The community needs special attention to improve in a better direction; significant efforts are required. The built actions are a form of improvement efforts to various problems in the world of education. Character building is seen as a solution to these problems. This study aims to describe conceptually Islamic character building in the millennial era. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. This type of research is library research (library research). The subject of this research is the thought of Imam Al-Haddad. The study results suggest that character building, according to Imam Al-Haddad, is a perspective through the approach of tasawuf moral. Sufism is a teaching that has developed since classical and modern in countries with the Syafi'i school of thought. Sufism moral orientation leads to comprehensive character improvement based on the Al-Qur'an and hadith. In Sufism, it contains the morals of students to Allah SWT, the morals of students to teachers, the morals of students to themselves, and the morals of students to fellow humans. According to Imam Al-Haddad, the conception of character building is related to the values of character building. This linkage will strengthen the character values themselves, which students easily apply in studying or in their daily lives.

Methods: This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. This case study will try to examine in detail as well as in-depth a learning strategy for Islamic religious education teachers at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Gunungsitoli to improve student self-control. Results: Several strategies in increasing student self-control are individual approaches to students, habituation of doing positive things, good program organization, and the formation of shared responsibility in terms of increasing students' self-control which forms knowledge, attitudes, and controls their behavior towards positive, and good and true religious experiences. Supporting and inhibiting factors in increasing the self-control of students at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Gunungsitoli. In implementing self-control that there are several supporting factors such as principals, teachers, and students providing good support and support all types of programs that are held. The inhibiting factor is that the infrastructure is inadequate for learning given the large number of students who need a conducive learning place. On the other hand, time-limited learning becomes an obstacle considering the few hours of learning that can only be used for delivering the material demanded by the curriculum (syllabus) so that improvements in implementing self-control cannot take place properly.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of play and creativity learning methods on school maturity in Raudhatul Atfhal children in Gunungsitoli City. This study employed a quasi-experimental methodology. This method was chosen because the treatment class included both the learning class using the play method and the learning class using the formal method and the characteristics of the children being controlled were creativity, using Population and Research Samples. The study's findings indicate that learning methods have a positive and significant influence on children's school maturity. This can be seen in the difference in average school maturity test results of children taught by the play learning method as a whole, both in the group of children with high creativity and low creativity, which is higher than the difference in average school maturity test results of children taught by formal learning methods. Thus, to increase the maturity of children's schools, the method of learning through play is more effectively applied in learning at Raudhatul Atfhal.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of simulation learning strategies and educational background on the learning outcomes of fiqh students at Gunung Sitoli's private madrasah tsanawiyah. The method used in this study is quasi-experimental. This method was chosen because the treatment class, both for the simulated learning class and the expository learning class, was a pre-formed class and the students being controlled had an educational background. The results of statistical analysis calculations show that there is an interaction between learning strategies and educational backgrounds, with students with a MI educational background benefiting more from simulation learning strategies than expository learning strategies, and students with an elementary education background benefiting more from expository learning strategies than simulation learning strategies.

Abstract

Researchers have observed low student learning outcomes in the field of Islamic Cultural History, which cannot be separated from the influence of various factors in learning activities. One of the factors influencing learning outcomes is the teacher's teaching method, which is less appealing, causing students to become bored and pay less attention to the teacher's lessons. A quasi-experimental design model with a 1-way analysis of variance (Anava) and a 2 x 1 design is used in this study. Then, using population and samples, the team quiz strategy and practice rehearsal pairs strategy will be compared as independent variables and student learning outcomes as the dependent variable. There were significant differences in the learning outcomes of Islamic Cultural History when taught using a team quiz active learning strategy versus a practice rehearsal pairs active learning strategy. This is demonstrated by the statistical calculation of the t-test, which yields the value of tcount = 3.00 and the price of ttable = 2.0231. The average learning outcomes of Islamic Cultural History taught with the team quiz strategy = 17.85 were higher than the average learning outcomes of Islamic Cultural History taught with the practice rehearsal pairs strategy = 16.35.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of learning methods and learning activities on the learning outcomes of fiqh students at a private madrasah tsanawiyah in Gunung Sitoli city. This Research quantitative research method with a correlation research approach was used in this study. This study employs both a population and a sample. This study included four madrasas as participants. Only 72 students from the four madrasahs are included in the population. The sample is comprised of 72 students drawn from the entire population. The study's findings indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between the application of learning methods and student learning outcomes of Fiqh, which means that the higher and more positive the application of learning methods, the higher and more positive the student learning outcomes, with an effective contribution of 9.90 percent. This means that a variation of 9.90% in the variable application of learning methods can be predicted in terms of improving students' Fiqh learning outcomes.

Because there is an attraction for him, students who are interested in a lesson will study it thoroughly. Lessons that are interesting to students are easily remembered. When accompanied by interest, the learning process will run smoothly. This is a quantitative study using the correlational research method, to describe three things: determining the effect of the variable interest in learning (X1) on the variable learning outcomes of Fiqh (Y) students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Nias Utara and looking at the effect of the variable ability to communicate (X2) on the variable learning outcomes of Fiqh (Y) students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah The study's findings indicate a shared interest in learning and communication skills with the learning outcomes of Fiqh students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Nias Utara. The higher and more positive the students' interest in learning and ability to communicate, the higher and more positive the Fiqh learning outcomes for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Nias Utara students, with an effective contribution of 71.4 percent.
