Abstract

This research examines the influence of institutional ownership, foreign ownership, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) disclosure on firm value, with audit quality positioned as a moderating variable. The study utilizes secondary data from 28 consumer non-cyclical firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange over the 2022–2024 period. Data analysis is conducted using multiple linear regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with SPSS version 27. The results indicate that institutional ownership has a negative and significant effect on firm value, while foreign ownership and ESG disclosure do not exhibit a significant influence. Audit quality, however, shows a positive and significant impact on firm value. Furthermore, audit quality does not moderate the relationship between institutional ownership and firm value, but it enhances the effect of foreign ownership and ESG disclosure on firm value.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Product Quality, Price, and Brand Image on purchasing decisions for Club brand bottled water at PT Tirta Sukses Perkasa in Takalar Regency. This study used an associative quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis. Data were collected through questionnaires from 150 respondents selected using a random sampling method. The results showed that all three independent variables simultaneously had a significant influence on purchasing decisions. Partially, Product Quality (sig. 0.005) and Brand Image (sig. 0.000) had a positive and significant influence. This indicates that guaranteed product quality and strong brand perception are the primary factors driving consumers to choose the Club brand. Conversely, Price (sig. 0.774) was found to have no significant influence on purchasing decisions, indicating that price changes are not a primary consideration for consumers in this product context. These findings suggest that to increase sales volume, companies need to focus on maintaining air quality standards and strengthening brand image in the public mind, given that consumers prioritize safety and trust in the product over price alone. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the number of business units, Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP), and technology on labor absorption with production value as an intervening variable in large and medium manufacturing industries in South Sulawesi Province. This research uses a quantitative approach with path analysis techniques assisted by SPSS software. The data used are secondary time series data obtained from official publications of the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of South Sulawesi for the period 2017–2025. The variables analyzed include the number of business units, UMP, technology, production value, and labor absorption. The results show that the number of business units has a positive and significant effect on labor absorption. Conversely, the Provincial Minimum Wage has a negative and significant effect on labor absorption. Meanwhile, technology does not have a significant effect on labor absorption. In addition, production value is proven to have a positive and significant effect on labor absorption. As an intervening variable, production value is not able to mediate the effect of the number of business units and technology on labor absorption, but it is able to mediate the effect of the Provincial Minimum Wage on labor absorption. These findings indicate that increasing industrial production activities plays an important role in encouraging labor absorption in the manufacturing industry sector in South Sulawesi Province.

Abstract

Ketimpangan pendapatan masih menjadi permasalahan dalam pembangunan ekonomi di Indonesia, termasuk di Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pendidikan, pertumbuhan ekonomi, dan Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) terhadap ketimpangan pendapatan di Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode regresi linear berganda menggunakan perangkat lunak EViews. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder deret waktu periode 2019–2023 yang diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) dan Sistem Informasi Keuangan Daerah (SIKD). Variabel yang digunakan meliputi ketimpangan pendapatan yang diukur dengan Gini Ratio, rata-rata lama sekolah sebagai indikator pendidikan, pertumbuhan ekonomi yang diukur melalui PDRB, serta PAD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap ketimpangan pendapatan. Pertumbuhan ekonomi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap ketimpangan pendapatan. Sementara itu, Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap ketimpangan pendapatan. Secara simultan, ketiga variabel tersebut berpengaruh signifikan terhadap ketimpangan pendapatan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kualitas pendidikan dan optimalisasi pengelolaan PAD dapat menjadi strategi penting dalam menekan ketimpangan pendapatan di Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of service quality and promotion on customer loyalty at PT. Pegadaian UPC Baraka. The background of this research is driven by fluctuations in the number of customers and the effectiveness of marketing strategies. The method used is quantitative associative with a population of 2,400 active customers in 2024. The sampling technique utilized the Slovin formula with a 10% margin of error, resulting in 96 respondents. Primary data were collected through questionnaires, while secondary data were obtained through the company's internal reports. Data analysis was performed using parametric statistical tests, including partial (t) and simultaneous (F) tests. The results showed that partially, service quality has a positive but insignificant effect on customer loyalty (t count 0.935 < t_table 1.661; sig 0.352). This is because customers prioritize the speed of fund disbursement over service aspects. Meanwhile, the promotion variable has a positive and significant effect on loyalty (t count 3.899 > t_{table 1.661; sig 0.000), making it the most dominant factor. Simultaneously, service quality and promotion have a significant influence on customer loyalty (F count 99.625 > F table 3.10; sig 0.000) with a coefficient of determination (Adjusted R²) of 0.675. This finding confirms that 67.5% of customer loyalty is determined by the combination of service and promotion. Management is advised to continue optimizing digital and conventional promotional strategies without neglecting service quality standards to create stronger and sustainable emotional engagement with customers in the future. Abstract

The development of digital technology has driven increased e-wallet use among Generation Z, which can influence financial management behavior. This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy and e-wallet use on the financial management behavior of Generation Z in Makassar City. Using a quantitative approach with an explanatory research method, data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire from 111 respondents. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS) to examine the influence of financial literacy and e-wallet use on financial management behavior. The results show that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on the financial management behavior of Generation Z in Makassar City. Furthermore, e-wallet use also has a positive and significant effect. This suggests that increased financial literacy and the use of digital payment technology can encourage better financial management behavior. The better a person's financial understanding and wise use of digital payment technology, the better their ability to manage their finances. Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of liquidity, profitability, and solvency ratios on the financial performance of PT. Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk. for the 2022-2024 Period. The research method used is quantitative. The population in this study is the financial statements published by PT. Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk. The samples taken in this study are the balance sheet, income statement, and notes to the financial statements of PT. Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk. Data analysis uses quantitative descriptive techniques utilizing financial ratio analysis methods. The results of the analysis and assessment indicate that the financial performance of PT. Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk. The 2022-2024 period, based on liquidity, profitability, and solvency ratios, can be considered quite healthy. However, improvements are still needed, particularly in asset management, operational efficiency, and debt control, to ensure optimal financial performance in the future. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of workload and competence on employee job satisfaction at the Civil Service and Human Resources Development Agency of Buleleng Regency. The approach used is quantitative with a causal research type, through a survey method using a Likert scale questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The population in this study were all ASN employees at the BKPSDM of Buleleng Regency with a sampling technique using the saturated sample method, so that the entire population was used as research respondents, namely 48 employees. Data were analyzed using the classical assumption test and multiple linear regression. The results of the study indicate that: (1) workload has a negative and significant effect on job satisfaction, (2) competence has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, and (3) simultaneously, workload and competence have a significant effect on job satisfaction. The R Square value of 0.551 indicates that the workload and competence variables are able to explain 55.1% of the variation in job satisfaction, while the rest is influenced by other variables outside the study. This finding confirms that proportional workload management and continuous competency improvement are important factors in increasing job satisfaction in the BKPSDM of Buleleng Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine how much influence the influence of promotions on social media, fear of missing out (FOMO), and self-control on impulsive buying behavior in generation Z in the perspective of Islamic economics. This study uses a quantitative method with primary data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires distributed to 140 respondents. The sample in this study was gen z aged 17-29 years, domiciled in Tengah Padang village and shopee users. The data analysis technique used is Partial Least Square analysis with the help of the Smartpls application. The results of the study show that partially promotions on social media, fear of missing out (FOMO) have a positive and significant effect on impulsive buying, and self-control has a negative and significant effect on impulsive buying. Simultaneously, promotions on social media, FoMO, and self-control have a significant effect on impulsive buying with an R-Square value of 0.585.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of competence, motivation, and leadership style on employee performance. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through questionnaires to 50 respondents. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression with the help of statistical tests. The results of the study indicate that partially competence has a significant effect on employee performance with a calculated t value of 2.87> t table 2.01 and a significance value of 0.006 <0.05. Motivation also has a significant effect with a calculated t value of 3.12> 2.01 and a significance of 0.003 <0.05. Leadership style has a significant effect with a calculated t value of 2.65> 2.01 and a significance of 0.011 <0.05. Simultaneously, competence, motivation, and leadership style have a significant effect on employee performance with a calculated F value of 18.45> F table 2.80 and a significance of 0.000 <0.05. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.68 indicates that 68% of the variation in employee performance can be explained by these three variables, while the remaining 32% is influenced by factors outside the study. The conclusion of this study indicates that competence, motivation, and leadership style have a positive and significant influence on employee performance, thus requiring primary attention in efforts to improve organizational performance.
