Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman mengenai peran Profesi Akuntan Publik yang merupakan salah satu Profesi yang berasal dari Jurusan Akuntansi, kebanyakan siswa-siswa SMK Jurusan Akuntansi, kurang mendapatkan pemahaman mengenai profesi Akuntan Publik atau auditor dari sekolah-sekolah karena memang kurikulum yang dimiliki oleh SMK hanya sejauh untuk Menyusun dan menyajikan Laporan Keuangan, padahal sebenarnya siswa-siswa juga perlu mengenal dan memahami peran penting profesi Akuntan publik di tengah masyarakat saat ini. Metode ceramah digunakan untuk menyampaikan pengetahuan dan Pemahaman, juga tanya jawab digunakan untuk melengkapi hal-hal yang belum terakomodasi oleh metode di ceramah. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memotivasi dan meningkat minat siswa-siswa untuk mengambil Jurusan Akuntansi pada saat masuk jenjang Strata 1 atau sarjana, dan juga untuk meningkatkan Minat jumlah Mahasiswa Baru Prodi Akuntansi Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Lancang Kuning sebagai subyek sasaran. Hasil yang didapat, dapat berdampak terhadap memotivasi dan mendorong Siswa-siswa SMK Nurul Falah mengambil Jurusan Akuntansi di Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Lancang Kuning. Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance novice researchers’ understanding of theoretical contribution in the fields of management and business at Perguruan Tinggi ABC. The main problem faced by the participants is limited conceptual understanding of the meaning and forms of theoretical contribution in scientific research, which often results in weak articulation of theoretical contribution in academic articles. The activity was conducted through a face-to-face workshop designed to strengthen both conceptual and practical understanding of theoretical contribution in research. A total of ten early-career researchers from management and business disciplines participated in the program. The effectiveness of the activity was evaluated using a pretest–posttest approach to measure changes in participants’ understanding before and after the training. The pretest results indicated that most participants were unable to adequately explain theoretical contribution from a scientific perspective. However, the posttest results, based on case analysis, showed a clear improvement in participants’ ability to identify and formulate theoretical contributions in research. These findings suggest that the training activity was effective in improving novice researchers’ conceptual understanding of theoretical contribution and has the potential to support the improvement of research quality and academic publications within Perguruan Tinggi ABC. Abstract

This research focuses on the study of the principal's instructional leadership in shaping student character at the UPT SMA Negeri 2 Enrekang. The purpose of this study is to describe how the principal's instructional leadership plays a role in shaping student character, as well as to identify supporting and inhibiting factors in its development at the school. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was checked using triangulation techniques. The results of the study indicate that the principal's instructional leadership at the UPT SMA Negeri 2 Enrekang has been implemented well. The principal plays an effective role in managing the learning program to improve the quality of graduates, especially in the formation of student character. This is reflected in student behavior that demonstrates discipline in various situations, religiosity in school activities, resilience and responsibility in learning activities, and a school environment free from bullying. All of this is realized through collaboration between the principal and teachers in providing role models and direct practices that can be emulated by students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the simultaneous influence of training and organizational environment on the performance of agricultural extension workers at the Food Crops and Horticulture Service of Rokan Hulu Regency. The population of this study was all employees of the Food Crops and Horticulture Service of Rokan Hulu Regency. The sampling technique used saturated sampling with 54 respondents. The independent variables in this study were training (X1), organizational environment (X2), and performance variables (Y). Data collection methods used questionnaires, documentation, and informal interviews. Instrument reliability tests included validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests included normality tests, multicollinearity tests, and heteroscedasticity tests. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS program. The results showed that 97.1% of performance was influenced by training and organizational environment, while the remaining 2.9% was influenced by other variables not examined in this study. The conclusion of this study, based on the results of partial and simultaneous testing, is that training and organizational environment have a significant influence on the performance of agricultural extension workers.

Abstract

This community service program is motivated by the importance of sustaining community-based physical activity to improve public health, particularly after the mentoring phase ends. In the initial stage, a healthy exercise program conducted in Pagesangan Village, Surabaya, successfully increased community participation and awareness of the importance of physical fitness. However, the main challenge lies in the community’s ability to maintain the program independently. Therefore, this second-stage program aims to analyze and strengthen community independence through a community empowerment approach. The method used is a participatory approach involving post-assistance evaluation, strengthening local leadership, and facilitating independent program management. The results show that the community has successfully established a self-managed group called “Senam Sehat Bersama,” equipped with an organizational structure, local instructors, regular exercise schedules, and a self-sustaining funding system through member contributions. These findings indicate that continuous mentoring effectively fosters community independence. Thus, this program provides significant implications as a sustainable community-based health empowerment model that can be replicated in other regions.

Abstract

Schools, as formal learning venues, must be safe and comfortable spaces free from various human rights violations, including violence against women (female students). Setia Sharma High School, Pekanbaru City, is committed to protecting women. Communication with the school and input from the educational institution indicates that education and training on violence against women/female students is necessary, as it has been lacking. Setia Dharma High School requires collaboration with various parties to achieve the school's vision and mission. Setia Dharma High School, Pekanbaru City, needs partners to protect female students from violence. The school still needs to improve its understanding of knowledge, actions, and solutions related to violence against women. Therefore, it is necessary to provide information on the dynamics of violence against women. The community service program involves providing counseling to teachers, staff, and students. The school has responded positively to this service activity. Students are not only thinking about how to achieve their future by continuing their education or pursuing a career, but also about protecting themselves at all times, wherever and whenever. Abstract

Improving the quality of public services at the village level is a crucial prerequisite for realizing effective, accountable, and community-satisfaction-oriented governance. However, the human resource capacity of village officials, particularly in public service management and performance, remains a major obstacle. This issue was also identified in the Pauh area of ​​Padang City, where village officials face limited understanding of service standards, performance management, and a professional and responsive work culture. This community service program aims to strengthen the capacity of village officials through training and mentoring in public service management and performance. Activities are implemented using a participatory and needs-based approach, including problem identification, thematic training, case study discussions, service simulations, and mentoring in the implementation of service standards and performance evaluation. The materials covered the concept of public service, principles of good governance, performance management, the development of service standards, and indicator-based evaluation. Targeted outputs include improving the competency of village officials, the development of training modules, performance improvement models, scientific articles, and policy recommendations. In the long term, this program is expected to drive improvements in the quality of public services and strengthen professional and sustainable village governance in Pauh, Padang City

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve the competitiveness of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Pauh District, Padang City, through digital-based human resource management (HR) assistance. MSMEs play a strategic role in the local economy, but still face challenges in HR management, which is informal, undocumented, and limited use of technology. This situation results in low productivity, weak performance oversight, and limited adaptability to increasingly competitive business conditions. Based on a situational analysis, MSMEs in Pauh generally lack a structured system for recording attendance, assigning tasks, or evaluating performance. Furthermore, low digital literacy results in suboptimal use of technology in HR management. To address these challenges, this program is designed through a participatory approach, employing practice-based training and ongoing mentoring. Activities include mapping digital needs and readiness, training on the use of simple applications for recording and monitoring performance, and developing work standards and HR performance indicators. The mentoring is conducted in stages to enable MSMEs to implement the system independently. The program's outputs include improving the managerial capacity of MSMEs, implementing a digital-based HR system, developing modules, and developing scientific publications. This program is expected to sustainably drive productivity and digital transformation among MSMEs in Pauh

Abstract

Pauh District, Padang City, has a large local workforce potential, but its utilization by businesses and MSMEs is not yet optimal. The main problems include the low match between workforce competencies and business needs, the informal recruitment process, and a lack of understanding of sustainable human resource development. This condition has resulted in low local workforce absorption and less than optimal business productivity. This Community Service Program aims to optimize the potential of the local workforce through structured, applicable recruitment and human resource development training based on the real needs of the business world. The approach used is participatory and empowering, involving businesses and workers at every stage of the activity. Implementation methods include needs identification, practice-based training, case study discussions, and ongoing mentoring with materials tailored to the characteristics of local MSMEs. The program outputs include training models based on local potential, increased workforce competency, and strengthened managerial capacity of business actors. In the long term, this program is expected to increase business competitiveness and strengthen the local economy in a sustainable manner

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in driving the local economy in Pauh District, Padang City. However, their development still faces marketing challenges, primarily because most businesses rely on conventional methods and have not yet fully utilized social media. Limited digital marketing knowledge, skills, and strategies result in low competitiveness in an increasingly competitive market. This Community Service Program aims to improve the competitiveness of MSMEs through the implementation of social media-based digital marketing management. Activities are implemented using a participatory approach through training, hands-on practice, and ongoing mentoring. The materials cover basic digital marketing concepts, engaging content creation, promotional and consumer interaction strategies, and simple marketing performance evaluations. The expected outcome is increased competency among MSMEs in managing social media accounts in a structured manner, expanding market reach, and increasing sales. Program outputs include training modules, activity reports, more effective social media account management, and scientific publications. On an ongoing basis, this program is expected to drive the digital transformation of MSMEs and strengthen local economic growth
