Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri berbasis kearifan lokal terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi kalor kelas XI MA Sab’ul Hayat Tahun Pembelajaran 2017/2018”. Quasi Eksperimental Design bentuk Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Desain ini hanya memberikan post-test. Populasi dalam penelitian ini  adalah semua kelas XI IPA Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel jenuh. Sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPA1 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA2 sebagai kelompok kontrol.Kelompok eksperimen belajar dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri berbasis kearifan lokal dan kelompok kontrol belajar dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes. Data hasil penelitian yang telah dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji t satu pihak pada taraf signifikan 0,05 memperoleh  nilai thitung(3,56) > ttabel(2,04). Karena thitung> ttabel, maka Ho ditolak sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri berbasis kearifan lokal terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi kalor.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dengan praktikum konversi energi panas ke listrik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Populasi dari penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas XII IPA SMA Negeri 1 Way Jepara. Pemilihan sample penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan sampel kelas XII IPA 5 berjumlah 33 siswa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah One Group Pretest-Posttest. Pembelajaran dilakukan dengan melakukan kegiatan praktikum menggunakan seperangkat alat konversi energi panas berbasis inkuiri terbimbing. Alat yang digunakan pada kegiatan praktikum menjadi keunggulan dalam penelitian ini karena belum ada penelitian sebelumnya yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran praktikum dengan alat konversi energi panas ke listrik.  Kegiatan praktikum dilakukan pada dua topik pembelajaran atau sebanyak dua kali praktikum.  Pada kegiatan praktikum topik satu mengenai spesifikasi satuan modul thermoelectric generator dan pada kegiatan praktikum topik dua mengenai rangkaian thermoelectric generator untuk menyalakan lampu LED. Data diuji dengan analisis N-gain, uji normalitas, uji Paired Sample T-Test. Berdasarkan hasil uji Paired Sample T-test dapat diketahui bahwa nilai signifikasi sebesar 0,00 yaitu kurang dari 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dengan praktikum konversi energi panas.

Abstract

This research aims at; (1) describe the characteristics of the Physics module in material with ESQ for grade X SMA / MA. (2) get Physics module with ESQ for grade X SMA / MA who are eligible based on criteria. The method of this research using R & D with the reference of model 4-D (four D model) proposed by Thiagarajan, Semmel (1974). Model 4-D consists of definition, design, development and dissemination. The module is arranged with a load of emotional spiritual quotient (ESQ) which consists of developing knowledge, students can find a solution to their problems, provide a productive learning environment, creating a learning climate of physical and social for students, and engage students optimally in learning good emotional and spiritual. In addition, the module is also equipped with guided-inquiry stage as pillars in the module because it is a part of scientific approach that needs to be developed in 2013 curriculum. The module is assessed based on the feasibility of materials, media, and languages, as well as trials (limited and extensive) to students, and the deployment phase in MGMP. Data collection of the research used questionnaires and guidelines of analysis interview, validation sheet, questionnaire responses, the character values questionnaire, observation of character value, and disseminate questionnaire. The results of the study as follows: (1) physics module which contains six components of esq were well presented, expressed or implied, with guided-inquiry basis in it. (2) modules which are categorized as an adequateone with the calculation results (matter experts, media specialists, linguists, teachers, peers) that shows the average score of 86.0> cut-off 84.3. And supported by the positive response from students and disseminate results conducted on the MGMP forum categorizing as a good module. (3) the use of the module can empower the character value and knowledge of the student because > 75% can reach more than minimum score (KKM).

Abstract

The study, entitled "Application of the Probing Prompting Learning Model in Science Lessons at SMPN 3 Selong" aims to determine the influence of students in understanding the concept of learning science in the classroom. The research subjects were students of class VIII at SMPN 3 Selong, namely class VIII D and class VIII E, with the data retrieval process using a written test of 6 items of description. The average value obtained in the control class is 63.48 while the experimental class is 80.48 with a difference of 17 points. For the hypothesis value thitung = 2.042 while ttabel = 1.079 from the results of the calculation of the hypothesis test results of learning science students obtained thitung> ttabel =, then the hypothesis alternative (Ha) is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an influence in the application of the probing prompting learning model in science learning at SMP 3 Selong

Abstract

Belimbing wuluh merupakan tumbuhan yang masih kurang pemanfaatannya terutama pada buah belimbing wuluh. Dilihat dari kandungannya, belimbing wuluh mengandung asam format sehingga berpotensi untuk menghasilkan tegangan listrik sebagai sumber energi alternatif. Elektroda merupakan konduktor yang digunakan untuk bersentuhan dengan bagian atau media non-logam dai sebuah sirkuit. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh luas penampang elektroda yang digunakan terhadap tegangan listrik yang dihasilkan dan menyusun sumber belajar dari hasil penelitian. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Pendidikan Fisika pada tanggal 3 april 2018. Metode pengambilan data menggunakan metode eksperimen dan metode pengolahan data menggunakan anava. Rancangan penelitian yang dilakukan adalah dengan membedakan luas penampang elektroda yang digunakan dengan masing-masing luasnya yaitu 4 cm², 10 cm², dan 16 cm². Menggunakan 900 ml bubur belimbing wuluh dengan melakukan 10 kali pengulangan pengambilan data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan hasil tegangan listrik masing-masing luas penampang sebesar 1.385 volt, 1.75 volt, dan 1.945 volt. Bagian penelitian yang dapat digunakan sebagai sumber belajar adalah pada proses perangkaian alat, pengukuran baik volume bubur belimbing wuluh dan tegangan listrik

Abstract

This research examines the physical and chemical properties of the potential contamination of condenser cooling water (heat water) at the 2x7 MW West Sumbawa Steam Power Plant. The results showed that the hot water had met the predetermined quality standards, namely a pH of 8.21, a temperature of 38.50C and a content of free chlorine (Cl2) of 0.03 mg / L. There was an increase in sea water temperature in a radius of 17 meters east and west by 80C from 280C to 360C. Direct discharge of hot water has the potential to pollute the marine prawn environment around the 2x7 MW West Sumbawa PLTU. From the results of the study, it was found that the temperature of the hot water had met the specified quality standard, which was 40oC, but direct disposal caused the sea water temperature to rise, exceeding the set sea water temperature quality standard of 320C and the temperature increase should not be more than 20C from the temperature. at first.The status of sea water quality due to the entry of hot water is determined using a pollution index. From the calculation results obtained PIj of 1.125 at the sample point Outfall 2, meaning that the sea water conditions at a radius of 17 meters are lightly polluted. As a form of control and prevention of pollution due to the entry of high temperature hot water, continuous monitoring is necessary and it is necessary to create a mixing pool between sea water and hot water before the heat is discharged into the sea.

Abstract

This research is a Pre-experimental research with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. This study aims to describe the students 'problem solving abilities during the learning process and determine the effect of CCM CCA learning models on problem solving skills and mastery of students' static fluid concepts. The study population was all students of class XI MIPA SMAN 4 Praya with a sampling technique using purposive sampling. The research sample was students in the three classes that were used as experimental classes that were given treatment in the form of learning using the CCM CCA learning model. Problem solving skills are obtained during the learning process by using LKPD which is equipped with problem solving ability instruments. The instrument used for problem-solving abilities uses test instruments in the form of test descriptions. Problem solving ability is measured by problem description. The conclusions obtained, namely 1) the level of problem-solving ability when the learning process is included in the medium category, 2) the CCM CCA learning model influences the ability of problem solving and mastery of students' static fluid concepts.DOI: 10.29408/kpj.v4i1.2089

Abstract

Excessive usage of plastic has threatened not only environment but also human health if it is managed poorly. One of the solutions to manage plastic waste is through process of pyrolysis. A processing of plastic waste through pyrolysis is suggested where such process transform plastic waste into usable output of liquid, gas, and solid. Additionally, such process sorts out the liquid output into a number of characteristics thorugh faucet 1, faucet 2, and faucet 3. In this experiment, low density polytethylene (LDPE) and polyethylene terephtalate (PETE) were used. Process of pyrolysis were carried out at temperatures of 100 and 140 °C and at processing time of 30, 60, and 90 minutes. It was found that for both plastics, the best condition to obtain maximum output of liquid through condensation of steam/gas were 140 °C for 90 minutes. Although the production of large liquid output was effectively done by using PETE (574 gram) than that of LDPE (197 gram). The output of LDPE may effectively result in liquid with clear appearance through faucet 1. Output of solid from LDPE was more tough than that of PETE. Output of gases from LDPE exhibited better combustion as compared to PETE.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Model Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Melalui Lesson pada pokok bahasan Usaha dan Energi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain Posttest-Only Control Group. Kelas eksperimen diberi perlakuan dengan Model pembelaran Problem Based Learing melalui Lesson Study. Sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional melalui Lesson Study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA Al-Hamzar Tembeng Putik kelas X yang terdiri atas 2 kelas yaitu kelas X MIPA 1 dan X MIPA 2 dengan jumlah siswa 58 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan teknik sampel jenuh. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes berupa essay yang berjumlah 6 butir soal. Penyusunan tes ini mengacu pada indikator berpikir kritis dengan berbagai macam kemungkinan jawaban. Berdasarkan pelaksanaan Lesson Study  pada kelas eksperimen dan kontrol diperoleh perbaikan pada proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dari segi pengorganisasian waktu dan siswa serta saat melakukan apersepsi. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan  uji-t didapatkan t-hitung = 1.25 dan t-tabel pada taraf signifikan 5% yaitu 0,07. dengan  demikian  t-hitung  >  t-tabel  yang  berarti  hipotesis  yang  diajukan diterima  atau Ha diterima dan Ho  ditolak,  artinya  bahwa “Ada pengaruh pembelajaran Problem Based Learning melalui Lesson Study terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi usaha dan energi kelas X SMA Al-Hamzar Tembeng Putik DOI: 10.29408/kpj.v4i2.2756

Abstract

There’s been research aimed at finding out the effects of age on the large absorbed dose of X-ray radiation received by the patient’s thorax examination. The observation data used to figure out the absorbed dose received by the patient is exposure factor consisting of tube voltage (kV), current (A), time (s), and distance (m) of patient from radiation source. The age range of patient obtained in this research is from 17 years until 48 years old, then it’s grouped by the age category set by Depkes. From the observation data of exposure factor and patients age, further do the test   using Oneway Anova statistical method test, by taking a significance level of a 0,05. The results from Oneway Anova statistic test is obtained FCalculate value is 1,532 amd sig is 0,211 with FTable value is 2,70 and sig is 0,05 therefore based on test criteria in statistic the early hypothesis (H0) is accepted. Presumably that the age is not affect on the large absorbed dose X-ray radiation received by the patient thorax eximination of range 17 years until 48 years old.
