Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the evaluation of learning management about learning management in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Gorontalo City, to describe the inhibiting factors for the successful implementation of learning in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Gorontalo City, and to describe the evaluation of learning in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Gorontalo City. This research is categorized as a descriptive evaluative research with the approach used is a quantitative approach. Sources of data in this evaluation study came from: 1) documents that are administrative requirements of a program, 2) questionnaires (questionnaires) distributed to informants (students, principals, and teachers), and 3) interviews with the three informants. Data collection techniques used were questionnaire, observation, interview and documentation. While the data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive analysis of percentages. The results of this study indicate that overall learning management in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Gorontalo City is classified as good, viewed from the aspect of learning planning, then followed by the implementation of learning until the evaluation of learning is classified successfully applied and beneficial to students in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Gorontalo City especially in educators and grade VII and VIII students. Good criteria from the results of this study indicate that learning management is expected to be in accordance with the content standards in the curriculum in reality, namely in accordance with the stages of student development and conformity to the environment, as well as national development needs. Besides that learning management is planned, systematic and directed and is based on clear objectives. This can be seen from the planning / preparation of learning conducted by the teacher in the form of syllabus and lesson plans, implementation of learning that has been successful and good assessment / learning outcomes.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe the strategic efforts in improving the quality of school teachers in the pesantren environment, the problems of improving the quality of school teachers in the pesantren environment, the efforts and strategic steps of pesantren leaders in improving the quality of school teachers. The research method uses a descriptive-qualitative approach. Data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data were then analyzed using Miles and Huberman analysis models. The results showed that the quality of school teachers in the pesantren environment could be done by fostering teacher quality, supervising teacher quality, providing facilities and infrastructure, planting commitments, and providing benefits.

Abstract

This article aims to explain how a school principal is able to shape the character of teachers and students through the application of pedagogical leadership in schools. Pedagogical leadership is leadership that is able to provide examples of positive behavior to all components in the school, both teachers, education staff and students. The discussion method was taken through a study of the library with various references relating to the formation of the character of the teacher and students, as well as their relationship with the principal's pedagogical leadership. The results of the literature review from various books and journals provide a clarity of the concept that to shape the character of teachers, education staff and students in schools a pedagogical leadership behavior model is needed, namely the principal's leadership that is able to provide role models through positive behavior, such as honesty, good heartedness, accustomed to the truth and mastered in the scientific field they have. The results of the study prove that the formation of teacher and student character is strongly influenced by the ability of principals to implement pedagogical leadership in a school-led environment.

Abstract

In general, this study aims to determine the marketing management of religious culture-based education services at SDIT Luqman Al-Hakim International Yogyakarta. In addition, this study intends to determine the importance of marketing management of religious culture-based education services at SDIT Luqman Al-Hakim International Yogyakarta. This research applied a qualitative field method. The samples were determined using purposive sampling and snowball techniques. The data were collected using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. In this study, the researcher used a descriptive-qualitative data analysis technique with an inductive approach to analyze the data. The results of this study indicated that: (1) SDIT LHI conducts marketing management based on religious culture to fulfill the needs of education customers who will build a generation of Muslims that has strong and noble characters, masters the principles, has scientific basis, contributes to the good of the world, and is devoted to Allah SWT. There are 7 elements used in marketing management, namely: 1) Product, 2) Price; 3) place; 4) Promotion; 5) Human Resource; 6) Physical Evidence; 7) Process. (2) The implementation of religious culture is carried out by school through the dimensions of monotheism, the Shari'ah, and morality contained in the curriculum, vision, mission, school purpose, school programs, and the learning process. (3) Factors that support the marketing of education services at SDIT LHI, which are a. Application of PHI curriculum; b. Competent human resources; c. Complete educational facilities; d. Promotional activities that use many strategies; e. Easily accessible school locations; and f. A lot of achievements in the public and religious fields. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are a. The lack of student input due to fairly expensive tuition fees; b. Temporary teaching staff; c. Competition with other educational institutions; d. Marketing management lacks employees; e. Different interpretations of school purposes by school administrators and parents.

Abstract

Stakeholder ideas and ideas in their reactualization never stop contributing discourse to change in the field of education. The leaders of educational institutions have full responsibility in carrying out improving the quality of education. This study aims to introduce leadership typologies in improving the quality of Islamic education in madrasas, ranging from the type of leadership, the leadership process of madrasa heads to the implementation of leadership in madrassas in improving quality. This research uses a literature study method. As for the results of this study indicate the role of leadership in carrying out its duties to members include: (a) Making decisions. (b) Developing the imagination; (c) Developing the loyalty of followers; (d) Control of the plan; (e) Utilizing human resources and other resources. (f) Carry out controls and corrections for errors; (g) Give a token of appreciation; (h) Delegating authority to subordinates; (i) Implement decisions by giving encouragement to followers.

Abstract

The community is one of the main keys in developing educational institutions. High public participation in educational institutions, it is not impossible to deliver educational institutions to become quality institutions, still exist in the midst of competition between educational institutions, and become the most favorite institution in the community. This can be achieved if all stakeholders in educational institutions also exist in advancing the institution, in relation to the community. PR has a very big war in realizing this, but the facts show that most educational institutions have PR but have not been able to get people to participate in advancing education. This study aims to find out how much the role of stakeholders in educational institutions in building public relations, especially in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Bone, and further to find out what participation is given by the community for the advancement of these educational institutions. The method used in this research is a qualitative case study. The results obtained showed that Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Watampone, which implemented good public relations management, was able to make the community participate in advancing education at the institution.

Abstract

This study aimed to recognize the situation of alumni of STIBA Makassar in the working world and the utilization of competencies obtained during their studies in University College of Islamic Sciences and Arabic Language (STIBA). This study employed survey as a type of research, and then was described in a descriptive qualitative way. The stages were simply: 1) Development of concepts and instruments of survey; 2) data collection; and 3) data analysis and report. The results showed that: 1) Most alumni of STIBA Makassar, as many as 71%, have entered working world, while the other 29% do not or do not yet worked; 2) Competency achievements of alumni of STIBA Makassar in general are in the good and high category; and 3) The main learning methods used at STIBA Makassar based on the answers of alumni respondents are still dominated by lectures, field work, and discussions.

Abstract

Employee satisfaction of the suitability between the business and the outcome of his work is not necessarily felt by the employees, but not separated from the affect it. Employees will feel satisfied when their work is appreciated. The satisfaction felt by the employees can be determined by various factors, among them is giving incentives. Providing incentives will make employees feel the attention and recognition of achievements that are achieved so that the spirit of work and loyalty will be better. Employee will feel the satisfaction of his job if achievement achieved can be rewarded by giving incentives. Giving incentives to improve employee satisfaction does not only apply to organizations with profit, but also on nonprofit organizations (including educational institutions). Therefore, giving incentives is an important element that needs to be considered when trying to give satisfaction to the employees in their work.

Abstract

The use of teaching methods based on the formation of students' abilities, such as having creativity. Each teaching method has advantages and disadvantages so that it can be taken into consideration in choosing the method. The weaknesses of the method must be anticipated and reviewed by the teacher so that its use can be effective. Simulation learning method can be used as a teaching method with the assumption that not all learning processes can be carried out directly on the actual object. Likewise, to develop an understanding and appreciation of an event that leads more to psychomotor, the use of a simulation learning model will be very useful.

Abstract

This study is aimed to analyze type design and also the usabilty of  the website in Madrasah Aliyah Kejuruan Unggulan Informatika Jakarta website. The method of research used in this study is content analysis. the way  data gained from obsrvation and queesionnaire. The result of the study shows that type of website used in Madrasah Aliyah Kejuruan Unggulan Informatika Jakarta is dynamic using domain sch.id, and the usability of the website is good as one of the system information used in this madrasah.
