Abstract

The background of this research is an effort to participate in education in eradicating corrupt behavior. In this effort, it is necessary to inculcate anti-corruption values that are integrated into existing subjects, so that they are not burdensome to emerge new subjects. Furthermore, to provide this education, an effective learning process is needed by using the right communication process so that the cultivation of anti-corruption values can be implemented optimally. This study aims to reveal the anti-corruption values contained in Islamic Education textbooks and then provide an overview of how to build effective communication to be used in learning. This research is a library research with student textbooks as the object of study. The results showed: the values of anti-corruption education contained in the textbook of Islamic Religious Education and Character are the values of honesty, caring, independence, discipline, responsibility, hard work, simplicity, courage, and justice. Effective communication occurs when paying attention to at least five things: clarity of material, accuracy of language use, material context, communication flow, and the environmental culture of students.

Abstract

Language is one of cultures that cannot be separated from human life. Indonesian language studied by expatriate students in the BIPA program becomes a bridge and a means of communication that can produce interaction between foreign students who have different cultures. However, as Indonesian Language learners, expatriate students from various countries certainly experience obstacles in communication. This study aims to find out more about intercultural communication practices among expatriate students in the Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) program at the International Language Institute, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, University of Indonesia. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, using a post-positivistic paradigm in which the data obtained in this study are through interviews and participant observation. Interviews were conducted with four informants from different countries representing the majority and minority countries. The results showed that in the practice of intercultural communication, students used a lot of primary communication patterns, where students used verbal and non-verbal symbols, and secondary communication patterns, where students used tools / media that helped the communication process such as the use of dictionaries and Google Translate. In this study also found that students experience various cultural phenomena including cultural adaptation, acculturation, assimilation, and culture shock.

Abstract

This research discusses the exposure of the information content of the Majlis Ta'lim Subulussalam communal recitation on Instagram and the effectiveness of promotion using the AISAS method. This research employed a survey method supported by the result of the quantitative data gathered from an online questionnaire. This study shows two important matters, such as the relationship resulted from the Spearman Rank test, and the effect resulted from the Simple Linear Regression Analysis.The first result entails a significant relationship between the exposure of the information on Instagram and the audiences Attention. There also is a noteworthy relationship between the exposure of the information on Instagram and the audiences Interest. Differently from the previous findings, it is shown that there is no significant relationship between the exposure of the information on Instagram and the behavior of Search for the communal recitation location. There is also not found any significant relationship between the behavior of audience to attend (Action). Additionally, there is no significant relationship on the behavior of Share because of the exposure of Instagram information. Secondly, there is no significant effect between the content information exposure on Instagrm (X) towards the promotion of the Majlis Ta'lim Subulussalam communal recitation (Y), it is proven by the finding of Sig. 0,110 0,05 and the positive effect gains only 4,9% which implies that the promotion effectiveness might be affected by other variables that were not studied in this research.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the 2017 UPDM FIKOM Student assessment (B), regarding 1) teaching methods carried out by the Lecturer; 2) Student motivation to learn; 3) the influence of the teaching method on student learning motivation The population of this study were UPDM FIKOM students (B) in 2017 numbering 188 students, the research paradigm using the positivism paradigm, the research approach using a quantitative approach and using survey methods data analysis techniques using linear regression analysis simple to know the magnitude of influence. Simple liner regression is based on functional and causal relationships of one independent variable with one dependent variable.The results showed that there were influences of Teaching Methods on Student Learning Motivation. The results of this study also assessed that the teaching method used by lecturers was good.

Abstract

E-commerce is a contact of trade transactions between the seller and the buyer by using internet media. The advantage gained by using transactions through E-commerce is to increase revenue by using online sales that are cheaper and also at the same time operational costs such as paper, catalog printing can be minimized. Big online business companies in Indonesia, such as bukalapak.com, olx.co.id, lazad.com, and the like have started to reap profits. Online business becomes an exciting business, not just for its founders, but for users, as well as buyers. To increase sales turnover E-commerce company utilize brand community in social media in face of increasingly competitive competition, main factor in brand community is formation of communication. The communication relationship does not need to be active, but at least its existence can be determined. This means that the communication that occurs can be through social media.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the government's digital public relations in conveying information on Covid-19 prevention education in Indonesia. The concept used is 7-Cs public relations communication, consisting of: credibilty, contex, content, clarity, continuity, and consistency, channels, capability of the audinence. Government public relations, digital public relations, roles and PR models. The paradigm in this study is Constructivist. This type of research is qualitatively descriptive. The method used is a case study. Research findings show the Ministry of Communication and Information, as well as the ministry of SOEs carry out the functions and roles of government public relations by providing messages or information to the Indonesian people related to Covid-19. The role of communicator facilitator runs in the case of Covid-19 where actively and synergistally between institutions convey information to the public, the message is not only conveyed but also adapted to the conditions of the community that will receive the message.

Abstract

The purpose this study is to explain the OneFourThree.Co Online Shop marketing communication strategy.The theory used by the author in conducting this research is the Marketing Mix 7P consisting of Product, Price, Place, Promotion, People, Process and Physical Eviden. As a support for this strategy, the author uses the AISAS model, namely Attention, Interest, Search, Action and Share. The paradigm that the author chooses is constructivis by using qualitative approach. This type of research is descriptive research with case study research methods. The results of this study indicate that the marketing communication strategy to increase Brand Awareness is carried out by Brand OneFourThree.Co on Instagram has mostly been done well. Marketing strategy to increase Brand Awareness in order to continue to exist, OneFourThree.Co still has to carry out promotions and improvements so remain in demand by consumers

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the interpersonal communication of teacher and school culture influence to student learning motivation of SMK Al Ikhwaniyah of South Tangerang. This research uses survey method with correlational approach. The variables studied using three variables consist of independent variables of teacher interpersonal communication and school culture, the next variable of student learning motivation. Population in this research is all student of class XI and XII SMK Al Ikhwaniyah Tangerang Selatan academic year 2016-2017 total population 136 student, sample counted 102 student with proportionate random sampling sampling technique. Interpersonal communication of teacher and school culture have positive and significant effect together to student learning motivation with high interpretation level that is 97,5%. This means that increased interpersonal communication of teachers followed by a good school culture will increase student learning motivation.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study communication strategy carried out by PT Pertamina Patra Niaga's HSSE (Health, Safety, Security and Environment) Function in overcoming all problems that might occur and affecting the corporate's image. In this study, the study used a qualitative exploratory case study method. This method was chosen because this research only focuses on the HSSE function at PT Pertamina Patra Niaga. The data used is a combination of documents, results of interviews, and observations made by researchers of the HSSE Function of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga. The results of this study discuss the HSSE function of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga is an important function in relation to the company's image. This function is structured based on the interests of companies that will be risky (high risk). In carrying out the main duties and functions of the HSSE, this function carries out various communication strategies in relation to the organization to civilize the safety aspects of all stakeholders in the corporate with objectives related to safety imaging.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the interpersonal communication interactions of PAI teachers and learning motivation towards the learning achievement of PAI students. Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Islam empties Boyolali in the academic year 2017/2018.The results of the analysis show that (1) There is a significant effect between PAI interpersonal communication and learning achievement. This can be seen from the results of t-count of -2.302 t-table -2,021. This is also corroborated by the significant value of Interpersonal Communication of 0.026. Because the significance value is 0.026 0.05, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the variables of Interpersonal Communication on Student Learning Achievement. (2) There is a significant influence between motivation and learning achievement. This can be seen t-count -2.111 t-table -2.021. Because the value of t-count t-table is -2.111 -2.201, then motivation has competence in PAI students' learning achievement. This is also corroborated by the significant motivation value of 0.026. Because the significance value is 0.040 0.05, it can be concluded that there is a variable influence on Student Learning Achievement. (3) There are interactions between interpersonal teachers of PAI communication and motivation together (simultaneous) with learning achievement. From the results of data processing can be obtained R value of 0.386 So Interpersonal Communication and Motivation Increases learning achievement by 38.6%, while the remaining 61.4% is needed by other variables outside of this study.
