Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan 1) proses pembelajaran dan pengajaran dalam pelajaran ilmu sosial dengan menggunakan pendekatan ilmiah dan model kooperatif tipe stick stick untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dan prestasi belajar dari pelajaran sains sosial kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 15 Yogyakarta, 2) kekuatan dan kelemahan pendekatan ilmiah dan model koperasi tipe stick stick untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dan prestasi belajar pelajaran ilmu sosial, dan 3) efektivitas penerapan pendekatan ilmiah dan model koperasi tipe stick berbicara untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi belajar siswa dalam pelajaran ilmu sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan ilmiah dan model kooperatif tipe stick dan masing - masing fase memiliki empat komponen berulang, yaitu perencanaan, implementasi, observasi, dan refleksi. Untuk mengumpulkan data, peneliti menggunakan beberapa teknik seperti observasi, tes tertulis, wawancara, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan ilmiah dan model koperasi tipe stick untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dan prestasi belajar mata pelajaran ilmu sosial. Skor motivasi belajar siswa dan prestasi belajar sains meningkat dari 89,65% pada siklus 1 sampai 100% pada siklus 2, sehingga kenaikan 75% terpenuhi. Prestasi belajar meningkat dari 60,9% pada hasil pre-cycle menjadi 79,31% pada posttest siklus 1 dan 86,21% pada siklus posttest 2. Peningkatan prestasi belajar dapat dilihat melalui skor pada siklus 1, dan 23 siswa. memenuhi kriteria nilai kelulusan minimum (79,31%) dan 25 siswa berprestasi dengan nilai kelulusan minimum (86,21%).AbstractThe objectives of this research are to describe 1) learning and teaching processes in the social sciences lesson using a scientific approach and a cooperative model of talking stick type to increase students’ motivation and learning achievement of the social sciences lesson in class VIII at SMP Negeri 15 Yogyakarta, 2) strengths and weaknesses of a scientific approach and cooperative model of talking stick type to increase students’ motivation and learning achievement the social sciences lesson, and 3) the effectiveness of applying a scientific approach and a cooperative model of talking stick type to increase students’ motivation and learning achievement in the social sciences lesson. This research uses a scientific approach, and a cooperative model of talking stick type and each of its phases has four repetitive components, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. To collect data, the researcher used several techniques such as observation, written test, interview, questionnaire and documentation. The research results show that the implementation of a scientific approach and cooperative model of talking stick type to increase students’ motivation and learning achievement of the social sciences lesson. The scores of students’ motivation and learning achievement of the social sciences increased from 89.65% in cycle 1 to 100% in cycles 2, so the increase of 75% was fulfilled. The learning achievement increased from 60.9% in the pre-cycle result to 79.31% in the post test of cycle 1 and 86.21% in the post test of cycle 2. The increase of learning achievement can be seen through scores in the cycle 1, and 23 students accomplished a criterion of minimum passing grade (79.31%) and 25 students accomplished a criterion of minimum passing grade (86.21%).

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) sejauh mana pengaruh kepemimpinan transformational, kesejahteraan,  dan  motivasi  secara  bersama-sama  terhadap  kepuasan  kerja  guru  SMP di  Rongkop Kabupaten Gunungkidul; (2) sejauh mana pengaruh kepemimpinan transformational terhadap kepuasan kerja guru SMP di Rongkop Kabupaten Gunungkidul; (3) sejauh mana pengaruh kesejahteraan terhadap kepuasan kerja guru SMP di Rongkop Kabupaten Gunungkidul; dan (4) sejauh mana pengaruh motivasi terhadap kepuasan kerja guru SMP di Rongkop Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Jenis pada penelitian ini adalah ex-post facto. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru di SMP di Rongkop Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Nomogram Kerry King. Sampel penelitian adalah 88 guru. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah metode angket. Instrumen penelitian adalah angket. Angket diuji validitasnya dengan menggunakan rumus korelasi Product Moment dan uji reliabilitasnya menggunakan Alpha Cronbach. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan uji regresi ganda tiga predictor yang didahului uji persyaratan analisis, yaitu uji normalitas, uji linieritas, uji multikolinearitas, dan uji interkorelasi. Pada penelitian ini, hipotesis pertama diuji dengan menggunakan F test, sedangkan hipotesis kedua, ketiga, dan keempat diuji dengan menggunakan t test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) berdasarkan tabel ANOVA, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan kepemimpinan transformational, kesejahteraan, dan motivasi secara bersama-sama terhadap kepuasan kerja guru SMP di Rongkop Kabupaten Gunungkidul diterima. (2) Berdasarkan hasil uji t, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan kepemimpinan transformational terhadap kepuasan kerja guru SMP di Rongkop Kabupaten Gunungkidul. (3) Ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan kesejahteraan terhadap kepuasan kerja guru SMP di Rongkop Kabupaten Gunungkidul. (4) Ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan motivasi terhadap kepuasan kerja guru SMP di Rongkop Kabupaten Gunungkidul.

Abstract

This research aims to know the role of headmaster in teaching management; curriculum management; workforce management; equipment management; financial management; student service; public relations, and school climate management, and the relation with school-based quality improvement’s management at SD Negeri Ngawen III Kecamatan Ngawen Kabupaten Gunungkidul. This research is a descriptive-analytic non-statistic research by using a qualitative approach. The data are obtained from informants consist of headmasters, teachers, students, and chairman of school committee from observation results and documents. The data are analyzed using interactive analysis through three activities that are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The data validity is obtained from the extension of participation and data triangulation. Generally, the role of headmaster in teaching management; curriculum management; workforce management; equipment management; financial management; student service; public relations, and school climate management, and the relation with school-based quality improvement’s management at SD Negeri Ngawen III Kecamatan Ngawen Kabupaten Gunungkidul are good implemented. Although there are temporary teachers with minimal welfare and unclear future career because of the wise leadership from the headmaster, the quality improvement’s management can work well.

Abstract

Penggunaan metode yang kurang tepat dapat menimbulkan kebosanan, sehingga siswa tidak termotivasi untuk belajar dan masih rendahnya hasil belajar IPS disebabkan oleh masih dominannya skill menghafal daripada skill memproses pemahaman sendiri. Adapun tujuan penelitian tindakan kelas untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT (Teams Games Tournament) dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas VIIIB SMP Negeri 26 Purworejo. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, tiap siklus terbagi dalam 4 kali pertemuan dan masing-masing siklusnya terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Dari hasil angket motivasi siklus I kepada 28 siswa diperoleh 21 siswa (75%) sangat termotivasi. Sedangkan pada siklus II diperoleh hasil 25 (89%) sangat termotivasi. Dari hasil postest siklus I dengan nilai KKM 74, yang tuntas sebanyak 57,1 % (16) siswa dan belum tuntas 12 siswa atau 42,9 %. Sedangkan hasil dari postest siklus II ada peningkatan, bahwa siswa yang mendapat nilai tuntas adalah 24 siswa (85,7%), dan belum tuntas 4 siswa (14,3%). Berdasarkan data siklus I dan siklus II sangat signifikan adanya kepuasan siswa terhadap pembelajaran kooperatiftipe TGT. The application of learning TGT to improve motivation and social result learning students of junior high school AbstractThe use of inappropriate methods can lead to boredom, and still low in Social learning results are caused by the still dominant skills of memorizing skills rather than processing their own understanding of a material.The aim of classroom action research is to know in two cycles how the application of cooperative learning model type TGT (Teams Games Tournament) can improve the motivation and learning 28 the students of outcomes IPS class VIIIB SMP Negeri 26 Purworejo.. This study was conducted with 2 cycles, each cycles is divided into four (4) consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. From the result of motivation questionnaire in the first cycle to 28 students, 21 students (75%) were highly motivated. While in the second cycle obtained the results of the questionnaire of motivation 25 (89%) have been highly motivated. From posttest in cycle I with KKM score 74, is 57,1% (16 students) and got score below is 12 student (42, 9%). While the results of postest cycle II, It is proved that the students who got the complete score is 24 students (85,7%), and the unfinished 4 students (14,3%). Based on the data of motivation and learning result from cycle I and cycle II are very significant and There is students' satisfaction on cooperativelearningTGT type.

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: (1) pelaksanakan pengukuran nilai komunikatif, (2) pengembangkan instrumen, (3) indikator-indikator dalam instrumen, (4) penyusunan kisi-kisi dan butir pernyataan instrumen, (5) validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen, (6) nilai komunikatif mata pelajaran kimia. Penelitian dilakukan di SMK N 2 Pengasihtahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Metode menggunakan penelitian dan pengembangan instrumen dengan subjek siswa kelas X. Pengumpulan data dengan kuesioner dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data hasil penerapan instrumen dengan teknik statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan: (1) penilaian sikap dengan observasi; (2) pengembangan instrumen melalui study literatur, observasi, penyusunan butir instrumen, uji keterbacaan, uji validitas dan reliabilitas; (3) indikator dalam instrumen nilai komunikatif sejumlah 13 indikator yang terbagi dalam 15 faktor; (4) kisi-kisi dan butir-butir pernyataan dibuat dengan studi literatur; (5) instrumen sebanyak 44 butir dengan tingkat reliabilitas 0,867 dan validitas konkuren teruji; (6) 85% siswa memiliki nilai komunikatif tinggi dan 15% siswa memiliki nilai komunikatif sedang. Terdapat perbedaan antara rata-rata nilai komunikatif wanita dengan pria. Development of communicative value instruments on chemical lesson AbstractThis study aims to: (1) implementation of measurements of communicative value; (2) developainstrument; (3) indicators in the instrument; (4) preparation of grids and items of statements of instruments; (5) validity and reliability of the instrument; (6) communicative value for chemistry subjects. The study was conducted in SMK N 2 Pengasih 2015/2016 academic year. The method is research and development of the instrument with the subject of class X students. Data collection with questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis technique result of application of instrument with descriptive statistic technique. The results that; (1) assessment of attitude with observation; (2) development of instruments through study of literature, observation, preparation of instrument items, test legibility, validity and reliability test; (3) indicators in the instrument of communicative value of 13 indicators divided into 15 factors; (4) grid and statement items made with literature study; (5) instruments of 44 items with a reliability level of 0.867 and validity of concurrency tested, 6) 85% of students have high communicative value and 15% have moderate communicative value. There is a difference between the average communicative value of womenand men.

Abstract

The effect of Parent’s care, Religion knowledge, and Teacher’s Figure to the Quality of Student’s Characteristic in SMP N 3 Sewon, Bantul in the Academic year of 2013/2014. Tesis. Yogyakarta: the Graduate Program, Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University of Yogyakarta. This research was aimed to know the effect of parent’s care, religion knowledge and teacher’s figure that wanted to improve the quality of student’s characteristic in SMP N 3 Sewon, Bantul in the Academic year of 2013/2014. The subject of this research was class IX, SMP N 3 Sewon, Bantul in the Academic year 2013/2014 that consist of 109 students. The sample was 84 students that were taken by proportional technique. The sample sum was decided by using sample decision table from Issac and Michael. The data collection used random sampling, questionnaire. It was tested by students of class IX in SMP N 3 Sewon. The first hypothesis test used double regression analysis, the second   hypothesis to forth hypothesis used partial correlation analysis. The result of this research show that (1) it can be found the positive effect that was significant parent’s care, religion knowledge and teacher’s figure to the quality of student’s characteristic in SMP N 3 Sewon, Bantul in the academic year of 2013/2014, if parent’s care, religious knowledge, and teachers' figure is hight so th quality of student’s characteristic is hight (2) it can be found the positive effect that is significant parent’s care to the quality of student’s characterictic in SMP N 3 Sewon, Bantul in the academic year of 2013/2014, if parent’s care is hight so the quality of student’s characteristic is hight, (3) it can be found the positive effect that is significant , religion knowledge to the quality of student’s characterisic in SMP N 3 Sewon, Bantul in the academic year of 2013/2014, if  religion knowlwdge is hight so the quality of student’s characteristic is hight,  (4) it can be found the positive effect that is significant teacher’s figure to the quality of student’s characteristic in SMP N 3 Sewon, bantul in the academic year of 2013/2014, if teacher’s figure is hight so quality of students characteristic is hight.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim to (1) describe the class management expertise in the field of fashion, especially with respect to educational facilities and infrastructure management, educational materials and teaching staff at SMK 6 Yogyakarta, (2) Describe the student work readiness skills program in fashion SMK N 6 Yogyakarta. This research is a case study using a qualitative approach. The location of this research will be carried out in school SMK Negeri 6 Yogyakarta. In the process of data collection, the researcher as the key instrument that directly goes into the field (class) through observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis that carried out in this study is a model Interaktive Analysis of Miles and Huberman. Based on the results of research conducted, it can be concluded, that (1) Class management at SMK N 6 Yogyakarta in conducting education in the field of fashion expertise can be considered good. It can be seen from the aspect of education facilities and infrastructure management, educational materials and teaching staff. (2) the student’s readiness to work at SMK N 6 Yogyakarta can be considered good. It can be seen from (a) the readiness of students in the field of education or professional, (b) student readiness and cooperation in the social field or relationships with others, and (c) the readiness of students in the field of psychological and personality or attitude. The readiness of the students’ work can be considered as a form of success of SMK N 6 Yogyakarta in conducting effective classroom management, according to the orientation of vocational education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengimplementasikan PBL dengan video untuk meningkatkan minat dan prestasi belajar matematika Kelas X MIPA 2 di SMAN 1 Minggir pada subte ma Eksponen dan Logaritma, 2) mengetahui kelebihan dan kekurangan pembelajaran PBL dengan video, dan 3) mengetahui efektifitas pelaksanaan PBL dengan video. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (CAR) yang dilakukan di kelas X MIPA 2, SMA Negeri 1 Minggir, Sleman, Yogyakarta pada semester pertama tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) penerapan PBL dengan video dapat meningkatkan minat belajar matematika, ditunjukkan oleh skor rata-rata 78,79%> 75%; dan peningkatan prestasi belajar matematika dari 27,27% pada siklus I menjadi 84,84% pada siklus II, 2) kekuatan penerapan PBL adalah dapat meningkatkan minat dan prestasi belajar, sedangkan kelemahannya hanya dapat diimplementasikan di antara siswa dengan motivasi tinggi, 3) Penerapan PBL dengan video merupakan cara yang efektif untuk meningkatkan minat dan prestasi belajar yang dapat dilihat pada tahap reaksi, tahap proses, tahap perilaku, dan tahap hasil. Dapat disimpulkan, penerapan PBL dengan video dapat meningkatkan minat dan prestasi belajar matematika kelas X MIPA 2 di SMAN 1 Minggir pada sub tema Eksponen dan Logaritma.  Implementation of the pbl model with videos to increase the interest and achievement of learning mathematics students of XMIPA 2 SMAN 1 Minggir on exponent learning and logaritma year 2016/2017 AbstractThis study aims at: 1) implementing PBL with video to increase the interest and math learning achievement of Grade X MIPA 2 at SMAN 1 Minggir on the sub theme of Exponents and Logarithms, 2) knowing the advantages and disanvantages of learning PBL with video, and 3) knowing the effectiveness of the implementation of PBL with video. This study is a classroom action research (CAR) which is conducted in Grade X MIPA 2, SMA Negeri 1 Minggir, Sleman, Yogyakarta in the first semester of the academic year of 2016/2017. The result of the study shows that: 1) implementing PBL with video can increase the interest in learning mathematics, indicated by an average score of 78.79% > 75%; and increasethe math learning achievementfrom 27.27% in the first cycle into 84.84% in the second cycle, 2) the strength of PBL implementation is that it can increase the interest and learning achievements, while the weakness of it is that it can only be implemented among the high motivated students, 3) implementing PBL with video is an effective way to increase the interest and learning achievements which can be seen at reaction stage, process stage, behavioral stage,and result stage. It can be concluded, implementing PBL with video can increase the interest and math learning achievement of Grade X MIPA 2 at SMAN 1 Minggir on the sub theme of Exponents and Logarithms.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) menjelaskan pengukuran sikap proaktif siswa yang dilakukan oleh guru SMA Negeri 1 Klirong Kebumen selama ini, (2) menjelaskan proses pengembangan instrumen pengukuran sikap proaktif, dan (3) menjelaskan hasil pengukuran sikap proaktif siswa SMA Negeri 1 Klirong Kebumen dengan mengunakan instrumen hasil penelitian pengembangan sikap proaktif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development instrumen pengukuran sikap proaktif berdasarkan model pengembangan Sugiyono.Uji coba terbatas oleh 7 siswa, uji coba agak luas oleh 35 siswa,uji coba luas oleh 234 siswa.Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa pengukuran sikap proaktif siswa belum menggunakan instrumen yang sudah teruji. Berdasarkan data hasil uji coba instrumen awal yang terdiri atas 44 butir pernyataan diperoleh instrumen final terdiri atas 39 butir yang semuanya memiliki korelasi antara skor butir dengan skor total > rtabel5%. Validitas konkuren sebesar 0,625 dengan signifikansi 0,000. Dengan analisis faktor diperoleh 11 faktor dengan nilai Determinant of Correlation Matrix 8,640x10-7, koefisien Kaiser Meyer Olkins sebesar 0,838, nilai Bartlett Test of Sphericity sebesar 3045,979 dengan signifikansi 0,000. Koefisien reliabilitas yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai Cronbach Alpha sebesar 0,894.Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa instrumen pengukuran sikap proaktif siswa SMA Negeri 1 Klirong Kebumen yang dikembangkan memiliki validitas butir, validitas konkuren, validitas konstrak dan reliabilitas yang baik.Dengan menggunakan instrumen final diperoleh hasil 28,02% kategori sangat tinggi, 58,94% kategori tinggi, 13,04% kategori sedang, 0% kategori rendah dan 0% kategori sangat rendah. Rata-rata tingkat proaktivitas siswa sebesar 119,13 (kategori tinggi).AbstractThe objectives of this research are (1) to explain the measurement of students’ proactive attitude done by the teacher of SMA 1 Klirong Kebumen, (2) to explain the process of proactive attitude measurement instrument development, and (3) to explain the result of students’ proactive attitude measurement at SMA Negeri 1 Klirong Kebumen by using the instrument of research result of proactive attitude development. This research applies Research and Development Method of proactive attitude measurement instrument based on the Sugiyono development model. The limited tryout by7 students, the extensive tryout by 35 students, and the extensive tryout by 234 students. Based on the result of the research, it is found that the measurement of students’ proactive attitude has not been used as the proven instrument. Based on the data result of the preliminary test consist of 44 instrument items got from the final instrument consists of 39 items, which all have a correlation between items score and total score > rtabel5%.The concurrency validity is 0,625 with 0,000 significance. By factor analysis, it’s got 11 factors with Determinant of Correlation Matrix 8,640x10-7, Kaiser Meyer Elkins coefficient 0,838, Bartlett Test of Sphericity 3045,979 with 0,000 significance. The reliability coefficient shown by Cronbach Alpha value is 0.894. In indicates that the measurement instrument of students’ proactive attitude at SMA Negeri 1 Klirong Kebumen has been developed has good items validity, concurrency validity, construction validity and reliability. By using final instrument, it’s obtained 28,02% of very high category, 58,94% high category, 13,04% medium category, 0% low category and 0% very low category.The average of students’ proactivity level is 119.13 (high category).

Abstract

The purposes of the research are to get clear descriptions of (1) the planning of classroom management, 2) the organizing classroom management, 3) the implementation of classroom management, 4) the conducting of classroom management, 5) the evaluation of the results of classroom management, 6) the efforts of the increasing of classroom management quality, and 7) the relationship between classroom management and the integrated Quality Management in SMP N 4 Semin Gunungkidul. The research method used is the descriptive qualitative approach; the choice of research resource persons is by using purposive sampling technique. In this research, the headmistress, teachers, office staff, students, school committees, students’ parents, and community as resources. The instrument in this research is the researcher himself as the key instrument. The data is collected by using interview, observation, and document review. The data were analyzed inductively, the analysis of data activity they are reduction data, the display data and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of this study have found several facts: first, the pattern of classroom management in SMP N 4 Semin Gunungkidul is like the perspective of Total Quality Management (TQM) in the school improvement and be able to answer the needs of learners because the learning models oriented focus in customer satisfaction those are students. Second, the classroom management in SMP N 4 Semin Gunungkidul in terms of planning , organizing, implementing , monitoring and evaluation , supervising and controlling the efforts of   improving the quality in good and excellent categories, because the classroom management needs all components of the school related to integration of management quality to reach the goal effectively and efficiently, while the integrated quality management to produce the quality according to the demands of society (customer satisfaction).
