Abstract

The world's IT sector is no exception with Indonesia experiencing rapid development despite the Covid 19 pandemic, where the world of education is required to use and utilize a technology called computers. The study held below has a goal of developing media or materials used in the implementation of mathematics learning activities, especially in learning flat shapes using animation on the Microsoft Point application which is applied to grade IV (six) elementary school (SD) students. The purpose of this research is to examine the truth and readiness of the media or tools used in the implementation of mathematics learning activities, especially in learning to build flat using animations contained in the Microsoft PowerPoint application. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with a Research & Development (R&D) approach. This technique focuses on developing ADDIE through several stages, including (1) Analysis, (2) Designing, and (3) Development. Then 6 experts will test the validity, where this test will be divided into testing on design, language testing, and material testing, each of which requires at least 2 experts in their fields. The tool used in this study is the expert validation sheet. The results of this study are in the form of videos containing mathematics learning, especially in the fourth (sixth) grade flat shape learning. The animations contained in the Microsoft PowerPoint application were developed in the form of learning videos. The conclusion in the study of developing the media or tools used in this mathematics learning activity is in the "very valid" and "appropriate" categories. The initial validation carried out by this expert got 73.33% results so it was in the feasible category. Meanwhile, for the second validation, it got 92. 5% so that it is in the very feasible category. Then the validation in the language field for the first time got 72.91% results and placed it in the proper category, while for the second validation it got 91.6% results so it was in the very feasible category, then the last validation in the material field for the first time got 76.56% results so that it was in the proper category and for the second time validation it got 95.31% results so it was in the very feasible category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that cause learning difficulties in mathematics experienced by fourth-grade elementary school students. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The data sources in this study were fourth-grade teachers and all fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 09 Maredan which consisted of 24 students. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation with 3 stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The data analysis technique used the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that the factors causing student difficulties can be seen from two factors, namely internal factors, and external factors. Internal factors are student interest and enthusiasm in learning, student readiness in the learning process, student intelligence, student body, and mental condition, study habits, student interest in mathematics. While the external factors of students' difficulties in mathematics lessons in grade IV elementary school are: environmental conditions of students, parents' attention to the learning process, relationships with parents and those around them, relationships with teachers and friends at school, media and teaching materials as supporting tools in the school. class during the learning process, the condition of the classroom and school environment, the difficulty of the material in the content of mathematics lessons. Abstract

This study aims to describe Teacher Difficulties in Applying Learning Models based on the 2013 Curriculum at SDN 13 Belutu. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this study were the principal and 3 classroom teachers at SDN 13 Belutu. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the Milles and Huberman model with stages, data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results showed that at SDN 13 Belutu the teacher had implemented a learning model that was by the 2013 curriculum. The learning model used by the teacher was the Discovery Learning model and the Problem Based Learning model. The teacher's difficulty in applying the Discovery Learning learning model is the use of time. Because during the Covid-19 pandemic, the learning time is very short compared to before the pandemic. Furthermore, the difficulty of the teacher in applying the Problem Based Learning model is that the teacher has difficulty in allocating time and determining problems that are by the learning material when they want to use the Problem Based Learning model. And the last is the teacher's difficulty in implementing the Project-Based Learning model. The teacher has difficulty in determining the material and choosing the right time so the teacher does not use the Project-Based Learning model in the learning process.
