Abstract

This study aims to analyze the patterns of informal economic education in the coastal fishing community of Puger, Puger District, Jember Regency, integrated into the Petik Laut local wisdom. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through in-depth interviews with 25 informants, six months of participatory observation, and documentation studies. The Miles and Huberman interactive model was employed for data analysis. The findings identify four patterns of informal economic education: (1) economic gratitude education (nyadheren rejeki); (2) economic mutual cooperation education (saling bantu); (3) local entrepreneurship education based on marine product processing; and (4) maritime economic sustainability education (sagara panguripan). Value transfer occurred through role modeling, habituation, and direct participation. The Petik Laut local wisdom functions as a hidden curriculum that shapes economic awareness, basic financial literacy, maritime work ethic, and sustainable economic behavior among the Puger fishing community.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of ICT-based learning media, namely Canva, Doratoon, and Quizizz, on students’ learning outcomes in the Government Institution Accounting subject. The study was motivated by low student learning outcomes and the limited use of interactive ICT-based learning media in the learning process. This research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. The population consisted of 106 students of Grade XI Accounting and Institutional Finance at SMK Negeri 1 Demak, with a sample of 70 students divided into experimental and control classes. Data collection techniques were conducted through pretest and posttest instruments. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and Mann-Whitney U Test. The results showed that the experimental class experienced a higher increase in learning outcomes compared to the control class. Hypothesis testing obtained a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating a significant difference between the two classes. Therefore, the use of ICT-based learning media was proven effective in improving students’ learning outcomes in Government Institution Accounting learning.

Abstract

This study investigated the factors influencing students' decisions to pursue an economics education program. The research focused on the desire to become a teacher, family environment, and career potential. The study employed quantitative and survey methods. Random sampling was used to select a sample of 61 students. The researchers used a Likert-scale questionnaire to collect data and then used multiple linear regression to analyze it. The analysis showed that family environment significantly influenced students' decisions, with a t-value of 2.217 and a significance level of 0.030. Job prospects also showed a significant influence, with a t-value of 2.956 and a significance level of 0.004. With an F-value of 136.726 and a significance level of less than 0.001, all three variables significantly influenced students' decisions. A strong relationship between the study variables is indicated by a correlation coefficient of 0.932. These findings suggest that internal factors and considerations of future employment influence students' decisions.

Abstract

The development of Islamic banking digitalization has encouraged the emergence of application-based financing services, one of which is gold installment financing through the BYOND by BSI application. This product uses a murabahah contract as the sale and purchase agreement and a rahn contract as collateral for financing. This study aims to analyze the implementation of murabahah and rahn contracts in gold installment financing through the BYOND BSI application at BSI KCP Manukan and their compliance with sharia principles and the DSN-MUI fatwa. The study used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that the practice of gold installment financing through the BYOND BSI application is in accordance with sharia principles, both in pricing, profit margins, and the use of gold as collateral for financing. In addition to providing easy access to services, the digital system at BYOND BSI still applies the principles of transparency and certainty of contracts in sharia transactions.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically examine the role of learning by doing in entrepreneurship education in enhancing vocational high school students’ entrepreneurial interest through a literature study. The research method employed is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the PRISMA protocol, in which data were collected from accredited journal databases (SINTA) published between 2021 and 2025 and analyzed using descriptive qualitative synthesis techniques. The findings indicate that practice-based learning approaches, such as Teaching Factory (TeFa) and project-based learning, significantly bridge the gap between theory and market realities, enhance students’ self-efficacy, and strengthen their entrepreneurial intentions. However, challenges such as limited facilities, teachers’ readiness, and unsystematic curriculum implementation remain obstacles in creating authentic learning experiences. Overall, this study confirms that experience-based learning innovation serves as a fundamental foundation for producing competitive and independent vocational school graduates in the digital economy era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Transformational Leadership, Workplace Incivility, and Job Anxiety on Employee Innovative Work Behavior at PT Madu Baru Madukismo. A causal descriptive quantitative approach was applied in this study through a survey method. Data collection was carried out by distributing a structured questionnaire to all employees totaling one hundred people using saturated sampling or census techniques. Furthermore, the primary data collected was analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of the study show that Transformational Leadership has a positive and significant effect on Innovative Work Behavior. These findings confirm that inspirational and supportive leaders are effective in spurring employee courage in promoting and realizing creative ideas. On the other hand, Workplace Incivility was shown to have no significant effect on Innovative Work Behavior, which indicates that there is an internal adaptation mechanism for employees so that work incivility does not directly kill creativity. Meanwhile, the Job Anxiety variable uniquely showed a positive and significant influence on Innovative Work Behavior. This indicates that work anxiety to a certain extent acts as a functional trigger that encourages employees to proactively seek breakthrough solutions to mitigate task pressure. Implicitly, organizations are advised to combine strengthening transformational leadership with managing employee anxiety wisely to maintain the sustainability of innovation

Abstract

This paper seeks to analyze factors, theoretical foundations, and research gaps in green entrepreneurial intention (GEI) through a Systematic Literature Review based on PRISMA. Data were drawn from 25 publication of scientific articles in Scopus-indexed journals during the 2020-2025 period and selected through the stages of identification, screening, eligibility assessment, and inclusion. Analytical results from this research reveal that GEI is influenced by individual factors, such as attitudes, perceived behavioral control, self-efficacy, and environmental awareness. Additionally, entrepreneurship education and institutional support also contribute to strengthening green entrepreneurial intent. The Theory of Planned Behavior stands as the most prominently utilized framework in GEI research. However, some studies have combined it with other theories such as the Resource Based View, Social Cognitive Theory, and Value Belief Norm to enhance the model’s ability to explain the phenomenon. This review also identifies research gaps, including the dominance of TPB usage, limitations in contextual and cultural studies, and the scarcity of research linking green entrepreneurial intentions to actual behavior. Therefore, this study contributes through a comprehensive literature synthesis and offers a future research agenda involving the development of an integrative theoretical model and more diverse methodological approaches to support sustainable entrepreneurship.

Abstract

This study explores how independent oil palm farmers narrate production costs, fresh fruit bunch (FFB) selling prices, and household economic resilience in Bambalamotu Village, Pasangkayu Regency. A qualitative narrative design with a phenomenological orientation was used to capture farmers' lived experiences rather than to measure economic variables statistically. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving two independent oil palm farmers and two family members who participate in household economic decision-making. The data were analyzed through reduction, thematic categorization, and meaning interpretation. The findings show that rising production costs are experienced not only as operational expenses but also as pressures that reshape household priorities. FFB prices function as the main reference for planning family expenditures, yet price fluctuations create uncertainty because farmers must pay for fertilizer, labor, maintenance, and transport before income is secured. Farmers respond by postponing non-urgent spending, using family labor, organizing collective harvesting arrangements, and diversifying income through other agricultural activities. The novelty of this study lies in showing that independent farmers use cost and price information as informal management accounting knowledge, even without formal records. These findings extend smallholder livelihood and management accounting literature by positioning farmers as active interpreters of economic information and household survival strategies.

Abstract

Concept understanding is an essential competency in Social Studies learning that supports students in comprehending and applying learning materials. However, preliminary observations at SMP Negeri 3 Pagerwojo revealed that students’ conceptual understanding remained low. This study aimed to analyze the effects of digital literacy-based learning and reading literacy-based learning on students’ conceptual understanding and to compare the effectiveness of both approaches. The research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample consisted of two classes: Class IX A received digital literacy-based learning, while Class IX B received reading literacy-based learning. Data were collected through pretests and posttests measuring students’ conceptual understanding. The data were analyzed using validity, reliability, normality, homogeneity, Independent Sample t-test and N-Gain analyses. The findings indicated that both digital literacy-based learning and reading literacy-based learning significantly affected students’ conceptual understanding. The average posttest score of the digital literacy class was 79.52, while that of the reading literacy class was 85.81. The hypothesis test showed a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating a significant difference between the two learning approaches. Reading literacy-based learning was found to be more effective than digital literacy-based learning in improving students’ conceptual understanding in Social Studie.
