Abstract

Strengthening entrepreneurship education at the high school (SMA/SMK) and university levels requires an approach that integrates theory with real-world practice. However, many students still struggle to fully understand business strategies due to limited hands-on experience and a lack of access to contextual business simulations. This study aims to develop a prototype of a learning application for entrepreneurship education called Business Course, which is based on case study simulations and decision-making scenarios. The application is designed to help users understand the dynamics of the business world through simple virtual scenarios that reflect real challenges in various types of enterprises, such as trade, services, culinary, and agriculture. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, and the development has currently reached the prototyping phase using Figma. Initial results indicate that the design of features and simulation flow allows users to identify problems, choose alternative solutions, and evaluate their impacts on business performance in a virtual setting. This application is expected to serve as an alternative, practical, and contextual learning medium that supports learning outcomes in entrepreneurship curricula. The research will continue with a testing phase to measure the effectiveness of the application in improving entrepreneurial competencies

Abstract

This study aims to critically examine the structural barriers limiting product innovation in Indonesia’s Islamic banking sector. Employing a qualitative method through a literature-based approach, this study analyzes academic publications, regulatory documents, and industry reports related to innovation in Islamic finance. The findings identify four major categories of challenges: regulatory complexity and Shariah compliance, limited human capital capabilities, slow digital transformation, and weak collaboration among academics, regulators, and industry actors. These factors interact and form a systemic structural hindrance to the innovation process. The study recommends regulatory reform grounded in maqashid al-shari’ah, capacity-building of human resources, digital adoption aligned with Islamic values, and the development of a sustainable, collaborative ecosystem. This research contributes to the discourse on strengthening Islamic financial innovation through an integrative and context-responsive framework

Abstract

The ongoing digital transformation presents vast opportunities for Indonesian MSMEs, particularly santripreneurs within pesantren, to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into their marketing strategies. This study explores how entrepreneurial self-efficacy (ESE) strengthens the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) in the adoption of AI-based marketing. Employing a quantitative design, data were gathered from 375 student santripreneurs across five Islamic cities in East Java and analyzed using SEM-PLS. The results indicate that ESE exerts a positive effect on perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness, which subsequently enhance attitudes and adoption intentions. These findings underscore ESE’s significance as an external construct enriching the classical TAM. The study extends TAM within the pesantren entrepreneurship context and offers practical insights for promoting digital literacy training and ecosystem collaboration to accelerate AI adoption among santripreneurs

Abstract

Educational quality in rural Indonesia faces challenges due to limited resources and teacher welfare concerns. This study analyzes the role of job well-being in strengthening the relationship between Person-Job Fit and Perceived Organizational Support with teachers' occupational commitment in rural areas. A quantitative survey method with saturated sampling was employed (census), involving 52 public junior high school teachers in Samigaluh, Kulon Progo. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using SEM with Partial Least Squares (PLS) via SmartPLS 4.0. Results indicate that PJF has significant positive effects on both job well-being (β=0.555, p<0.001) and occupational commitment (β=0.385, p<0.001), directly and indirectly through job well-being (β=0.271, p=0.005). POS significantly influences job well-being (β=0.397, p=0.001) but does not directly affect occupational commitment (β=0.043, p=0.683). However, POS indirectly affects occupational commitment when mediated by job well-being (β=0.188, p=0.025). Job well-being serves as a crucial mediating mechanism. School management should prioritize proper teacher placement and provide tangible organizational support to enhance teacher welfare for building long-term occupational commitment

Abstract

Human Development Index (HDI) is an important indicator to measure the quality of human development in a region. However, there is still a gap between economic growth and unemployment to HDI in several regions, including Sampang Regency. This study aims to analyze the influence of economic growth and unemployment on HDI in Sampang Regency, East Java during the period 2021 – 2024. This study uses secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), and is analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of the study show that economic growth has a negative value and has no effect on HDI. This shows that the increase in economic growth in Sampang Regency is not automatically followed by an improvement in the quality of human development. The unemployment variable has a negative value and affects HDI, which shows that if unemployment decreases, many of the workforce already have jobs so that they can improve their quality of life which will later increase HDI. Simultaneously, these two variables affect HDI in Sampang Regency. Based on these findings, policies are needed that encourage equitable development, job expansion, and improve the quality of education and health services so that welfare can be felt by all levels of society.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how Islamic spirituality shapes managerial accountability within Islamic philanthropic organizations, with a focus on Sahabat Yatim Foundation, Makassar Branch. Using a qualitative interpretive approach, the research investigates the meaning of spirituality in the management of zakat, infak, and sadaqah funds through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the four prophetic values siddiq (honesty), amanah (responsibility), tabligh (transparency), and fathanah (wisdom)serve as moral foundations that shape managerial consciousness and ethical behavior among organizational actors. These values operate not only as individual moral guides but also as embedded cultural principles that influence financial reporting, monitoring systems, organizational communication, and strategic decision-making. The integration of spirituality with digital transparency practices, particularly the implementation of an e-reporting system, strengthens public trust and enhances the institution’s moral and social legitimacy. The study concludes that accountability in Islamic philanthropy is not merely an administrative obligation but a manifestation of spiritual awareness and religious commitment to safeguarding public trust and managing communal funds with integrity. This research contributes to the theoretical development of spirituality-based accountability and offers practical implications for improving governance practices in Islamic philanthropic institutions in the digital era.

Abstract

The rapid penetration of technological developments has changed the landscape of Indonesia's economy towards a digital economy and financial technology (fintech), including Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) which continue to face classic problems such as funding, digital marketing, and even financial management that hinder business growth. This study aims to identify the factors influencing the intention of MSMEs to adopt fintech services in Pontianak, West Kalimantan. The research design uses a quantitative approach where data was distributed through questionnaires to 245 MSME traders and analyzed using the Smart PLS-SEM (Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling) model by combining two well-known theories in predicting individual behavior and technology acceptance, namely the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). The results show that Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU) and Perceived Usefulness (PU) have a significant effect on Attitude Toward Behavior (ATB). Similarly, Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU) and Attitude Toward Behavior (ATB) influence Behavioral Intention (BI). Conversely, Perceived Usefulness (PU), Trust (T), and Social Influence (SI) did not significantly influence Behavioral Intention (BI). This study implies the need for collaboration between regulators (OJK) and all stakeholders, including MSMEs, to improve financial literacy by continuing to educate them about fintech products and services. The hope is that MSMEs can integrate with fintech not only in financing but also in scaling up their businesses, finances, human resources, and other areas.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the quality of training programs, organizational support, and innovative culture contribute to improving the competence of trainees at BPTT Darman Prasetyo PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero). A quantitative approach was used, involving 97 respondents as research samples. The research instruments were first evaluated through validity and reliability tests to ensure the accuracy and consistency of the measurements. The next stage included a series of classical tests for normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity to ensure that the analysis model met the relevant statistical requirements. After all analyses were completed, linear multiple regression was applied to identify and measure the contribution of each variable to the improvement of participants' competencies. The results of the analysis show that organizational support has a positive and significant effect on strengthening competency. The quality of the training program and innovative culture also show a positive effect, but have not yet reached a level of significance in terms of competency. The findings of this study confirm that adequate organizational support is a dominant element in encouraging an increase in the competency of training participants.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the fact that the learning model currently being used has not contributed to the learning outcomes of eighth grade students. Specifically, when students study social studies, they have not maximized their ability to express ideas to solve problems through analytical questions. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the problem-based learning (PBL) model on the learning outcomes of eighth-grade students at MTs An Najahiyyah in the 2025/2026 academic year. The experimental research method with Paired Sample t-test analysis was used to measure the difference in the effect of a treatment on the same sample, namely eighth grade with 33 students. Data collection was conducted through observation and tests. The instruments were tested for validity and reliability. From the results of the Paired Sample t-test analysis, the tcount value was > than the ttable, namely 8.120 > 2.021, and the significance value was < than alpha 5% (0.000 < 0.05), so it can be said that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. This shows that there is an effect of the problem-based learning (PBL) model on the learning outcomes of eighth-grade students at MTs An Najahiyyah in the 2025/2026 academic year. Referring to these results, the use of the PBL model is in line with its advantages, namely that PBL directly trains students to solve problems, both those in the subject matter and those relevant to real life
