Abstract

This study was aimed at revealing the effect of headmaster’s leadership, achievement motivation, and compensation on the teachers’ discipline of the Junior High School Teachers in Districts Bantul. The study was conducted in Junior High School  Bantul sub-district Bantul Regency in academic year 0f 2013-2014. This research is a quantitative one using survey method. The population of this research is 105 teachers from 3 Junior High School on district Bantul, Special Province of Yogyakarta, and a sample of 105 teachers, was established using population sample. The descriptive analysis result shows that the principals’ leadership give positive impact and significant of teacher’s discipline. Achievement motivation gives positive impact and significant of teacher’s discipline, and compensation gives positive impact and significant for teacher’s discipline. And simultaneously principals’ leadership, achievement motivation, and compensation gives positive impact and is significant for junior high school teacher’s discipline in Bantul sub-district Bantul Regency. Effective contribution all together is  44.5%. Effective contribution individually of The headmaster’s leadership on the discipline teacher’s is 52.1%, The compensation on the discipline teacher’s is 28.3%, and the compensation on the discipline teacher’s is 19.5%  of the junior high school in Bantul District, Bantul Regency, Special Province of Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Penelitian  bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh praktik kerja industri, lingkungan keluarga dan minat kerja terhadap kesiapan kerja peserta didik kelas XII bidang keahlian bisnis dan manajemen SMK Negeri se-Kabupaten Sleman Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019. Jenis Jenis  penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi  penelitian sejumlah 732 sampel sebesar 288  berpedoman pada formula 10%-55% dengan metode claster random sampling kelas. Teknik pengambilan data dengan menggunakan  kuesioner.  Hasil penelitian  menunjukkan  terdapat pengaruh positif  yang signifikan praktik kerja industri, lingkungan keluarga dan minat kerja terhadap kesiapan kerja peserta didik kelas XII bidang kehlian bisnis dan manajeman SMK Negeri se-Kabupaten Sleman Tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 baik secara sendiri-sendiri maupun bersama-sama. Praktik kerja industri terhadap kesiapan kerja memberikan  sumbangan efektif sebesar  9,58% dan sumbangan relatif sebesar 47,84. Lingkungan keluarga terhadap kesiapan kerja memberikan  sumbangan efektif sebesar1,54% dan sumbangan relatif sebesar 7,69%. Minat Kerja terhadap kesiapan kerja memberikan sumbangan efektif sebesar 8,90%  dan sumbangan relatif sebesar 44,47%. Terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan praktik kerja industri, lingkungan keluarga dan minat kerja secara bersama terhadap kesiapan kerja peserta didik SMK, sumbangan efektif sebesar 19,2%. Effect of Industrial Work Practics, Family Environment, and Work Readiness Student in the Business and Management Skills of Vocational High Schools AbstractThe study aims to determine the effect of industrial work practices, family environment and work interest on work readiness of grade12 students in the field of business expertise and management of State Vocational Schools throughout Sleman Regency in the Academic Year 2018/2019. This type of research is quantitative. The population of this study was all students in grade 12 in the field of Business and Management expertise in the Vocational High School throughout Sleman Regency with a total of 732 samples of 288 by referring to the formula of 10% to 55% with the class claster random sampling method.Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The results showed that there were significant positive influences on industrial work practices, family environment and work interest in the work readiness of 12th grade students in the field of business and management of State Vocational Schools throughout Sleman Regency in the 2018/2019 school year both individually and jointly. Industrial work practices on work readiness make an effective contribution of 9.58% and relative contributions of 47.84. The family environment for work readiness makes an effective contribution of 1.54% and the relative contribution is 7.69%. Work interest in work readiness provides an effective contribution of 8.90% and relative contribution of 44.47%. There is a significant positive influence on industrial work practices, family environment and joint work interest on vocational readiness of vocational students, effective contribution of 19.2%.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the analysis of Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, Threat (in education can be interpreted challenge) in the implementation of QMS ISO 9001: 2008 in the Vocational High School Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta on 2013/2014 years in the element of planning (plan), implementation (do), evaluation (check) and follow-up (action) as a strategic move schools in continuous improvement efforts. This study used a qualitative approach, where the researcher as the key instrument. This study was conducted at Vocational High School   Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta in July 2013 - June 2014, the data source of this research is the principal, vice principal, team management and documentation. Data analysis using descriptive qualitative analysis, checking the validity of the data by triangulation with the source through in-depth interviews with other sources and focus group discussion and triangulation theory to the mandatory requirements of QMS ISO 9001: 2008. The results showed that the SWOT analysis in the implementation of QMS ISO 9001: 2008 in Vocational High School Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta in 2013/2014 at the stage of growth strategies that have a great opportunity and the power to evolve towards better. PDCA element of the implementation of QMS  ISO  9001:  2008 each have strengths,  weaknesses, opportunities and threats or challenges that can be utilized for continuous improvement efforts Vocational  High  School  Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta. The strategy must be based on a SWOT analysis is a concentration on the quality of learning, promotion and distribution of market expansion, product development (excellent program), horizontal integration, vertical integration,  concentric diversification, and conglomerate through.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan minat dan prestasi belajar berwirausaha pada siswa melalui penerapan metode pembelajaran aktif project-based learning, yang dilakukan pada siswa kelas XII Multimedia 1 berjumlah 40 siswa sebagai sasaran tindakan, dan guru mata pelajaran Prakarya Kewirausahaan sebagai peneliti. Tindakan kelas ini terdiri dari dua siklus dengan tiga pertemuan pada setiap siklusnya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan presentase yaitu menghitung keaktifan siswa dan nilai ketuntasan belajar tiap siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan minat dan prestasi belajar berwirausaha melalui metode pembelajaran project-based learning. Pada siklus I minat belajar berwirausaha yang ditunjukkan hasilnya sebesar 61,05 % dan terjadi peningkatan pada siklus II sebesar 72,11 %. Dan prestasi belajar siswa ditunjukkan pada siklus I sebesar 72,89 % yang mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II sebesar 83,85 %. AbstractThe purpose of this study was to increase the interest and learning achievement of entrepreneurship in students through the application of project based learning methods, which were conducted on students of class XII Multimedia 1 totaling 40 students as action targets, and Entrepreneurship Workshop subject teachers as researchers. This class action consists of two cycles with three meetings in each cycle. Data collection is done by observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis in this study uses quantitative descriptive analysis techniques with percentages, namely calculating student activity and the value of completeness learning each student. The results showed that the increase in interest and learning achievement of entrepreneurship through project based learning learning methods. In the first cycle, the entrepreneurship learning interest shown by the results was 61.05% and an increase in the second cycle was 72.11%. And student learning achievement is shown in the first cycle of 72.89% which experienced an increase in the second cycle of 83.85%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauhmana keberhasilan penyelenggaraan lima hari sekolah di SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak yang meliputi proses, kesiapan dan hambatan yang muncul. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian evaluatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan model CIPP (context, Input, Process, Product). Subjek penelitian adalah warga sekolah, terdiri dari 370 siswa, 27 guru dan 7 tata usaha. Metode pengambilan data dengan angket, wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: Penyelenggaraan lima hari sekolah di SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak tergolong berhasil, dengan rata-rata perolehan skor sebesar 2,87. Ditinjau dari dimensi kontek, input dan proses termasuk berhasil dengan rata-rata perolehan skor masing-masing sebesar 3,01, 2,84, dan 2,95. Sedangkan pada dimensi produk termasuk dalam kategori cukup, dengan rata-rata skor yang diperoleh sebesar 2,68. Hambatan selama proses penyelenggaraan lima hari sekolah berupa jumlah kantin dan staf TU belum mencukupi, serta guru yang belum bisa membawakan pembelajaran dengan kreatif dan menarik, sehingga berdampak pada kondisi fisik dan psikis siswa berupa rasa bosan, letih dan mengantuk. AbstractThis study aims to determine the extent of the successful implementation of five school days in Ngemplak 1 Senior High School which includes the processes, readiness, and obstacles that arise. This study belongs to the category of descriptive, evaluative research using the evaluation model of CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product). The study was conducted at Ngemplak 1 Senior High School which has 370 students, 27 teachers, and 7 staffs. Data was taken using techniques: questionnaires, interviews, documentation, and observation. The research data was then analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this study showed that the holding of five schools was successful, with an average score of 2.87. Judging from the dimensions of the context, inputs, and processes including the successful category with an average score of 3.01, 2.84, and 2.95 respectively. While the dimensions of the product are included in the sufficient category, with an average score of 2.68. Obstacles during the process of organizing five school days in the form of the number of canteens and education personnel that are still insufficient, and teachers who have not been able to bring learning creatively and attractively, which have an impact on both students' psychic and physical such as boredom, fatigue, and sleepiness.

Abstract

The Effect of Initial Ability, Character and Emotional Intelligence Values toward the Learning Achievement of Police Brigadier Education among Students of Selopamioro State Police School in Imogiri, Bantul in the 2013 Fiscal Year. Thesis: Graduate School of Education, Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa Wiyata Yogyakarta, 2014. This study aims to determine the effect of initial ability, character and emotional intelligence values toward the learning achievement of police brigadier education among students of SPN Selopamioro, Imogiri, Bantul. This study belongs to a correlative quantitative approach involving all 240 students of SPN Selopamioro as the population. Out of these, 148 students were chosen as the sample based on Krajcik and Morgan table. The findings indicate that there is a simultaneous and partial significant positive influence of initial ability, character and emotional intelligent values to the dependent variable of the learning achievement of students SPN formation Police Brigadier Selopamioro.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana guru mengukur nilai percaya diri, mengetahui bentuk instrumen pengukuran nilai percaya diri, dan mengetahui kecenderungan nilai percaya diri siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan sampel penelitian siswa kelas VII SMP. Teknik wawancara dan observasi digunakan untuk mengetahui bagaimana guru mengukur nilai percaya diri. Prosedur pengembangan instrumen yakni: model hipotetis; validasi ahli menggunakan teknik Delphi; revisi I; uji keterbacaan; revisi II; uji coba agak luas; revisi III; uji coba luas; instrumen final;dan implementasi instrumen final. Analisisnya yang dilakukan meliputi: validitas butir menggunakan analisis korelasi product moment; uji reliabilitas menggunakan formula Cronbach Alpha; validitas isi;  validitas konkuren; dan validitas konstruk menggunakan analisis faktor. Hasil penelitian: guru menggunakan jurnal  dalam  melakukan  pengukuran  nilai  percaya  diri  siswa, instrumen nilai percaya diri valid dan reliabel dengan 5 indikator memuat 37 butir pernyataan terdiri atas 19 butir valensi dan 18 butir faktual, dan kecenderungan nilai percaya diri siswa SMP Negeri 1 Bantul dalam kategori tinggi. AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine how the teachers measure the value of self-confidence, the form of the self-confidence value measuring instruments, and the tendency of students’ self-confidence value. The type of this research was research and development with VII grade students as the research sample. Interview and observation techniques were used to know how the teachers measure the self-confidence value. The instrument development procedures were: hypothetical models; expert judgement using the Delphi technique; revision I; legibility trial; revision II; more trial; revision III; comprehensive trial; final instrument; implementation of the final instrument. The analysis involves the validity of items using product-moment correlation analysis; reliability test using Cronbach Alpha formula; content validity; concurrent validity; and construct validity using factor analysis. The results of this research showed that teachers used journals in measuring of students' self-confidence value, instruments of self-confidence of valid and reliable with 5 indicators containing 37 items of statements, consisting of 19 valence items and 18 factual items, and the trends in students' self-confidence values of SMP N 1 Bantul related to mathematics subjects were in the high category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw,  untuk  meningkatkan motivasi, kreativitas  dan  prestasi belajar IPA-Fisika , apa kelebihan dan kelemahannya, serta bagaimana efektivitasnya yang dilaksanakan di kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Ngawen Gunungkidul tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw secara tepat dapat meningkatkan motivasi, kreativitas, dan prestasi belajar IPA-Fisika siswa kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Ngawen Gunungkidul tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw terbukti sangat efektif dalam upaya meningkatkan motivasi, kreativitas dan prestasi belajar siswa. AbstractThis study aims to find out how to implement jigsaw type cooperative learning model to increase student’s  motivation, creativity, and science learning achievement, its strengths and weaknesses, as well as its effectiveness when implemented in VIII Aclass at SMPN 1 Ngawen Gunungkidul academic year2014/2015.The results of the research showed that applying jigsaw type cooperative learning model could increase class VIII A  students motivation, kreativity, and achievement of Science- Physics learning at SMPN 1 Ngawen Gunungkidul academic year 2014/2015. Jigsaw type cooperative learning model was very effective in improving students motivation, creativity, and achievement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan media pembelajaran Magic Paper dapat meningkatkan rasa percaya diri dan prestasi belajar bahasa Inggris lisan. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelebihan dan kekurangan serta efektivitas penerapan media pembelajaran Magic Paper. Sebuah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus dan masing-masing siklus terdiri atas dua kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI.IPS-3 SMA Negeri 2 Purworejo Jawa Tengah Semester 2 tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 sebagai kelas eksperimen untuk menguji efektifitas penerapan media pembelajaran Magic Paper tehadap peningkatatan rasa percaya diri dan prestasi belajar berupa keterampilan Bahasa Inggris lisan pada materi ajar narrative jenis fable dan hortatory exposition. Kelas XI. IPS-2 ssebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data kuantitatif dengan presentasi sedangkan data kualitatif dengan observasi, angket, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data kualitatif menggunakan deskripsi analisis sedang analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan dengan Uji-t. Hasil penelitian membuktikan adanya selisih yang tinggi yaitu dari 7 atau 22,58% orang siswa pada siklus I, menjadi 24 atau 77,42% orang siswa memiliki rasa percaya diri tinggi pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran terdapat peningkatan keterampilan Bahasa Inggris lisan dari 31 orang siswa, 9 orang siswa atau 29,03% pada siklus I belum mencapai KKM, sedang 22 orang siswa atau 70,97% telah mencapai KKM. Sedang pada siklus II seluruh siswa sebanyak 31 atau 100% orang siswa telah mencapai KKM.  Utilization of medical learning medic paper to increase yourself believe and english skills of lisanAbstractThis study aims to determine whether the application of Magic Paper learning media can improve self-confidence and learning achievement of spoken English. This study also aims to determine the advantages and disadvantages and the effectiveness of the application of learning media of Magic Paper.A Classroom Action Research (CAR) with two cycles and each consists of two meetings. The subjects of this study are the students of class XI.IPS-3 SMA Negeri 2 Purworejo 2nd Semester of the year 2016/2017 as an experimental. It is used to test the effectiveness of the application of Magic Paper learning media to the self-confidence and learning achievement in the form of English speaking skills in teaching narrative materials fable type and hortatory exposition correspond with class XI.IPS-2 as a control class. Speech is used as quantitative data collection techniques while qualitative uses observation, questionnaires, and interviews. Qualitative data analysis technique uses descriptions analysis while quantitative data uses t-test. The result of the research shows that there is a high difference of 7 or 22.58% of students in cycle I, to 24 or 77.42% of students have high confidence in cycle II. Based on the measurement result, there are improvement of English speaking skill from 31 students, 9 students or 29,03% in cycle I have not reached KKM, while 22 students or 70,97% have reached KKM in cycle II. On the second cycle 31 students or 100% of have reached KKM.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian meliputi: (1) Untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya  kontribusi kemampuan mengajar guru, motivasi dan kedisiplinan secara bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa SMK. (2) Untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya kontribusi kemampuan mengajar guru secara parsial terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa SMK. 3) Untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya kontribusi motivasi belajar secara parsial terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa SMK; (4) Untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya kontribusi kedisiplinanan belajar secara parsial terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa SMK. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada SMK YPE Sawunggalih Kutoarjo. Populasi penelitian ini 122 siswa dengan sampel 90 siswa SMK. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi dan kuesioner. Uji prasyarat analisis menggunakan uji normalitas, uji linearitas dan uji multikolinearitas. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan: (1) Kemampuan mengajar guru, kedisiplinan siswa dan motivasi belajar siswa berkontribusi positif yang signifikan secara bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. (4) Motivasi belajar siswa berkontribusi positif secara parsial terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Contribution of teachers' ability, learning discipline, and learning motivation to mathematics learning achievement AbstractThe research objectives include: (1) To determine whether there is a contribution of teacher’s teaching abilities, students’ discipline, and learning motivation towards mathematics learning achievement (2) To find out whether there is a contribution of teacher teaching abilities partially to the mathematics learning achievement 3) To determine whether there is a partial’s contribution of learning motivation to mathematics learning achievement (4) To find out whether or not there is a contribution of students' discipline partially towards mathematics learning achievement. This research is quantitative research. The variables in this research were teacher’s teaching abilities, students’ discipline, learning motivation and learning achievement in mathematics. The research was conducted at YPE Sawunggalih Vocational School, Kutoarjo District. The population of this research was 122 students with a sample of 90 students. Data  collection methods used were documentation and questionnaires. Analysis prerequisite test using normality test, linearity test and multicollinearity test. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. The results of this research indicate: (1) The teacher’s teaching abilities, students’ discipline and learning motivation contribute significantly positive together to students’ learning achievement. (2) The teacher’s teaching abilities contributes significantly partial and positive to student learning achievement.  (3) Students’ discipline contributes partially positive to student learning achievement. (4) The learning motivation contributes partially positive to student learning achievement.
