Abstract

The research aims to determine the effect of online learning and interest in learning on student learning outcomes at SMPN 46 Konawe Selatan. The method used in this research is a survey method with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all students in grades VII and VIII even semester, totaling 60 students, for the 2020/2021 academic year, the sample selection was carried out using a multistage random sampling technique, namely a combination of simple random sampling and stratified random sampling, after selecting the sample, 49 students were selected .Learning data in the network and learning interest were obtained from questionnaires, while data collection on students' mathematics learning outcomes was taking test scores. The data analysis technique in this study used multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that online learning and interest in learning had an effect on students' learning outcomes in mathematics, with a contribution of 12.7% while the remaining 87.3% was influenced by other variables outside those studied. The results of this study also show that students' mathematics learning outcomes have a mastery level of learning outcomes of 71.42%, with students' mathematics learning outcomes included in the medium category.

Abstract

The actions of workers and the conditions of the work place greatly influence the occurrence of work accidents, where accidents that often occur in welding workshops are workers tripping over tools or materials in the welding area, ringing in their ears, inhaling welding fumes, hands being pinched, being hit by hot iron sparks, and so on. Data collection is carried out by direct interviews in order to obtain data from work processes, accidents that may occur and findings from direct observations and similar related research. In processing the data, after the analysis has been carried out, it can be calculated based on the level of risk in the form of a value. This research aims to reduce the risk of work accidents using the Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment method, where this method is to find out how to identify potential dangers that may arise in the area and assess the risks using a risk assessment matrix. In this research, qualitative analysis was carried out using an observational approach. Of the 7 workshop activities, namely dropping goods/materials using a crane, cutting materials, welding, plate rolling, smoothing weld marks (granding), sandblasting, and painting, there are 28 potential hazards which are classified into: 21 risks in the Low Risk category (75%), 3 risks in the Moderate category (11%), and 4 risks in the High category (14%). With a frequency level range of 1-5, the severity value range starts from 1-2 and the risk levels obtained are low, moderate and high.

Abstract

Education always strives to create students who always make updates for the sake of updates all the time. Not only able to be highly educated but able to be an agent of change in small and large scopes. The resulting changes and innovations are able to provide maximum contribution to the progress of a nation that has quality human resources. This research aims to find out how the Independent Learning curriculum concept is implemented, especially in mathematics subjects at MAN 1 Padang. The method used is a qualitative research method using literature study. From the research conducted, MAN 1 Padang is a school that is still implementing the 2013 curriculum in the 2022/2023 academic year. Meanwhile, for the Merdeka Belajar curriculum, the Merdeka Belajar curriculum has already been introduced, but it is still in broad outline. Meanwhile, the implementation of the independent learning curriculum will only begin to be implemented in the new academic year 2023/2024.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative study using One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design design while collection of data using test technique. Sample in this research is student of semester IV in Mathematics Education Program as much 25 students who mathematical creative thinking ability low. Researchers found that students mathematical creative thinking ability after applying PACE learning model is better than students mathematical creative thinking before applying PACE learning model. The result of the analysis shows that there is a significant difference between students mathematical creative thinking ability before applying PACE learning model and after applying PACE learning model on Opportunity material with t_count bigger than t_table, both in level of significance 5% and 1%, which it 2,06 4,90 2,80. The results of the research is suggest that lecturers to applying PACE learning model in teaching Mathematics Statistics study.

Abstract

One of learning media which is using in Problem-based learning that can improve students' conceptual understanding ability is GeoGebra. This study aims to: 1) describe the students' understanding of the concepts of SMA Negeri 1 Oheo. 2) determine the effect of problem-based learning assisted by the GeoGebra application on students' conceptual understanding at SMAN 1 Oheo. This research is pre-experimental research. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling. Class XI MIA as a research class. The data collection technique consists of students' conceptual understanding tests seen from the indicators explaining, understanding and concluding, as well as teacher observation sheets. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Students' conceptual understanding at SMAN 1 Oheo is in the high category where indicators of students being able to explain abstract concepts into a model have a 100% presentation, indicators of students being able to recognize and understand the main idea of a communication have a presentation 91.30%, and the student's indicator of being able to conclude from something that is already known material has an achievement of 78.26. 2) There is an effect of problem-based learning assisted by the GeoGebra application on students' understanding of concepts at SMAN 1 Oheo

Abstract

Self efficacy is a basic belief in learning, especially learning mathematics, because self efficacy can have a strong effect that can show students' self-confidence, when students have a high self-efficacy category, students can solve problems in learning mathematics well. This study aims to analyze the self efficacy of students in learning mathematics with the Search, Solve, Create, Share (SSCS) learning model. This research is a descriptive quantitative research. The subjects in the study were students of class VIII SMPN 8 Bukittinggi and a sample of 30 people. The instrument used is a self efficacy questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses descriptive statistical analysis using the percentage of degrees of achievement. The results of the study were obtained that the self efficacy of students with the learning model given search, solve, create share there were 8 students in the high category, 21 students in the high enough category, and 1 student in the medium category. While overall the degree of achievement of students' self efficacy is in the high enough category. Where for each dimension of students' self efficacy is also in the high enough category.

Abstract

This research is useful in diagnosing students’ learning difficulties for statistics material. This research was conducted at UPTD SMP Negeri 7 Sinjai. The researcher took two students of class VIII as subjects. Researchers used observation, interviews, documentation and diagnostic tests as data collection methods. Based on the research that has been done, the obstacles students face when working on statistical questions, there are still some who do not understand how to do the questions. And if there are new questions that are not similar to the examples given, students are wrong again in working on the problem. Efforts are being made in order to overcome student learning difficulties by practicing lots of questions and the teacher can understand how to capture and interest students so that it is easier to understand the material being explained.
