Abstract

The effects of the COVID-19 virus pandemic are quite bad for people's lives both in Indonesia and especially in North Sumatra. The spread of the virus is quite fast from the interaction of every community, causing the government to make policies to limit the activities of each community. In addition to policies in limiting community activities, the government also makes policies by distributing vaccines for free to every community starting from the first vaccine, the second and last vaccine is the third vaccine (booster). The purpose of the vaccine itself is to stimulate the body's antibodies to recognize the weakened virus in the vaccine. The aim of the vaccine is to slow the spread of the virus itself. The third vaccine (booster) is a complementary vaccine given by the government so that antibodies can completely inhibit a person from being affected by the COVID-19 virus. Therefore, it is necessary to accelerate the process of administering the third vaccine (booster). This can be done by forming clusters in each region. The purpose of forming clusters is to be able to identify priority areas that should be given the third vaccine (booster). Therefore we need a technique that is able to group/cluster the third vaccine administration zone (booster). One technique that can be used is the K-Medoids Algorithm. The expected results of the research using the K-Medoids Algorithm are able to form a cluster zone which will later be able to find out which areas are the priority for giving the third vaccine (booster).

Abstract

The head of the study program is a figure who plays an important role in the progress of each study program at a university. The head of the study program has a role in the decision-making process and in carrying out managerial policies. In addition, the head of the study program is also a person who is able to ensure the creation of a conducive atmosphere in the service process to students and also the scope of work in the study program. Therefore, awarding the head of the study program based on the performance shown is a form of appreciation for the performance given by the head of the study program. The process of evaluating the performance of the head of the study program is not only an assessment of the academic field but also an assessment of the managerial. In the process of evaluating the performance of the head of the study program, a computerized tool is needed or commonly called a Decision Support System. The decision support system also has several settlement methods that are used as a reference, one of the methods that can be used is the WASPAS method. In addition to the methods used to support decisions, there are also methods that can be used for weighting each assessment criteria such as the ROC method. In this research, we will use the ROC weighting method on the assessment criteria and the process of evaluating the performance of the head of the study program using the WASPAS method. The results achieved in the research are to obtain an objective and accountable process of evaluating the performance of the study program leader. In the research that has been carried out, it is found that the Head of the Study Program who gets the reward is the Head of the Study Program with alternative A2 and the preferred value is 0.958

Abstract

Mushrooms are plants that have high nutritional content and have various benefits for the health of the human body. However, not everyone knows the types of mushrooms that are suitable for consumption. The types of mushrooms have their own characteristics when viewed from the image. For this reason, a system is needed by utilizing digital image processing to classify types of mushrooms suitable for consumption, so that people can find out which types of mushrooms are suitable for consumption. This research is to classify types of mushrooms suitable for consumption using the Multiclass SVM algorithm with first-order feature extraction, which performs feature extraction based on the characteristics of the image histogram. The result of feature extraction is used as input for classification in Multiclass SVM. Multiclass SVM can map data points to dimensionless space to obtain hyperplane linear separation between each class. The developed method is implemented in Matlab, in order to produce a system in the form of a GUI so that it can be used by general users easily. Based on the test results, the average accuracy is 83%.

Abstract

Cooperative activities have become the activities most needed by many people because they are related to money, cooperatives are places that provide loans to housewives and also workers in a certain area or environment, the lack of interest offered by this cooperative is considered very easy. and very helpful for many parties in facilitating financial affairs, especially in financial matters, because the convenience offered by the cooperative makes many interested people ask for the same thing resulting in vulnerability to fraud, the importance of making predictions on prospective new business loan applications can help reduce the worst risks from various risks that occur in the future, in this study the k-nearest neighbor algorithm will be used as a prediction algorithm for prospective business credit applications at cooperatives, the value obtained is the value of training data or data records of several previous customers so as to easier to know new data as test data in a study. The results found in this study for prospective business credit applications are "Not Eligible" seen to the closest value based on the smallest value with (closest distance) between one another as many as 3 distances, namely numbers 1, 2 and 3 where number 1 states "Not feasible ”, at the second closest distance stating “Eligible” and number 3 stating “Not Eligible”, the most results stated Not Eligible so that the decision value on new customers had to be rejected “Not eligible” to be accepted

Abstract

Determining the selection of quality laying hens is a decision that must be carried out so that production results will increase and the quality of the eggs produced, there are lots of criteria that must be owned for the complexity and importance of the problem requiring analytical methods rather than intuitive decisions. as a condition for obtaining the scholarship. Each laying hens must have criteria to determine the quality of laying hens. Decision Support System Determining the Quality of Laying Hens with the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) Method is an element that greatly influences the smooth running of the task. The division in this study will be appointed a case, namely looking for the best alternative based on predetermined criteria using the SAW (Simple Additive) method. Weighting) The research was conducted by finding the weight value for each attribute, then a ranking process was carried out which would determine the optimal alternative, namely the best quality laying hens.

Abstract

Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) is currently a pandemic in the world, including in Indonesia. Various policies have been carried out to break the chain of the spread of Covid-19, one of which is the government's policy of implementing Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM). PPKM is one of the most discussed topics on social media, including Twitter. Tweets on Twitter given by the public to the PPKM policy that was held to evaluate the implementation of PPKM, it is necessary to classify public sentiment using text mining, in this study using the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) and Naïve Bayes Classifier (NBC) algorithms with data from tweets. Twitter during the PPKM last year with 3,516 data. Where the results are that the NBC algorithm is better than the KNN algorithm with an accuracy of 79.67% compared to 78.86%, the polarity of public sentiment towards PPKM is also obtained with positive sentiment of 36.83% with a total of 1,295, neutral sentiment of tweets 54.15% with the number of 1,902 tweets, and 9.02% negative sentiment with a total of 317 tweets

Abstract

The problems that are often faced by the campus in the management of selecting the best students which are carried out once a year in a series of graduation events are the length of the process of calculating student data which is still done manually, criteria that have not been fulfilled optimally and are still based on value calculations alone, and processing is still manual. so that errors and data errors often occur which are quite fatal, subjective selection is still a common problem in the world of education so it is necessary to select outstanding students using a system. The system used is a decision support system that has the quality and logic of a method in a selective selection process with a high level of accuracy, while the method used is the MOOSRA method which is a decision support system method that is easy to understand and systematic stages that are easy to do. Abstract

Data and information in the development of digital technology have an important role. Every activity or activity that uses digital technology is related to data and information, so information security and data confidentiality are very important. To maintain information security and data confidentiality, protection with cryptographic techniques is needed. Cryptographic techniques are related to encryption, which is where the process of scrambling data is carried out and hiding data with a key system, while decryption is the process of changing the condition of the data to its original form so that it is easy to understand. There are obstacles and problems ini digital communication, so cryptographic techniques are needed that have higher level of security and can be applied in digital communications. To determine the level of security in cryptographic techniques required frequency anlysis. Frequency analysis on the NGG and GGHN algorithms is carried out to determine the level of information security based on the results of data encryption. BAse on the testing process on the NGG and GGHN algorithms, it will be known that the frequency of characters in the text varies. The more characters used in the key will affect the level of information security. The NGG algorithm has a higher level of security than the GGHN algorithm with a precentage difference of 0.000299967%. If the frequency of occurrence of characters in the message text that has been encrypted is more frequent or higher, then the level of information security in the message is lower and the password is easier to crack.

Abstract

Information technology is one of the needs and has an important role in the field of education. One form of utilizing technological developments in the field of education is through computer-based learning media. Computer-based learning media is a tool that helps the learning process between teachers and students in the digital era. Various types of computer-based learning media are available, but the similarities in the types of variations become obstacles in the selection process. The selection of learning media has several important elements that will determine the suitability of the science and material to be studied. The selection process with a decision support system using several criteria will help in making decisions. The TOPSIS method can identify solutions from available alternatives based on criteria. Elements of learning media which are the criteria for each alternative, namely, sound, images, video, text, animation, graphics, graphics, tutorials, interactive, visual and practical. The media element is an indicator in this research. Based on the application of the method, the results of implementation and testing in the selection process have a more spesific value between each alternative, namely the PPT alternative has a preference value of 0, the CD alternative gas a preference value of 0.4299, the video alternative has a preference value of 1 and the internet alternative has a result preference value 0.6205. Then the TOPSIS methid in selecting computer-based learning media can assist teachers in directing students to choose the type of learning media that is suitable for learning interests. The overall appearance of the system has been adapted to the needs of students to make it easier to understand and use.

Abstract

The PPA Scholarship is a support for educational costs that is given to students who have taken at least semester 2 in Higher Education with consideration of limited economic capacity and have academic and non-academic achievements. In classifying students who are eligible for PPA scholarships, the management has difficulties because the limited PPA scholarships are not proportional to the number of students. One solution in classifying students who are eligible for PPA scholarships is to utilize the data of students who have received PPA scholarships in the previous year. However, in the classification process, data research is needed, one of the data research techniques is data mining. Where data mining is an interesting pattern extraction of large amounts of data [1]. One of the algorithms in data mining used in classification is the J48 algorithm. The J48 algorithm is the implementation of the C4.5 algorithm in the WEKA tools, besides the J48 algorithm is the decision tree implementation in the rapidminer tools. This algorithm is expected to help the management of the PPA scholarship at STMIK Budi Darma in classifying students who really deserve to receive the PPA scholarship. As a result, one of the criteria for a student to be classified as receiving a PPA scholarship is to have achievement
