Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya kasus cerai gugat yang terjadi di Kecamatan Mungka Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota. Istri yang seharusnya sebagai pengelola rumah tangga dan pencipta suasana menyenangkan dalam keluarga pada kenyataannya justru mengajukan gugatan cerai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan penyebab istri menggugat cerai, dilihat dari aspek penyesuaian dalam perkawinan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penyebab istri menggugat cerai. Subjek penelitian adalah pasangan yang sudah bercerai sejak tahun  2015-2017, sebanyak 50 orang. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket  berskala. Data diolah dengan menggunakan teknik persentase. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan penyebab istri menggugat cerai menurut istri adalah karena: 1) 70% suami kurang bertanggung jawab dalam memberi nafkah, 2) 68% suami tidak menjalankan perannya sebagai kepala keluarga, 3) 26% ketika lelah suami tetap memaksa melakukan hubungan seksual, 4) 36% suami lebih memperhatikan keluarganya daripada rumah tangga, dan 5) 26% mertua terlalu ikut campur dalam keluarga.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a phenomenon that occurs in the field that the number of students using Instagram social media has narcissistic behavior, and one of the factors that influence narcissistic behavior is self-esteem. Students who have narcissistic behavior usually have low self-esteem because students have a need to get appreciation and appreciation for the formation of self-esteem, and this is the reason individuals use social media, especially Instagram, to fulfill all those needs. This study aims to 1) describe the self-esteem of students, 2) describe the behavior of narcissism instagram social media users in students, 3) test the significance of the relationship between self-esteem and the narcissism behavior of instagram social media users in students. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive correlational approach. The subject of this study was 50 students of SMA Negeri 1 Gunung Talang who were identified as students who had a tendency to narcissistic behavior. The instruments used were (1) inventory of self-esteem, (2) questionnaire narcissism behavior on instagram social media users with a Likert Scale model. Data analysis techniques used descriptive and correlational analysis techniques using computer program assistance Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 20.0. Research findings show that (1) student self-esteem is in the low category, (2) narcissism behavior of instagram social media users are in the narcissism category, (3) there is a significant negative relationship between self-esteem and the narcissistm behavior of instagram social media users on students with a correlation coefficient of -0.548 and a significant level of 0,000.

Abstract

Independence requires an individual's readiness, both physical and emotional readiness without having to depend on others. to achieve independence, parenting can be a factor to help develop independence for adolescents. This study aims to examine the relationship of authoritative, authoritarian, indulgent and indifferent parenting with adolescent independence. This research is a descriptive correlational research with quantitative methods. Sampling in this study used stratified random sampling with a sample of 168 students. The research instruments used were questionnaires for parenting and independence of adolescents. The results revealed that (1) parenting mostly tended to apply authoritative parenting, (2) adolescent independence was in a fairly independent category, (3) there was a positive relationship with authoritative parenting with adolescent independence, (4) no parenting relationship authoritarian, (5) there is no relationship between indulgent parenting and adolescent independence, (6) there is no negative relationship between indifferent parenting parents and adolescent independence.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) describe student self esteem, (2) describe parenting style, (3) describe differences in student self esteem based on parenting. This type of research is quantitative with a comparative descriptive approach. The population of this study was 481 Adabiah 1 Padang High School students, sampling using the Stratified Random Sampling technique, and obtained a sample of 218 students. The instrument used was a questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale. The data obtained were analyzed using percentage techniques and to see the difference between two variables, namely using variance analysis (Anava). The research findings show that: (1) students 'self esteem is in the high category, (2) parenting is in the high category, (3) there is a significant difference between students' self esteem based on parenting, where there is a sig value. As small as 0.013 of 0.05, there is a significant difference between student self esteem based on parenting. To determine which self-esteem is higher by looking at the mean value. The mean value of self-esteem authoritarian parenting is 70.16, self-esteem of democratic parenting is 75.28, and self-esteem of permissive parenting is 74.35. Then it can be concluded that self esteem with democratic parenting is higher than authoritarian and permissive parenting.

Abstract

Self-confidence is an attitude that students need to have in order to develop their potential optimally. But in reality at school students are still afraid to express opinions in front of the class, afraid of being laughed at by friends when expressing opinions in front of the class. Many things can be done to improve student            confidence one of them by utilizing guidance and counseling services, namely content mastery services. Thisstudy aims to examine differences in student confidence before and after content mastery services are provided using a self directed learning approach. This research uses quantitative methods. This type of research is a pre-experiment, using the one pretest-posttest design. The subjects of this study were 12 students of SMP Negeri 13 Padang in class VIII of 12 students. Data were analyzed using nonparametric statistical techniques using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results of the study noticed that the pretest score was 1480 and posttest 1951. Furthermore for the Asymp hypothesis test. Sig. (2-tailed) students' confidence in the experimental group was 0.002 or the probability under alpha 0.05 (0.002 ≤ 0.05) of these results revealed that Ho was rejected and H1 was accepted. Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that content mastery services using an effective self directed learning approach to increase student confidence.

Abstract

One of the goals of education is to develop the potential of students to be creative human beings. However, in reality in the field there are still students who have not shown the characteristics of creativity such as not having great curiosity, there are still students who have not been able to make their own decisions, and parents who restrict children from choosing extracurricular activities. Creativity is an ability that is owned by students who are different from others (unique) in solving a problem and it is suspected that one of the factors that influence it is parenting parents. This research is a descriptive correlational research with quantitative methods. The total sample of 256 students was selected using the Stratified Proportional Random Sampling technique. The research instruments used were parenting questionnaires and student creativity questionnaires. The results revealed that (1) the parenting style applied by parents to their children in Padang N 2 High School was mostly authoritative parenting (2) the creativity of students in Padang N 2 High School as a whole was quite creative (3) there was a significant relationship between parenting parents with students' creativity in Padang N 2 High School. Based on the research findings, it is recommended that school counselors / counselors be able to provide guidance and counseling services, namely information services and individual counseling services in order to help students who have problems regarding creativity.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the number of adolescents who tend to deviate sexual behavior such as holding hands, cuddling kissing to having sex with the opposite sex. Deviant sexual behavior is a negative behavior that is thought to be one of the contributing factors is a low Self-Image. This study aims to examine Self-Image relationships with the tendency of juvenile deviant sexual behavior.This research is a descriptive correlational research with quantitative methods. Sample determined with stratifate random sampling obtained as many 275 students. Data collections instruments are a scale questionnaire. Data is processed using the Pearson product moment formula with the Statical Product abd Service Solution (SPSS) program version 20.0. The results of this study revealed that no relation between Self-Image and deviant sexual behavior, if a high Self-Imagedoes not mean the tendency of sexual behavior to deviate low and vice versa if a low Self-Image does not meanhight sexual behavior. From this study it was revealed that most Self-Images were in the high category as much 41,45%, and deviant sexual behavior in the very low category that is as much 93,82%. Based on the findings of this study, it is expected that the counselor or counselor can provide assistance and services in the form of guidance and counseling services.

Abstract

Bullying behavior is behavior that hurts someone repeatedly. Bullying behavior has several aspects, namely physical, verbal, relational, and sexual aspects. This research uses quantitative descriptive methods. The study population was 296 in SMP 35 Padang and a sample of 170 students were selected using the Stratified Random Sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire in the form of a Semantic Differential scale.The research findings reveal that students' perceptions of bullying behavior in general students assume bullying behavior is strictly not allowed. Specifically, students' perceptions about bullying behavior from physical, verbal, relational, and sexual aspects are still students who are hesitant about bullying or not, even there are still students who consider bullying behavior to be allowed

Abstract

Underachiever is a student who achieves below the level of ability or students who are expected to achieve an achievement with the level of ability possessed, but the reality is not as expected. Students who have a high level of ability can actually achieve an achievement. However, the reality in the field was found by students who had high intelligence but had low achievement in school. The purpose of this study is to describe the personality types of underachiver students in terms of personality types coasting underachiever ,  anxious underachiever , defiant underachiever,  wheeler-dealer underachiever, identity search underachiever, sad or depressed underachiever and their implications for guidance and counseling. This type of research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The research was conducted in SMA N 3 Bukittinggi by involving 50 students underachiever class X and XI as a research subject. Data obtained by giving an instrument in the form of questionnaires to underachiever students . Then the data obtained is analyzed using percentage techniques.The findings of the study are the type of personality coasting underachiever are very hight category, type of personality anxious underachiever in the quite high category, personality types defiant underachiever in the very low category, the type personality wheeler-dealer underachiever in the low category, the type of personality identity search underachiever in the category of very low, the type of personality sad or depressed underachiever that are in the low category.

Abstract

The success of interpersonal communication depends a lot on the quality of one's concepts, both positive and negative. People who lack confidence will tend to avoid communication. This is because a person's confidence can actualize all of his potentials. Therefore the problem to be examined in this study is "Is there a relationship between self-confidence and interpersonal communication?". This research is included in the type of quantitative research. The method used in this quantitative research is correlational. This research was conducted in the odd semester (IX) 2019 at SMAN 3 Bukittinggi. The population of all students of class X and class XI of SMAN 3 Bukittinggi is 588 students. To determine a large number of populations used to be sampled, this study uses Proportional Stratified random sampling. The number of sample members is determined through the Slovin formula. So, the sample was 233 students. By analyzing the correlation test using a computer program Statistics Product Service Solution (SPSS) for Windows Release 20.0 or using the Pearson Correlation formula. The results showed that there was a relationship between self-confidence and interpersonal communication, with a coefficient of 0.562 with a significant value of 0,000 with a total of 233 student respondents, meaning that there was a significant positive relationship between confidence and interpersonal communication.
