Abstract

This article aims to describe the planning and implementation of learning activities in improving the reading quality of the yellow book at the Al-Fattah 3 Siman Sekaran Lamongan Islamic boarding school and to analyze the pedagogic competence of teachers in the yellow book learning activities at the Al-Fattah 3 Siman Sekaran Lamongan Islamic boarding school. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach using a type of research, namely a case study. Data collection techniques were carried out using unstructured interviews, participant observation, and documentation. This article produces: (1) planning of learning activities in improving the quality of reading the yellow book at the Al-Fattah 3 Siman Sekaran Lamongan Islamic boarding school is carried out by preparing books according to the specified curriculum and the process of learning activities is guided by the book being taught with the main target being able to memorize and understand the meaning in it so that they are able to practice it in their lives. (2) Teacher pedagogic competence in learning the yellow book at Pondok Pesantren Al-Fattah 3 Siman Sekaran Lamongan is included in the good category because almost all of it is implemented.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how schools apply and cultivate religious character to students. This research uses qualitative methods with case studies. Conduct research using observation procedures, interviews, and documentation studies. The subjects of the study were principals, class teachers, and grade 4 students. To get data on the implementation and development of religious character, researchers interviewed the subject. The conclusion of this study is to find out how schools apply, foster and apply religious character in schools.

Abstract

Ibn Khaldun is a thinker in Islamic education who is concerned with the circumstances of students' growth and development from the psychological, pedagogical, social, and spiritual perspectives. The purpose of this article is to look at Ibn Khaldun's social background, his main points of view on education, an analysis of those views, and projections of those views into the future. This study describes Ibn Khaldun's ideas on Islamic education in a descriptive manner using the library research method. Ibn Khaldun's ideas, which view learning potential as a natural thing that can be developed by choosing the right method of learning, are included in the findings found in this article. In this situation, educators can use the malakah and at-tadrij methods in accordance with the level of the students' cognitive development and their level of openness to learning. The ideas put forth by Ibn Khaldun can be developed as potential directions for Islamic education in the future, and his thoughts are pertinent to the current understanding of modern education. Ibn Khaldun's educational idea is regarded as a strong foundation for organizing Islamic education because it offers a strong foundation on the psychological, pedagogical, social, and spiritual aspects of Islam.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe how the values of the pesantren are instilled in the Darul Falah Al-Washilah Islamic Boarding School. This study uses a qualitative method. The research results show that; 1) The values of Islamic boarding school education include sincere values, honest values, hard work values, responsibility values and tolerance values which are used as the basis for the behavior of all activities in Islamic boarding schools; 2) Integrating the values of Islamic boarding schools in subjects in schools and Islamic boarding schools; 3) Internalization of the values of Islamic boarding school education which are instilled in all pesantren residents and school members. The strategy used is through habituation and integrated training through extra-curricular activities and the creation of a culture of character in Islamic boarding schools. Moderate value planting is implemented in several methods, namely; first, diniyyah education, namely the recitation of the yellow books taught by several ustadz. Second, joint takror, namely repeating the subject matter that has been taught by the kiai or ustadz by asking one of the students to read word for word, then the other listens and corrects if there are errors in reading.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the many intolerant attitudes of students, the strengthening of the value of religious moderation through learning Islamic religious education and character (PAI-BP) is able to encourage students to be tolerant in education. The purpose of this study was to determine the strengthening of the value of religious moderation through learning Islamic religious education and character (PAI-BP). This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive Approach. The data collection technique is triangulation. Research based on the philosophy of postpositivism is used to research natural object conditions. The results and conclusions of this study strengthen the value of religious moderation, namely Tawasut, Tawazun, Ta’adul, Tasamuh, Musawah, and Shura. The four stages of pai-bp learning are inserting (insertion) moderation content in each learning material, optimizing learning approaches that can give birth to critical thinking, respecting differences, respecting other people’s opinions, being tolerant, democratic, daring to convey ideas, being sportive and responsible, organizing certain training and debriefing education programs with special themes about religious moderation, and reaching evaluation aspects.

Abstract

The learning process does not always run smoothly. Under certain conditions, various obstacles may be encountered so that students often do not attend classes, do not complete class assignments, and are late for re-registration. This research examines learning difficulties and students' moral responsibilities. The study used a qualitative method with a case study approach to 55 students of Civics Study Program. The research period lasts for six months, namely throughout the even semester of the 2021-2022 academic year. From the research results, the following conclusions are obtained: 1) student learning difficulties are caused by factors of low student basic skills, interest, motivation, economic conditions, environment, facilities and infrastructure. 2) Students have not shown moral responsibility to complete academic assignments. If this is not addressed immediately, then not only will learning not achieve the expected results, but furthermore, responsible Indonesian citizens will not be created.

Abstract

Education is an important sector in the development of a nation, with quality education, the development of human resources will also be better. The purpose of this research is to describe the pattern of strengthening character education at SDN 2 Tukmudal. To achieve the research objectives, the research methodology uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of the study describe that strengthening character education at SDN 2 Tukmudal Sumber Cirebon with the let's reduce waste program is a form of instilling the value of caring for the environment. Not only that, in its implementation there is also a strengthening of the values of nationalism, religion, discipline and responsibility which are applied in habituation, learning and culturalization activities in SDN 2 Tukmudal. It is hoped that strengthening character education will produce graduates who have a strong character foundation as potential successors to the Indonesian nation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of good school governance in building a school culture with character at MAN 2 Pontianak. The research method used is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. Data was collected by using the observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The subject of this research is based on purposive sampling. The results of this study have shown that the principles of good school governance play an important role in building a school culture with character by applying the principles of good governance, viz participation, transparency and accountability in every school activity. This is reflected in the vision, mission, goals, school program and efforts to realize it. The conclusion of this study is the principle of good governance that is oriented to the needs of schools and communities would create an involvement, interaction, trust, and commitment to jointly realize akhlakul karimah as a educational goals which is carried out through planting, habituating, exemplary and leadership to integrate character values continously in every school activity. So that the culture of character becomes the basis of a person's behavior that triggers a balance between IQ, SQ, and EQ of the school elements.

Abstract

The title of this research is The Role of Islamic Religious Education Teachers in Forming Student Solidarity Based on Harmony and Social Harmony (SD Negeri 20 Batang-Tarang). The purpose of this research is to create a peaceful and peaceful teaching and learning atmosphere, teachers are obliged to instill a sense of solidarity in their students. The formation of a sense of solidarity with these students seeks to form good character and harmony between students to create a harmonious learning atmosphere and avoid various kinds of conflict. The research method that researchers use is descriptive qualitative by using data collection techniques using interviews, documentation, and observation. The results of this study explain that the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers as coaches, mentors, and motivators of solidarity among students at SDN 20 Batang-Tarang is very well documented. When making observations at school, researchers received information that the Islamic Religious Education teacher had tried his best to be able to foster and guide his students by carrying out activities that lead to solidarity between students such as group discussions. In addition, the PAI teacher also always evaluates the work of students and praises and gives awards to their students, if the student has achievements, and provides sanctions that educate if there are students who are not orderly, irresponsible, and disobey the rules when carrying out learning.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan konsep tasamuh melalui pendidikan multikultural, solusi dalam menghadapi berbagai macam sekte yang berkembang adalah dengan ditanamkannya sikap tasamuh dalam diri setiap manusia terlebih sebagai pendidik harus memberikan stimulus berupa pendidikan multikultural yang diimplementasikan pada setiap lembaga pendidikan dan akan bermuara pada kehidupan sehari-hari. Implementasi pendidikan multikultural mengarahkan individu untuk membuka kesempatan beragam latar belakang budaya. Selain itu, diadakannya pendidikan multikultural diharapkan mampu memberikan ruang gerak bebas dalam mengeksplor pemahaman dan tertanamnya nilai-nilai inti dari pendidikan multikultural seperti lahirnya konsep tasamuh, humanis, demokrasi dna pluralis. Artikel ini ditulis dengan metode deksriptif kualitatif, langkah yang dilakukan adalah dengan mengeksplorasi data-data tentang konsep sikap tasamuh dan prinsip dalam pendidikan multicultural yang relevan dengan maksud penulis, dimana individu yang menerima stimulus berupa pendidikan multikultural akan memiliki peningkatan dalam mengimplementasikan sikap tasamuh. Sumber data primer dalam artikel ini adalah beberapa buku, dan jurnal yang relevan dengan tema. Hasil pembahasan pada artikel ini adalah apabila Pendidikan multikultural dapat dipelajari dan dihayati oleh generasi bangsa maka akan terlahir sikap tasamuh yang lurus dan istiqomah yang dapat dilihat dari perilaku sehari-hari.
