Abstract

Currently, angklung music has become part of ensemble music that can be taught to students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels as a form of appreciation for traditional Indonesian music. Therefore, through this research, the technique of playing angklung will be developed with the Kodaly method with the concept of Berkawan and Kawan Berkawan so that later it can display a form of musical presentation packaged in the form of a similar music ensemble. This research is qualitative, using the Research and Development approach from Borg and Gall, by discussing matters related to melody science, the laws of harmony in songs applied in choirs, tone symbols (the use of fingers), the Kodaly method with the development of the concept of Berkawan and Kawan Berkawan, and song notation. The initial stage is the observation of the Kodaly Method, then analyzing the shape of the Kodaly Method symbol with the application of the concept of Berkawan and Kawan Berkawan, then trying to apply it to several grade VII students of SMP Negeri Belitang Jaya from these methods and concepts. In the end, it is hoped that the Kodaly Method with the concept of Berkawan and Kawan Berkawan can be applied and taught to students as the best solution for playing Angklung Music easily. Abstract

This research is motivated by the implementation of the Meaningful Reception Learning approach in motion and song learning, which is seen as the most appropriate approach for students at PAUD Jelita. This approach is generally understood as the correlation of children's cognitive schemes to the new material given, resulting in a meaningful learning activity. However, on a practical level how it is implemented, so far no research has studied it. Based on the problems studied, namely regarding the implementation of the Meaningful Reception Learning approach in motion and song learning at PAUD Jelita, Pringsurat Village, Temanggung Regency, this research will use qualitative methods.  The activities carried out include data collection, data verification, analysis, and synthesis. The Meaningful Reception Learning approach in PAUD Jelita Pringsurat, Temanggung, is implemented in large class students whose students are 6 years old. The approach is appropriate when applied in large classes because students are more easily conditioned. The stages of the Meaningful Reception Learning approach can be passed effectively in large-class students. The stages passed are the initial settings (Advance Organizer). The initial arrangement is a classroom conditioning activity carried out by the teacher. Then the second is progressive differentiation, that is, learning from the general thing to the particular. Next is superordinate learning which is concept learning by relating concepts that have been previously understood. In the last stage, it is an integrative adjustment. The stages are carried out in the form of compiling material consisting of various concepts, in which the concepts have a general to a special relationship.

Abstract

This article discusses the cultivation of self-management for Dance students as a filter to counteract outside lifestyle influences including the influence of Korean Wafe, with an innovative concept of self-awareness (mindfulness), while still having full awareness of thoughts, feelings, and focusing on goals. The research method used in this article is a theoretical study. Self-awareness is needed in carrying out social interactions, especially for students because this also affects the learning process which can fail if you are not able to manage or control yourself properly, especially from the influence of the social environment. Mindfulness as a form of inculcating self-management in students is a theory that can be instilled because it can help students change their perspective on something so that they can filter out the influences that can arise from the surrounding environment. Something that becomes a trend in society doesn't need to be avoided but it should be used to enrich our insights, especially for dance students, they should be able to take advantage of the good things caused by the boom in the Korean style, especially in dance creation.
