Abstract

This study aims to determine how to develop a Higher Order Thinking Skills/ HOTS based question bank in elementary schools and to find out the results of developing a HOTS-based question bank. This research is a research and development (research and development). The method used in this research is to refer to the 4D learning model by Thiagarajan, Semmel and Semmel which consists of 4 stages of development, namely defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The item validation sheet is used to determine the validity of the product. Based on the results of the quantitative analysis of HOTS items, it shows that out of 100 items, 90 items are eligible to be included in the question bank by obtaining data from the validation results of the expert team of 0.75 (high criteria), reliability of 0.90 (very high criteria), the mean differe nce of each is 0, 6 (good criteria), and the average level of difficulty is 0.4 (moderate criteria).

Abstract

Application of Scientific Approach in Primary Schools. The rationale for this research is the discovery of problems related to the low ability of students to present report texts based on observations. based on these problems offered a solution that is the use of a scientific approach, which approach has a characteristic that is a series of processes or stages in learning that must be passed by students. the use of this approach is considered effective to provide solutions to the problems encountered. This approach was chosen because of the recommendations of previous studies. The purpose of this study is to describe the effectiveness of the use of scientific approaches in elementary schools. this type of research is qualitative with descriptive methods. The results showed that the use of a scientific approach in learning can be said to be effective. This can be seen in students' progress in preparing reports based on observations. in addition, students follow well the stages of the scientific approach in learning.

Abstract

This study is research and development. This study aims to describe the procedure of picture story development based character value as support literacy in SDN 3 Teros. This study used Borg and Gall development which divided into seven stages those were analysis of need, planning, product development, limited test, revise of product result, main product testing, and revise last product. The instrument of this study was interview sheet and questionnaire. The interview was used to conduct analysis of need, while the questionnaire was used to validate product and observe students towards picture story book which was developed by researcher. The result showed that linguist “4.5”, media expert “4.7”, practicality assessment “4.1” and the result of questionnaire “4.4”. Based on the data which was developed by the researcher was “appropriate” with the score from “4.1-4.7”. It can be concluded that the product can be used as reading resources to support literacy community in SDN 3 Teros in academic year 2020/2021.

Abstract

Internalization of Character Values through Scout Extracurricular Activities (Case Study at SDK Wae Kajong). Humans with good character are the product of an educational process. Both formal and non-formal education. One of the formal education institutions that tries to produce with good character is basic education. One of the activities in basic education institutions, especially in elementary schools, which is full of internalization of good character values, is scouting extra-curricular activities. The purpose of this study was to describe the character values ​​that were developed and internalized through scout extracurricular activities at SDK Wae Kajong. This research is a qualitative research, case study design. The data sources of this research were human and non-human data sources. The collection techniques used were: (1) in-depth interviews, (2) observation, and (3) documentation study. The key instrument in this study is the researcher himself. Data were analyzed in three sub-processes, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. To ensure the validity and credibility of the data, the researchers examined the data by using triangulation of techniques and sources. The results showed that the values are fostered and lived through the scouts, in SDK Wae Kajong is confident, creative, conscientious, cooperative, communicative, dialogue, solution thinking, caring for nature, respect for others, self-contained, low liver, tolerant, strong, simple, solider, disciplined, neat, polite, agile, responsibility, leadership, self-control, to hear right of others, concentration, obey the rules, and curious .

Abstract

This research was conducted to produce class III Thematic learning tools with discovery learning nuances, as well as to see the level of quality of the LKPD, RPP, and Katar media were developed. This type of research includes Research and Development with the ADDIE development model which includes needs analysis, product design, product development, product implementation, and evaluation. Data collection techniques include the expert judgment of product feasibility and practitioner judgment. The data collection instrument included an expert judgment assessment sheet consisting of linguists, media, materials, and learning. The data analysis used was descriptive qualitative by converting the expert assessment score into the feasibility category. This research produces thematic learning tools consisting of LKPD, RPP, and Katar Media with a discovery learning approach to the theme of 3 objects around me for Class III SD. Based on the results of the assessment of the product developed, it is known that the results of the assessment from material experts obtained an empirical score of 75, learning experts obtained an empirical score of 69, media experts obtained an empirical score of 83 and linguists obtained a score of 63 with the criteria of the product category being good. Overall the products developed are in the good feasibility category

Abstract

The rapid increase in the number of cases of people exposed to Covid-19 has led the government to implement various policies. In the field of education, the government provides a policy for implementing online learning or distance learning to support the continuity of the education process during the Covid-19 pandemic. However, the implementation of this policy is certainly not easily accepted by various parties involved in it, especially students at the elementary school level. Therefore, this study aims to determine the development of learning independence for elementary school students while participating in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This article is compiled by conducting a literature study of scientific articles, books, and various other reading sources that are relevant to online learning and independent learning of elementary school students. The results of the study show that the implementation of student-centered learning online encourages students to always participate actively in every learning activity and develop their learning independence. Even though during online learning, students tend to feel bored, disobey when taught by parents, and do not yet have the initiative of their own to learn. However, online learning has also succeeded in building students' visual learning styles well, improving literacy, increasing self-confidence and a sense of responsibility for primary school students. Thus, the application of online learning is considered effective in breaking the chain of spreading Covid-19 and creating independent learning for elementary school students.

Abstract

Abstract : Madrasas are general educational institutions characterized by Islam. In addition to having a goal to form intelligent students, Madrasas also have a humanitarian mission. Inclusive Education in Madrasas exists as a form of instilling humanist and religious characters. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of multicultural inclusive Islamic education in forming religious humanist students in Class VI MIN 2 Gunungkidul. The method used in this research is a case study with the results of the study showing that (1) MIN 2 Gunungkidul has been an inclusive school since 2015 and in implementing inclusive education in class VI the learning process is carried out by not separating inclusive students from general students by means of teachers interacting with each other. collaborate in helping inclusive students learn (2)Before the Covid-19 inclusive learning was held in the classroom and after the Covid-19 the school had a home visit program that aims for teachers to help inclusive students learn (3) The implementation of religious humanism in Class VI is seen with There are several programs carried out by schools that aim to foster a tolerant character, namely reciting and reading Asmaul Husna, performing Duha prayers, holding activities on Islamic holidays, getting used to 5S, and doing social services to the surrounding community. Abstract

Canva as a Science Learning Media to Heat Transfer Material in Elementary School. This article is formulated as the development of learning media in elementary schools, this is motivated by the lack of variety of learning media by utilizing current technological developments. This study uses a development research method with a descriptive approach based on the relevant literature. The development of this learning media is aimed at the subject of Natural Sciences (IPA), especially on the material of heat transfer. The purpose of developing this learning media is so that students learn according to their developmental stages, elementary school students are at the concrete operational stage. This stage is the third stage based on the stage of cognitive development according to Piaget. At this stage the child needs a concrete object or a habit of learning. Using Canva as a learning medium can make it easier for teachers in teaching and learning activities. Learning materials can be animated using the features available in Canva. Thus, students can learn with concrete objects in the form of animations in the science subjects of heat transfer material.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Metode Complete Sentence Berbantuan Media Gambar Terhadap Keterampilan Menulis Siswa Kelas III SDN 01 Korleko Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain One-Group Pretest-Postest. subjek penelitian ini seluruh kelas III dengan jumlah 21 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan tes tulis berbentuk essay dengan jumlah 5 soal. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data dalam keterampilan menulis siswa sebelum diberikan perlakuan (pre test) memperoleh nilai rata-rata 57,6, sedangkan nilai rata-rata setelah diberikan perlakuan (post test) 72,6. Untuk uji normalitas digunakan rumus chi-kuadrat hasil pretest adalah X2hitung pretest = 6,466 dengan X2 tabel 11,070. Sedangkan hasil posttest X2hitung = 8,946 dengan X2 tabel 11,070. Maka diperoleh kedua data berdistribusi normal karna X2hitung < X2 tabel. Sedangkan dari hasil uji hipotesis ada taraf signifikan 5% diperoleh thitung > ttabel yaitu 7,6 > 1,7207 ini menunjukkan Ha diterima Ho ditolak. Hal ini berarti bahwa hipotesis yang diajukan diterima yaitu terdapat pengaruh Metode Complete Sentence Berbantuan Media Gambar Terhadap Keterampilan Menulis Siswa Kelas III SDN 01 Korleko Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021. Kata kunci: Metode Complete Sentence, Media Gambar, Keterampilan Menulis.

Abstract

Abstract: Maximum inclusive education can be seen from good management for the school. One of them is financial management/funding. Funding and the allocation of these funds are one of the influential aspects for the success of schools in implementing inclusive education. So that this study aims to determine the effect of the allocation of school funds at SMA Garuda Cendekia Jakarta. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with interview techniques with one of the special supervisor teachers (GPK) who has been teaching for at least 5 years. The results showed that Garuda Cendekia High School needed sufficient funds to implement inclusive education because the management and funding at Garuda Cendekia High School had not been maximized, especially related to special facilities for children with special needs.
