This research is an experimental research which observed the influence of the use of exploratory method in improving mathematics learning outcomes in the students of Class IX of SMP Negeri 5 Campalagian. The sampling technique used in this research is random sampling. Sample determination was done randomly from 3 classes with 99 a population, each class has the same chance of being sampled. IXB class as experimental class taught by using exploration method with 25 students and IXA class as control class taught by using conventional learning, there is 25 people of learn. Each class is taught in the same frequency of meetings and on the same subject. The experimental class uses exploratory method and control class using conventional approach. The results of mathematics learning are obtained on prêt-test and post-test. Thus, in the experimental class obtained prêt-test average score of 56.00 while the post-test of 75.40. In the control class obtained the average score of pre-test of 61.40 while in the post-test of 67.60. Judging from the average result of the students showed a significant difference, seen from the results of hypothesis testing obtained value of 2.136, while for the value of which means that, it can be said that there is a different application of exploratory methods with the application of conventional methods of mathematics learning outcomes in participants Students Class IX SMP Negeri 5 Campalagian.

This research is explanatory using a qualitative approach with descriptive type. The research location was chosen purposively by considering focusing on local actors in the village. The number of informants is 25 people. Data retrieval is done with Questionnaire, Focus Group Discussion and observation. The results show that the role and performance of the BPD in carrying out government functions is still not optimal, this can be seen as follows 1) Contribution The role of the BPD is still very limited and constrained in preparing village development plans compiled in the Village RPJM with a period of 6 (six) years and Village RKP with a period of 1 (one) year, as well as Village APBD which is the annual village financial planning. The low contribution of the BPD involves the community in planning as a manifestation of democratic, transparent and accountable implementation and making the community the subject of development. The indicator that became the failure of the BPD in empowering the community was the low level of community knowledge about the Village RPJM, Village RKP and Village APBD. The knowledge and skills of BPD members are still limited in dynamizing and triggering the wider community (including the poor and women) to be active in village planning, decision making, implementation of the results of village planning and monitoring of their evaluations. 2) The performance of the BPD in absorbing and channeling people's aspirations which are damaged in the form of a policy stipulated in village regulations is still very weak, it can be seen from the BPD's performance in making a legal product that can protect community units such as village regulations on livestock management , management of village forests, customary institutions that are still alive and customary property.

This study aims to determine the factors that influence in dealing with waste in the city of Makassar, this study used phenomenological approach and classified as qualitative research. The results showed that the waste problem is still on the agenda of homework that has not been able to overcome the maximum to date, this gives an indication that there is no synergy between the leadership of stakeholders, employees and the community in order to jointly tackle the waste problem, so the government needs to involve the community as a subject development in addressing the waste problem in the city of Makassar.

The research aims to discover hether INSTAD learning model has influence towards motivation and mathematics problem solving ability of class VII students at SMPN 5 Wonomulyo Polewali Mandar district. The research was pre-experiment with one group only pretest-postest design. The results of the research showed that (1) the students’ motivation before implementing INSTAD learning model gained the average by 74.73 or in medium category, and the motivation after implementing INSTAD learning model gained verage by 101.83 or in very high category, also the improvement of the students’ learning motivation gained the average by 0.6 or in medium category, (2) the students’ ability in solving problem before implementing INSTAD learning model gained the average by 43.42 or in very low category, and the ability of solving problem after implementing INSTAD learning model gained verage by 78.95 or in medium category, also the improvement of the students’ ability in solving problem gained the average by 0.63 or in medium category, (3) the implementation of INSTAD learning model has influence towards the students’ motivation, (4) the implementation of INSTAD learning model has influence towards the students’ ability in solving problem.

Civics learning problems in class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Bambang lies in learning model that is less able to generate the critical thinking skills of learners. The purpose of this study is; Civics improve learning outcomes through learning model Controversial Issues in Class VIII students SMP Negeri 2 Bambang Mamasa, the type of research is classroom action research, consisting of four stages; 1) planning; 2) implementation; 3) observation; and 4) reflection. Subject of the study a total of 29 people. Data collection instruments used were Observation Sheet. Problem Tests and, Dokumentasi. Teknik descriptive statistics are used to describe the study variables, such as Mean (average value), Range (interval data), Minimum Score (lowest score) and Maximum Score (highest score) and percentage. The results showed that by using model Controversial Issues in teaching civics can increase the average value of students from the first cycle to silklus II. The mean value obtained by students in the first cycle of 73.79 at the high category of 89.6% with classical completeness of 62.1%. While on the second cycle increased the value of the average grade of 83.45 at the high category amounted to 75.9% with classical completeness of 100%.

Purposed to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes of Class X SMA Negeri 2 Makassar through the implementation of Quantum Learning method. The subjects of this research were 40 students of Class X.4 SMA Negeri 2 Makassar in Even Semester 2014/2015. The first cycle was held 6 times and the second cycle as well. Data retrieval was done by using learning outcome test and observation at each end of the cycles according to the lesson. Based on the results of data analysis obtained that qualitatively, some changes occurred. Students showed enthusiasm to follow the lesson, as well as interest and motivation to learn is improved. While the quantitative increase in the average score of students learning outcomes at the first cycle is 7.16 with a standard deviation is 1.09 to 8.14 with a standard deviation is 0.91 at the second cycle. It means that the result of students’ mathematic learning through the implementation of Quantum Learning method is increased.

This research is based on the idea that women's representation is the support of society, especially women, to fulfill basic rights and basic rights so that problems related to poverty and other problems of gender inequality can be overcome through the voice of women of parliament. This research uses qualitative approach with descriptive type. The location of the research and the determination of informants was chosen purposively by considering the focus on women. Those selected are those directly involved in the management of development at the village / kelurahan level. The result of the research shows that the general knowledge about the Profile of Women Legislative Members (ALP) in Polman Regency is not satisfactory, their knowledge about ALP profile is not deep because most of them do not know well about other data related to ALP like position and party as well the area of the electoral district of the ALP. This is because the ALP is rarely in direct contact with the community and the media is not utilized. Public expectations of a gender-responsive Development Program Arrangement and ensuring the alignment of Women and the Poor are; The ALP should play an active role in promoting village development programs that must be guarded by involving women and the poor to all stakeholders. The ALP should also encourage existing Regulations / Regulations related to Musrembang Village / Sub District / Regency that ensure the representation of Women, and other Marginal Groups.

This study aims to describe whether or not there is a relationship between reading habits and reading comprehension ability in class IX students of SMP Kemala Bayangkari Makassar. This study is a descriptive study using correlational analysis methods. The population in this study was 200 students and the sample was 40 students. In this study data was collected from two sources, namely the questionnaire value from the results of the reading habit questionnaire test and the value of reading comprehension ability from the results of the comprehension reading ability test. Data obtained in the form of primary data using a quantitative descriptive approach with an objective process and analyzing data. The results of the analysis in this study indicate that the relationship between reading habits and reading comprehension ability of class IX students at SMP Kemala Bayangkari Makassar has a positive correlation. In this study, it is hoped that the readers and writers themselves will be able to further improve their reading skills.

This study aimed to describe the ability of learners to write a text message in learning Indonesian language and literature in the eighth grade students of MTs DDI Basseang, District Anreapi Polewali Mandar. Learner performance data and observations were analyzed using qualitative methods. Results of test instrument was analyzed by using the formula percentage that can be seen from the aspect of completeness of the content of news learners categorized as very capable, aspects exposure of most learners categorized as incapable, from the aspects of the use of the phrase most learners categorized as incapable, aspects of the vocabulary used learners categorized less able, the attractiveness of the title of most aspects of learners categorized as incapable, and from the aspect of the use of EYD categorized learners can not afford. While the results of observation and documentation shows only a few students who actually receive lessons, most students do not pay attention or listen to the teacher's explanation, only a few students were enthusiastic in asking questions about the theory of learning.
