Abstract

This study aims to improve speaking skills through the use of audiovisual media in class IB SD Negeri Suro, Kalibagor District. Speaking skills observed in this study include linguistic and non-linguistic aspects. In the linguistic aspect, it consists of stress, speech, vocabulary / diction, and sentence structure, while in the non-linguistic aspect it consists of fluency, disclosure of speech material, courage and attitude. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of 2 cycles. The subjects of this study were 22 students of SD Negeri Suro class IB. The research design used includes the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The data collection instruments used were performance tests, teacher and student observation sheets and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative data analysis. This study shows that the use of audiovisual media can improve the speaking skills of grade IB SD Negeri Suro students in terms of process and outcome. The process improvement is seen from the average results of student activity observations which are included in the good category in the first cycle with a percentage of 45.5% increasing in the second cycle to 68% and are included in the very good category. In terms of results, it is evidenced by the average value of students' speaking skills in pre-action 67.54 increased to 73.05 in cycle I and increased to 75.64 in cycle II.

Abstract

The objective of this research are improve critical thinking IPA by applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. This research in Classroom Action Research with three cycles. The subject of this research were students of V class at SDN 2 Tegalsari, totalling 35 students. The research uses data collection techniques test and nontes. Result of thorough were in the intitial conditions of critcal thinking skills V class students showed 43% clasically. The first cycle resulting in a percentage of 40% in classial. The second cycle bresulting in a percentage of 86% in classical. The study continued with third cycle with the percentage of  achivement at the first learning amounting 97%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to improve understanding of the concept of force through Predict Observe Explain (POE) Model to the students in grade IV of State Primary School 1 of Munggung Surakarta in Academic Year 2017/2018. The form of this research was a Classroom Action Research which conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages i.e. planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research included teacher and students as many as 20 in Grade IV of the aforementioned school in Academic Year 2017/2018. The data collected by interview, observation, test, and documentation techniques. The data validity test were using content validity, triangulation of resource, and triangulation of technique.The result of this research shows that in each cycle there is an improvement in the conceptual understanding values from pre-action, cycle I until cycle II.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the entrepreneurship education strategy carried out by schools in shaping entrepreneurial character at SD Muhammadiyah Kebumen in order to be able to help students gain knowledge about entrepreneurship from an early age. This research is a qualitative descriptive study conducted at SD Muhammadiyah Kebumen. Data collection methods used, namely observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The results of this study indicate: (1) educational strategies at SD Muhammadiyah Kebumen in the formation of entrepreneurial character through entrepreneurship education integrated with learning, namely Preparing educators with entrepreneurial spirit through Market Day activities, Extracurricular Entrepreneurship, and Entrepreneurship Exhibitions and the formation of Entrepreneurial Educators. Entrepreneurship by Developing learning tools, Providing Continuing Entrepreneurship Education and Training for Educators, and Appreciation; (2) the results of the formation of entrepreneurial character through entrepreneurship education stated that the honesty aspect reached 81%, the self-confidence aspect reached 85%, the competitive aspect was 81%, the creative aspect was 83%, the aspect of future orientation was 80% and the aspect of orientation was 77%

Abstract

Freedom of learning is an educational policy that was initiated in 2019. Free education is inseparable from the bonds of character values. Even though the policy of independent learning was able to produce several new regulations in the world of education, the implementation of character values as a form of virtuous human resources cannot be eliminated. The implementation of these character values can be applied in the process of teaching and learning activities in schools. The character values that are applied in independent learning include: (1) having faith, being devoted to God Almighty, and having a noble character, (2) global diversity,(3) mutual cooperation, (4) independent, (5) critical reasoning, (6) creative. All of these values can be applied in teaching and learning activities in schools.

Abstract

Creativity is one of the values in character education. But the fact is, according to Yohana (2013: 2) most children's artistic creativity is only extracted through drawing or coloring. Children will surely get bored if they only draw or color, therefore a breakthrough makes creativity through collage skills. The objectives of this study are: 1) Describe what collage skills are 2) Describe the creativity of early childhood; 3) Explain that collage skills can foster early childhood creativity. The method used is literature study which comes from books, literacy, notes, and reports that can be solved. The results of this study are; 1) Description of collage skills; 2) Description of the creativity of early childhood; 3) Collage skills can foster early childhood creativity. The conclusion of this study is that collage skills can foster early childhood creativity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve learning outcomes with reward techniques in integrative thematic learning for grade I SDN 1 Sawangan students. The research carried out was Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was carried out through 3 learning cycles which were preceded by an initial cycle or pre-cycle. Learning steps taken as action or corrective measures include cycle I, cycle II and cycle III to determine the development of students. Each cycle includes planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. In cycle I, students who completed the postest were 28.57%. In cycle II, students who completed the postest were 57.14%. In cycle III, students who completed the postest were 85.71%. These results indicate that the reward technique can improve student learning outcomes, especially in learning the theme of my family, the sub-theme of class I family members at SDN 1 Sawangan, Patikraja District.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the science learning outcomes of animal classification materials based on the type of food for grade V SDN 01 Ambowetan students through the use of powerpoint media. The subjects in this study were students of class V SDN 01 Ambowetan consisting of 20 boys and 25 girls. Classroom Action Research Methods implemented in 3 cycles. The research design starts from the planning stage, action implementation, observation, and reflection. In learning activities, the use of powerpoint learning media and learning outcomes has increased in each cycle. In cycle I (70%), cycle II (90%) and cycle III (100%). Completeness of learning in cycle I (71.11%), cycle II and cycle III (100%) while the class average in cycle I (73.69), cycle II (82.49), and cycle III (86.67) ). The conclusion that can be drawn is that learning with the use of powerpoint media can improve science learning outcomes. Abstract

This study aims to develop the curriculum of Bejalen Public Elementary School in Semarang Regency based on the values of local wisdom. The development of this curriculum is based on the characters and resources in the local area, both natural and human resources. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and FGD (Forum Group Discussion). Observations show that local areas have maritime potential as natural resources. Thus, most of the livelihoods of Bejalen Elementary School students are fishermen. The results of interviews with local residents include utilization of natural resources and empowerment of human resources. The results of the FGD with the local district staff members produced data that the local area had become one of the tourist areas in Semarang Regency called Pelangi Tourism Village. All of this data is the material for developing the curriculum of Bejalen Public Elementary School. The results of this study explain that the curriculum development of Bejalen Public Elementary School in Semarang Regency is based on the values of local wisdom which includes the cultivation of natural resources and the empowerment of human resources. The recommendation for further research is research on developing elementary school curriculum based on local wisdom in other schools.
