Abstract

Health education is important for people to know and want to prevent coronary heart disease by consuming fish. Fish is an animal that produces omega-3 to prevent coronary heart disease by reducing low-density lipoprotein, which causes plaque buildup on blood vessel walls. Coronary heart disease is caused by a blockage in the walls of blood vessels, preventing blood from reaching the heart. This research aims to increase public knowledge about fish consumption behaviour in populations at risk of coronary heart disease through health education in Nganjat Village, Polanharjo District, Klaten Regency. The research method used is quantitative research, using a Quasi Experiment type and research design with a "One group pre-test post-test" research design. This research was carried out in October – November 2023 in Nganjat Village. The sample used was 50 respondents using a total sampling technique. The data collection technique used a pretest and posttest questionnaire totaling 10 questions to determine fish consumption behavior before and after being given health education. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon test which was processed using SPSS software. The study's results showed an influence of providing health education on fish consumption behavior in populations at risk of coronary heart disease (p-value = 0.000). It is recommended that health workers provide interactive and interactive information in the form of health promotion, useful educational media, and measure the impact of health education with a comprehensive evaluation of changes in fish consumption behavior in populations at risk of coronary heart disease. Keywords: Behavior, Coronary Heart Disease, Fish Consumption, Health Education

Abstract

Neonatal services are one of the government's efforts to reduce the risk of infant and maternal mortality. The quality of neonatal services is necessary to ensure that established standards provide services. The quality of neonatal services is related to postpartum mothers' compliance in carrying out neonatal visits. As primary health service providers, community health centers are responsible for providing optimal neonatal services. This study aims to determine the relationship between service quality and neonatal visits at Tawangmangu Health Center and Karangpandan Health Center, Karanganyar Regency. This research is a quantitative analytical research with a cross-sectional research design. The population in this study was postpartum mothers, totaling 119 people. The sampling technique is total sampling. The research sample was 112. The research instrument was a questionnaire. Data analysis uses the Chi-Square Test. The results of the study showed that there was no relationship between the quality of health services and neonatal visits at the Tawangmangu Health Center and Karangpandan Health Center, Karanganyar Regency (p-value 0.266; α > 0.005). Therefore, the quality of health services needs to be improved, especially in the dimension of empathy which is still lacking. Empathy can be enhanced through personal relationships with patients. Health workers should always provide information about the importance of visits to health services and also recommend involving the people closest to them so that mothers make regular visits to maintain their health and know the growth and development of babies and toddlers so that it can increase the mortality rate. speed. speed. Keywords: Quality of Service, Neonatal Visits, Community Health Center

Abstract

Sibolga City is one of the priority cities in the effort to accelerate stunting reduction. Sibolga City implements an accelerated stunting prevalence reduction program that involves cross-sectors, better known as the convergence action to accelerate stunting reduction. The purpose of the study was to evaluate the implementation of the convergence program to accelerate stunting reduction in Sibolga City. This research is a qualitative study involving 18 informants from  Regional Work Units  that are members of the Sibolga City  Stunting Reduction Acceleration Team. This research was conducted in November 2023 in Sibolga City, which consists of 4 sub-districts and 17 villages. Data were collected by conducting Focus Group Discussions and in-depth interviews. Furthermore,  Data is analyzed through triangulation of methods, sources, and between researchers. The results of the analysis of the effectiveness of the program show that the quality of human resources and financing sources is good enough to reduce the stunting rate in the kelurahan which is the locus of stunting. Likewise, the results of the analysis of the program implementation process. The program planning that was prepared was in accordance with the problems obtained in the situation analysis and had targeted the locus villages determined in the situation analysis. The implementation and evaluation process has also been carried out well, which ultimately has an impact on reducing the stunting prevalence rate by 11.3%. As an effort to encourage a greater reduction in stunting prevalence, we recommend that the Sibolga City Government increase human resource capacity and funding, encourage the involvement of various parties including the private sector in accelerating stunting reduction programs in Sibolga City, improve coordination between Regional Work Units in the planning, implementation and evaluation processes and encourage the availability of a quality and sustainable data management system in each villageKeywords: Accelerate, Convergence, Reduction, Prevalence, Stunting
