Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan peta konsep terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas XI. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperimendengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasinya adalah semua peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMAN 1 Praya Barat Daya. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik samplingjenuhyang terdiri dari peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan berupa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan peta konsep.  Peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 1 sebagai kelas kontrol menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Data kemampuan berpikir kritis diukur dalam tes akhir berupa soal dalam bentuk uraian, dengan perolehan nilai 55,81 untuk kelas kontrol dan  nilai 62,12 untuk kelas eksperimen. Hipotesis penelitian diuji dengan uji-t sampel berpasangan dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut diperoleh nilai  lebih besar daripada    yaitu 9,45 untuk nilai    dan  2,12 untuk nilai  yang bearti Ho ditolak, sehingga disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan peta konsep terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Praya Barat Daya.DOI : 10.29408/kpj.v4i1.1990

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan aktivitas belajar mahasiswa program studi pendidikan biologi pada mata kuliah Fisika Dasar.  Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah pnelitian kualitatif berupa penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk melakukan perbaikan kualitas pembelajaran. Desain penelitian diadopsi dari Hopkins dengan langkah identifikasi masalah, perencanaan, aksi, observasi dan refleksi. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan metode tes berupa soal uraian sementara nilai ativitas belajar mahasiswa dioeroleh melalui lembar observasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa, nilai mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan dari rata-rata 69 meningkat menjadi 80 pada siklus 2. Nilai mahasiswa yang berada pada katergori baik yaitu mahasiswa yang memperoleh nilai ≤ 65 meningkat dari 59% pada siklus I menjadi 81% pada siklus 2. Aktivitas belajar mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan dari kategori sedang pada siklus I, meningkat  ke kategori tinggi pada siklus 2. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan penerapan model Hands On Activity dapat meningkatkan hasilbelajar dan aktivitas belajar mahasiswa

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in student achievement who are taught using interactive multimedia drills model with students who are taught using science comic media. This type of research is experimental research. The population in this study is all students of class VII MTs. The State of Selong Model and the sampling was determined by using cluster random sampling technique to select the class and simple random sampling to select the students in that class. The second sampling technique is random sampling by drawing lots, cluster random sampling, namely the class is divided into experimental class I, namely the class that is taught using interactive multimedia drills model (class VII-E) and the experimental class II, namely the class that is taught using comic media. science (class VII-F), each of which consists of 36 students. And simple random sampling, where students are drawn after data collection to reduce the sample to 30 students to facilitate hypothesis testing. The data collection technique used post-test while the data analysis technique to test the hypothesis was the t-test. The results of data analysis using t-test showed that there were differences in student achievement who were taught using interactive multimedia drills model with students who were taught using science comic media. This can be seen in the post-test results where t-count > t-table is 2.206 > 2.002. Thus H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that there are differences in student achievement who are taught using interactive multimedia drills model with students who are taught using science comics

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menganalisis kebutuhan media animasi menggunakan Adobe Flash CS6 materi termodinamika di SMK Karsa Mulya Palangka Raya Kelas XI Teknik Otomotif , (2) Mengambarkan spesifikasi media animasi menggunakan Adobe Flash CS6 materi termodinamika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan Research and Development (R & D) tipe ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation,dan Evaluation). Media animasi divalidasi oleh ahli materi, ahli media dan guru Fisika SMK Karsa Mulya Palangka Raya.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1). Penggunaan TIK (Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi) dalam media animasi menggunakan Adobe Flash CS6 pada kurikulum 2013 sebagai media semua mata pelajaran,  diperlukan dalam mengajarkan materi  termodinamika, (2). Spesifikasi produk media animasi menggunakan Adobe Flash CS6yang memiliki tool yang mudah dipahami oleh setiap penggunanya dan menghasilkan file berekstensi “swf” yang dapat dijalankan pada perangkat komputer yang telah terinstal software videoplayer ataupun flashplayer.

Abstract

This research was conducted to complete the teaching materials, namely the worksheets used by teachers. This research is also based on the lack of use of student worksheets in SMA Negeri 5 Palangka Raya. Teachers often use textbooks and modules in the learning process rather than using student worksheets. The purpose of this study was to determine the needs of students for the use of STEM-based student worksheets in class XI on dynamic fluid material. The research instrument used was a questionnaire distributed to students via google form. Based on the results of the needs analysis, 74.1% of students stated that physics is difficult to learn and understand, because it uses a lot of formulas. The online system is the main reason students have difficulty understanding physics material. Teaching materials that are often used by teachers in learning physics are textbooks. Student modules and worksheets are used very rarely and have a fairly low percentage of 33.3% and 25.9%, respectively. Therefore, it is necessary to develop STEM-based worksheets on dynamic fluid materials.

Abstract

Method has been carried out. Research is done on mild steel zincalume type with immersion treatment (NaCl 3.5%) for 10 days, and 30 days and without immersion. Mild steel is laser irradiated (Nd-YAG 1064 nm, 7 ns) with energy of 120 mJ, and the data is taken with an accumulation of 3, delay time of 0.5 µs. Elements identification is done by taking data from up to 75 μm from the surface. The results of the analysis with LIBS showed immersion for 10 days, the corrosion rate and hardness of mild steel increased with 30 days immersion. The increase in the corrosion rate of mild steel is indicated by decreasing the value of dissolved oxygen intensity, the electrochemical reaction is fast. The decrease in the corrosion rate is indicated by the increase in the intensity value of Zn and Al elements associated with the formation of a passive film on the metal surface as a protective layer to protect further corrosion attacks.DOI : 10.29408/kpj.v5i1.3446

Abstract

 This study aims to determine: (1) Is there a difference in influence between the Problem based learning  and Discovery learning models on student learning outcomes (2) Are there differences in influence between students with high initial ability and low initial ability towards learning outcomes (3) Are there interactions between the Problem based learning  and Discovery learning learning models with initial abilities towards learning outcomes? This study aims to examine the comparative learning model of problem based learning and discovery learning towards learning outcomes in terms of ability early.This study used an experimental method with the only group posttest design and factorial design with population of the whole MIPA class XI and  sampling using purposive sampling, the selected sample was XI-MIPA 1 and XI MIPA 4. The instrument used was an initial ability test and a learning achievement test. The results of this study indicate that: (1) There is a significant difference in influence between problem based learning and discovery learning models on learning outcomes with a value of sig * 0,000 which means <α where α = 0.05 (2) There is a significant difference in influence between high initial ability and low initial ability of learning outcomes with a value of sig * 0.023 which means <α where α = 0.05 (3) There is no interaction between the learning model of problem based learning and discovery learning with the initial ability to student learning outcomes with a value of sig * 0.368 which means> α where α = 0.05.  DOI: 10.29408/kpj.v4i1.1718

Abstract

This study aims to see the effectiveness of COVID-19 disaster mitigation literacy education on students' knowledge about the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the use of masks, washing hands and maintaining a distance known as health protocols. This study also revealed the response of students to literacy education for the COVID-19 disaster in schools. The research was carried out in class X MIPA 1 SMAN 2 Mataram with Define, Design, Develop, and Desseminate (4D) designs. The results of the study found that literacy education for COVID-19 disaster mitigation was effective in increasing students' knowledge about the spread of the COVID-19 virus and the application of health protocols in schools in the normal era of life. Students also gave a positive response to the COVID-19 disaster mitigation literacy education in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the concept of the nature of science (NOS) and attitudes towards teaching the NOS. The research used the View on Science Education (VOSE) instrument that was  developed by Chen (valid and reliable) which online distributed to students of Physics Education Program from Surabaya State University and IKIP PGRI Pontianak, as well as students of Science Program from IAIN Ponorogo. The survey research method was conducted to determine the profile of students’ views on the NOS and science education. Respondents who filled out the research questionnaire were 102 students. Based on the survey results, the VOSE profile was obtained that the Science-Physics students had difficulty conceptualizing the general picture of VOSE because in some aspects of NOS it appeared that students experienced confusion.Science-Physics students have a positive attitude towards teaching NOS in terms of tentativeness, aspect of the nature of observation, as well as aspect of theory and law.However, Science-Physics students have negative attitudes towards teaching NOS in the aspect of the scientific method. Thus, the implication of this research requires that Science-Physics students learn and further research about the concept of NOS in order to have a correct understanding.  DOI: 10.29408/kpj.v4i2.2873

Abstract

The research title "The Implementation of Buzz Group Discussion learning method to improve student physics learning outcomes" aims to improve physics learning outcomes in second semester of  Informatics Education students on material quantities and measurements. This type of research is a quantitative type of experiment, with a population of Informatics Education students, the research subject are semester 2 of Informatics Education taking 46 students consisting of 2 classes there are 2A and 2B. The results of the study experienced an increase in student physics learning outcomes with class averages of 76.25 and 75.65, previously at 72.45 and 70.35 of the average value had increased by 20%. The application of the discussion method of group buzz learning not only affects student learning outcomes but also motivation and interest in learning increases because in this method teamwork is highly prioritized, causing other group members to be active and courageous in expressing opinions when taking responsibility for answers in front of the class . The use of this method can reduce the problems that exist especially in learning physics on material quantities and measurements.
