Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of pragelatinization temperature modification on corn flour quality, and to determine the effect of modified pragelatinized corn flour and the level of consumer acceptance of corn cookies. This research is an experiment research with Completely Randomized Design (RAL). This research is done through two stages. The first stage of making corn flour pragelatinization uses three steaming time. The second stage is the making of corn cookies. The variables observed were analysis of proksimat levels corn flour pragelatinization and corn cookies, starch levels analysis, amylose levels analysis, and hedonic test. The data were processed using SPSS program version 22, with variance analysis method (ANOVA) and continued with DMRT test (Duncan) at level 5%. The results showed corn flour pragelatinization 30 minutes is the best treatment to proceed to the manufacture of cookies products. The result of hedonic test of cookies as a whole is accepted by consumers, especially the comparison treatment of 70% corn flour pragelatinization and 30% wheat flour as the best treatment with water levels of 3.22%, ash levels of 1.20%, protein levels 6.33%, 12.25 % fat levels, and carbohydrates 77%. Overall, proximate analysis, starch levels, and amylosa levels of pragelatinization corn flour and corn cookies have met the established quality requirements.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of water quality on the production of seaweed (Kappaphycus alvarezii). This study was an experimental study using a completely randomized design (CRD). There are three treatments, treatment A (50 m), treatment B (500 m), treatment C (1000 m) and a control consisting of three replications. The research variables were observed include the production and quality of the sea water. The analysis technique used in this research is the analysis of variance were processed using SPSS version 20. The results showed that the location most suitable planting sea grass is at a spacing of 500 meters from the river mouth to the value of the highest average production of 88500g (88,5kg ) while the water quality such as salinity, pH, temperature, turbidity, phosphates and dissolved oxygen, still within acceptable limits for the growth and production of seaweed (Kappaphycus alvarezii)

Abstract

Inadequate disposal of livestock manure has caused environmental pollution around the village, both water, soil and air (smell). Animal waste in the form of liquid is deliberately flowed into the river while solid waste is left piled up around the cage. The occurrence of odor and pollution is sometimes triggered social conflict, with complaints from local communities. With a population of 35 head of cattle for a farmer group, assuming the average per cow yields 15 kg of solid waste, the waste produced can reach approximately 525 kg per day. The lack of knowledge and the low educational background of the cattle ranchers in the Arabica Village makes the awareness of the environment to be lacking, as well as the technology of processing animal waste and the benefits. Biogas Reaktors of animal waste, although they have heard but lack of knowledge of how to make biogas installations and the assumption that the budget is spent to build the technology makes them prefer to allocate these funds to other things in order for the survival of livestock business can be sustainable. By looking at the existing potential, of course, if managed properly, Arabica Village can become an energy independent village and is a new business opportunity, for biogas products and residues from the installation of biogas in the form of organic fertilizer.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine distributioninput and output capacity of water on the vacuums’ shelter and the impact of cultivation system in developing vertikultur device of  pumpenergy. This research is a design building. The data that collected consist of hydrostatic pressure (P), input and output capacity of water distribution, water discharge, plant height and plant production. The data was analyzed by using descriptive analysis. The results showed that the water circulation occurred because P1> P2 with the value of each pressure was P1 4900 kg/ms2 and P2 1960 kg/ms2, the average of inputdistribution capacity was 202.5 ml/sec while the distribution of water output capacity was 184.5 ml / sec, the average of water discharge as long as output experiment was 0,32 ml/sec and input 0,39 ml/sec. Then this device was applied to the kale plant.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research that aims to know learning achievement on the subjects of agricultural tools and machinery through integrated learning model connected type to the students of class XII ATPH SMK Negeri 2 Bulukumba school year academic year 2017/2018. The subjects of this study were the learners of class XII ATPH state vocational school 2 Bulukumba with amount of 25 learners undertaken in two cycles and each cycle is held four times meetings. Data collection techniques used are through the initial tests and tests at the end of the cycle. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of integrated learning model connected type at the students of class XII ATPH state vocational school 2 Bulukumba can improve learning achievement. This is shown from the results of cycle I with an average value of 52,00%, and on the of cycle II increased with an average value of 81.90%, while for classical exhaustiveness reached 93,23%

Abstract

The condition of fishery resources in Barru Regency can still be categorized as good fishery and not yet widely used, due to lack of adequate fishing catch fisheries. One of the locations of fishing operations in Barru namely Mallusetasi waters. The dominant fishing gear used in fishing operations in Barru include seine trawl, fishing rod, gill net, tap chart and floating chart but still not giving optimal result. the goal in this program is the application of LED-based fishing technology and the determination of the frequency of sound can be useful for the fishermen community and increase the number of catch and environmentally friendly. This activity is divided into 3 stages namely the initial stage (preparation), the stage of implementation, and the final stage all of which was carried out approximately for 5 months. PKM has a promising potential both in terms of knowledge and its application. PIBER LEDFRESUR during its application gives effect to the number of fisherman catch and the amount of compression / economy of new bojo fishermen in new regency. With the use of PIBER LEDFRESUR the energy used is relatively small as well as the most gterpenting environmentally friendly. The catch of a fisherman usually 1 capture in 4 hours now using FIBER LEDFRESUR rose to 4 times in 4 hours, with a catch of 20 kg per catch

Abstract

The cultivation of oyster mushroom (Pleorotus ostreatus) is not many expanded yet in Indonesia, either the exertion chance or the consumtion fulfillment of society. The objective research is to know the growt, production, storability, and the protein content  degree of oyster mushroom on the basic media of sawdust were mixed with some compositions of corn cob flour brand. The research was arranged on completely random design with treatments mixture of sawdust from jati wood with corn cob (15%,25%,35%) and brand (15%,25%,35%). Oyster mushroom growth were observed at seven days after inoculation. The data were analyzed by of Varian Analysis (ANOVA) and continued with Duncant Multiple Range Test (DMRT) on 5% level.Result showed that corn cob and brand were effective admixture to enhance oyster mushroom production. The optimal growth, production, and protein content is  found in the mixture of brand media with concentration 35% , while for corn cob  media with concentration 25% But for the storability of oyster mushroom the result showed that the corn cob and brand has not a significant influence

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research, to improve student learning outcomes on the tools and agricultural machinery subject in class X majoring agribusiness food crops and holticulture expertise SMKN 4 Jeneponto with the use of teaching media, Adobe Flash CS6. The subjects of this research were the students of class X agribusiness food crops and holticulture expertise SMK Negeri 4 Jeneponto in the first semester of academic year 2017/2018 that consist of 34 students. This study was conducted in two cycles consisting of four activities, namely: planning, implementation, monitoring/observation and reflection. Data collection and activities of student learning outcomes is done by using a test sheet end of study and observation sheet in the first cycle and the second cycle. The data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Based on the results of this study concluded that the use of Adobe Flash CS6 can improve the learning outcomes of class X ATPH SMKN 4 Jeneponto. The first cycle test showed learning completeness 52.94% and the second cycle test showed that all students, 34 students, were declared 100% complete.

Abstract

This research aims to know the formulationsbolu kukus cake by using sweet potato flour and to know the varieties of sweet potatoes in the creation of bolu kukus cake. The research method using Random Complete. The results that it is processed using the techniques of analysis investigated a variety of ANOVA with a further DMRT (Duncan Multiple Rate). The results showed that most preferred by the panelists on the treatment A3Z3 with the formulation of flour 40% and sweet potato flour purple 60%

Abstract

This study aims to determine the mechanism and effect of drying corn kernels using a grain dryer (Tray Dryer). This research is a type of experiment research consisting of 2 variables. Variable A is temperature with 3 variable levels (60 ° C, 65 ° C, 70 ° C) and variable B is drying time with 3 variable levels (3 hours, 4 hours and 5 hours). The research sample is corn seed off harvest with an initial water content of 21.1% dried using a rack-shaped dryer (Tray dryer). To find out the temperature changes that occur, the drying process is measured by the temperature of the drying chamber and the temperature of corn kernels using a thermometer. Before and after drying the water content was measured to determine the changes in corn seed moisture content of each treatment used. The results showed that the higher the temperature and the length of the drying process will cause the drying rate to be faster and the decrease in water content will be smaller or slower.
