Abstract

Method has been carried out. Research is done on mild steel zincalume type with immersion treatment (NaCl 3.5%) for 10 days, and 30 days and without immersion. Mild steel is laser irradiated (Nd-YAG 1064 nm, 7 ns) with energy of 120 mJ, and the data is taken with an accumulation of 3, delay time of 0.5 µs. Elements identification is done by taking data from up to 75 μm from the surface. The results of the analysis with LIBS showed immersion for 10 days, the corrosion rate and hardness of mild steel increased with 30 days immersion. The increase in the corrosion rate of mild steel is indicated by decreasing the value of dissolved oxygen intensity, the electrochemical reaction is fast. The decrease in the corrosion rate is indicated by the increase in the intensity value of Zn and Al elements associated with the formation of a passive film on the metal surface as a protective layer to protect further corrosion attacks.DOI : 10.29408/kpj.v5i1.3446

Abstract

Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan dalam usaha intensifikasi lahan pertanian adalah mengairi sawah dengan air bawah tanah pada musim kemarau atau pada saat air sungai sudah tidak ada. Di Subak Sayehan Jasri Karangasem hendak melakukan proyek percontohan intensifikasi lahan pertanian menggunakan air bawah tanah. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah menentukan titik pengeboran untuk mendapatkan air bawah tanah yang paling efektif. Titik pengeboran dicari dengan metode geolistrik. Hasilnya telah didapatkan titik pengeboran, pada jarak 115-126 m dari pinggir jalan, diperkirakan kedalaman 13 m sudah ditemukan air, pengeboran direkomendasikan sampai kedalaman 25 m.

Abstract

Hasil identifikasi keberadaan tenaga laboratorium IPA di SMP Taman Sastra Jimbaran Kuta Selatan, Badung adalah sekolah swasta yang menunjukkan bahwa umumnya kualifikasi pendidikan tenaga yang ditugaskan di laboratorium IPA belum memenuhi persyaratan standar tenaga laboratorium sekolah. Data yang diperoleh dari interview dengan guru IPA di SMP Taman Sastra Jimbaran, menyatakan bahwa sebagian besar guru IPA masih mengalami masalah untuk melakukan praktikum tentang topik-topik tertentu, tidak semua konsep-konsep IPA eksperimental dapat diajarkan dengan praktikum karena keterbatasan alat-alat dan bahan yang tersedia. Salah satu kendala yang menghambat kelancaran pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPA di laboratorium adalah terbatasnya jumlah dan/atau jenis alat yang tersedia dan belum memiliki petunjuk praktikum yang tersusun secara permanen (dalam bentuk Modul). Hasil pengabdian ini telah mengasilkan beberapa alat praktikum sederhana dan dilengkapi dengan modul praktikum yang telah tersusun dengan baik. Diakhir kegiatan alat praktikum dan modul prkatikum diserahkan kepada SMP Taman Sastra Jimbaran. . Kata kunci : Laboratorium, alat praktikum, modul praktikum

Abstract

Sistem informasi komputer visual   untuk menghitung waktu penyinaran harian kanker dengan teknik source to axis distance telah diciptakan.   Data pasien dapat disimpan dalam sistem ini sehingga proses perhitungan dapat dipermudah dan dipercepat.   Hasil perhitungan yang didapat juga mendekati darihasil manual yang dilakukan di Rumah Sakit Sanglah Sub Divisi Radioterapi dengan selisih 0,033 hingga 0,334 detik untuk teknik S.A.D., dan 0,01 hingga 0,61 detik untuk teknik S.S.D.Kata kunci : Waktu penyinaran harian kanker, S.A.D., S.S.D.

Abstract

Harga cabai yang turun saat panen melimpah tentu sangat merugikan petani. Hal tersebut perlu segera ditangani dengan cara memperlama masa simpan cabai menggunakan tekonologi tepat guna melalui program pengabdian kepada mayarakat. Tujuan program tersebut adalah memperkenalkan teknik pengeringan cabai menggunakan alat pengering cabai. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian menggunakan metode ceramah interaksif dan praktek tentang teknologi pengolahan produk cabai mentah hingga menjadi cabai kering menggunakan alat pengering cabai. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah terciptanya alat pengering cabai sederhana berbahan bakar gas. Alat tersebut dibangun menggunakan kombinasi bahan logam (90%) dan kayu (10%) berukuran 80 x 50 x 120 cm3, dengan daya tampung hingga ± 7 kg cabai rawit mentah. Cabai rawit merah dan cabai rawit hijau mengalami penyusutan berat masing-masing sekitar 80% dan 90% dengan warna produk sangat kontas. Proses pengeringan dengan alat pengering lebih cepat (6 jam) dibandingkan dengan cara konvensional (7-10 hari). Berdasarkan hasil kuisioner, tingkat keberhasilan pelaksanaan program pengabdian tersebut di atas 90%.

Abstract

An analysis of the electron beam output constancy has been conducted on the Elekta Precise Linear Accelerator (LINAC) aircraft at the Radiotherapy Installation at Sanglah Hospital, Denpasar. The energy variations used are 8 MeV and 10 MeV. The analysis of the electron beam output constancy is determined by the standard deviation value obtained. The results of this study were obtained at an energy of 8 MeV with a large deviation value of 0.083% - 1.041%, and an energy of 10 MeV with a large deviation value of 0.022% - 0.695%. Based on the calculation results that the deviation value is still below the tolerance limit set by the AAPM. So that the LINAC Elekta Precise aircraft at the Radiotherapy Installation at Sanglah Hospital Denpasar is suitable to operate to receive patients.

Abstract

Research has been conducted on the Analysis of the X-ray beam output of the Linac varian Clinac CX based on the TRS 398 IAEA. This analysis aims to determine the condition of Linac in Bali Mandara Hospital with reference to the value of 1 cGy equal to 1 MU obtained from the analysis of the ionization chamber, temperature, pressure, polarity effect and ion recombination. The research was conducted with variations of X-ray energy 6 MV and 10 MV. The size of the irradiation field used is (10 x 10) cm with a Source to Surface Distance (SSD) of 100 cm. Based on the results of absolute measurements of the output dose of the Linac Varian Clinac CX X-ray beam at the Radiation Oncology Sub-Installation of the Bali Mandara Hospital with two variations of energy used, the output dose value at 6 MV energy is 1,00138 ???/?? and at 10 MV energy 0,99456 ???/?? with a large deviation of 0,138 % and 0,544 %, respectively, with the obtained deviation meeting the TRS 398 IAEA tolerance limit of ± 3%.

Abstract

Research has been carried out on the comparison of the concentration of Pb and Total Suspended Solid (TSS) of laboratory test results with Sentinel-2A satellite image data recorded on August 25, 2021 at the Suwung estuary dam, Denpasar city. The method used to compare the 2 measurement results is through testing by paired sample correlation and the graph. The result from the measurement show that the TSS value between Sentine-2A and laboratory has a fairly close value but  the Pb value  between Sentinel-2A and the laboratory have a much differences. The differences of the value between Sentinel-2A images and laboratory data can be caused by differences in the image recording time and field data collection time. This can result in changes or dynamics of water conditions that result in changes in the value and distribution Pb and then the radiometric influence of differences in Pb values ​​on images and laboratory data can be caused by radiometric influences or interference with wave propagation in the air.

Abstract

This research aimed to evaluate the effects of the X-ray current tube on the uniformity value of CT image noise. This research used the CT images of Siemens head water phantom. The phantom was scanned with a Siemens Somatom Scope CT scanner for various current tubes (i.e., 180 mAs, 200 mAs, 220 mAs, 240 mAs, and 260 mAs) on tube voltage 110 kV, slice thickness 3 mm, and FOV 240 mm. The uniformity values in CT image noise were analyzed using the standard deviation value (SD). The SD was measured by the ROI process in 5 different locations, in the center and at 3 o'clock, 6 o'clock, 9 o'clock, and 12 o'clock on the images CT. Based on the result of a simple linear regression test using IBM SPSS ver 25, it was found that the current tube significantly affected the uniformity value of image noise (r2=0,9768, p<0,05). This result showed that increasing the current tube can reduce image noise uniformity. The highest image noise uniformity value was at a current at 180 mAs with 0,217 HU, and the lowest was at 260 mAs with 0,031 HU. This result also shows that all the values are less than 2 HU and still within the acceptable limit by the BAPETEN standard regulation.

Abstract

Weather and climate deviations have resulted in extreme weather in most parts of Indonesia which has triggered a number of natural disasters, such as tornadoes and floods that have occurred in various areas. It is necessary to know this in order to prevent something undesirable from happening. This writing aims to understand wind direction and speed and determine the percent of wind phases using WRPLOT V7.0 from 2015 to 2020. WRPLOT (Wind Rose Plots for Meteorological Data) is a windrose program for meteorological data. This software provides windrose diagram displays, frequency analysis and diagrams for several meteorological data formats. The data taken is wind data with the highest direction and highest speed recorded by the Class II Paniki Atas North Minahasa Climatology Station. Wind direction and speed data from 2015 to 2020 using WRPLOT obtained wind rose and wind speed graphs, namely 7 (from the dominant direction West), 2 (from the dominant direction Southeast), 2 (from the dominant direction South), and 1 (from the dominant direction Northeast), and the percentage of winds blowing from 2015 to 2020 at speeds ≥22 knots, namely more than 60%. Where the percentage of speeds ≥22 knots is highest in September and October with a percentage of 86%, while the percentage of speeds ≥22 knots is lowest in June with a presentation of 68.3%.
