Abstract

A decision support system (DSS) is a problem processing system between two components consisting of one or more general problem manipulation capabilities required in decision making. Decision making is basically a form of selecting from various alternative actions. DSS has various methods of solving problems. In this literature review, research focuses on the use of the Weighted Product (WP) and Weighted Sum Model (WSM) methods in decision-making systems. Systematic reviews are limited to research in the form of articles that have been reviewed and published in journals. Eight articles were obtained to be reviewed in this study. The results of the literature show that the two methods have different decision outcomes. Another result is that the WP method has better decision outcomes than WSM in solving problems

Abstract

This study aims to see the picture and influence of Family-Work Conflicts, Work Family Sinergy, and Organization Commitment on Job Performance in Kupang City, East Nusa Tenggara Province. The population in the study was office workers who were already married and had children. The sample in this study amounted to 200 respondents who were willing to answer 22 statements on the questionnaire through google form.  The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The data analysis used is the analysis of SEM (Stuctural Equation Model) Partial Least Square (PLS) causality using Smart PLS 3.0 software. The results of statistical testing show that the variables Work family Synergy and Comitment Organization have a positive and significant effect on the variable Job Performance. This result is different from the Family-Work Conflicts variable which has a negative and insignificant influence on the Job Performance variable. Future research is expected to develop variables such as Job Stress, personality, Job Burnout and Mental Health. and can calcify more specific research objects such as field workers, part-time workers, single parents and shift workers to be able to compare the findings.

Abstract

The school library is a very important facility in supporting the process of improving the quality of education to produce quality young people. The YPK Pematang Siantar Private Middle School Library has ± 200 book titles in several categories, so that these books can be used optimally there must be a system that regulates the number of book stocks, the number of book loans each month, so that it can be seen which student's reading interest is the most popular in each category . YPK Pematang Siantar Middle School has not implemented an optimal computerized system or everything is still manual. By applying grouping of students' reading interest using the clustering method at SMP YPK Pematang Siantar, it is hoped that the process in the library will be more effective, fast, and precise. Clustering is the most suitable method for optimizing library services. The purpose of this research is to classify which category of books YPK SMP students are most interested in. After calculating the 20 book categories for 3 months, the final result is C1 or the most popular, namely the 3 book categories most in demand. most interested (C2) with 8 book categories, and finally C3 which is less desirable there are 9 book categories. By creating clusters of books which are the most desirable and not desirable, it can improve library services and students' interest in reading and also prevent accumulation of books that are not of interest every year

The purpose of this research to know and explain the effect of work stress, organisational culture and work environment on employee performance. The research is descriptive quantitative type, with explanatory nature. 250 employees at PT Otani are the population in the study. The sampling technique used the Slovin formula which resulted in a sample of 154 people. Interview techniques, questionnaires and documentation studies were conducted to obtain research data. Data analysis methods are multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination test, partial test and simultaneous test. The research resulted in Work Stress, Organisational Culture and Work Environment both independently and simultaneously affecting the performance of employees of PT Otani. The variation of independent variables on the dependent variable is 43.6%, the remaining 56.4% is explained by other factors not included in this study, such as leadership, work conflict, compensation, and others.

Abstract

Research in the field of HR Management is the basis for research to improve employee performance. Various methods are carried out with motivation and work supervision as variables that are expected to improve performance at PT. POS Indonesia in Palangka Raya City. Quantitative research on 35 employees and the analytical tools used by SPSS. 22.0. The results prove the importance of the role of motivation and supervision by 62%. The research implications provide benefits for improving performance which currently tends to be weak in performance by providing motivation and intensive supervision of work in accordance with the vision and mission. This research can support performance improvement in the field of HR and further research can mediate competencies

Abstract

House is the basic need for humans as a place to live or shelter, and it serves as a primary location for activities after being outside. As time passes and the population becomes more crowded, the need for housing also increases. Many people require housing, whether purchasing ready-made houses, building new ones, or renovating an old house. This research addresses these issues through application development that utilizes data from the surrounding environment.

Abstract

Data is an authentic fact or evidence which must be stored and kept secure in order to avoid unwanted disturbances or threats. To avoid threats from parties who abuse or are not responsible, there are many ways to secure data, one way to do this is to create an encryption method. Methods of data security can be seen from the confidentiality of data against a threat that can be used with the blowfish algorithm. Blowfish is a 64-bit block chipper with variable key length. This algorithm can encrypt data in text form. This encryption produces ciphertext that is easy to understand and understand. Ciphertext is changing the form of text into codes that are difficult to understand and can be returned to their original position if using the same key when the data is encrypted. Data encryption techniques in databases are one of the steps used to secure and maintain data confidentiality. With this database encryption, code can be generated so that people who do not have access rights cannot access the database because the key has been generated. Database is a storage place for collections of data and information. The entire academy information system is stored in the database. Therefore, to maintain the security of the academy information database on the Medicom campus, cryptography with the Blowfish algorithm is needed. In this regard, the authors are very interested in carrying out an implementation of a document data / information security with cryptographic techniques using the Blowfish and Base64 algorithm methods. This algorithm technique was chosen because modern cryptography is a symmetric key in the form of a block cipher. This built Blowfish algorithm can encrypt text in text form. Encryption is done using a certain key, resulting in ciphertext.

Abstract

In today's business environment, consumers find what they are looking for faster and can reach the same products. In this situation, competition is increasing in traditional areas and anywhere where communication spreads. This study aims to test and analyze the increase in purchasing decisions on Fatigon Hydro Coco isotonic drink products, by exploring conceptual models. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative with survey. 156 respondents were taken with purposive sampling.  From the results of this study, the authors concluded. The first hypothesis is that brand extension has a significant effect on brand image. The second hypothesis is that product quality has a significant effect on brand image. The third hypothesis is that brand awareness has no effect on brand image. The fourth hypothesis is that brand expansion has a significant effect on purchasing decisions. The fifth hypothesis is that product quality has a significant effect on purchasing decisions. The sixth hypothesis is that brand awareness has no effect on purchasing decisions. The seventh hypothesis is that brand image has a significant effect on purchasing decisions. This research is expected to make a theoretical contribution to the literature in this context

Therefore, human resource management in an organization has become one of the most critical functions of a company. The purpose of this study is to determine the variables that affect employee performance and develop a basic theoretical model and a research model. This study uses an associative descriptive quantitative method with a sample of 152 respondents who are employees of PT PLN Cilegon Managing Unit. Improving employee performance can be done by adjusting and upholding the application of organizational cultural values. To be able to improve employee performance can be done by increasing transformational leadership. Enhancing corporate culture can be done by adjusting and upholding the application of organizational cultural values. To be able to improve employee performance can be done by increasing work motivation. This research is expected to provide a theoretical contribution to the literature in the context of human resource management.
