Comics is a reading medium that is a favorite for some people in Indonesia. Reading comics has become a habit or a hobby for some people. Various types of titles, genres, and types of comics have been found in the world and also in Indonesia. In this digital era, printed comics are challenged by the changing times that have migrated from the printed book system to digital books. This study wants to see how the comic fan community has an opinion about the displacement that occurs in the world of comics. In the existing dualism, each version that exists in the type of printed or digital comic has its own appeal for its fans. Comics have become an alternative reading medium which is a hobby for some people. The convergence of comics at this time received mixed opinions from the audience. Digital and printed comics still have an attractive side for the audience to continue reading and collecting.

PUBG Mobile has features that help in the interaction process between players such as Quick Chat, Chat and Voice Chat. Exclamatory words and sentences using English are available in the Quick chat list in the game. The purpose of this study is to find out how the use of English in the Quick Chat feature in the interaction of PUBG Mobile game players. This research is a type of literature research with a qualitative approach. The results of the study show that the use of English in the Quick Chat feature in the interaction of PUBG Mobile game players belongs to the register language variation which has a function as a command. The use of Message in the Quick Chat feature is a form of differentiating the form of communication used by PUBG Mobile game players with other online games. English used as the link players from different countries.

Pilkada Depok tahun 2020 dapat dianggap menjadi ancaman nyata bagi hegemoni PKS setelah sekitar 15 tahun berkuasa di Depok. Hal ini disebabkan karena PKS berhadapan dengan koalisi besar yang dimotori dua partai raksasa dengan logistik pemilu yang banyak yaitu partai Gerindra dan PDI-P. Sementara itu, Depok dikenal sebagai basisnya PKS di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi komunikasi dakwah PKS terhadap sikap pemilih muslim pada pilkada Depok 2020. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, maka dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang kuat antara strategi komunikasi dakwah PKS terhadap sikap pemilih muslim pada pilkada Depok. PKS sebagai komunikator membuat strategi komunikasi yang baik kepada pemilih muslim. Respon pemilih muslim yang positif terhadap strategi komunikasi dakwah PKS ditandai dengan stimulus yang diberikan, dapat diterima oleh pemilih sebagai komunikan. Hasil positif pada pilkada Depok 2020, berarti sudah untuk keempat kalinya, PKS sukses membawa usungannya memenangi pilkada kota Depok dan menempatkan kader mereka menjadi wali kota Depok.

The emergence of various kinds of waste problems in Indonesia has made the role of environmental communication very much needed. Environmental communication is used in this study as a means to determine the participation of the community, community and government in an effort to inform, educate and remind the public directly or indirectly about the importance of participating in communicating about the environment. The purpose of this study is to determine and describe in detail the participation of the Zero Waste Indonesia community in supporting a zero waste lifestyle. This research is focused on the main question, namely how environmental communication activities in the form of participation related to communication, changes in attitudes, awareness, enthusiasm, and responsibility. This study uses a reference to the concept of five important elements of participation in determining the success of participation, according to Santoso Sastropoetro in the book Participation, Communication, Persuasion and Discipline in Social Development in 1988. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with constructivism paradigm. The results of the research obtained in this study are that the Zero Waste Indonesia community can communicate environmental communication well through digital communication that is focused on its official Instagram, but the Zero Waste Indonesia community has not been able to monitor its followers to truly implement a zero waste lifestyle in daily life.

Masculinity is a topic that has attracted the attention of many researchers. They examine causes, patterns of change, and impacts. This article attempts to understand masculinity in the perspective of cultural imperialism. Through the perspective of cultural imperialism, we find evidence that masculinity is not born from the womb of the local community's culture, but rather as a result of the practice of colonialism and imperialism. In the era of media globalization, cultural imperialism places more emphasis on the psychological aspect where advertisements and television shows set a new standard of masculinity for men. This paper will discuss the influence of cultural imperialism and media hegemony on the construction of masculinity in society.

AbstractThis study examines the communication strategy is a communication planning guide. The success of a broadcasting company is supported by the quality of human resources who work on the radio. The programs served by radio stations are very diverse, including information programs and entertainment programs. Radio broadcast programs are programs that are served to explain the latest information on various topics that are around the community. Mass media, such as radio, has a communication strategy structure so that people who listen to the radio can always be heard. Currently, media such as radio is increasingly being eroded by the domination of other media. So that to maintain this number of listeners, a communication strategy is needed, to get an increase in the quality of broadcasters and to increase the interest of listeners.

Social networks are communication media that are used for sharing information and communicating. However, the popularity of social networks's user can not cover the anxiety about the privacy of user information data. This study aims to examine the factors that influence user anxiety about data security and security behavior. This study consists of five variables, namely response efficacy, self-efficacy, security awareness, and perceived security threat as an independent variable and internet user information privacy concern, and security behavior as the dependent variable. This study is a quantitative study that collects data and distributes questionnaires. The data in the study were analyzed through structural equation modeling (SEM) techniques with the help of SPSS. From the results of the study, this study proves that user perceptions of security threats (perceived security threats) have a significant effect on user anxiety about data privacy security when accessing social networks (Internet Users' Information Privacy Concern). This research provides insight to social network users to be more selective in managing data information security in providing personal data and taking protective actions against security behavior.

Today, social media has become a self-representation and a form of existence for teenagers. One of the platforms that is currently popular is Instagram. These teenagers are aware that Instagram can affect their self-image, so in some cases they choose to share their stories and complaints with alternative Instagram accounts, in order to maintain their self-image. This study uses a qualitative method with a theoretical approach to Goffman's Dramaturgy. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the informants created other Instagram accounts with the aim of being a place to complain, a place for collecting college assignments, and various other personal interests, because on their main account they use photos and their real names which are used as imaging.

The presence of the Covid-19 pandemic and high internet penetration in Indonesia have also encouraged community activities, one of which is digital activism. The purpose of this article is to describe digital activism carried out in the midst of a pandemic that has received a lot of repressive measures in cyberspace. The approach used is media cloud content analysis of Tempo.co news related to digital repression in Indonesia from March to December 2020. Researchers processed data using Nvivo 12 Plus software, the data generated included crosstab and wordcloud analysis. The results showed that hacking and doxing attacks were the most discussed cases of digital repression on Tempo.co. In addition, law enforcement and law enforcement against democracy in danger are indicators of the highest issue in Tempo.co's reporting. While the wordcloud analysis shows quotes from the police and government, many words imply some form of performance from the Police and Government.

Losses and profits are common things that happen to big companies. But it will be a problem if the company often suffers losses. Losses experienced by the company if not handled properly can affect other aspects. The crisis was due to losses that did not better will make the company have to take certain steps, which ultimately had an impact on the fate of the company. Retail Giant is one of the many retailers that have closed due to company losses. Giant which is a subsidiary of PT Hero Supermarket (HERO Group) decided to close all outlets in July 2021. The issue that emerged was that Giant had done Termination of Employment and closed dozens of outlets in various locations. The purpose of this study was to find out how crisis management was carried out by public relations at PT Hero Supermarket at the closing of the Giant Indonesia outlet. The theory used in this research is the crisis management theory. The method used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive analysis approach and content analysis. The results obtained by researchers in this study are PT Hero Supermarket's public relations divide the crisis into three parts; pre-crisis, crisis phase, and post-crisis. In the pre-crisis phase, the company tries to convince the public that the outstanding issues can still be resolved, in the crisis phase the company takes steps to permanently close the Giant stores, and in the post-crisis stage the company guarantees that employee rights are fulfilled.
