Abstract

This research aims to discuss and analyze the internal mechanisms of good corporate governance such as: the influence of the effectiveness of the audit committee on the performance of the Islamic banking system, the influence of the effectiveness of the risk supervision committee on the performance of the Islamic banking system, and the influence of remuneration and committee appointments on the performance of the Islamic banking system. sharia banking operations, as well as the effectiveness of the sharia supervisory board on the operations of the sharia banking system in Indonesia during the 2022 period. The data used in this research is secondary data obtained by measuring the number of meetings held for each variable. The method used to select samples was purposive sampling. The sample size in this study was six banks taken from annual reports, with a sample size of 30 people. The hypothesis test used in this research is the t-statistical test. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear analysis using Statistical Products and Services Solutions (SPSS) version 26.0. The research results show that the effectiveness of the sharia supervisory board has a positive effect on sharia financial performance.

Abstract

This study's goal to examine the debt policy, dividend policy, and profitability of Indonesian Stock Exchange-listed manufacturing companies from 2018 to 2022. The type of research methodology used in this research is quantitative research. The data used in this research is secondary data, namely financial reports of manufacturing companies. The research sample consisted of 32 companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. Purposive sampling is the sampling method used in this research. Data analyzed from the idx.co.id page. The observation period for this research is from 2018-2022. The data that has been collected is analyzed using multiple regression analysis. Based on the data analysis carried out, it is concluded that debt management (DER) does not have a positive or significant influence on manufacturing company value (PBV). Then the dividend policy (DPR) and profitability (ROA) variables have a positive and significant influence on the company value (PBV) of manufacturers listed from 2018 to 2022 on the Indonesian Stock Exchange

Abstract

It is known that the preparation of subject scheduling at SMP Negeri 1 Deli Tua has gone through a process that is less efficient and effective due to several long procedures such as dividing study hours, adjusting teaching hours, and allowing for similarities in teaching hours or clashes between teaching hours. A genetic algorithm is an optimization technique whose working method imitates the process of evolution and changes in genetic structure in living things. The research aims to apply genetic algorithms to the subject scheduling system at SMP Negeri 1 Delitua. Research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Deli Tua. This research has used a genetic algorithm using the roulette wheel method and a GUI (Graphic User Interface) created with PHP and MySQL. The research results show that the application of genetic algorithms in scheduling systems can make scheduling more accurate and in a shorter time, with a mutation probability of 3.6 = 4 genes

Abstract

The position of Digital platforms in the economy occupies a comprehensive position because it plays a role in the production, distribution and consumption of a digital commodity. This nature makes a platform an infrastructure in itself through the structuralist concept of infrastructure-superstructure. Furthermore, this concept can reveal how the webtoon platform significantly shapes the webtoon itself as a commodity format as shown by its three main characteristics: color, scrolling, and weekly. These three characteristics make the webtoon platform require a lot of labor to run its production mode smoothly. This not only impacts the welfare of webtoon comic artists who are required to work hard, but also has its own imperialistic side when webtoon platforms actively employ Indonesian comic artists with lower salaries, an inevitable result of the webtoon platform's mode of production itself

Abstract

Pathfinding algorithms are crucial in the domain of autonomous navigation, impacting the efficiency and safety of robotic and AI systems. This paper presents a comparative analysis of three prominent pathfinding algorithms: the A* algorithm, Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), and the Fick’s Law Algorithm (FLA), within a grid-based simulation populated with static obstacles. We evaluate the performance of each algorithm based on path optimality, computational efficiency, and adaptability to a standardized environment. The A* algorithm, known for its heuristic-based search, demonstrates superior performance in finding the shortest path by utilizing a grid-specific heuristic. PSO, inspired by social behavior in nature, showcases flexibility in path trajectory, offering smoother navigation around obstacles. FLA, a newer approach, strikes a balance between the deterministic nature of A* and the stochastic behavior of PSO, showing potential in applications with limited computational resources. Our findings suggest that while A* remains the optimal choice for grid-constrained navigation requiring precise pathfinding, PSO and FLA may offer advantages in scenarios where flexibility and computational simplicity are prioritized. This study enhances the understanding of pathfinding methodologies, paving the way for future research to refine these algorithms for dynamic environments and integrate adaptive heuristic mechanisms for improved real-world applicability.

Abstract

This study investigates the determinants of Village Apparatus Performance through a multi-faceted analysis, incorporating measures of Leadership Style and Work Discipline. The examination begins with a rigorous assessment of the validity and reliability of the measurement instruments using the One-Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test and Multicollinearity Test. Subsequently, a linear regression analysis is conducted to elucidate the individual and combined impacts of Leadership Style and Work Discipline on Village Apparatus Performance. The results indicate that while Leadership Style does not exhibit a statistically significant impact, Work Discipline emerges as a crucial determinant, with a highly significant influence on performance outcomes. Moreover, the combined effect of Leadership Style and Work Discipline demonstrates a synergistic impact, highlighting the interplay of these variables in shaping Village Apparatus Performance. The hypothesis testing further corroborates these findings, providing nuanced insights into the intricate dynamics of organizational performance within the village apparatus. These results carry practical implications for organizational strategies, emphasizing the imperative of fostering a disciplined work culture to enhance overall performance.

Abstract

Productivity reflects the efficient way of using various resources to create products or services. Basically there are several factors that affect employee work productivity, one of which is communication skills, discipline, leadership patterns and work environment. The East Kalimantan Province Transportation Service really needs employees who have high productivity in improving services to the community in the transportation sector. The purpose of this research is to analyze the various variables that are used as factors that influence employee productivity at the East Kalimantan Provincial Transportation Service. The data analyzed came from questionnaires distributed to 80 employees. Data collection using saturated sample technique (population). Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis through the SPSS 22 program. The results showed that simultaneously all independent variables had a significant effect on employee productivity while partially only training and leadership pattern variables had a significant effect on employee productivity while communication skills, work discipline, level of education and work environment partially had no significant effect on employee productivity

Abstract

Significant changes triggered by globalization and the COVID-19 pandemic have required adaptation and creativity in the world of work, especially in the digital era. The millennial and Z generation, which dominate the workforce today, have an essential role in creating competitive advantages and maintaining the sustainability of organizations, especially startups. This research aims to measure and analyze the influence of Perceived Authentic Leadership and Organizational Identification on Employee Creativity mediated by Work Engagement in employees who work in Jabodetabek startups. This research uses a survey-based methodology using an online questionnaire with assessments using a Likert Scale. Data from 243 respondents was analyzed using the partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) technique. The research results show that perceived authentic leadership and organizational identification positively affect employee creativity, both directly and through the mediation of work engagement.

Abstract

An expert system is a system that tries to adopt human knowledge into washing machines, so that users can solve problems as experts usually do, and a good expert system is designed to be able to solve a particular problem by imitating the work of experts. Currently handling customer complaints to technicians about fault of washing machines takes quite a long time, and for each handling it takes quite a long time. This system aims to diagnose fault and provide information on repair solutions that can be carried out. This expert system uses the forward chaining method and literature study in Delphi. Based on testing this expert system, it shows that this expert system is able to help solve problems effectively
