Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of several factors that affect the ratings of non-financial company bonds that have gone public on the Indonesian stock exchange. To achieve this purpose, a study was conducted with a research period of 2017 – 2020 and used purposive sampling as a sampling method and the data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The results showed that partially the current ratio had no significant effect on bond ratings, the ratio of debt to equity had a negative and significant effect on bond ratings, and the ratio of net income to total assets had a positive and significant effect on bond ratings. The ability of the three ratios in explaining bond ratings is 51.3 percent.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the feasibility study of establishing a business for animal feed division from the production aspect, market aspect, organizational management aspect, and financial aspect. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from Dairi Regency in terms of numbers and results of previous studies, while primary data is collected through questionnaires collected from the community and related OPD officials. The results of the analysis show that: (1) from the organizational management aspect, the production aspect, the technical and technological aspects and the market and marketing aspects and the socio-economic and financial aspects indicate that the establishment of an animal feed business division in Dairi Regency is feasible to be established and (2) the results of the analysis sensitivity with an increase in total production costs by 10% resulting in an NPV value >0, Net B/C >1, IRR> prevailing interest rates, and a payback period below 10 years and with a decrease in total income by producing an NPV value > 0, Net B/C >1, IRR>applicable interest rate and payback period below 10 years.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of training, supervision and work discipline on employee performance at PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Berastagi. The population in this study were all employees of PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Berastagi, totaling 52 people. Given the small number of populations, the researchers used the entire population as a sample. The analytical technique used in this research is multiple linear regression. The coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.652 means that variations in employee performance can be explained by variations in training, supervision and work discipline, by 65.2% and the remaining 34.8%, explained by other variables such as commitment, work spirit, motivation and others. The results of hypothesis testing simultaneously indicate that training, supervision and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Berastagi. This is indicated by the significance value of F, 0.000 < (0.05). Testing the hypothesis partially shows that training, supervision and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Berastagi. This is indicated by the significance value of each independent variable smaller than (0.05). PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Berastagi should pay more attention to the training materials provided to employees, improve supervision and evaluate work discipline so that performance can be improved.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership style, job characteristics and job satisfaction on the performance of nurses at Mitra Sejati Hospital Medan. Data were obtained directly from respondents (nurses) at Mitra Sejati Hospital Medan. The total population of this study was 82 people and the number of samples through the census was 82 people. The analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression, descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that the variables of leadership style, job characteristics and job satisfaction simultaneously (simultaneously) have a positive and significant effect on the performance of nurses at Mitra Sejati Hospital Medan. While partially shows that leadership style has a positive and significant effect on the performance of nurses at Mitra Sejati Hospital Medan with a regression coefficient value of 0.232 and a significance value of 0.001 <= 0.05 (smaller than the error tolerance value). Job characteristics have a positive and significant effect on the performance of nurses at Mitra Sejati Hospital Medan with a regression coefficient value of 0.321 and a significance value of  0.000 0.05 (smaller than the error tolerance value). Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on the performance of nurses at Mitra Sejati Hospital Medan with a regression coefficient value of 0.267 and a significance value of 0.013 <=0.05 (greater than the error tolerance value).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership style, career development and job satisfaction on employee performance at PT. Perkasa Internusa Mandiri Medan. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 67 respondents. From the results of the study obtained multiple regression equations as follows: Y = 2,919+ 0,322X1 + 0,396X2+ 0,445X3 + . All regression coefficients are positive, meaning that all independent variables, namely leadership style, career development and job satisfaction, have a positive effect on the dependent variable, namely employee performance. Of the three independent variables, job satisfaction has a greater influence on employee performance because it has the largest regression coefficient of 0.445. Based on partial hypothesis testing, leadership style, career development and job satisfaction have a significant effect on employee performance where the significance value of each variable is smaller than alpha (0.05). Based on simultaneous hypothesis testing, the three independent variables, namely leadership style, career development and job satisfaction have a significant effect on the dependent variable, namely employee performance. This can be seen from the significance value of 0.000 < alpha (0.05). The coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.766 means that employee performance can be explained by leadership style, career development and job satisfaction of 76.6% while the remaining 23.4% is explained by other variables not explained in this study such as motivation, communication and competence. From the results of research and discussion, PT. Perkasa Internusa Mandiri Medan should develop and maintain indicators of leadership style, career development and job satisfaction on employee performance at PT. Perkasa Internusa Mandiri Medan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of transformational leadership, work motivation, and job satisfaction on employee performance at PT. Mega Bintang Mas Indonesia Medan. The population in this study is 72 (seventy two) and the sample is 72 using census technique. Research respondents are employees at PT. Mega Bintang Mas Indonesia Medan, which are 72 (seventy two) employees. The data research instruments used are questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is validity test, reliability test, descriptive analysis, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, Park Gleyser test, normality test, multiple linear analysis, multiple linear reliability coefficient test, partial hypothesis test or t test, simultaneous hypothesis test or test. F, and the coefficient of determination. The results of descriptive analysis at PT. Mega Bintang Mas Indonesia Medan for transformasional leadership style variable is in good category, work motivation variable is in bad category, job satisfaction variable is in very bad category and employee performance variable at PT. Mega Bintang Mas Indonesia Medan is in quite good category. Based on a partial analysis, transformational leadership, work motivation, job satisfaction have a positive and significant influence on employee performance at PT. Mega Bintang Mas Indonesia Medan. Simultaneously, transformational leadership, work motivation, job satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Mega Bintang Mas Indonesia Medan. The contribution of transformational leadership variables, work motivation, job satisfaction to improve employee performance variables amounted to 0.566 or 56.6%, while the remaining 0.434 or 43.4% is influenced by other variables that are not examined by writer in this research, such as work environment, compensation, culture, and so on.

Abstract

Indonesia's agricultural sector has a very important role in the development of the national economy because most of the Indonesian people depend on the agricultural sector. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the demand for rice and to analyze the elasticity of demand (price, cross, and income) of rice in the province of North Sumatra. The data used in this study is Time series data (1998-2018), data analysis using Multiple Linear Regression. The coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.82 indicates that about 82% of rice demand in North Sumatra can be explained by variations in rice prices, mung bean prices, egg prices, income per capita, and population, while the remaining 18% is explained by variations in other variables. which is not included in the model. The results of the over-all test show that the price of rice, the price of green beans, the price of eggs, per capita income, and the population have a significant effect on the demand for rice. Based on the partial test, the price of rice, the price of mung bean, and the population have a significant effect on the demand for rice, while the price of eggs and per capita income have no significant effect on the demand for rice in North Sumatra. The price elasticity of rice is inelastic, the cross elasticity of the price of green beans and the price of eggs is positive or substitution, and the income elasticity of rice is a normal good

Abstract

The development of communication technology causes smartphones to dominate the market, especially Chinese smartphone products. The number of Chinese products in the market is due to cheap and affordable prices, but not accompanied by good quality so that the Indonesian people already have their own views on Chinese products. However, Xiaomi as one of the mobile phone manufacturers from China in fact managed to become one of the kings of the smartphone market in Indonesia, this is because the price is affordable. This study aims to analyze interest and purchase decisions through price, quality and innovation. The results of data processing proved that all statement items were valid and all variables were reliable. The results showed that interest and purchasing decisions for Xiaomi smartphones in East Surabaya through price, quality and innovation were said to be moderate. Subsequent results show consumer interest and purchase decisions due to price and product quality, while innovation is not the cause of interest and purchase decisions for Xiaomi smartphones in East Surabaya, but purchasing decisions are due to price and product quality through interest first

Abstract

This research aims to find out the extent of the effect of compensation, work environment, safety and health (K3) on employee performance of PT. starlight is self-contained terrain. Data collection is done through questionnaires, interviews and documentation techniques. The research method used was quantative, with 74 respondents taken using saturated sampling and census. The results of this study showed that the variables of compensation, work environment, occupational safety and health (K3) together (simultaneously) had a positive and significant effect on the performance of PT employees. Self-Contained StarLight. While partially showing that compensation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. Medan independent starlight with a regression coefficient value of 0.349 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 (less than the error tolerance value). The work environment has a positive and significant effect on the performance of PT employees, sinar Bintang Mandiri Medan with a regression coefficient value of 0.371 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 (less than the error tolerance value). Occupational safety and health (K3) has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. Mandiri Medan star beam with regression coefficient value 0.319 and significance value of 0.016 < 0.05 (greater than the error tolerance value).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of quality on the satisfaction of members of the Karya Murni Savings and Loans Cooperative Medan. The type of research used is descriptive and quantitative. The research sample was 96 respondents with the maximum sampling error sampling method from the population carried out randomly. The required data was collected through a questionnaire. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the trend of the number of cooperative members, the remaining operating results and the total assets of the cooperative decreased, this happened because of the dissatisfaction of the members in terms of the loan interest rates offered were higher than other savings and loan cooperatives, the length of time span between the application and loan disbursement ( checking files, guarantees, checking guarantees) while the need for funds is urgent, there are many administrative costs (fee to become a member, notary deed fees, fees if members borrow, loan administration fees and the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic that makes members' businesses stand still and unable to do so). paying dues obligations and loan installments this makes members leave the cooperative. Based on the F-test, with a significant level of 0.000 F-table which is 2.58, meaning that service quality simultaneously has a positive and significant effect on member satisfaction. The results of the t-test, that the tangibles variable, has a positive effect on the satisfaction of the members of the cooperative, but it is not significant on the satisfaction of the members of the cooperative. While empathy has a negative effect on the satisfaction of the members of the cooperative, but it is significant on the satisfaction of the members of the cooperative. Seeing the weakness of the t-test of the tangible and empathy variables, it is suggested that the management of the cooperative needs to review it by providing a uniqueness that is different from other competitors so that members can enjoy the results that are felt to exceed expectations, so that members will be very satisfied and remain loyal to the services offered. by members of the Karya Murni Savings and Loans Cooperative Medan
