Abstract

Technology takes all the integral roles in our life. Not only the roles of job commercial but also the roles of teaching and learning. Online learning is a typical teaching and learning process through electronic media of computers and the internet. This system calls an E-Learning or Blended Learning. E-Learning system is the manifest of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) that currently grows up rapidly in this modern era. In this 21st era, learners require to renew the knowledge of the way for learning through any technological tools. Both teachers and students must be aware of the use of technology and how to use it in the learning process. Some advantages of learning using ICT for teachers and students are necessary to be considered. Teachers can manage the large class efficiently because technology takes the teachers' role as the media of learning. Besides, a varied assignment can give effect. Then, the teacher can access the students' responses anytime in any places and also teachers can give feedback directly. Technology provides the chance of learning not only at school but also at home or in any place. This paper focuses on the understanding of using “Google Classroom" from the perspective of both teaching and learning. Findings in this research showed that Google Classroom could help teachers to manage the class, assignments, and report well. Students can learn any materials at any time and anywhere, track their progress, and students could enjoy learning like playing the game. This paper attempts to promote learning through online classes by joining www.googleclassroom.com, in which this online class is joyful for both teachers and students as Indonesian English learners. Abstract

The phenomenon of pesantren radicalism is something novel which recently happened. Islamic boarding schools as religious institutions are not actually established to be the source of radicalism. The pesantren has responsibility to produce knowledgeable religious characters or tafaqquh fi al-din. Therefore, pesantren teaches everything that exists in religion, from Tauhid, Syariah, and also morals. The pesantren development so far, with the intellectual capital that has been maintained by the pesantren, proves for making significant contribution to the formation and development of moderate diversity tone. In the diverse landscape of Muslim societies, pesantren are generators of moderate Islamic ideology, even though the degree of modernism is not explicitly affirmed in the texts of the yellow book (Kitab Kuning). Thus, the pesantren curriculum in itself has proven to be sufficient in the formation of the Islamic entity rãhmatan lil álamin. Keywords: Pesantren, curriculum, radicalism, moderate.

Abstract

The Ordinary Language Philosophy has been a philosophical trend in England, especially, and around the world. This philosophical trend offered a methodology to think and make speculation philosophically in a correct and relevant way. That methodological offering is language analysis. Therefore, some key problems mentioned here are related to language, because language as conceived by Ordinary Language Philosophy is a window for knowing and understanding the world. This conception leads to the discussion on the limit of the world and theory of meaning. These discussion on both limit of the world and theory of meaning determines the conception of Ordinary Language Philosophy about the function and task of philosophy. Abstract

All regions in Indonesia have the potential of a unique tourism village and become a tourist attraction. Therefore, encouraging the tourism sector becomes the right choice for the region to advance the economy. The village that has taken advantage of these bureaucracy opportunities in the tourism sector is Gubugklakah Tourism Village, Poncokusumo District, Malang Regency. Indeed it has both positive and negative impacts on the environment and socio-economic conditions of the community. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach to explore how the Existence of Tourism Village Affects Social and Environmental Conditions of Communities in Gubugklakah Village, Poncokusumo District, Malang Regency. The development of agriculture-based tourism in the village of Gubugklakah has a positive influence on the Gubugklakah community, especially on environmental and social aspects. In the environmental aspect, it increases recognition to protect the environment with an eco-friendly lifestyle. The structure development of tourism facilities that are not too conflicting with the local community's natural environment and socio-cultural has caused no pollution of the landscape in the village of Gubugklakah. The development of natural resources that are non-extractive, non-consumptive, and sustainable in tourism helps to lessen the negative impact. Moreover, the local community's role in social activities increases the sustainability of tourism activities in Gubugklah Village.. Keywords: Tourism Village, Community's Social Economic Condition.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the novel of Ayah and Sebelas Patriot by Andrea Hirata based on Carl Gustav Jung's personality concepts, namely personality structure, personality dynamics, and personality development. Through personality, the analysis will be known as the forms of behavior, feelings, and thoughts of a father and son in interacting. It can describe a person's personal development and the influence of personality formation.  The approach used in this study is qualitative. The data source in this study is the novel Ayah and Sebelas Patriot. The data of this study are: (1) the personality structure of father and son figures in the Ayah and Sebelas Patriot by Andrea Hirata; (2) personality dynamics of father and son figures in the Ayah and Sebelas Patriot Novels by Andrea Hirata; and (3) The development of the personality of the father and son characters of the Ayah and Sebelas Patriot Novels by Andrea Hirata. Data collection techniques in this study using document techniques.  Based on the results of the study, the personality in the novel Ayah and Sebelas Patriot by Andrea Hirata illustrates the first, personality structure of father and son characters who use feelings and thoughts as a form of behavior. Second, personality dynamics in the novel of Ayah and Sebelas Patriot by Andrea Hirata illustrate the focus of solving problems and conflicts that exist is a form of interaction between personality structures, during the actual power of feeling and attention as a form of psychic energy. Third, personality development in the novel of Ayah and Sebelas Patriot by Andrea Hirata contains personality development focused on problem-solving. The problems faced will make the character's personality better in terms of attitudes and behavior—psychiatric and emotional interactions in humans resulting from personality development.  Keywords: Personality, personality structure, personality dynamics, personality development.

Abstract

As the leading guide of Muslims in life and life, the Quran is always interesting to study, a lot of efforts of the scholars to interpret the contents of the holy verses in it. Fazlur Rahman is one of the many contemporary scholars who have the idea of a unique approach, and maybe it could be new in the world of interpretation. One approach in understanding the Koran, he poured in the book "Major Themes of the Quran" which is until now has been used as reference, especially in interpretation's methodology of the Quran.  From the results of an in-depth study, an explanation of Fazlur Rahman's approach obtained to interpret the Quran verses. It is called Synthesis-Logical, socio-historical, with a dual movement hermeneutic approach. Furthermore, in "Major Themes of the Quran" Fazlur Rahman uses the Synthesis-Logical method. On the other hand, the idea of the Synthesis-Logical Method when examined further turns out to have similar classical interpretation approach, called Maudhu'? with munasabah approach.  Keywords: Fazlur Rahman, contemporary interpretation, methods.

Abstract

Since the beginning of the growth of Islam brought by the Prophet Muhammad, human values have always been urgent matters which have been strived to always be manifested in human life at that time. The manifestation of these human values can be found in several important events during the time when the Prophet Muhammad preached Islam to the Aus and Khazraj of Yathrib. Likewise, when Rasulullah SAW became the highest leader in Medina, in his efforts to regulate the life of the people of Medina at that time.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) hambatan guru dalam proses pembelajaran matematika dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif (2) alternatif solusi dari hambatan yang dihadapi guru dalam pembelajaran matematika dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian yakni 2 guru matematika dan 2 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) hambatan yang dihadapi meliputi guru kesulitan memilih model pembelajaran kooperatif yang sesuai, guru kesulitan dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan minat belajar siswa. Hambatan yang dialami siswa meliputi rendahnya keberanian siswa untuk bertanya kepada guru, mengemukakan ide maupun menyanggah pendapat, mengerjakan soal ke depan tanpa ditunjuk guru. (2) alternatif solusi dari hambatan yang dihadapi guru meliputi upaya penyesuaian dengan perkembangan pemahaman tentang Kurikulum 2013 revisi, guru sebaiknya membuat modul, guru harus kreatif, inovatif sehingga pembelajaran dapat berlangsung dengan baik.

Abstract

Marriage is the gate of life that is usually passed by mankind in carrying out life as husband and wife. Allah SWT create something with pairs, male and female, male and female (of animals), day and night, and so on. The Siri marriage still occur nowadays. In fact, unregistered marriage such as Siri marriage could create disadvantage influence on women and their children. The siri marriage, or known by 'married under the hands', 'kawin siri' or 'nikah siri', is a marriage that is carried out based on religious rules or customs, but it is not registered in the official marriage affair (KUA).. Even though it is legal according to religion, marriage under the hand or the Siri marriage has no legal protection from the law affairs. So that, Indonesia official law cannot provide legal protection for women and their children when they have any marriage issue. Abstract

Discovery learning method is to understand concepts, meanings, and relationships through an intuitive process to finally arrive at a conclusion. Discovery occurs when individuals are involved, especially in the use of mental processes to discover some concepts and principles. Discovery is done through observation, classification, measurement, prediction, determination and inference. This process is called the cognitive process, while the discovery itself is the mental process of assimilation concepts and principles in the mind (Budiningsih, 2005, p. 43). This study aims to obtain a learning design using discovery learning methods to increase student learning activity. This research was conducted in MA Al-Manshury Sungai Bakau Besar Lat, the focus of this study was to obtain a learning design using the discovery learning method in order to further increase the learning activity of Al-Manshury students in the Sungai Bakau Besar Laut. The research method used is qualitative and the subject of this research is the students of MA Al-Manshury Sungai Bakau Besar Laut, especially Class XI, totaling 28 people.
