Remaja yang sadar dan akan peluang dan tantangan masa depan memerlukan pembelajaran guna mengembangkan fitrah dan potensi dasar yang telah dimiliki agar mereka merasa senang dan bangga atas dirinya sendiri sehingga ia mau belajar dan berlatih bersama teman-teman sebayanya. Dalam perkembangan teknologi yang begitu pesat, remaja tidak dapat mengelakkan kemajuan perkembangan media sosial. Media sosial menjadi faktor utama untuk mendapatkan informasi terkini, sarana bersosialisasi dan menjalin relasi, bahkan mampu merubah cara pandang seseorang dalam menyikapi sesuatu yang sedang terjadi. Seakan telah manampikkan faktor tatap muka, media sosial yang terfasilitasi oleh internet kini bahkan telah menjadi sarana sosialisasi dan menjalin relasi yang paling massif digunakan oleh para remaja karena dianggap tidak memiliki batasan ruang dan waktu. Namun tentu saja tidak semua remaja sadar akan peluang dan potensi yang ia miliki atas dirinya. Mereka masih memerlukan bimbingan dan arahan dari para orang dewasa guna menemukan role model sebagai acuan pembentukan identitasnya, menumbuhkan kepercayaan dan penerimaan atas dirinya, mengembangkan ketrampilan komunikasi interpersonal dan bergaul dengan teman sebayanya. Pemberian pengetahuan dan pemahaman mengenai personal branding ini tentunya dapat membantu mereka dalam menyiapkan dan meningkatkan daya saing serta kepekaan terhadap tantangan perkembangan zaman yang mengharuskan mereka untuk mampu mengembangkan kemampuan diri, memiliki gagasan cemerlang dengan metode thinking out of the box, memiliki kemampuan berkomunikasi yang baik dengan memanfaatkan media sosial dan internet secara bijak.

English is a language that has generally been used as a forum for communication with an international scope, so that English can be said to be universal, where its use is not only a communication bridge in everyday life in the international world but has also penetrated cyber communication. Especially in the current era of globalization, the very fast exchange of information related to scientific developments requires students to have proficiency in mastering English. English proficiency is not only a requirement for students to study abroad, but also for exploring more global knowledge, where available materials such as those in international journals are generally available in English. The problem that arises is that students are constrained in mastering English as a compulsory skill that must be possessed at this time. Therefore, this activity aims to motivate and provide awareness regarding the importance of mastering English among students. This activity was carried out at the FKIP Syiah Kuala University Auditorium which was attended by approximately 120 students. This activity aims to make students more motivated and motivated to hone their mastery of English, so that they have international insights and are useful as a tool to answer the challenges of scientific development in the era of globalization.

Pubic speaking is an individual skill that is a necessity in the current era of disruption. Public speaking skills are needed to support the best results in education, the social environment, and the workplace. But not everyone is able to do public speaking well. Previous research states that the condition is caused by excessive fear of individuals to speak in front of the crowd (glossophobia). The objectives of this training are (1) to open students' horizons about public speaking; (2) arousing student motivation so as not to worry about public speaking; and (3) train students practically to be able to practice public speaking in everyday life. This training uses three stages, namely, pre-training research, lectures and discussions, and the practice of public speaking. The results of the training provide practical public speaking techniques to students with a simple concept known as POBCÂ namelyPlanning, Opening, the Body of Speech, and ConclusionÂ and mind mapping. This method is considered to make it easier for students to do public speaking systematically from planning to closing interesting speeches.

Human conflict with wildlife is a complex problem because it isnâ€™t only related to human safety but also with the safety of wildlife itself. Conflicts that have occurred have pushed the Government of Aceh, District/City Government and related parties to be more wise in understanding the lives of wild animals so that the handling and prevention measures can be optimized and based on the root of the problem. For this reason, a legal protection is needed in the form of a qanun which is expected to be able to integrate all available resources to protect wildlife in Aceh. The method of implementation in community service is to get involved with the expert team Commission II DPRA in drafting the Qanun of Wildlife Management until finally the qanun was ratified on 27 September 2019 and then promulgated to be Qanun on 29 October 2019. The participation of the authors in the drafting of the draft qanun of wildlife includes part of the process of forming the qanun, including starting from the stages of planning, drafting, and discussion. While the stages of ratification or stipulation, enactment and dissemination are carried out by the DPRA and the Government of Aceh itself in accordance with their respective duties, functions and authorities.

Post-armed conflict and tsunami disasters, the Government of Aceh seek to implement public services and development programs transparent and accountable. One of the strategic steps taken is its implementation based on the mandate of the public information disclosure Act (KIP Law) and Aceh Qanun (Aceh Regional Regulation) Number 7 of 2019 on KIP Management. Even though it already has KIP rules, there are still some problems in its implementation, such as compliance with SKPA in providing public information and the number of disputes over public information. This study aims to identify and analyze the dynamics of the implementation of public information within the Aceh Government and the challenges of public management. This study uses a qualitative method through observation, document review, and interviews. The basis of data analysis uses Information Commission Regulation Number 1 of 2010 and Aceh Governor Regulation Number 57 of 2018. The results are (1) SKPA has work plans, programs, and activities for the management of public information; (2) there is a budget allocation for Information and Documentation Implementation Officers (PPID); (3) It has a list of public information and SOPs. The findings of this study also find logistical consequences for the future of Aceh's development through the KIP perspective. Information that is open, accessible, and inexpensive can nurture public trust in the Aceh Government and in itself will increase community participation in development. This study aims to analyze the frame used by the media in the Covid-19 coverage in Indonesia on the Kompas.com and detik.com news portals during March 2020. The method used is framing analysis with three indicators, namely, frame type, news source, and news tone. The results showed that in the Covid-19 coverage in Indonesia the media used two dominant frames, namely, (1) the public health frame to show the aspects of victims, risks, and threats of Covid-19 and (2) the policy frame to frame the government's strategy in handling Covid-19. In the reporting of Covid-19, the Central Government such as the Ministry of Health, the Government Spokesperson on the Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling Covid-19, and the President of the Republic of Indonesia. As for the news tone, the two media studied showed that the narrative of fear and worry is the dominant tone. While the recommended tone and instructions as well as the tone of hope and solution are not displayed by too much media. This research recommends that the media and journalists use narratives that build expectations and provide solutions for the public because the Covid-19 disaster increased public uncertainty. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis frame yang digunakan media dalam pemberitaan Covid-19 di Indonesia pada portal berita kompas.com dan detik.com selama bulan Maret 2020. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis framing dengan tiga indikator, yaitu, jenis frame, narasumber berita, dan tone berita. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam pemberitaan Covid-19 di Indonesia media menggunakan dua bingkai dominan, yaitu, (1) frame kesehatan publik untuk menunjukkan aspek korban, risiko, dan ancaman Covid-19 dan (2) frame kebijakan untuk membingkai strategi pemerintah dalam penanganan Covid-19. Narasumber pemberitaan Covid-19 adalah Pemerintah Pusat seperti Kementerian Kesehatan, Juru Bicara Pemerintah pada Gugus Tugas Percepatan Penanganan Covid-19, dan Presiden. Untuk tone berita, dua media yang diteliti menunjukkan narasi ketakutan dan kekhawatiran merupakan tone dominan, sedangkan tone anjuran dan instruksi serta tone harapan dan solusi tidak terlalu banyak ditampilkan media. Riset ini merekomendasikan agar media dan jurnalis menggunakan narasi yang membangun harapan dan memberikan solusi bagi publik karena bencana Covid-19 meningkatkan ketidakpastian khalayak.

Era digital membuka peluang bagi perempuan bukan hanya untuk merepresentasikan eksistensi diri, tetapi dapat dimanfaatkan bagi peningkatan kapasitas diri untuk lebih berdaya secara pendidikan dan ekonomi tanpa harus meninggalkan peran mereka dalam keluarga. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan menjelaskan representasi diri perempuan berdaya di era digital khususnya di media sosial. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis konten kualitatif dengan objek kajian akun Instagram @RachelVennya. Berdasarkan hasil penelurusan, koding, dan analisis data ditemukan bahwa Rachel Vennya merepresentasikan diri sebagai pesohor Instagram dan pengusaha perempuan yang tetap memprioritaskan kehidupan domestiknya di keluarga. Bentuk-bentuk representasi dirinya adalah berdikari secara ekonomi, pentingnya pendidikan bagi perempuan, mengutamakan keluarga, perempuan harus mampu memimpin, dan perempuan dapat berekspresi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Rachel Vennya adalah sebuah bukti bahwa perempuan mampu merepresentasikan diri mereka sebagai sosok yang tidak hanya terampil di area domestik, tetapi juga berpeluang menjadi inspirator dan pemimpin di era digital.

Implementation of periodically election periodically show that Indonesia is one of the countries which embrace democratic system. Meanwhile in the process, election requires political participation presences from citizen to declare and define their desire as a source of the legitimacy. However the facts, political participation of the citizen in 2017’s election tend to decrease than a couple years before. This matter occur because amount of corruption news that to be exposed in mass media. It was impact to disappearance of political trust and interest the beginner voters who didn’t realize that their apathetic attitude would aggravate to political environtment in Indonesia. This research aim to analysis how the corruption news which reported in mass media take effect about the apathetic attitude of beginner voters. Which uses cultivation theory, this research apply the quantitative approach and positivism paradigm that use survey research. Data collection techniques of probability sampling with 93 respondents samples. With simple linear regression method, was indicate a positive and significant dominant influence about the media access experience of beginner voters with political apathetic tendency, with contribution of influence 73,1%, R 2=0.0731, ß=0,855 and p<0,01. Almost twenty one years Indonesia escape from the clutches from the regime of Orde Baru, in fact this nation does not necessarily become a democratic nation. The concept of citizenship embodied in the fourth principle of Pancasila which should interpreted as a citizen of the owner of supreme sovereignty in a country, it misinterpreted into objects which is influenced by the wisdom of the authorities, and the implementation of democracy is run solely limited to compliance with the rules and not within the framework to empower citizens. In the middle uncertainty of finding the ideal form of democracy, appear discourse on deliberative democracy which emphasizes the active participation of citizens through the media and the vocal organizations to play a very significant influence in the process of establishing the legal and political policies. If we explored it more deeply, this idea looks similar to the idea of Democracy of Pancasila which was popularized by the founding fathers of Indonesia. Offering a more humanistic approach, egalitarian, and accommodating this idea seems quite interesting if it actually implemented in Indonesia.Keyword: Citizens, Deliberative, Democracy, Participation.
