Abstract

Planning is the element and function of management the first and main among other management functions, so that in the field of education becomes the key implementation of educational activities to achieve educational goals for each type and a certain level of education. The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of education planning in SDN 02 Jetis. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach which has natural characteristic as direct data source. The data in this research is taken from observation, interview, and documentation. Research findings are vision planning, mission and school objectives, quality improvement through training of educators and learners. Apply the 2013 curriculum well to cultivate a social, insightful and creative attitude towards learners. See from the growing competence of teachers, the ability of students learn both from the academic and non-academic side showed improvement, and relationships with related institutions, parents learners more closely.

Abstract

Policies taken by the government to prevent the spread of Covid-19 which is easily contagious have an impact on family income. This research is to determine the strategies undertaken by women in fulfilling their family meet during the Covid-19 pandemic in Andaman Village, Anjir Muara Pasar District, Barito Kuala Regency, South Kalimantan Province. The research method used in this study is a quantitative research method. There were 40 respondents with the sampling using quota sampling method. The data was collected by using a questionnaire which was arranged based on observations before the research was undertaken then the results were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that there were three strategies undertaken by respondents to fulfill their family ends meet during a pandemic, namely related to work, savings, and borrowing money. Related to work, there were three types of activities, namely 5 percent getting a main job, 45 percent getting a side job, and 32.5 percent adding more working hours. Meanwhile 100 percent of respondents started to make savings and 5 percent of respondents borrowed money.

Abstract

This research is motivated by low listening skills, especially in fable stories. This study aims to improve listening skills to fable stories using fantasy puppet media. This type of research uses PTK with the first cycle using fable story “Friendship of the Lion and the Rat”, second cycle using the story of the fable “The Greedy Crocodile”. The technique of collecting data was by seeing the class teacher learning without using fantasy puppet media and giving 10 PG questions. The results showed an increase in listening skills the first cycle the number of students who received a complete score was 4 students with a percentage of 57% completeness, in the second cycle the number of students who received a complete score was 7 students with a percentage of 100% completeness. It was concluded that the fantasy puppet media used in reading fable stories could improve students listening skills.

Abstract

In this era of guidance and counseling services in primary schools requires a better strategy. Therefore, this paper aims to describe the strategy of guidance and counseling in schools to deal with millennial generation 4.0. Guidance and counseling services that have received updates or innovations in their implementation certainly can overcome the problems that are being faced by students. This research uses the literature study method and the data collected is obtained from journals that are in accordance with this research. Literature sources obtained from journals, research, and books. This research includes the process of identifying theories that are prepared systematically, finding literature, and analyzing documents that contain information that is relevant to the research topic. The results of this study are in the form of strategies for developing guidance and counseling in elementary schools to deal with the milineal 4.0 era.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve Indonesian language skills in determining the elements of the story by applying the concept mapping method assisted by graphic media. The research conducted was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of one meeting. In cycle I, the results of student activities through evaluation were obtained from all students as many as 35 students, there were 20 students completed and 15 students had not completed, with a persetanse of 57% and 43%. In the second cycle, it was decided that the students experienced an increase in completeness as expected. In cycle II, there were 29 students who had completed and 6 students who had not yet completed, with a percentage of 83% and 17%. The application of the Concept Mapping learning model can improve the learning outcomes of Class 4 students in Indonesian muples in determining the elements of the story. Students will always remember as provisions for the future in everyday life, students are able to determine the elements of the story correctly.

Abstract

The disruption era is a challenge for the education sector because education is one of the areas that can support the quality of Indonesian human resources according to Kemenristekdikti priorities. This article aims to explore the development of personality competencies of preservice teachers in facing the challenges of disruption era. The function of teachers in the disruption era is different from that of teachers in the previous era, which is shifting to the function of cultivating ethical values, character, wisdom, experience, and social empathy because the function is impossible to do by machine. Thus, the challenge of educational institutions is to form the competence of preservice teacher personality which will build suitable exemplary based on expectation of teacher's role revolution in disruption era. There are four things that can be done in developing the personality competence of preservice teachers, some of them are: 1). religious matriculation programs, 2). application of student code of conduct, 3) Real Work Experience (KKN) program, and 4). integration of religious values in lectures.

Abstract

Ngepanrejo Village, Bandongan Magelang Subdistrict has hilly morphology with a slope between 20 ° to 25 °. This condition has the potential for landslides. This situation results in disruption of the community, including learning activities at educational institutions in the area. This study aims to determine primary school curriculum management in improving disaster preparedness in disaster-potential areas at SD Negeri Ngepanrejo. A qualitative descriptive research design with the subject of the principal, teachers, and students totaling 30 personnel. Data collection techniques by interview, observation, documentation and questionnaires. Test the validity of the data using source triangulation. The data analysis used was the Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data presentation, and data verification / conclusion drawing. The results of the study concluded that 1) curriculum planning, learning tools, assessment programs and structural organization were guided by KTSP, contained the Disaster Safe Education Unit (SPAB) program, and were organized. 2) The implementation of the curriculum goes well, 3) The curriculum evaluation uses the CIPP model and is able to have a positive impact on the generation of disaster preparedness.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are a necessary skill in the 21st century. However, students’s critical thinking skills at SD N Makamhaji 03 are still low. The purpose of this research is to improve critical thinking skills on science learning model of Predict, Observe, Explain (POE) in fifth grade students of State Primary School of Makamhaji 03 in the academic year 2017/2018. This research form is Classroom Action Research (CAR) and it was conducted in three cycles. Each cycle consists of four steps, they are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subject is the fifth grade students of State Primary School of Makamhaji 03 in the academic year 2017/2018 consists of 21 students. The data collecting technique used are observation, interview, and document. The data validity used triangulation of resources and triangulation of technique. The data analysis technique was interactive analysis model consisting of the three components, there are data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The result of this classroom action research shows that students’ critical thinking skills on science learning can be improved by implementation of POE model. It can be seen from students’ classical mastery from pre-action to cycle III meeting II, and the result is 85%. The conclusion of this research revealed that through Predict, Observe, Explain (POE) model can improve the critical thinking skills in science throuhgt in the fifth grade students of State Primary School of Makamhaji 03 in the academic year 2017/2018.
