Abstract

Ketersediaan sumber air bersih khususnya di daerah kampung waroi belum memadai secara optimal oleh pemerintah setempat terumata perusahaan daerah (PDAM) untuk melayani tingkat kebutuhan masyarakat, untuk itu perlu dilakukan pengeboran air tanah. Air tanah adalah air yang di sadap atau diisap dari bawah tanah yang sudah diketahui, baik kuantitasnya, maupun kualitasnya untuk dipergunakan sebagai kebutuhan masyarakat setiap hari. Sumber air bersih yang dipergunakan baik untuk keperluan cuci, mandi dan kebutuhan air minum di kampung waroi selama ini adalah memanfaatkan air hujan. Kualitas dan kuantitas akan air hujan ini sangat terbatas, sedangkan kebutuhan akan air bersih untuk keperluan masyarakat adalah sangat tinggi. Untuk itulah dengan adanya pemboran air tanah dalam ini, maka sedikit banyaknya kebutuhan akan air bersih untuk masyarakat dapat teratasi. Pengabdian ini langsung diterapkan dilapangan dengan pengelolaan menggunakan peralatan yang murah, sederhana, serta terjangkau dan langsung dapat dirasakan manfaatnya oleh masyarakat kampung waroi. Kedalaman sumur bor sekitar 75 meter. Penyaluran air bersih dilakukan dengan cara memasang tangki penampungan air ( intake ) setinggi 5 meter diatas permukaan tanah, kemudian disambung sekitar 5 buah pipa air penyaluran yang dipasang kran, sehingga masyarakat dapat menggunakan air secara langsung setiap hari. Pada akhirnya harus dipikirkan seberapa besar air bersih yang akan dibutuhkan dan sistem yang digunakan dalam pencarian sumber-sumber air bersih, baik manual maupun konvensional.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) has an important role in the Indonesian economy, one of which can help the per capita income of the Indonesian state, especially in Banyuwangi Regency, as well as in the UM Banana Sale UD UD. Sumber Alam Buana, located at the eastern end of the island of Java, precisely in Banyuwangi. The UMKM is one of Banyuwangi's original typical food businesses from Ambon banana raw material, bearing in mind that typical food is identical to souvenirs (souvenirs) when visiting Banyuwangi, certainly not forgetting to bring and share them with you. However, there are problems in the field of production of UD Banana Banana UD, namely the low production capacity of processing banana raw materials because it still uses a cutting knife and the appropriate method has not been applied to record raw materials or finished goods so that the owner is less able to control the cycle of raw materials or finished goods. While in the marketing sector it is still conventional to be entrusted in a gift shop so that it can only wait for whether the product is sold or vice versa. The solution to the development activities of UMKM Sale Banana UD Sumber Alam Buana includes counseling and training using a banana chopper tool that is more efficient than a knife that has been used to chop banana raw materials. Whereas in terms of recording to help partners to control raw material inventory and finished goods efficiently and effectively, the need for training knowledge and assistance to owners and employees using a perpetual method stock card (inventory). To expand market share that has demanded the use of technology, training is held to make e-mail as a portal to access several e-commerce websites and to open online stores through social media such as Facebook and others. The results achieved in the Community Service program are the development of this business in terms of increasing production capacity, managing raw materials, expanding markets and increasing income.

Abstract

The school canteen has an important role to fulfill the food needs of school children. In general, foods that are sold in canteens have very diverse variations, with prices relatively cheap and easily accessible to school children. The need for fulfillment of hygienic foods is ordered by the factors of place and hygiene of the food handlers need to be done. Foods that do not meet the requirements and safety that can be given due to health problems or diseases related to food such as diarrhea, cholera, dysentery, typhus, and other food poisoning. The number of food handlers in the cafeteria of SD Muhammadiyah 1 and 2 Sidoarjo competes 6 people. Based on the results of observations and interviews, they did not have sufficient educational background in terms of hygiene and food sanitation, and they never gained knowledge about food hygiene and sanitation. This will greatly determine the quality of food provided to consumers especially elementary school children. Based on this, the Community Service activities on hygiene training and food sanitation were carried out at food handlers in the cafeteria of Muhammadiyah 1 and 2 elementary schools in Sidoarjo.

Abstract

Many MSMEs failed in the initial process of operation, one of the reasons for the failure of these MSMEs was a lack of analysis of pricing strategies. Batam as an industrial city and one of the main destinations for productive age residents to find work. The dense population and working hours from morning to morning again make people not have enough time to take care of their homework. So the existence of laundry business is one solution to overcome these problems. The number of laundry businesses in Batam certainly narrows competition. So every business must have new innovations, new ideas and knowledge in managing businesses to pricing strategies. When the business management is good and the entrepreneur has the knowledge of arranging pricing, the entrepreneur will certainly be able to know for sure the benefits that are earned each month. The purpose of this service activity is to provide guidance on business management, pricing strategies. The methods used are interviews, providing guidance, and business consulting. The results of this activity are laundry businesses in Cipta Asri, Batam City, which have good business management, understand the pricing strategy and are able to calculate business profits every month.

Abstract

This paper provides an overview of the condition of the community around the TPA (Final Waste Disposal Site) of Sumberejo hamlet Wringinagung Village Gambiran District Banyuwangi Regency in processing non-organic waste into handicrafts that have more selling value to improve the community's economic level. The community service approach used is PAR (Participatory Action Research) in the form of community training and training. The results of this dedication show the enthusiasm of the community to be able to participate in these activities and practice them in order to get more economic resources and meet their daily needs

Abstract

Sumberagung Village is one of the villages in Banyuwangi Regency which is in the southern region precisely at the foot of Mount Tumpang Pitu, Mount Lompong, Mount Bayur, and Bukit Kapur (Gunung Gamping). The village has the potential of cocoa plants. There is a problem of wasted cocoa skin waste, so we took the initiative to help the community to reduce cocoa skin waste by utilizing food preparations that could add to the economy in Sungailembu Hamlet. So that the cocoa skin waste will have a high selling value, and can be used as a typical product of the Sungailembu Hamlet. Therefore, to help with the problem of reducing cocoa skin waste, a training was held in Sungailembu Hamlet, which was attended by IIK (Employees 'Wives' Association) housed in the Punta Dewa building. By giving direction on the innovation of cocoa skin waste to be processed into cocoa skin crackers.

Abstract

Tegalharjo village is a village in Glenmore sub-district, Banyuwangi district, which has a very large plantation area with a variety of plants. One of the plants that thrives on plantations and people's homes is the papaya tree. But the use of papaya as a village's potential to improve the economy of citizens is less than optimal. Papaya is generally left to rot in the trees, sometimes sold cheaply with a maximum price of Rp1,500.00 a kilo gram and even ironically it is only used as animal feed. Meanwhile the majority of housewives only depend on the family economy for their husbands' work as farmers, farm laborers, very few who are self-employed and plantation labour majority. Seeing this, there needs to be innovations that can increase the economic value of papaya fruit. One of them by processing papaya fruit into shredded. After being processed into shredded, the selling value automatically increases from a kilo of Rp 1,500.00 to Rp 5,000.00 in 150 grams. This innovation was carried out by the service team through mentoring activities and training in making shredded papaya fruit.

Abstract

The service partner is the TPQ Silastra Condong Catur, Darul Falah TPQ Maguwo Harjo Maguwo Harjo, TPA Al-Huda Caturtunggal, Yogyakarta. The reason for determining the proposed object problem is the background of the problems that arise in the lack of use of the Al-Quran Education Park (TPA) as the center of religus character education. The solution proposed by the dedication team was to integrate the Al-Quran reading and writing learning with the values of religious characters to the santri. The method used by the service team is consultation, mentoring, and training. The contribution proposed by the dedication team is for TPA to maximize the role of TPA in religious character education. For santri, they can get additional knowledge. For the community, they can support the efforts to cultivate religious character education. The conclusion is that the existence of TPA is still essential in society as a place of education for children.

Abstract

The purpose of the training is to increase understanding and knowledge of planning through business analysis, so that batik business is expected to increasingly be able to increase the profits of entrepreneurs in the batik cluster. Training implementation methods are: counseling methods (lectures, questions and answers) and discussions between participants. Evaluation of training activities is carried out with pre-test and post-test. The results of the training are that participants are able to know and understand business development techniques; able to know and understand about how to make a business feasibility study and measure strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and business threats (SWOT Analysis). This can be seen from the pre-test results distributed by the training team. The conclusions of this training include the members of the batik cluster who have been able to increase knowledge about business development techniques and can conduct business feasibility studies, measure strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and business threats (SWOT Analysis) as well as increasing motivation to run their businesses.
