Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the terms "perfect" and "imperfect" competition in the market structure from an Islamic economic perspective. This study employed a qualitative approach to library research as its methodology. The results of the literature review indicate that the structure of perfect competition has a close relationship with the Islamic market concept. This proximity is reflected in the price, which is determined according to the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad by supply and demand. In addition, it is believed that perfect market competition is a market structure that can benefit both consumers and producers. Moreover, elements of imperfect competition that can oppress consumers, such as monopolies, oligopolies, and monopolistic practices, must be avoided. In Islamic economics, however, there is no concept of competition because it is synonymous with war, fighting, and dumping, so the term "competition" in the concept of market structure is inappropriate. For this reason, a new concept is required, namely the ta'awun market, in which the market in Islamic economics should be a place and a means of mutual assistance. Keywords: Market structure, Islamic perspective, perfect competition, imperfect competition

Abstract

This article aims to explain the results of the author's analysis of the implementation of halal certificates on food products sold online, inhibiting and supporting factors for the application of halal certificates to food sold online, and the impact of Sharia economic law on the haleness of food products sold online without halal certificates. The results of the 2021 survey on e-commerce statistics show that the types of goods and services sold the most online in Lampung are food and beverage groups, totaling 40.86 percent of all businesses sampled by e-commerce. The rapid progress of buying and selling food online has become an additional task for halal certificate implementation agencies in providing security and comfort, especially for Muslim consumers in Indonesia, so they can consume halal food that is traded online. The research methodology that the author uses is qualitative in terms of the type of research documentation, interviews, and observations. The author goes directly to the field to conduct observations and interviews with primary data derived from the results of interviews with the BPJPH task force and LPPOM MUI. The results of the study show that there are no special strategies for food sold online. Supporting factors include the existence of institutions assisting the halal product process for MSME business actors. The inhibiting factor is that there is no direct regulation of cooperation with online business application server managers, a lack of public understanding of halal certificates, Analysis of Sharia Economic Law on the haleness of food products sold online: the haleness of products sold online or offline without MUI halal certificates are categorized as syubhat. Abstract

This research will comprehensively answer, describe, and explain in detail the context of problems that occur in musyarakah contracts. Therefore, this research will reveal the veil of understanding by focusing on the anthropological view of the implementation of musyarakah contracts, both in terms of the application of the contract and sharia principles, as well as the problems that often occur in musyarakah contracts in the operations of sharia financial institutions. This research is a type of normative-empirical research, which is an anthropological approach. The data used are primary and secondary data which are then analyzed using argumentative analysis techniques. The results and conclusions of this research are that musyarakah exists as a method for practicing and implementing Islamic religious values, where this also includes the concept of hifdz mall (maintenance of assets) which is essentially part of the objectives of sharia itself. Although problems often occur in the musyarakah contracts carried out intentionally by the parties or unpredictable force majeure, these musyarakah contracts can be maximized again by using good and correct solutions by Sharia financial institutions. With the concept of the musyarakah contract, Sharia financial institutions have a mission to fight ignorance, poverty, tyranny, evil, and injustice in economic activities to achieve al-falah (prosperity in this world and the hereafter).
