Jurnal Sendratasik diterbitkan 4 (empat) kali pada bulan S Maret, Juni, September, dan December denganmemuat artikel / artikel penelitian di bidang musik, tari, dan drama serta pembelajarannya. Memuat teks yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok penyunting, naskah yang digunakan adalah naskah yang lolos dan tidak pernah / tidak akan pindah ke jurnal lain. Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

Abstract This article aims to reveal and explain the existence of dance in Ateh Piriang Kaco in Nagari Bayur. Type of research is a qualitative, descriptive method. Object of study is the existence of dance in Ateh Piriang Kaco. Data obtained with a literature study, observation, interviews, photo shoots and documentation. Conducted data analysis with ethnographic techniques. The results showed that dance Piriang in Ateh Kaco still recognized to this day by people Bayur. This is evidenced by the still in use and functioning of dance Piriang in Ateh Kaco by the Cultural Bayur in social activities. Kata kunci: keberadaan, tari, Piriang, Ateh, Kaco

Abstract The research armed at describing the implementation of group work model in the self development during the dance activity of SMA N 1 Lubuk Alung. The design of the research was qualitative using descriptive method. The instrument of the research was the researcher. The methods used were field observation. The data was collected through observation, interview, library research and the field note the students’ activities. The data was analyzed the described. From the research, it was concluded that the implementation of group work method found to be advantageous and improved students learning outcome during the activity of self-development in the dance class at SMA N 1 Lubuk Alung.

Abstract The purpose of this study was to reveal the picture of students' interest to wards learning the art of music in SMP Negeri 1 Painan South Coastal District. This type of researc his descriptive, while research conducted in February-March 2013. The instrument used was a questionnaire to collect data using a Likert scale. Data were analyzed using frequency distribution formula in the form of a percentage. From the analysis of the data obtained the following results: 1. Minat siswa in SMPN egeri 1 Painan seen from the classification indicators are sufficient participation (74.1%). 2. Student interest in SMP Negeri 1 Painan seen from the classification indicators are sufficient attention to the percentage of75.7%. 3. Student interest in SMP Negeri 1 Painan seen from the feeling of being on the classification of the indicators enough with the percentage of 79.3%. It means that of the three indicators of interest needs to be improved, so that students become better. Kata kunci : Minat, pembelajaran, musik, deskriptif.

Abstract The background of this research is based on the low of the students, interest play sarunai. Specially to the students of grade X in SMAN 5 South solok. The goal of this research is to reveal that the using of demonstrasion can increase the students, interest in playing sarunai in grade X-1 in SMAN 5 South Solok. The benefit of this research is as the input for the art and culture teacher especially in SMAN 5 South Solok in increasing the interest of students in learning play sarunai.This research is class action research that in done by using the model of cycle that divided into 4 steps that is planning, action, observation, and reflection. The sample of this research is the students of grade X-1 SMAN South Solok semester 2 january-june 2013 with 30 students. The instrument that is used is observation sheet as tally list. That contents of analyzed by using the percentage formula P= (F/N) X 100%.The result of the research shows that there is the increasing of the students, interest in playing sarunai in cycle 1 is 54,6 % and in the 2 is 81,9 % it means there is the increasing the students interest to play sarunai by using demonstrasion method from the cycle 1 to cycle 2 is 27,3 %. Key words: the increasing of students, intereset play sarunai music by the demonstration method.

Abstract Music Composition "The Dream" is a music composition that the making is departed from an imagination laid out with the kind of Chamber Music by presenting new colorsin the composition of the creation, which form a complete work of music. This type of art work bases the music groove on the conventional true events and emphasizes the supportive atmosphere in the composition. The Dream musical composition consists of 4 main forms using tempo Grave, Adante, moderatoassai, and moderato, which can describe the atmosphere tha tis present in a dream. The dream thatcomes up is intrepeted by the autho as an outline view of reality that appears to the mind of a writer like remorse, emotion, uncertainty, sincerity and dreams. The presentation of music composition "The Dream" puts some basic instruments and supporting instruments with piano as the main melody, group of strings (Violin, Viola, Cello), saluang sirompak, saluang darek, and keyboard as accompainement in music composition encapsulated by the author in the concept of this show. Abstrack Type a descriptive study which describe the students' perceptions of learning the art of traditional music at SMP 27 Padang. The samples used were 44 students. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded: 1) Understanding Student Learning Against Traditional Music in SMP 27 Padang categorized Good that where 38 people (87.11%) respondents stated always (SL) and Frequently (SR), 2) students' reactions to learning traditional music at SMP 27 Good Enough categorized Padang where 35 people (77.96%) respondents stated always (SL) and Frequently (SR), 3) Acceptance of students towards learning the art of traditional music at SMP 27 Padang, where 32 are categorized Good Enough people (73.24%) respondents stated always (SL) and Frequently (SR). Abstract This article aimed to explaining student's motivation infollowing dancing activities as their self-development activities in SD Negeri 09 Surau Gadang Nanggalo Padang. The type of this research was descriptive qualitative research. The data ware collected from observation, interviews, and literature review. The data were analyzed byusing the phenomenology. The findings indicated that the students weremotivated enoughi following the dancing activiti as their self-development activities. It was seenfromstudents’ enthuseiastic and earnest responseabout theactivities. Most studentsexpressedtheir excitementandwillingness tofollowthe activities.It could be councluded that the students following the dancing activities were those who cared for the dance art itself.

Abstract This research aims to (1) describe and discover how the shape of the show At Pasisia party Rabab marriage in Pekonina Pauh Duo District in South Solok Regency, (2) This type of qualitative research methods a descriptive analysis. Main is the author's own Istrument, using the tools in the field such as writing instruments, cameras for recording and taking pictures. Data collection techniques through observation, interview and study library. Rabab pasisia performances in the form of the marriage festivities is shaped of joke performing arts night, serving a wide range of dendang-dendang pantun-pantun-shaped. The audience is the general public, show the relatives invited home masters and come see the show. Rabab pasisia Arts for local community serves as a means of entertainment and unifying community. Abstract This research aimed at describing the learning of musical notations through drilling, in the Art and Culture subject at SMP Negeri I Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. The learning of musical notations was not fully enjoyed by the students. They assumed that this learning material was difficult to understand and not really important for them. In fact, this learning material improved their ability when they later had musical, vocal. and instrumental practices. The teacher then found some solutions to solve this problem: I) explaining the form and the value of notes to the students such as about the symbol and the duration of full notes, half notes, quarter notes, and eighth notes: 2) explaining and providing examples or beats to the students such as quarter beats or eighth heats: 3) explaining the relationship of time signature (in meters) and heats such as second, third. and fourth meter: 4) explaining the differences of low and up beats and providing examples on how to read the first, second, third, and fourth notes: 5) explaining, and providing examples of units or groups of note: 6) providing examples of' rhythm patterns from the song that was taught to the students as welI as providing examples of rhythm patterns for each phrase of the song.
