Abstract

This article reviews the concept of tahfidz learning to form better characters. This study is motivated by the effective and good tahfidz learning but still the lack of akhalaqul karimah in the scope of education. The hadith also explains that adab is more important than knowledge. The approach of this research is to use qualitative research. The data source of this research was conducted at the Al-Fattah Sidoarjo Islamic Boarding School. data collection techniques are carried out by observation and interviews. The data collected was then analyzed qualitatively. The results showed that there is a very effective method, namely the muraja'ah method so that the students who memorize the Qur'an have a strong memory because they often repeat the recitations they have memorized, but there are still many memorizers of the Qur'an who lack manners for others and from their personal side, therefore the memorizers of the Qur'an must also have good character, which has been exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad Saw.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relevance of the concept of merdeka belajar in progressive Islamic education from the Muhammadiyah perspective. This is motivated by the condition of teachers who are too preoccupied with administration so they lack focus on developing student potential. Added to this, the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) research conducted in 2019 said that student assessment in Indonesia was in 6th place from the bottom. Indonesia occupies the 74th position out of 79 countries. So, to overcome these problems the government held merdeka belajar which aims to optimize students' potential, and see the suitability of free learning education with the concept of progressive Islamic education according to Muhammadiyah. Researchers used library research methods (library research). Data collection techniques by collecting sources, books, journals, and previous research. The results of the study show that there is relevance to the concept of merdeka belajar with KH's statement. Ahmad Dahlan that with the development of the times, education must be able to keep up, so this is where good education is called if it is able to adapt to the demands of the times and modernity. Because in fact, progressive Islamic education is education that implements a modern education system and is able to prevent stagnation of thought.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the concept of qudratullah (the ability that Allah determines) or it can be said as destiny in relation to Islamic education based on explanations by commentators/ mufassirin and theologians in the study of kalam science, so as to straighten understanding of the concept of God's destiny. in the world of Islamic Education. This research is library research (library research) where the sources that are used as references in this research are taken from the library, such as books, books, articles, and others. This study also uses the maudhu'i interpretation method. The results of this study indicate that the verses that use the word Qadar describe the creation of the universe and everything in it and all its contents and all its provisions that apply to it is God's qadar through a just law, God also enforces it in the hereafter. All Muslims and schools of Islamic theology agree that Allah is God Almighty and Most Just in determining destiny and wills. However, when discussing the issues of free will (free will) and predestination (destiny, fatalism) they become the subject of very fierce debate among theologians. In Islamic education, the success of the educational process is not only determined by the human effort itself but is also determined by the X factor, namely biqudratillah.
