Abstract

This paper aims to describe the personality  prominent of characteristics from Visnu Puraana of Dhruva story. the author describes many phenomena that indicate the decline of the morality of generations such as: elementary school children who have been smoking, teenagers who are exposed to free sex, lack of tolerance in social life, and there is a shift in values regarding norms of decency and ethics. Weak understanding of religious values can be regarded as an indicator of moral degradation. A civilization would want more improvement in regards to morality. In relation to the moral degradation of the nation's generation the government and society want children to have 18 national characteristics being; believe in religion, honesty, tolerance, fair for all, discipline, hardworking, creative, independent, democratic, curios to learn, national pride, communicative, peace-loving, avid readers, caring about the environment, social care, and responsibility. Building character using education for children is one way to make civilization better. The cultivation of character using education for children starts from an early age, ie through story or stories in Puraana that can be used as a medium of character building for children.

Abstract

Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 2 Peguyangan Kecamatan Denpasar Utara.  Penelitian ini dilaksanakan karena melihat prestasi siswa Kelas IV SD Negeri 2 Peguyangan dalam mata pelajaran IPA  sampai tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 masih belum baik walaupun ditetapkan standar kelulusan dengan nilai minimal 4,01, terbukti masih banyak siswa yang belum lulus sehingga diadakan ujian ulangan. Hasil supervisi guru SD Negeri 2 Peguyangan tanggal 1 Agustus 2018 masih ditemukan adanya guru yang belum maksimal dan masih dilihat lemahnya kualitas pengajaran guru. Bertitik tolak dan hasil-hasil penelitian yang menggambarkan kondisi di SD Negeri 2 Peguyangan, yaitu dimana masih lemahnya kualitas pengajaran guru, kualitas supervisi pengajaran kepala sekolah, sehingga berdampak pada hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan uraian di atas juga tampak bahwa hasil belajar dipengaruhi oleh kualitas supervisi pengajaran kepala sekolah dan kualitas pengajaran guru. Untuk itu perlu kiranya dikaji tentang ?Model Pendekatan Supervisi untuk Meningkatkan Kualitas Pengajaran Guru-guru pada SD Negeri 2  Peguyangan Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019?. Kualitas pengajaran guru dalam penelitian ini difokuskan pada kemampuan guru dalam menggunakan model kooperatif tipe STAD pada kurikulum2013.  Pada siklus I terdapat 1 orang guru yang masih mendapatkan nilai rendah sehingga pada secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif setelah kedua siklus dilaksanakan maka 1 orang guru Kelas IV SD Negeri 2 Peguyangan Berhasil (100%) meningkatkan kualitas mengajar dengan peningkatan 50%.

Abstract

Character education is a foundation of a nation that needs to be invested early on to children. Children grow and flourish in a life that is colored by violation of the rights of others to violence, coercion, ignorance, confusion between right and wrong, good and bad, behavior may and may not be done. The inculcation of character education values should start early in the home, community, and school. Character education is expected to make students skilled, knowledgeable, and morals. Students are expected not only to have intellectual ability, more than tuition is also expected to have good character. Good intellectual ability must be balanced with good character education as well. The tale will provide a place for children to learn various emotions and feelings as well as learn the values of the characters.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan menyentuh berbagai segi kehidupan manusia seperti cara hidup, kesempatan berkarya, bertetangga, bermasyarakat, bahkan bernegara. Oleh karena itu usaha sadar untuk mendalami berbagai segi kepemimpinan yang efektif terutama dalam organisasi perlu dilakukan secara terus menerus agar kehidupan menjadi lebih mutual. Hal ini karena keberhasilan suatu organisasi baik keseluruhan maupun sebagai kelompok dalam suatu organisasi tertentu sangat bergantung pada mutu kepemimpinan yang terdapat dalam organisasi yang bersangkutan.PPKn dalam tujuannya bagaimana mampu menghasilkan sifat dan perilaku warga yang baik dan bertanggung jawab serta bermanfaat bagi masyarakat, bangsa dan Negara. Salah satu cara dalam mencapai tujuan ini adalah dengan memanfaatkan suatu identitas yang ada dalam suatu masyarakat dalam pembelajaran. Keberadaan suatu identitas bangsa akan ditopang oleh kebudayaan daerahnya masing-masing, dan kebudayaan adalah salah satu pembentuk karakter masyarakat.

Abstract

Technological developments today?s have entered a global level and cover all fields including education. To face the challenges of the future, Human Resources must be improved, so compulsory education is a top priority. In relation to Hinduism education, the teacher as an educator must absolutely be able to develop 21st century skills, as stated in the 2013 Curriculum implementation, so that students are able to realize it when they enter the community. The implications of 21st century skills in the process of Hinduism education actually expect that Hindu students as the next generation of Hindus in the future, are able to think critically to break down irrelevant dogmas. 21st century skills also emphasize improving social and spiritual attitudes that are able to realize Hindu students care for others, care for the environment, and have strong sradha and bhakti. In addition, 21st century skills also expect Hindu students to have online-based work skills and readiness to compete globally. Thus, Hindu?s students as the next generation of young people will be able to face the challenges of the future in the future with strong human resources and also have great spiritual mentality.

Abstract

The increasing number of cases of violence that have occurred in the community lately, have been carried out by children to other, making parents worried. They feel that the environment in which their children are growing is no longer conducive. Furthermore, parents are convinced that most children today need appropriate help and treatment. There are three trends of parenting applied by parents to their children, namely: authoritarian, permissive and democratic parenting. These three patterns are influenced by the factors of maturity, education and diversity of parents. Caregiving cannot be separated from the understanding that every child experiences a sensorimotor, pre-operational, concrete operational and formal operational phase throughout their lifetime. This work describes descriptively about parenting as taught and inspired by Maharsi Chanakya in his work Niti Sastra. He said that it is better to have one suputra child, than one hundred kuputra children, and a suputra child who brings glory to his family. For this reason, parenting when children aged zero to five years should be spoiled, when children aged six to fifteen can be cared for by punishments, and when children are sixteen years and over, children can be educated by means of friendship.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 2 Peguyangan di Kelas III    semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018 dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui apakah Penggunaan  model pembelajaran CTL (Contextual Teaching And Learning) dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar Bahasa Indonesia  siswa kelas III  semester II tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Metode pengumpulan datanya adalah tes prestasi belajar dengan metode analisis datanya adalah deskriptif kuantitatif karena data yang diperoleh masih berbentuk angka. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini dapat dijabarkan sebagai berikut: untuk data awal  63,5    data siklus I terjadi peningkatan 66,73 dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 80,19. Setelah dilakukan analisis dari data yang ada maka diperoleh kesimpulan Penggunaan model pembelajaran CTL( Contextual Teaching And Learning) jika dilaksanakan dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

In this globalization era the role of science and technology covers various aspects of life, especially the world of Education. Education is an aspect of supporting the success of a nation. Hinduism Education is a subject that instills Hinduism. In learning Hinduism Education learning media becomes the main  support of the learning process. Learning  media as a channel for information and messages in learning. Information technology-based learning media is a demand in facing the challenges of 21st century Education. 21st century education has four skills in learning communication (Communication), Collaboration (Collaboration), Critical Thingking and Problem Solving (Critical Thinking and problem solving) and Creativity and Innovation (Creativity and Innovation). With the guidance of the age development, the use of IT-based learning  media  in  learning  Hinduism Education  will  facilitate the transfer  of knowledge  in learning. The benefit of using IT-based learning media is to facilitate the interaction between teachers and students so that learning activities become effective and efficient The use of Information Technology-based learning media such as the internet, mobile phones, flash disks, etc. facilitates the transfer of knowledge in learning.

Abstract

Guru merupakan sumber daya manusia yang menjadi perencana, pelaku dan penentu tercapainya tujuan pendidikan. Untuk itu dalam menunjang kegiatan guru diperlukan iklim sekolah yang kondusif dan hubungan yang baik antar unsur-unsur yang ada di sekolah antara lain kepala sekolah, guru, tenaga administrasi dan siswa. Kinerja guru (performance) merupakan hasil yang dicapai oleh guru dalam melaksanakan tugas-tugas yang dibebankan kepadanya yang didasarkan atas kecakapan, pengalaman dan kesungguhan serta penggunaan waktu. Upaya-upaya untuk meningkatkan kinerja itu biasanya dilakukan dengan cara memberikan motivasi.Motivasi merupakan suatu kekuatan potensial yang ada pada diri seseorang manusia, yang dapat dikembangkannya sendiri, atau dikembangkan oleh sejumlah kekuatan luar yang pada intinya sekitar imbalan moneter, dan imbalan nonmoneter, yang dapat mempengaruhi hasil kinerjanya secara positif atau negatif, hal mana tergantung pada situasi dan kondisi yang dihadapi orang yang bersangkutan. Motivasi bukan timbul dari dalam diri manusia saja, melainkan juga dari kekuatan-kekuatan linkungan yang mempengaruhi individu untuk melakukan sesuatu berdasarkan/tujuan tujuan yang telah ditetapkan sebelumnya untuk dicapai. Motivasi mempersoalkan bagaimana caranya gairah kerja guru, agar guru mau bekerja keras dengan menyumbangkan segenap kemampuan, pikiran, keterampilan untuk mewujudkan tujuan pendidikan. Para guru mempunyai cadangan energi potensial, bagaimana energi tersebut akan dilepaskan atau digunakan tergantung pada kekuatan dorongan motivasi seseorang dan situasi serta peluang yang tersedia.

Abstract

Pedagogic is a science that discusses education, namely the science of children's education. So pedagogic tries to explain the intricacies of children's education, pedagogic is a theory of children's education. Pedagogic as a science is really needed by teachers, especially kindergarten teachers and elementary school teachers because they will be dealing with minors. The task of the teacher is not just teaching to convey, or transform knowledge to children in school, but the teacher carries the task of developing the personality of his students in an integrated manner. The teacher develops the child's mental attitude, develops the child's conscience or child's conscience, so that the child will be sensitive to human problems, human dignity, so does the teacher only develop the child's life skills in the community so that he is able to face all the problems of his life. it discusses the notion of teacher competency, pedagogic understanding, pedagogical competence.
