Abstract

Informal leaders are community leaders. Right in the figure because they have influence or authority or charisma in front of the community. Community leaders can perform the role of social control against their peoples. For example, in a way to educate, advise, guide, nurture, admonish, and so in order to comply with their peoples values - values and norms. an effort to create a society that is free from injustice or social dysfunction . Achievement of educational goals multukultural success in society is influenced by the functioning of the informal leader. Informal leaders have influence and strategic position in creating a harmonious community life - humanist. Therefore, informal leaders need to run a variety of multicultural education approach optimally as individuals who play an active role in providing education mutlikultural in society. The function of a leader is not going to be achieved if the cultural capacity of the informal leaders can not be realized. Therefore, the cultural capacity needs to be developed through various interventions.

Abstract

This study is based on the problem of grandeur social values There 'Tuo already eroded by globalization with the inclusion of modern culture without filtration, causing the value of Ada' Tuo will disappear so that people do not know anymore Batanguru identity. The purpose of this study was to determine the existence of social values There 'Tuo village sub-district of Batang Uru Sumarorong. Subjects In this study, the sample data sources are selected purposively and snowball sampling. The data source selected person who has authority on the social situation, including traditional leaders and religious leaders, village head, village communities Batanguru which includes natives and migrants as much as 6 residents. Methods of data collection in this study are: interview, observation and documentation. Based on the survey results revealed that social values There 'Tuo embodied in religious and social values in Batang Uru village communities to provide and regulate the relationship between the communities. Social and cultural values govern the role of each member of society and carry out any role with the people around him. The results showed that the value of social Ada'Tuo in Batang Uru village communities existence is still maintained.

Abstract

This research is a class action (classroom action research), which aims to determine the mathematical learning outcome of students through a learning method mind mapping approach Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). Subjects in this study were VIII2 grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Polewali as many as 32 students. This study consisted of two cycles, with each cycle lasts for 4 meetings which is 3 times the meeting for the implementation of measures and one-off meeting for the end of the test cycle. The result showed that the results of learning mathematics increased through learning methods CTL mind mapping approach. It is shown from mastery learning students from the first cycle to the second cycle, the first cycle ketuntasannya reached 78.12% and the second cycle of 96.87%. Activities of students from the first cycle to the second cycle also increased.

Abstract

This study was conducted in nine islands (Sinjai), Lompo Barrang Island (Makassar) and islands in the Marine National Park Taka Bonerate Selayar. Data was collected through in-depth interviews and observation. Respondents were purposively determined the group leader / retainer and members of fisherman, and his wife and family fishermen catching ever held in Australia. Because the data taken in this study is qualitative. The results showed that in principle fishermen operating in Australia is significantly influenced by the demands of everyday life; Biota especially sea cucumber catches, thus high economic value and abundant numbers in Australian waters; juridical aspects, the fishing is considered the most severe sanction a burning ship and monetary penalties (not afraid of physical sanctions). Involvement retainer / investors, a key trigger splendor of fishermen to catch Australia's waterways looking for biota. From the aspect of revenue, is clearly more advantageous when compared to Australian waters Indonesia.Dari aspect for the results, it appears that the retainer ( investors ) more gain much larger than mustard and divers and the skipper. His wife and teenage children , sometimes supporting the fishermen into Australian waters, especially those residing in Sinjai and Selayar

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the question of the mid term exam in geometry course. Focusing on the level of difficulty, validity, and reability. This research is evalution qualitative research conducting in mathematic education departement. The quantitative data that was taken from th answer sheet of students was analyzed by using descriptive statistic. The results revealed that: (1) the level difficulty of questions number 2, 3 is very hard and 5 is hard, number 1 is average, and number 4 is low , (2) the validity of all question ( number 1 through 5 ) is valid with different level of validity, (3) the reability of questions is in average, in terms of difficulty level, most questions are difficult, it is affected the reability of the items examination that is in average level.

Abstract

This study aims to describe (1) planning to improve writing skill through cooperative STAD type cooperative strategy of class XII IPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Pasangkayu Pasangkayu Regency; (2) the implementation of improving writing skill through STAD type cooperative stategi 1 IPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Pasangkayu Pasangkayu regency, and (3) assessment improving writing skill through cooperative type STAD strategy of grade XII students IPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Pasangkayu. This research is a type of Classroom Action Research (PTK). This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Pasangkayu Pasangkayu Regency that is class XII IPA4. This research data in the form of quantitative data that is result of student writing (essay) and qualitative data collected by using instrument. The instrument of this research is test and nontes, type of test used is writing activity, while nontes in the form of observation guidance, documentation study, and interview. The result of the research shows that in improving writing skill through STAD type cooperative stategial strategy IPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Pasangkayu Pasangkayu regency in the stage of planning, implementation, and assessment of cycle I have not maximized because of obstacles faced by teachers and students in learning. However, in the second cycle of implementation planning, and assessment can be maximized with the limitation of all the obstacles experienced in the first cycle so that students' writing skills have a good change. or increase. Thus, STAD type cooperative strategy can improve the writing skill of grade XII students IPA4 SMA Negeri 1 Pasangkayu Pasangkayu regency.

Abstract

The research aims on discovery the description and the influence of Problem Based Learning Model with Problem Posing Approach on mathematics creativity and Student Activity on The Material of Cubes and Beams of Class VIII Student at SMPN 7 Polewali. The research was free experiment research which employed one group pretest-posttest design. The result of research reveal that (1) the student’ Mathematics creativities before applying problem based learning with problem posing approach to class VIII B student at SMPN 7 Polewali show that 23 student are in uncreative category and 1 student is less creativity category, the student’ mathematics creativity after applying problem based learning with problem posing approach to class VIII B student at SMPN 7 Polewali shows that 1 student is in very creativity, 5 student are in creativity category, 17 student are in fairly creative category and 1 student is in less creativity category, (2) the description of the students’ learning activity after applying  problem based learning with problem posing approach to class VIII B student at SMPN 7 Polewali overall is in active category, (3) problem based learning with problem posing approach gives influence to class VIII B student at SMPN 7 Polewali with gain score in medium category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent to which the effectiveness of the comics medium in improving the writing skills of students of class VII MTs.As'adiyah Wonomulyo narrative. The study population were students of class VII MTs. Mas'udiyah Wonomulyo 2013/2014 school year as many as 30 students. Sampling was done by taking a random population (random sampling), observation, testing and interview as a research instrument. Data were analyzed using inferential statistical techniques. Results of research on class VII MTs Mas'udiyah Wonomulyo can be seen in the results of the average value of the pre-test and post-test learners and test value T. From the descriptive statistical analysis performed by the researchers then obtained an average value pre- test and post-test learners. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Problem Based Learning on the mathematical problem solving ability of students.The sample used in this study was taken from 67 students from semester VII in mathematics department FKIP at University of Al Asyariah Mandar which were divided into two classes. The data was collected by using an observation sheet, achievement test, and students’ questionnaire responses to a problem Based Learning model. Descriptive analysis showed that the average result in problem-solving ability in control class was 55.99% to 69.73%; While in experimental class was 60.40% to 88.16%.The results of the students were in the ideal category and 80% of the students gave a positive (happy) response towards the applied of learning model. Based on normalised gain analysis obtained, the gain for the experimental group was 0.861 (in the high category), while the control group was 0.294 (located in the lower category). Inferential analysis showed that there was a significant difference between the two classes, the class tasked with the problem-based learning model had positive results and this model was more effective in improving the mathematical problem solving ability of students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the variable / information on the application-GPI CLAAP approach in the preparation of its medium-Village at 3 in the sample villages Bantaeng. This research is a descriptive study with qualitative approach in this case using inductive logic thinking. findings obtained through connecting, Indexing and interpretation of data / information obtained from in-depth interviews and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). From the results of the study concluded that: (1) In general penegetahuan village community (village government, Village Facilitators and Villagers) on the approximation of Clapp-GPI, related sense, the importance berfocus on the poor and women (GPI) and principles / basic values Clapp-GPI memuskan enough. (2) The survey results also showed that approximately 76.7% - 86.7% of respondents were very satisfied with the benefits of planning Rural Development in identifying and identifies poverty according to the perspective of the local community. (3) The survey results also showed that in general the respondents were satisfied and very satisfied with the application of the Clapp-GPI in the preparation of village plans-RKP Village beneficial to the improvement of quality of life, help to improve the quality of rural development planning, help in accessing and managing programs and kedesa budget entry
