Abstract

AbstractAnalysis of Media Dependency Relations with Student Political Participation at the Indonesian Lawyers Club Program on Tv One" (Case of Political Science Students of the Jakarta Institute of Social and Political Sciences). Communication Studies Program Broadcasting Concentration, Faculty of Social and Cultural Sciences (FISIB) Pakuan University Bogor. Supervised by Dr. David Rizar Nugroho M.Si. The objectives of the study were (1) Analyzing how students were exposed to the Indonesia Lawyers Club program on Tv One, (2) Analyzing how the political participation of students in Indonesia Lawyers Club program on Tv One, (3) Analyzing the relationship between Indonesia Lawyers Club program on Tv One and political participation of students. This research is a quantitative that produces statistical data using quantitative descriptive methods. Data used questionnaire method or questionnaire and literature study. The population and sample in this study were political science students from the Jakarta Institute of Social and Political Sciences who had watched Indonesia Lawyers Club on Tv One with accidental sampling. The research instrument tested the validity of the Pearson Product Moment reliability with Cronbach's Alpha. Data analyzed technique used is the average score and correlation test. The results show that: (1) In the media discontinuation variable the duration indicator of the majority of respondents watching Indonesia Lawyers Club 10-20 minutes in one watch. (2) Indicator of frequency of watching Indonesian Lawyers Club, the majority of respondents watch twice a month. (3) There is a significant relationship between media exposure and student political participation which is obtained by Pearson Product Moment correlation test for ratio, interval and ordinal data.Keywords: media dependency, political participation, relationships

Abstract

AbstractThe study aims to know the communication strategy business that is applied by Kampung Wisata Bisnis Tegalwaru and  review the strategy of  the long run it will be carried out in the face of the licensing related to the implementation of the communication strategy business. The metode of researches is descriptive qualitatif method, in obtaining data using the method of indepth interviews, observations, documentation, and the study of the library. The result showed that in making the communication strategy business, Kampung Wisata Bisnis Tegalwaru make a long-term plan called Renstra (Rencana Strategis) the community empowerment. The obstacles or factors inhibiting the way the process of communication strategy to the business in Kampung Wisata Bisnis Tegalwaru is: Lack of facilities and infrastucture to accomodate visitors in large numbers, the lack of coordination in the team, as well as lisencing Kampung Wisata Bisnis Tegalwaru as a tourist village that hasnt been registered in the Departement of Culture and Tourism of Bogor Regency. Keywords: Strategy, Communication Strategy Business, Kampung Wisata Bisnis Tegalwaru

Abstract

Abstract          This research is a qualitative descriptive study that aims to determine the communication network of street children in connection with the implementation of a one-way system in the city of Bogor. It also finds out whether street children are one of the inhibiting factors in implementing a one-way system in the city of Bogor. The communication network described in this study is the structure of the wheeled communication network, the chain communication structure, the communication structure of the Y communication network, the circle network structure, and the communication network structure of all channels. Data sources used in this study are key informants, informants, events and activities, and literature related to group communication and communication networks. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling which was considered to know accurate information in response to the research problem formulation. Data collection techniques using in-depth interviews and observation techniques, while data analysis techniques used using interactive analysis models include: collection, data reduction, data interpretation, and drawing conclusions after verification. Based on the results of the study, communication networks are used by groups of children in the street that became the informant in this study. The first informants were from Tugu Kujang with chain communication network structure. The informants with wheel communication network structure are from Taman Topi, Lodaya, and Bantar Kemang. Street children are not directly inhibiting factors for the implementation of a one-way system in the city of Bogor, yet impeding aesthetics and the order of the city. The government conducts periodic training and provides a Work Training Center on a regular basis and provides Job Training Centers to reduce the growth rate of street children in Bogor city.  Keywords: anak travel bogor, bogor city, communication network one-way system

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to find out how the marketing communication strategy carried out by Taman Kupu-Kupu Sinarwangi Park Land Bogor in Forming Brand Awareness and to find out what factors are supporting and inhibiting the implementation of marketing communication strategies in Taman Kupu-Kupu Sinarwangi Park Land Bogor. This study uses a qualitative research approach that produces descriptive data in the form of written words and the data methods used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation.The results of this study emphasize the marketing communication strategy that has been carried out by Taman Kupu-Kupu Sinarwangi Park Land Bogor in forming brand awareness. Taman Kupu-Kupu Sinarwangi Park Land Bogor carries out a marketing communication strategy so that the Taman Kupu-Kupu Sinarwangi Park Land Bogor brand is recognized by the surrounding community, especially Bogor. The strategies used include identifying targets, determining communication objectives, designing messages, selecting personal and non-personal media communication channels, compiling a total communication budget, determining the promotion mix, implementing integrated marketing communication programs (IMC), and gathering feedback. There are supporting factors in the implementation of marketing communication strategies carried out by Taman Kupu-Kupu Sinarwangi Park Land Bogor, namely by presenting their superiority on social media Facebook and Instagram and utilizing school visits by interacting directly with teachers through information media through word of mouth. Abstract

Peristiwa bencana alam senantiasa mendapat perhatian media massa dan mendapat porsi besar dalam pemberitaan. Sifatnya yang berdampak menjadikan peristiwa bencana mempunyai nilai berita sehingga layak untuk dikabarkan kepada publik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara Surat Kabar Radar Cianjur dan Harian Umum Cianjur Ekspres dalam menyusun berita terkait peristiwa bencana alam. Penelitian memakai metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis framing model Zhongdang Pan dan Gerald M. Kosicki. Objek penelitian adalah berita mengenai peristiwa bencana alam yang dimuat dua objek penelitian tersebut. Hasilnya, ada kesamaan identik pada pemilihan judul dan kesamaan lainnya ada pada unsur tematik kendati Radar Cianjur lebih menekankan pada imbauan terkait potensi bencana di tengah cuaca ekstrem sedangkan Cianjur Ekspres memfokuskan pada proses penanganan bencana. Selain itu, struktur skrip juga sudah memenuhi keseluruhan unsur berita, kendati ada perbedaan pada penempatan setiap unsurnya di dalam teks berita, serta pemilihan narasumber yang berbeda. Radar Cianjur memilih foto berupa kejadian bencana dengan tambahan latars, sementara Cianjur Ekspres memakai ilustrasi grafis.

Abstract

Pariwisata halal menjadi pasar yang sangat menjanjikan dan memiliki prinsip yang sama dengan SDG’s yang memperhatikan lingkungan, pemberdayaan masyarakat, dan meningkatkan ekonomi daerah tujuan wisata. Jakarta masuk menjadi salah satu wisata ramah muslim di Indonesia yang terdapat fasilitas di dalamnya. Akan tetapi, pengembangan daerah pesisir Jakarta sebagai objek pariwisata halal dirasa belum merata ke seluruh potensi wisata yang dimiliki. Oleh karena itu, komunikasi bisa menjadi peran yang sangat penting bagi pengembangan pariwisata di Indonesia, melalui strategi komunikasi pariwisata. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini meliputi hasil jawaban wawancara dengan para informan yang merupakan pegawai Dinas Pariwisata Provinsi DKI Jakarta, Suku Dinas Pariwisata Kota Jakarta Utara, dan para pelaku wisata di daerah Marunda. Teknik analisis data berdasarkan Miles dan Huberman yang menunjukkan proses analisis data kualitatif. Jika ditinjau melalui empat indikator, yakni attraction, accessibility, amenity, dan ancilliary, Marunda memiliki potensi pariwisata halal: (1) Atraksi (attraction) yang dimiliki destinasi wisata di daerah Marunda adalah wisata sejarah Rumah Si Pitung, Masjid Al-Alam dan Pantai Marunda; (2) Aksesibilitas (accessibility): ketiga objek wisata di Marunda yang telah disebutkan sangat mudah karena lokasinya yang berdekatan. Kekurangannya adalah belum banyak moda transportasi yang tersedia sehingga hanya ditemukan beberapa waktu sekali; (3) Amenitas (amenity) cukup memadai seperti tersedia tempat untuk bersuci dan melaksanakan ibadah. Belum banyak restoran ataupun penyedia makanan yang ada di wilayah Marunda; (4) Fasilitas Tambahan (ancilliary) kepada wisatawannya cukup baik dengan ketersediaan fasilitas yang ada. Hasil penelitian ini mendapatkan informasi mengenai konsep strategi komunikasi pariwisata halal di pesisir Jakarta sehingga dapat berguna bagi perencanaan, pembangunan, dan pengembangan destinasi pariwisata halal di daerah pesisir. Ketika sudah memiliki pengetahuan dasar ini, pemerintah pusat atau pemerintah daerah dapat mengembangkan, mempromosikan, serta menjual produk wisata yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan wisatawan muslim.

Abstract

The Makassar City Government's Waste Processing for Electrical Energy (PSEL) project has become a topic of discussion and debate in various media outlets, including Tribunmakassar.com and Fajar.co.id. These two media outlets present different perspectives in their coverage of the project. This research employs a qualitative framing analysis approach to examine the pros and cons of the two media's reporting perspectives. The primary data, in the form of several related news articles, were analyzed using Robert N. Entman's framing tools. The results of the research are distributed into the following analysis units: define problem, diagnose causes, treatment recommendation, and make moral judgment. In the Tribunmakassar.com media, the problem is defined as the rejection of residents, which is perceived as potentially detrimental to the interests of the PSEL national strategic project. Fajar.co.id presents PSEL as a solution to environmental problems and residents' land, emphasizing the justice of land payments that have not been paid for 31 years. Tribunmakassar.com's diagnosis of causes highlights the alleged existence of individuals who sought to sabotage the project or bidders who provoked the community to refuse. Fajar.co.id highlights the divergence of opinions between the municipal government and residents regarding the project's location and the potential social and financial implications. Tribunmakassar.com assesses the residents' rejection of the project as a potentially detrimental action to the interests of the PSEL project, which is a national strategic project. Fajar.co.id evaluated PSEL as a potential solution to the environmental and land issues facing residents, with a particular focus on the fairness of land payments that have been outstanding for 31 years. Tribunmakassar.com proposed the necessity for enhanced coordination, the involvement of the KPK, and the preparation of tenders as a means of overcoming differences in opinion and the intricacies of regulations. Fajar.co.id proposed that further study, transparency, and the consideration of alternative approaches could be beneficial in addressing concerns and resolving disagreements.

Abstract

The tourism carrying capacity is the ability of a tourist attraction to accommodate tourists at a certain area and time, which is supported by the socioeconomic, sociocultural, and biogeophysical of a location without reducing the quality of the environment and tourist satisfaction in enjoying the attraction. The purpose of this study is to analyze the carrying capacity of ecotourism promotion, Situ Gede Village, West Bogor District, Bogor. This research is conducted with qualitative research methods. This research adopts the tradition of qualitative research case studies about the supporting capacity of Situ Gede ecotourism promotion which is carried out on weekdays, to be able to find out the ongoing process of activities so that we can meet with residents and visitors who are working on ecotourism promotion activities and KOMPEPAR members who are on duty. The results showed that the promotion of Situ Gede ecotourism through social media has not been effective because the informants we have interviewed said that management and legality have not been effective, therefore social media has not been effective as a promotional media to professionally increase the economic condition of Situ Gede, West Bogor District, Bogor. More efforts are still needed to optimize the promotional activities on Situ Gede ecotourism social media.

Abstract

Generasi Z, also known as Gen Z, is set to play a pivotal role in shaping the future economy. Within the realm of developmental communication, Gen Z holds significant importance in disseminating information and raising awareness about humanitarian issues, environmental concerns, and sustainable economic development. This research aims to map out and elucidate the role of Gen Z in enhancing Indonesia's economy within the framework of participatory developmental communication theory. The study adopts a qualitative descriptive research approach. The findings reveal that Gen Z fulfills several crucial roles in developmental communication to bolster the economy, create job opportunities, and maximize the creative economic industries and startups. This aligns with the concept of participatory developmental communication, wherein Gen Z possesses immense potential to drive social change and engage in campaigns aimed at advancing development. Gen Z serves as change agents tasked with steering economic transformations towards a better future, fostering collective prosperity.

Abstract

The study at hand investigates the efficacy of anti-plastic bag initiatives implemented in supermarkets and their contribution towards the promotion of sustainability. The issue that has been highlighted pertains to a deficiency in comprehending the concrete consequences of these endeavours. The primary aim of this study is to assess the efficacy of the campaign and ascertain potential techniques for promoting sustainable consumer behaviour, utilising the findings as a basis for further enhancement. In order to accomplish this objective, a research approach is employed which entails conducting surveys among a sample of 400 customers of supermarkets, followed by a comprehensive analysis of the collected data. The results suggest a notable decrease in the utilisation of plastic bags as a consequence of the campaign, hence illustrating its efficacy. This study not only emphasises the significance of these initiatives in promoting sustainability but also offers significant information for future policies targeting the promotion of sustainable consumption. This statement implies that effectively implemented marketing initiatives can significantly influence consumer behaviour and make a meaningful contribution towards achieving sustainability goals. The findings of this study have significant ramifications, indicating the possibility of implementing such programmes in several domains of consumer behaviour. This study serves as a foundation for further investigations into successfully implementing sustainable practises across diverse sectors.
