Abstract

The aim of this research are to know (1) application of student learning Realistic Mathematical Education (RME) method (2) interest and achievement of mathematics study with student learning Realistic Mathematical Education (RME) and (3) the effectivity of student learning method Realistic Mathematical Education (RME) in increasing the interest and achievement of study the mathematics of student MTs Negeri Prembun grade VIII in Academic Year 2014/2015. The result of the research shows that the application of student learning Realistic Mathematical Education (RME) method can increase the interest and student’s result study on mathematics. The increasing of student’s interest in learning Mathematics can be seen from the increasing of all student’s interest score. The increase of 80% is fulfilled. The increasing of learning achievement was shown at pra cycles. There were 9 students who get mark more than passing grade (KKM), at first cyclus found 18 students (52,94%) who get mark more than passing grade (KKM), at second cyclus found 30 students (88,23%) who get mark more than passing grade (KKM).

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) dapat menghasilkan instrumen pengukuran nilai tanggung jawab siswa di SMK Negeri 1 Ambal, (2) dapat mengetahui proses pengembangan instrumen pengukuran nilai tanggung jawab siswa di SMK Negeri 1 Ambal, dan (3) dapat mengetahui sejauhmana kecenderungan tanggung jawab siswa SMK Negeri 1 Ambal. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan instrumen non-tes dengan metode research and development berdasar model Borg and Gall yang dimodifikasi. Instrumen ini diujicobakan pada 302 siswa SMK Negeri 1 Ambal terdiri atas 64 pernyataan yang dikelompokkan dalam 32 butir pernyataan valensi dan 32 butir pernyataan faktual. Dari hasil penelitian dihasilkan instrumen pengukuran nilai tanggung jawab siswa di SMK N 1 Ambal berupa 27 butir pernyataan valensi dan 26 butir pernyataan faktual. Dari 8 indikator terbentuk 7 indikator dengan validitas konstrak yang dihasilkan pada butir valensi berupa KMO sebesar 0,792 dan reliabilitas internal alpha 0,816. Pada butir pernyataan faktual dihasilkan KMO 0,770 dan koefisien reliabilitas alpha 0,804. Menggunakan metode konfirmatori dengan Maximum Likelihood dihasilkan kesesuaian goodness of fit test yang signifikan. Kecenderungan nilai tanggung jawab siswa di SMK Negeri 1 Ambal dengan 94,02% siswa memiliki nilai tanggung jawab yang tinggi dan 5,98% siswa memiliki tanggung jawab yang sedang. Sementara tidak ada siswa yang memiliki tanggung jawab yang rendah. The development of an instrument to measure on student responsibilities value  Abstract  The aims of this study are (1) produce instrument of responsibility value at Vocational State High Shool 1 of Ambal, (2) knew process to develop instrument of responsibility value at Vocational State High Shool 1 of Ambal, and (3) knew how responsible of student at Vocational State High Shool 1 of Ambal.This research is research instrument development non-test with the research and development based on the Borg & Gall development model. This instrument tried out to 302 Vocational High School Student 1 of Ambal consists of 64 statement that grouped in 32 statement a valence of grains and 32 grains of factual statement.From the result of trial test then conducted responsibilities value at SMK N 1 Ambal which have 27 items of valensi declaration and 26 items of factual declaration. From 8 indicator, successfully extracted into 7 indicator which conducted validity of valence statement has KMO at 0,792 and internal reliability alpha 0,816. From factual items conducted KMO at 0,770 and internal reliability alpha 0,804. Used confirmatory method successfully shown Maximum Likelihood produced high goodness of fit test that has significant result. The classifications of responsibility value of students at SMK Negeri 1 Ambal with the result 94,02% of learners have high responsibility and 5,98% learners had medium responsibility. While there are no learners who have a low responsibility.

Abstract

The research aims to understand : (1) the influence of teacher’s commitment, principal   managerial abilities and the role of public simultaneously on the effectiveness of education at special school in the first work area Sleman regency, (2) the influence of teacher’s commitment on the effectiveness of education at special school in the first work area Sleman regency, (3) the influence of principal managerial abilities on the effectiveness of education  at special school in the first work  area Sleman regency. (4) the influence of the role of public on the effectiveness of education at special school in the first work area  Sleman regency. The population of the research was whole of teachers in the first work area Sleman regency amounting to 100 teachers. Sampling in the study using technique of proportional random sampling of 87 teachers. The data collected by using questionnaires form which had been tested to the 30 teachers and had been qualified for validity by the pearson correlation technique and reliability requirement with alpha’s Cronbach technique. Data analysis techniques used were descriptive analysis, multiple regression and partial correlation, which was preceded by the prerequisite test analysis that was normality test, linearity test, and multicollinearity test. The results of this research show that 1) there is a positive and significant influence of the teacher’s commitment, principals managerial abilities and the role of public on the effectiveness of education  at special school in the first work area Sleman regency; 2) there is positive and significant influence of teacher’s commitment partially on the effectiveness of education at special school in the first work area Sleman regency; 3) there is positive and significant influence of principal managerial abilities partially on the effectiveness of education  at special school in the first work area Sleman regency, and 4) there is positive and significant  influence of the role of public partially on the effectiveness of education  at special school in the first work area Sleman Regency. Effective contribution jointly by 68.26%, while the contribution of partially effective: (1)  teacher commitment  to provide on the effectiveness of education by 20.09% (2)  principal managerial  abilities to provide the effectiveness of education by  25.50% and (3) the role of public to provide the effectiveness of education by 22.67%.

Abstract

The research is aimed to get an illustration about the learning management including (1) Planning, (2) Organizing, (3) Implementing, (4) Evaluation, (5) Identifying the obstacles faced, (6) Identifying the supporting power (7) knowing anything that has been done, is doing and will be done by school in order to improve the industrial need relevance in SMK N 2 Wonosari Automotive technology department, especially in industrial work practice. This research used a qualitative approach, the location of research was SMK Negeri 2 Wonosari as a school that has achieved in Gunungkidul Regency. The data collecting methods used in this research were observations, interview, and documentation. The source of data includes the headmaster, vice headmaster of curriculum, teacher, student, school committee, supervisor and automotive industry. The data analysis being used was qualitative analysis from Miles and Huberman. The result of this research shows that the illustration of learning management on automotive productive subject is not relevance with industrial need yet, is caused by the following reasons, they are: (1) composing the administration lesson is not considering the conten, planning the learning media is not fulfilled with the need of up date technology (2) organizing learning material is based on the structure of developed school curriculum program is not involving the industrial world (3) the implementation in learning is not the same with the qualification demanded by industrial world (4) in the learning evaluation, there are competences that have not been taught to the students before doing practices on industrial work (5) the obstacles faced in improving the industrial need relevance there is no industrial involvement in arranging the curriculum (6) supporting powers that is owned by school can not be used in the appropriate lab work implementation (7) the efforts that has been done, is doing and will be done by school to increase the relevance of learning to industrial need are (a) the effort has been done: being responsive toward the evaluation of industrial work practice (b) the effort is doing capturing information from industrial world (e) the effort that will be done that is inviting automotive industries to involve in composing the curriculum in school.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh sikap percaya diri terhadap prestasi belajar IPA.; (2) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap prestasi belajar IPA;(3)Untuk mengetahui pengaruh kedisiplinan belajar terhadap prestasi belajar IPA; (4) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh sikap percaya diri, kecerdasan emosional, dan kedisiplinan belajar secara bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajar IPA.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi dan angket.Untuk menguji hipotesis 1, 2 dan 3 digunakan model korelasi product moment. Sedangkan untuk menguji hipotesis keempat menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Ada pengaruh positif yang signifikan sikap percaya diri terhadap prestasi belajar IPA. (2) Ada pengaruh positif yang signifikan kecerdasan emosional terhadap prestasi belajar IPA. (3) Ada pengaruh positif yang signifikan kedisiplinan belajar terhadap prestasi belajar IPA. Data collection techniques use documentation and questionnaires. To test the hypotheses 1, 2 and 3 used the product moment correlation model. Meanwhile, to test the fourth hypothesis used multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that: (1) There is a significant positive influence of self-confidence on learning achievement of science. (2) There is a significant positive effect of emotional intelligence on the learning achievement of science. (3) There is a significant positive effect discipline of learning on the learning achievement of science. (4) There is a significant positive influence together with self-confidence, emotional intelligence, and discipline of learning toward science achievement

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) menyusun instrumen pengukuran nilai kerjasama, (2) untuk mengetahui indikator nilai kerjasama, (3) untuk mengetahui validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen nilai kerjasama, dan ( 4) untuk mengetahui nilai kerjasama siswa SMP Negeri 10 Purworejo. Prosedur pengembangan: (1) validasi ahli, (2) revisi I, (3) uji keterbacaan, (4) revisi II, (5) uji coba agak luas, (6) revisi III, (7)) implementasi instrumen. Analisis dilakukan: (1) validitas butir, (2) reliabilitas instrumen, dan (3) validitas konstruk. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Instrumen Pengukuran Nilai Kerjasama untuk Siswa SMP yang telah memenuhi validitas konten, butir dan konstruk. Hasil penelitian: (1) instrumen akhir terdiri dari 10 indikator yang terdiri dari 29 item yang valid, (2) koefisien reliabilitas instrumen akhir sebesar 0,710, (3) analisis deskriptif hasil penerapan instrumen menunjukkan bahwa nilai kerjasama antar siswa SMP Negeri 10 Purworejo termasuk kategori tinggi. The development of the instrument of measurenment the value of student cooperation AbstractThe objectives of this research are: (1) to compile the instrument of measuring the value of cooperation, (2) to know the value indicators of cooperation, (3) to know the validity and reliability of the instrument of cooperation value, and (4) to know the value of the cooperation of the students of SMP Negeri 10 Purworejo. Procedure of development: (1) expert validation, (2) revision I, (3) test legibility, (4) revision II, (5) trial rather broad, (6) revision III, (7) ) instrument implementation. Analysis performed: (1) grain validity, (2) instrument reliability, and (3) construct validity. The result of the research is a Measurement Instrument of Value of Cooperation for Junior High School Students who have fulfilled the validity of content, grain and construct. Result of research: (1) final instrument consists of 10 indicators consisting of 29 valid items, (2) the final instrument reliability coefficient of 0.710, (3) descriptive analysis of the result of instrument implementation showed that the value of cooperation among students of SMP Negeri 10 Purworejo included high category.

Abstract

The objective of this research to find out whether the influence of emotional intelligence, learning motivation and actions of students through learning achievement of mathematics, at Junior High School in the sub district of south Ternate 2013/2014.The population of this research is a lot of students in class VIII at Junior High School State 3 and Junior High School State 4 that a total number of 350 students whereas the sample of the students 172 be guided by table Nomogram Herry King. The king of this research is Correlative with the Quantitative approach which the character Ex post facto. The result of this research shows that whether the positive influence is significant of the emotional intelligence, learning motivation and a lot of students to attend together through learning achievement of the mathematics of the students of Junior High School State at south Ternate simultaneously and partial. It is mean that when there are three free variable that is emotional intelligence, learning motivation and a lot of students attend to simultaneous although the partial increase, so string variable of the students learning achievement so high on the contrary, when the three free variable to simultaneous although the partial to descent, so the students learning achievement is very low.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of: (1) academic supervision, participation in MGMP, and motivation to work together against the performance of SMK teachers in Kulon Progo, (2) the academic supervision against the performance of SMK teachers in Kulon Progo, (3) the participation in Teacher’s Group Discussion (MGMP) against the performance of SMK teachers in Kulon Progo, and (4) work motivation against the performance of SMK teachers in Kulon Progo. This study is an ex-post facto study using quantitative approach. The research was conducted at SMK in Kulon Progo Regency with a total population of 474 vocational high school teachers and samples were taken of 198 teachers by proportional random sampling. The data was collected by a questionnaire. The data processing techniques consist of 1) the classical assumption test which consists of normality test, linearity test and test multicollinearity test, 2) correlation analysis and 3) multiple regression analysis. The results of the study show that: (1) There is a significant positive influence of academic supervision, participation in MGMPs and work motivation on the SMK teacher’s performance in Kulon Progo. (2) There is a significant positive influence of academic supervision on the SMK teacher’s performance in Kulon Progo. (3) There is a significant positive influence of the participation in MGMP on the SMK teacher’s performance in Kulon Progo. (4) There is a significant positive influence of work motivation on the SMK teacher’s performance in Kulon Progo. These facts indicate that the higher or better academic supervision, participation in MGMP and work motivation results in the higher or better teacher’s performance, but otherwise the lower or worse academic supervision, participation in MGMP and work motivation results in the decrease of teacher’s performance produced. In maintaining the good teacher’s performance, the school should facilitate the implementation of academic supervision, active participation in MGMP and the teachers themselves are motivated to perform well.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan intrumen pengukur nilai kemandirian yang berkaitan dengan matematika untuk sekolah menengah atas kemudian diimplementasikan untuk melihat keefektifannya. Penelitian ini merupakan pengembangan instrumen. Uji Validasi yang dilakukan meliputi: Analisis validasi item dengan korelasi product moment, pertimbangan ahli, analisis teknik FGD dan Delphi, validitas konkuren, analisis validitas konstruk menggunakan analisis faktor. The cronbach alpha digunakan untuk uji realibility. Pada pengujian saya menggunakan 36 butir valensi dan 36 butir faktual yang digunakan. Pada percobaan I. Setelah menguji validitasnya, ada 17 item valensi yang jatuh rata-rata sementara tidak ada yang faktual Item yang gagal direvisi ke tahap II percobaan berikutnya. Uji coba fase II ini menggunakan butir pertama uji valid dan yang telah direvisi. Setelah dianalisis, ada 15 item valensi yang gagal dan 4 butir faktual yang gagal. Kriteria validasi bersamaan dipenuhi dengan hasil koefisien korelasi r xy = 0,755 dan 0,000 sig. Ada 12 valensi yang valid dan 9 faktual yang valid. Dari penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut, (1) Telah disusun seperangkat instrumen pengukuran independen yang berhubungan dengan matematika untuk siswa kelas X dengan tiga indikator, yaitu tidak ada kecurangan dalam melakukan 6 item tes formatif (2 item untuk valensi dan 4 item untuk faktual), tidak ada plagiating dalam mengumpulkan 4 item portofolio (semua instrumen adalah valensi) dan menerima hasil pengukuran kemandirian dengan menggunakan 10 poin (6 item valensi dan 4 butir faktual). (2) diperoleh indikator, cetak biru dan instrumen pengukuran kemandirian yang valid (3) diperoleh instrumen pengukuran kemandirian dan semua uji validitas yang diuji. (4) Terbukti tingkat Kemandirian peserta didik tinggi. Hal ini menimbulkan isu ilmiah baru yang menarik untuk diselidiki lebih lanjut. Development of responsible values installation measurement of mathematical eye lesson (Empirical study in SMA Negeri 1 Sleman) AbstractThe purpose of this study was to develop an instrument of self-reliance of math-related values for high school and then implemented to see its effectiveness. This research is an instrument development. Validation test conducted include: Analysis of item validation with product moment correlation, expert consideration, FGD and Delphi technique analysis, concurrency validity, construct validity analysis using factor analysis. The cronbach alpha is used for test realibility. In my test I used 36 grains of valence and 36 factual points used. In experiment I. After testing its validity, there are 17 items of valence that fall on average while there is no factual Item that fails to be revised to stage II of the next experiment. This phase II trial uses the first item of valid and revised test. Once analyzed, there are 15 failed valence items and 4 failed factual items. The concurrent validation criteria are satisfied with the results of the correlation coefficient r xy = 0.755 and 0.000 sig. There are 12 valid valid and valid 9 valid. From this research, it can be summed up as follows, (1) has been arranged set of instruments independent measurements related to mathematics for students of class X with three indicators, ie no cheating in the conduct of 6 items formative tests (2 items to the valence and 4 items for factual ), there is no plagiating in collecting 4 portfolio items (all instruments are valence) and receiving self-assessment results using 10 points (6 valence items and 4 factual items). (2) obtained indicator, blueprint and valid measurement instrument of independence (3) obtained instrument of independence measurement and all validity test tested. (4) Proven level of Independence of high learners. This raises an exciting new scientific issue for further investigation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengevaluasi kreativitas menulis cerita fantasi siswa SMP Negeri 2 Kalasan, (2) mengembangkan instrumen pengukuran kreativitas menulis cerita fantasi siswa SMP Negeri 2 Kalasan, dan (3) mengetahui hasil pengukuran tingkat kreativitas menulis cerita fantasi siswa SMP Negeri 2 Kalasan. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Negeri 2 Kalasan, Sleman, Yogyakarta, tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D). Sebagai langkah awal, draft model instrumen disusun berdasarkan teori dan data empirik lapangan dengan 6 indikator yang divalidasi oleh expert judment. Uji coba terbatas dilakukan pada 16 siswa kelas 7A menggunakan angket dengan jumlah 48 butir pernyataan. Setelah direvisi kemudian diujicoba agak luas kepada 32 siswa kelas 7B. Analisis validitas butir menggunakan rumus product moment diperoleh sebanyak 40 butir valid. Koefisien reliabilitas instrumen valensi sebesar 0,848, koefisien reliabilitas instrumen faktual sebesar 0,887 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kedua instrumen dinyatakan reliabel. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji coba empirik lebih luas kepada 158 siswa. Hasil uji coba empirik ini berupa validitas konstruk. Validitas konstruk dilakukan dengan analisis faktor. Uji validitas konstruk menghasilkan instrumen valensi yang valid 17 butir dengan nilai KMO 0,759, dan nilai reliabilitas 0,795, butir instrumen faktual yang valid 19 butir, dengan nilai KMO 0,785, dan nilai reliabilitas 0,813, nilai reliabilitas total 0,874.dan membentuk 6 faktor dan diberi nama baru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kreativitas menulis cerita fantasi siswa kelas 7 SMP Negeri 2 Kalasan, diperoleh skor rerata sebesar 112,28. Nilai rata-rata kreativitas menulis cerita fantasi siswa putri lebih tinggi yaitu mencapai 115,46, dibandingkan siswa laki-laki yang mencapai nilai 112,88.This study aims to: (1) evaluate the creativity of writing fantasy story of SMP Negeri 2 Kalasan, (2) develop the measurement instrument of creativity to write fantasy story of SMP Negeri 2 Kalasan students, and (3) to know the result of the level of creativity to write fantasy story of SMP Negeri 2 Kalasan. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Kalasan, Sleman, Yogyakarta, academic year 2016/2017. This type of research is Research and Development (R & D). As a first step, the draft instrument model is based on theory and empirical field data with 6 indicators validated by expert judment. A limited trial was conducted on 16 students of grade 7A using a questionnaire with a total of 48 items of statement. After being revised and then tested rather broadly to 32 students of grade 7B. Analysis of the validity of the grains using product moment formula obtained as many as 40 items valid. Valent instrument reliability coefficient of 0.848, the reliability coefficient of factual instrument of 0.887 so it can be concluded that both instruments are declared reliable. Furthermore, empirical test more widely to 158 students. The results of this empirical test in the form of construct validity. The validity of the constructs is done by factor analysis. The validity test of the construct produces a valid valence instrument of 17 items with a KMO value of 0.759, and a reliability value of 0.795, valid factual item 19 grains, with a KMO value of 0.785, and a reliability value of 0.813, a total reliability value of 0.874.dan forming 6 factors and is named new. The results showed that the creativity of writing the fantasy story of seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Kalasan, obtained an average score of 112.28. The average value of creativity writing fantasy story of female students is higher that reach 115,46, compared to male student which reach value 112,88.
