Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of religious motivation, spiritual belief, place attachment, destination image, and country image on visit intention at religious tourism destinations. Apart from that, this research also tests whether destination familiarity is able to moderate the influence of religious motivation, spiritual belief, place attachment, destination image, and country image on visit intention at religious tourism destinations. The religious tourism destination studied was the Christ the King statue in the city of Dili, Timor-Leste. Primary data was collected through a survey by distributing questionnaires to 219 people who knew about the religious tourist destination of the Christ the King Statue in the city of Dili but had never come to visit it. Sampling used the purposive sampling method. The results of analysis using SEM-PLS indicated that religious motivation, place attachment, and country image have an influence on visit intention. Spiritual beliefs and destination image were found to have no influence on visit intention. The results of the moderation test show that destination familiarity does not moderate the influence of religious motivation, spiritual belief, place attachment, destination image, and country image on visit intention at religious tourism destinations.

Abstract

Consumer puchase intention is a crucial determining factor in business success, especially in the highly competitive food and beverage industry. Entrepreneurs in the food and beverage industry must be able to increase and maintain consumer puchase intention to sustain and grow their business. If consumer puchase intention declines, the business may face serious threats that could lead to losses and even failure. Based on this, this research was conducted to examine the influence of price, product quality, and location on puchase intention at Porong Wei Signature Pakuwon Mall Surabaya. Using purposive sampling, 130 respondents from Surabaya, consisting of those who had and had not visited Porong Wei Signature Pakuwon Mall Surabaya, participated in this study. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression and SPSS version 26 software to test validity, reliability, classical assumptions, and research hypotheses. The results show that price and location variables have a significant positive effect on consumer puchase intention, while product quality has a positive but insignificant effect. The findings of this study provide important implications for entrepreneurs and marketers to develop marketing strategies to increase consumer puchase intention.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of financial literacy and a cashless lifestyle on the consumptive behavior of Generation Z in Klaten Regency. The research method employs a quantitative approach through a survey of 311 Generation Z respondents aged 18–25 years. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using validity tests, reliability tests, and multiple linear regression. The results of the study show the following: Financial Literacy: The majority of respondents (63%) have a good level of financial literacy, especially in understanding budgeting and saving. However, understanding of debt-related risks remains low. Financial literacy has a significant negative effect on consumptive behavior, meaning that the higher the financial literacy, the lower the tendency toward consumptive habits. Cashless Lifestyle: About 59% of respondents actively use digital payment methods due to their convenience and efficiency, although there are concerns regarding security. A cashless lifestyle has a significant positive effect on consumptive behavior, indicating that the ease of digital transactions can encourage excessive spending. Consumptive Behavior: Around 47% of respondents exhibit moderate levels of consumptive behavior, with a tendency toward impulsive buying driven by discounts or promotions. The conclusion of this study highlights the importance of financial literacy in balancing a cashless lifestyle, enabling Generation Z to manage their finances wisely. Recommendations include enhancing financial education, improving understanding of debt risks, and fostering collaboration among stakeholders to support healthy financial management. This study contributes to understanding the dynamics of Generation Z's financial behavior in the digital era, offering practical recommendations to mitigate the negative impact of consumerism.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of transparency, budget efficiency, and transportation safety performance on the accountability of government agency performance at Terminal Type A ALBN Sui Ambawang, West Kalimantan. The background of this research is based on the importance of accountability as an indicator of good governance, especially in the context of strategic border terminal management. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method to 83 respondents who are operational and managerial employees of the terminal, using a Likert scale questionnaire instrument. Data analysis was performed with multiple linear regression using SPSS 26. The results showed that simultaneously, transparency, budget efficiency, and transportation safety performance had a significant effect on the performance accountability of government agencies. However, partially, only budget efficiency and transportation safety performance have a significant effect, while transparency has no significant effect. Budget efficiency has the greatest influence on accountability, followed by safety performance. This research provides theoretical contributions to the public sector accountability literature and practical implications for the management of border terminals, especially in terms of strengthening the efficiency of budget use and improving transportation safety standards as part of the accountability of government institutions.

Abstract

Consciousness of health and food safety continues to increase over time, especially among the millennial generation. This study aims to explore the influence of health consciousness and food safety concerns on purchase intentions mediated by organic food consumer involvement. A quantitative approach and purposive sampling method were used to target respondents who frequently purchase organic food, with a sample size of 190 participants. Data were collected with an online questionnaire designed to measure each variable. The data of the respondents of this study using primary data were processed using the Smart PLS (Partial Least Square) tool. The results showed that health consciousness and food safety concerns have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention, both directly and indirectly through consumer involvement. Consumer involvement proved to be a partial mediator that strengthens the relationship between health consciousness and food safety concerns on purchase intention. These findings provide important implications for marketers of organic products to increase educational campaigns on health and food safety and strengthen consumer involvement in making purchase intentions.

Abstract

This study investigates the key determinants influencing the purchase of hypertension medication. This study involved 100 hypertensive patients in Yogyakarta who purchased hypertension medication. Data were collected using a validated and reliable research questionnaire. Multiple regression analysis was used to test the hypotheses. The results of this study indicate that (1) price perception has a positive effect on the purchase of hypertension medication, as evidenced by a significance value of 0.011, less than 0.05; (2) promotion has a positive effect on intention to purchase hypertension medication, as evidenced by a significance value of 0.002, less than 0.05; and (3) product quality has a positive effect on repurchase intention. The implication is that pharmaceutical companies set appropriate prices to compete with other pharmaceutical companies, increase promotion of hypertension medication, and maintain and improve the quality of hypertension medication that patients trust so that they continue to repurchase the medication and avoid switching to other brands.
