Abstract

This study aims to produce interactive physics learning media based on macromedia flash 8 straight motion material for Class VII students of SMP/MTs. This type of research uses the Research and Development (R&D) approach by adopting the ADDIE development model (Analyse, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The design of learning media trials uses the Post-Test Only Control Group Design. The data collection instruments were material expert evaluation questionnaires, media expert evaluation questionnaires, science subject teacher evaluation questionnaires, student response questionnaires, multiple choice tests and student learning activity questionnaires. Data collection techniques were test techniques and observation techniques. Data analysis techniques are media feasibility test, normality test, variance homogeneity test and hypothesis testing. The results of the study from the aspect of the feasibility of learning media, media experts stated that it was feasible with an actual score of 75, material experts stated that it was feasible with an actual score of 73, teachers of science subjects stated that it was feasible with an actual score of 66, and the average response score of 4 students was 58.25 . While the research results from the aspect of learning media trials show that interactive physics learning media based on Macromedia Flash 8 is effective on student learning outcomes with an average experimental class score of 70.38 and classical learning mastery of 71.42%. The percentage of active students is in the good category with a percentage of 69.09%. When compared with the control class with an average value of 50.37 and 22.22% classical learning completeness. The percentage of active students falls into the moderate category with a percentage of 41.82%.

Abstract

Telah dirancang generator ultrasonik sebagai pembunuh bakteri Escherichia coli (E. coli). Range frekuensi yang dihasilkan oleh generator ultrasonik ini berkisar antara 50 kHz - 65 kHz. Dari hasil pengamatan kematian bakteri E. coli yang ditimbulkan akibat radiasi gelombang ultrasonik terhadap variasi jarak dan frekuensi yang digunakan pada kerapatan 10-8 cfu/ml (coloni forming unit/ml) diperoleh persentase rata-rata kematian bakteri E. coli yang ditimbulkan meningkat apabila jarak radiasi semakin dekat dan frekuensi yang digunakan tinggi.  Bakteri E. coli setelah diradiasi dengan gelombang ultrasonik mengalami kelainan sel yaitu terjadi pengecilan bentuk sel, dinding selnya pecah dan mengalami lysis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Auditory Intellectualy Repetition (AIR) berbantuan media konkret terhadap aktivitas dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Kelayu Kecamatan Selong tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Populasi dan sampel penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa keas V di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Kelayu Kecamatan Selong tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest posttest design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan angket. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan one sample t-test. Hasil hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas belajar siswa 63,95 dan menunjukkan kategori tinggi. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model Auditory Intelletualy Repetition berantuan media konkret terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa kelas V di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Kelayu Kecamatan Selong Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022.  Kemudian hasil hipotesis kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa menunjukkan bahwa t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel yaitu 2,396 (thitung) ≥ 2,101 (t tabel) yang berarti Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model Auditory Intelletualy Repetition berbantuan media konkret terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Kelayu Kecamatan Selong Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022.

Abstract

The use of learning models that are not appropriate can cause students difficulties in stating a scientific reason. Students need to practice scientific reasoning skills such as thought processes to examine, understand, and criticize objects or phenomena. Scientific reasoning is one of the learning outcomes that should be trained on students because high scientific reasoning will affect students in making decisions and solving problems. It takes seriousness in practicing scientific reasoning skills. So the teacher must choose the appropriate learning approach. Scientific reasoning skills can be trained by teachers by applying inquiry-based learning, one of which is Problem Based Learning (PBL). PBL has five steps, namely: (1) orienting students to problems, (2) organizing students to learn, (3) guiding group investigations, (4) developing and presenting work, and (5) analyzing and evaluating the solution process. problem. Abstract

The education field is severely afflicted by the tense atmosphere caused by the Covid-19 outbreak. Numerous schools are closed and scarcely open to conduct short face-to-face (FTF) meetings. This results in a less effective learning process that impacts the education quality. For this reason, several schools are completely closed during the pandemic. Meanwhile, some schools reduce the provisions of FTF classes and implement health protocols by carrying out the instruction virtually. State Islamic Junior High School (MTsN) 5 Central Lombok is one of the Islamic schools that runs offline and online learning processes. Thus, this qualitative research intends to interpret phenomena that occur in various ways involving abundant existing methods. Hence, the findings indicated that the implementation of learning at MTsN 5 Central Lombok employs the Blended learning system. The performance of offline and online learning is the principal's policy based on the meeting results between the school and the school committee—applying the learning process with shifts. The implementing technique of offline learning evaluation is left to each teacher to deliver materials virtually. In addition, the evaluation of e-learning via WhatsApp and Zoom platforms tightens health protocols during FTF learning. Synchronous and asynchronous online implementations require adequate planning. Principals continuously monitored e-learning performance. However, the learning process via Zoom meetings is hindered by several problems, including not all students having a Smartphone, a lack of signal, and the need for a lot of balance or internet quota.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menuntaskan hasil belajar mahasiswa calon guru fisika melalui penerapan metode resitasi dengan konteks kearifan lokal. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Subyek penelitian meliputi semua mahasiswa kelas 2B yang mengikuti perkuliahan Pengantar Pendidikan pada semester genap tahun 2023 di Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika, FKIP, Universitas Mataram sebanyak 26 orang. Penelitian dilakukan sebanyak 6 kali pertemuan, sejak 13 Februari sampai dengan 20 Maret 2023. Adapun pemberian tugas dengan konteks kearifan lokal dilakukan sebanyak 2 kali. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes essay sebanyak 5 soal yang diberikan pada pertemuan ke-7. Ketuntasan hasil belajar mahasiswa dinyatakan dalam bentuk persentase. Mahasiswa dikatakan tuntas belajar secara individual bila mahasiswa tersebut memperoleh nilai minimal 75 (nilai B). Ketuntasan klasikal diperoleh bila 80% mahasiswa tuntas belajar secara individual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketuntasan klasikal diperoleh sebesar 100% dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 82.69 (nilai B+). Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa semua mahasiswa kelas IIB telah tuntas belajar melalui penerapan metode resitasi dengan konteks kearifan lokal.

Abstract

Kain tenun dari desa Sade merupakan salah satu produk tenun yang masih memegang teguh warisan leluhur dalam proses pembuatannya. Mulai dari proses pemintalan benang, sizing benang, hingga proses pewarnaan benang masih memanfaatkan metode tradisional dan bahan alami. Penggunaan serbuk pewarna alami sebagai pewarna kain katun dapat meningkatkan kualitas benang. Salah satu caranya melalui modifikasi ukuran partikel serbuk pigmen warna. Sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh penambahan filler maltodiekstrin terhadap karakteristik serbuk senyawa antosianin. Adapun tujuan lain yaitu untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh penambahan filler maltodiekstrin terhadap karakteristik warna kain. Pembuatan senyawa antosianin menggunakan metode maserasi dan evaporasi. Dimana karakteristik serbuk yang diperoleh diukur kadar air nya dengan pengujian proximate. Sedangkan pengukuran indeks polidispersitas dan ukuran partikel menggunakan particle size analizer  (PSA). Untuk karakteristik warna menggunakan software berbasis android  yaitu analisis nama warna dengan colorpedia, nilai ∆E dan RGB dengan color tool dan  color grab. Hasil identifikasi karakteristik serbuk menunjukkan bahwa penambahan filler mempengaruhi kadar air, ukuran, dan indeks polidispersitas serbuk senyawa antosianin. Serbuk dengan penambahan filler 15% menghasilkan kadar air terendah 10,39 %, ukuran terkecil 521,9 nm, dan indeks polidispersi terkecil 0,429. Selain itu, karakteristik warna yang dihasilkan dari penambahan filler memiliki warna dasar yang tidak jauh berbeda yaitu merah kecokelatan. Namun, hal yang berbeda adalah tingkat kelunturannya. Dari nilai ∆E, penambahan filler 15% menghasilkan kelunturan yang paling rendah. Sehingga, serbuk senyawa antosianin hasil ekstraksi dapat diaplikasikan sebagai pewarna pada kain katun. penambahan filler maltodiekstrin 15% direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif pembuatan serbuk pewarna yang diaplikasin pada kain katun.

Abstract

Learning media is a container for messages that educators want to convey to students, which aims to achieve an effective and efficient learning process. Along with the development of learning media technology, it is necessary to continue to develop so that the quality of education can get better. One of the media that can be used in learning is videoscribe. This study aims to determine the feasibility, practicality and effectiveness of videoscribe-based physics learning media that have been developed to improve students' critical thinking. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) research method with a development model consisting of define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. Feasibility was reviewed by 6 validators consisting of 3 expert validators and 3 practitioner validators. Practicality is seen from the results of student responses and the implementation of learning. Effectiveness is seen from the results of the trial limited to 1 class at SMAN 1 Alas Barat. The research instruments consisted of videographs, validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and observation sheets of learning implementation and concept understanding tests. Data analysis techniques consist of quantitative descriptive and N-gain test. The results of the study show that learning media is feasible to use with an average of 3.4 with very good categories and research reliability reaches > 75% with reliable criteria. This research is also effective because there is an increase in students' critical thinking with an average N-gain score of 60.24 with moderate criteria. The conclusion is that videoscribe-based physics learning media is feasible, practical, and effective for increasing students' critical thinking theory of momentum and impulse

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is an influence of the guided inquiry learning model using laboratory tools on student learning outcomes.  This type of research uses an experimental type with a pretest-posttest control group design.  The sampling technique used the Cluster Random Sampling method and obtained class XI MIPA 2 with 29 students as the experimental class, and class XI MIPA 3 with 27 students as the control class.  The experimental class was given a learning treatment using a guided inquiry model using laboratory equipment, while the control class used conventional learning.  The instrument used to measure student learning outcomes is an objective test in the form of multiple choice of 25 questions.  The learning outcomes test instrument used has been tested for validity, reliability test, level of difficulty test, and differential power test.  The data analysis technique was carried out by polled variance t-test.  The results of the t-test pre-test and post-test values are (t-count) greater than (t-tables) at a significant level of 5% categorized ( ) rejected and ( ) accepted.  So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the guided inquiry learning model using laboratory tools on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Exposure to electromagnetic radiation to humans is unavoidable due to advances in technology. Electromagnetic radiation from cell phones has many side effects that can interfere with human health. The purpose of this study is to ascertain the detrimental effects of electromagnetic radiation from cell phones on human health, which are considered in daily life. A narrative-style evaluation of the literature from several national and international periodicals. This writing is based on search results conducted online with a search engine in the form of Google Scholar literature sources with inclusion criteria of research conducted with a time limit of 10 years back with a time span of 2012-2022. This type of research is library research. The data collection technique of this research used secondary data. Cell phone use for 10 years or more significantly increases the risk of developing an acoustic neuroma. Cell phone use for one hour per day increases the risk of developing a brain tumor after 10 years or more. The effects caused by electromagnetic wave radiation from cell phones are Physiological Effects and Psychological Effects. There are efforts to minimize the effect of cell phone radiation on health.
