Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of digitally differentiated Arabic language learning for students with special needs in the Integrated Islamic Elementary School at SDIT Darul Falah Sukoreo Ponorogo. It is case study research involving seven students with special needs at SDIT Darul Falah. The data collection technique uses observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis is carried out by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions drawn. The study results showed that Arabic at SDIT Darul Falah Sukorejo Ponorogo is a lesson within the framework of an informal curriculum that must be taught to regular students and students with special needs. Second, the Arabic learning methodology for students with special needs focuses on the self-esteem approach, which aims to increase student confidence, which can affect Arabic's motivation and learning outcomes. Third, Digital Differentiated Arabic Language Learning for students with special needs uses more digital media such as audio-visual media, animated graphics, and educational and social media; this effort is carried out on the principle of second language learning (B2), which must involve the needs of students, especially students with special needs. Digitally differentiated Arabic learning has shown its effectiveness in improving the quality of learning. This digital media can help students with special needs to understand and interact with Arabic more easily. Teachers at SDIT must be trained to use the self-esteem approach and digital technology to learn Arabic. This is so teachers can effectively teach students with special needs.

Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of individual counseling services with a reality counseling approach in increasing self-acceptance in children in orphanages. The study used an experimental method with a Pre-Experiment model and The One Group Pretest and post-test design. The population in this study was all 378 orphanage children, and the subjects used in the study were five orphanage children using a purposive random sampling technique. Self-acceptance was measured using a Likert scale before and after the counseling intervention. The primary data source used in the study was the test results from 5 informants (children in orphanages), and secondary data using sources relevant to the study. Data collection techniques used observation, tests, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test to test for significant differences between the pretest and posttest. The results showed that individual counseling services with a reality counseling approach significantly increased children's self-acceptance. Through a series of counseling sessions, children learn to face the realities of their lives more positively and adaptively, develop higher self-awareness, and build effective coping skills. These findings provide important contributions to the fields of psychology and counseling, especially in helping children in orphanages develop self-acceptance and face life challenges more optimistically. Although this study has limitations, such as a small sample size, the results provide a strong basis for similar interventions in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to explain how to internalize religious character values through learning Himpunan Putusan Tarjih Muhammadiyah at the KH. Mas Mansur student boarding school, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. This research utilizes a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The research data collection technique was performed through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out based on the analysis initiated by Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification. The data is summarized and then juxtaposed with supporting theories, discourses, and research. The research results show that five religious character values are internalized through Himpunan Putusan Tarjih learning to mahasantri: collaboration, independence, hard work, honesty, and brotherhood. The strategy of internalizing religious character values in Himpunan Putusan Tarjih uses the lecture method, demonstration method, and problem-based learning through discussion. Furthermore, some obstacles were still encountered in its implementation, namely the limited duration of learning and the lack of enthusiasm and activeness of the mahasantri in learning, so learning did not seem very conducive. The supporting aspects that influence the internalization of religious character values are the natural instincts of individuals, habits that are practiced repeatedly, and the good influence of the environment and people around them. As for the aspects that obstruct the process, namely the lack of awareness of mahasantri, the use of technology, and the lack of management supervision. Therefore, it is essential to have the role and responsibility of boarding school organizers in overcoming these challenges by developing a comprehensive understanding of religious character, criticism and suggestions for various attitudes and routines of mahasantri, intensive evaluation through an efficient approach, and the role of boarding school with surrounding people in maintaining good relations and striving to increase the success of internalization in various aspects of mahasantri life.

This study emphasizes the importance of aligning technological advancements with Islamic principles to uphold spiritual and ethical integrity while fostering innovation in teaching and learning methods. Recommendations include the development of technology-based curricula that harmonize religious and scientific knowledge, training programs for educators to effectively utilize digital tools, and policies to mitigate negative impacts on student character and behavior. Furthermore, the application of AR in Islamic studies and AI-based personalized learning provides immersive and meaningful educational experiences, fostering intellectual and moral growth. This research contributes insights into leveraging digital tools to adapt Islamic education to the demands of the digital age while maintaining its foundational values. Future studies are encouraged to explore the long-term impacts of technology integration across various educational levels to ensure sustainable and effective Islamic education reform.
