Abstract

Transparency and Accountability are the two important factors for the integrity and good governance for an institution in planning, budgeting, procuring and implementing public infrastructure projects.This research is a descriptive research, which aims to find out how far is the degree of transparency and accountability in the procurement of public infrastructure in Timor-Leste.Emphasizing on these variables, it may draw the attention of the government to be strictly applying the norms and guidelines of public procurement in order to improve public view on Timor-Leste due to the corruption issues.  The result of the research shows that only 66% of the respondent from the public contractors agree on the transparency in the procurement of public infrastructure projects while only 58% of them recognize the accountability of the public official who are dealing with the public infrastructure’s procurement.

Abstract

Quality of service consisting of Tangible, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy and patient satisfaction is one unity that can not be separated. To realize patient's satisfaction, Hospital of Semen Gresik which oriented to health service is demanded to give good service quality for patients, so that society can live healthy and the goal health development can be achieved, it can be done by increasing the competence of hospital staff. This study aims to determine the influence of service quality on satisfaction BPJS’s patient at inpatient room of Semen Gresik Hospital (RSSG). Sample taking is using Probabiliyty Sampling technique, with kind of Simple Random Sampling. And the result show that tangibles and responsiveness variable had positive and significant effect on patient satisfaction while variable of reliability, assurance and empathy had no significant effect on patient satisfaction. Partially known that the dimension of responsiveness is the most influential variable on satisfaction of BPJS’s patient.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the organizational commitment, performance, and the influence of the three components of organizational commitment, namely affective commitment, continuous commitment and normative commitment to performance ZIS Consultant Amil Zakat Foundation Yatim Mandiri. The are 78 ZIS Consultant in population, and based on the formula Slovin obtained a sample of 65. The research method uses quantitative methods. Data were collected by questionnaire and analyzed with SPSS 20.0 application. Research results revealed that organizational commitment and performance ZIS Consultant Amil Zakat Foundation Yatim Mandiri is at a high category. Organizational commitment have significant and positive influence on the performance of ZIS Consultant with the contribution of the effect of 60%. Affective commitment most dominant influence on the performance of ZIS Consultant with 19.98% contribution influences.

Abstract

Performance is a process of measuring employee performance based on predetermined rules, by comparing the objectives with the job description requirements that is the standard work that has been established during a certain period. Discipline in an organization is an important problem faced in carrying out the job duties of each employee. This study aims to analyze the influence of participation on discipline, analyze the influence of transparency on the discipline, analyze the influence of participation on performance, analyze the effect of transparency on performance, analyze the influence of discipline on performance, analyze the influence of participation on performance through discipline, and analyze the influence of transparency to performance through discipline The results show that discipline is the amplifier (mediate) participation on employee performance. The higher the employee participation the discipline will increase. Performance of employees will be increased if employees discipline in completing the work. Discipline is able to mediate the effect of transparency on the performance of employees, which means that transparency can improve employee performance if the employee is disciplined in completing the job.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to asses and analyzes the influence of the motivation, commitment and reward staff on work effective. This study adapted the quantitatif study methode or explanatory research study, and the population and sample in this study was doctor, nurses and midwifery were worked on the inpatient ward in Dili National Hospital Guido Valadares Dili Timor-Leste about 71 persons, data collection technique used the questioner and than use the multiple linear regression analysis and to show the f test and t test. Regarding with the result of the multi regression analysis find out formulation bellow: Y = -5,142 + 0,115 X1 +0,425 X2 + 0,576 X3 + 3,644. From formulation result above can discused that have influences independent variable and dependent variable. And other regarding with the F test and t test showed that level of significant F test is 0,000. Regarding with this result to be summary that Motivation, commitment and reward variable simultant give influences to working effectively health care in Dili National hospital. In other side t test, find that have partial each independent variable are motivation, commitment and reward  have significant influence to work effective are motivation is 0,047 < , (5%), commitment is 0,425 <, (5%) and reward is 0,000 <, (5%) with the t table = 2,000. And next regarding with calculation find out reward variable have most dominant influence to work effective compared with the motivation and commitment variable.

Abstract

This study attempts to know how much compensation factors have leverage a significant impact on the performance of an Account Representative through motivation to labor as variable mediation in kpp pratama singosari .This research is research quantitative with the design survey by using questionnaire. Population research used is an Account Representative excavation potential KPP pratama singosari as many as 28 respondents and all used as respondents with the methods census. This research result indicates that compensation have had a positive impact and significant on the performance with coefficient value of 0,416 and motivation have had a positive impact and significant on the performance with coefficient value of 0,215 and motivation work be variables mediate between compensation on performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are to analysis what are risk management strengthen relationshipbetween independent commissioner and audit committee to financial performance. Dependenvariable is financial performance, independen variables are independent commissioner and auditcommittee, while the moderation variable is risk management. The samples are 96 period ofNasional Private Banking Company are listed in Indonesia stock exchange in the period 2012-2016. Analysis technique used Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with software SPSS 20.The result of the study indicates that risk management not moderated variable wich strengthenrelationship between independent commissioner to financial performance while risk managementis moderated variable wich strengthen relationship between audit commitee to financialperformance.

Abstract

Orientasi belanja wanita dikenal lebih teliti dibanding pria, desain toko yang memberikan kesenangan dan lingkungan yang atraktif melalui pendekatan-pendekatan desain akan menciptakan sebuah lingkungan yang mendukung pelanggan lebih fokus saat menentukan barang yang akan dipilih. Perubahan gaya hidup dan banyak hadirnya produk baru, mempengaruhi perkembangan dari desain retail. Pendekatan pasar terhadap konsumen wanita juga harus memperhatikan unsur-unsur pembedaan tersebut agar strategi marketing dalam menggaet potensi pasar wanita bisa tercapai. Melalui respon wanita, fokus penelitian ini adalah diketahui adanya pengaruh persepsi desain toko terhadap niat beli ulang melalui variabel psychic cost. Hasil analisa yang dilakukan secara kuantitatif bahwa desain toko berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap niat membeli ulang, desain toko berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap psichyc cost, psichyc cost tidak berpengaruh terhadap niat membeli ulang.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi dan kompensasi terhadap kinerja dimeadiasi oleh motivasi kerja pada tenaga pendidik Politeknik Angkatan Darat. Penelitian explanotary research ini berpopulasi sejumlah 63 orang tenaga pendidik yang mengajar di Politeknik Angkatan Darat, dan diambil sampel dengan teknik sampel jenuh. Data dianalisis dengan path analysis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Kompetensi, kompensai, motivasi kerja, dan kinerja pada tenaga pendidik Politeknik Angkatan Darat berada pada tingkat baik; 2) Kompetensi secara langsung berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja pada tenaga pendidik Politeknik Angkatan Darat; 3) Kompensasi secara langsung berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja pada tenaga pendidik Politeknik Angkatan Darat; 4) Kompetensi secara langsung berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pada tenaga pendidik Politeknik Angkatan Darat; 5) Kompensasi secara langsung berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pada tenaga pendidik Politeknik Angkatan Darat; 6) Motivasi kerja secara langsung berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pada tenaga pendidik Politeknik Angkatan Darat; 7) Kompetensi dengan mediasi motivasi kerja secara tidak langsung berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja pada tenaga pendidik Politeknik Angkatan Darat; 8) Kompensasi dengan mediasi motivasi kerja secara tidak langsung berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja pada tenaga pendidik Politeknik Angkatan Darat.

Abstract

Working capital management has an important role in measuring firms’ success in increasing their profits. In the current information era, firms need to manage working capital effectively and efficiently. The purpose of this paper is to determine and analyze the effect of working capital management to firms’ profitability. This study describes the effect of Days of Receivable, Days of Inventory, and Days of Payable on Return on Assets (ROA) of firms. This research uses descriptive quantitative method performed on cement manufacturing firms listed on the Indonesia stock exchanges during six periods using data collected from the annual financial statements of the firm. The data are analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this research show that, partially, period of receivable and period of inventory have a significant and positive effect on profitability. This means that if the period of receivable and the periods of inventory increases, the profitability will increase. A significant and negative effect on profitability is inflicted by period of debt and cash conversion cycle. This means that if the period of debt and cash conversion cycle increases, the profitability of the firms will decrease.
