This journal focuses on the study of the science of Islamic education management. The editorial board welcomes contributions in the form of articles from  scientists,  scholars,  professionals,  and  researchers  in  Islamic  education  management  disciplines to be published and disseminated after going through the manuscript selection mechanism, sustainable partner studies, and editing processes. All articles published in this journal are the views of the authors and do not represent this journal or the author's affiliated institutions. Education is very important in improving the quality of human resource. The quality of education is a hope and a dream for community. Total Quality Management can improve school performance if it is applied appropriately. This research aimed to find out the programming, implementation programs, and factors affecting the implementation of Total Quality Management. This research employed descriptive method with qualitative approach. Technique of data collection used was interview, observation, and documentation. The research subjects were principal, teachers, and staffs. The results showed that: (1) the Muhammadiyah Elementary School Bantul refer to the principles of Total Quality Management in programming. (2) The implementation of Total Quality Management involved all school elements. The beneficial implementation of Total Quality Management was to increase teachers’ performance in order to affect students’ achievement and school performance. (3) The factors affecting were motivating factor and inhibiting factor. Motivating factors include a good quality of teachers and principal, an adequate infrastructure, a high level of trust and public interest of parents and school committee. The inhibiting factors include inadequate human resources and the incompatibility of teachers and staff’s performance with Total Quality Management.

This study aims to determine: the relationship between the principal's leadership and teacher performance, the relationship between the principal's leadership and the student's character based on local culture, the relationship between the teacher's performance and the student's character based on the local culture, and the relationship between the principal's leadership and the student's character based on local culture through teacher performance. This research is a quantitative research with a correlational design. The research approach is a managerial, pedagogical, sociological, and psychological approach. The data collection instruments used were questionnaires, observation guidelines, interviews, and documentation. Research data analysis is by using editing, coding, and tabulating. The results of data analysis show that there is a significant influence of principal leadership with teacher performance, principal leadership with student character based on local culture, teacher performance with student character, and principal leadership with student character based on local culture through teacher performance with a significance value of 0.000 0.05 which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The results of the data are significant: there is a significant relationship between the principal's leadership variable and teacher performance; there is a significant relationship between the principal's leadership variable and the student's character; There is a significant relationship between the teacher's performance variable and the student's character; there is a relationship between the principal's leadership variable and the student's character through teacher performance.

This study describes the management of community empowerment in maintaining the existence of schools at SD IT Rabbani. The author applied qualitative research. The data was analyzed in the process of data reduction method, presentation of data and drawing conclusions. Furthermore, deductive thinking is used, namely taking some general facts which are then analyzed to apply specific things. SD IT Rabbani adheres to a community empowerment management system in maintaining school existence, where the school provides sufficient space for parents to take part in the planning process, policy determination to decision making. Therefore, with the management of Community Empowerment Management, it turns out to be able to have a very significant impact, especially in achieving the school's vision, objectives and goals so as to be able to maintain the existence of SD IT Rabbani. Covid-19 pandemic that hit the whole world without exception, Indonesia devastated all aspects of life, including the education sector.  The government has swiftly changed the learning system to online at all levels of education, including early childhood education programs. The shift of the system requires the principal to participate in changing the strategy in order to continue to carry out its functions, including the function of academic supervision so that it can still ensure the ongoing quality of education in the institution.  The purpose of this study is to describe how the planning, implementation and evaluation of academic supervision is carried out by the principal of TK Al-Ikhsan Tomporeng Deceng in the midst of the Covid 19 pandemic. This study used a qualitative approach with an exploratory case study method. The research was conducted at TK Al-Ikhsan Tomporeng Deceng in the 2021/2022 academic year. The techniques of collecting data used were interview and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of academic supervision during the Covid 19 pandemic by the Principal of TK Al-Ikhsan Tomporeng Deceng continued well. This can be seen from 3 stages, including: (1) Planning: The principal arranged the form and timing of supervision during the pandemic and the instruments used. (2) Implementation: Checked the teacher's learning program, conducting class observations and held individual meetings (3) Evaluation: Provided feedback on the results of academic supervision so that teacher performance during this pandemic can be repaired or improved.

The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of the parental coaching program carried out at Al Falah School in Jakarta to find out the background, goals, obstacles and benefits of the parental development program at Al Falah School which is called the Program Pelatihan Guru dan Orang Tua (PPOT). The method used in this research is a case study. Cooperation between the school and parents of students is very important to achieve educational goals. The synergy of education at home and school is needed so that educational programs in schools can be continued at home or vice versa. Family education is the basis and key to further education. So that the center of education should be at home. But today the center of education is moving from home to school. Parents are not ready to become educators for their children. Al - Falah School requires parents to be involved in their children's education, not only fully surrendering education to the school. Parents must be able to be good teachers for their children because parents are the first teachers, schools help parents as second teachers. In order to increase the capacity of parents, schools require parents to take part in a training program called Program Pelatihan Guru dan Orang Tua (PPOT). This study examines the effect of teacher commitment and learning strategies on school achievement and quality in integrated Islamic elementary schools in Sumenep district. This research is a quantitative study. Data collection techniques by giving questionnaires to teachers. The population of this research is all teachers who teach in integrated Islamic elementary schools in Sumenep Regency with a sample of 46 teachers. The analysis used is descriptive analysis and partial least square analysis with SmartPLS software. The results of this study indicate that teacher commitment and student achievement have a positive and significant effect on school quality. Learning strategies do not have a direct influence on school quality. Teacher commitment and learning strategies have a positive and significant effect on achievement. Achievement mediates the effect of teacher commitment on school quality significantly. Income is the cash inflow obtained from services and asset utilization while expenditure is the expense allocated for running the wheels of the organization which is carried out fairly and evenly so that it can be relatively enjoyed by the community, especially in providing educational services. The purpose of this study was to analyze the realization of the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget at the Bone State Islamic Institute. The data used is the report on the realization of the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget for 2018-2020. School/madrasah-based management is a management model that gives schools/madrasah greater autonomy and encourages direct participation of school members and the community to improve school quality based on national education policies, laws and regulations. MBS implementation strategies may differ between countries and regions. In fact, schools in the same area may have different strategies. A qualified madrasah is strongly influenced by the leader’s role of the Madrasah per se because managerial abilities are a significant factor in determining the success of education. One of which is by making educational innovations at the Madrasah (school) that he leads. The head of a Madrasah that has seriousness and high working performance will be capable of making good innovations. Besides, such innovations should also be espoused by reliable managerial abilities in order to capably realize an effective, conducive, and dynamic Madrasah. This study sought to find out a depiction of the managerial innovations made by the principal of MIS of Lebong Tambang in Lebong Regency, Bengkulu, in an effort to maintain the existence of Madrasah he leads. This study used a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques deployed observation, interview, and documentation techniques, and then the data were analyzed in ways according to Miles, Haberman and Saldana. This study concluded that the principal together with all teachers strived to make innovations through: preparation of school planning; development of school organization; effective involvement of teachers and staffs at school; management of facilities and infrastructure; student management; curriculum development; and management of school financial and administration.

The discussion in this article is motivated by the existence of an Independent Learning Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar) policy, one of which will be implemented in universities. Specifically, it will reveal various problems in the implementation of the Independent Learning Curriculum in universities.The method used in this study is a literature review or library in which data collection is obtained from various appropriate literature, both in the form of written text and soft copy. Through a literature study that has been carried out by the author, it can be seen that the Independent Learning Curriculum policy includes the provision of autonomy for State University (PTN) or Private University (PTS) to open new study programs provided that the university is accredited A or B and has collaborated with organizations or universities that are included in the QS top 100 world Universities;higher education re-accreditation system is automatic for all ranks except for PT and study programs that will be promoted; freedom to become a State University with Legal Entity(PTN-BH); and the right to study three semesters outside the study program. The problems of implementing the Independent Learning Curriculum in Higher Education are a) the mechanism of collaboration between universities and study programs with parties outside the campus; b) paradigm shift in PTN with legal entities to compete on an international scale; c) internship mechanism outside the study program.
