Abstract

This study investigates the impact of knowledge sharing on individual innovation capability within coffee Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Kab. Garut. Utilizing a quantitative research design, the study employs descriptive and associative approaches to analyze data collected via surveys and interviews. The findings, based on SPSS analysis of responses from coffee SME employees, confirm that knowledge sharing significantly enhances individual innovation capability. Specifically, the dimensions of knowledge collecting and donating were examined, with knowledge donating showing a more substantial positive influence. This research corroborates existing literature suggesting that effective knowledge management practices not only foster individual innovation but also enhance overall organizational performance. Recommendations include strengthening knowledge-sharing practices, enhancing technology training, encouraging proactive knowledge donation, and implementing comprehensive knowledge management systems. The study's outcomes suggest that fostering an environment rich in shared knowledge and skills is pivotal for sustaining innovation and competitiveness within SMEs.

Abstract

The Nusantara batik industry has become an important part of Indonesia's cultural heritage and has significant potential to make a significant economic contribution. In an effort to enhance the competitiveness of Nusantara batik products, the concept of community partnership innovation has emerged as a promising approach. One concrete implementation of this approach is through the SANUTIK (Sapatu Nusantara Batik) program. This article will explain how community partnership innovation through SANUTIK can strengthen the Nusantara batik industry from various aspects. The research method used is descriptive and qualitative. Data analysis is conducted through SWOT analysis. The research results show that the SWOT Matrix Analysis of the internal conditions of Nusantara batik through SANUTIK has stronger strengths compared to weaknesses. The condition of Nusantara batik through SANUTIK has greater opportunities compared to threats. Nusantara batik through SANUTIK is in the aggressive/growth quadrant, which means it is in a prime and stable condition, making it highly possible to continue expanding, enhancing growth, and achieving maximum progress.

Abstract

Operational efficiency is the ability of an organization to provide products or services cost-effectively and on time by maintaining quality and customer satisfaction while reducing inputs, such as time, costs and resources. This is because technological developments continue to advance, creating various innovations in maintaining service quality. This research aims to determine the influence of innovation in tutoring business management and developments in educational technology on operational efficiency at BINASI. The approach used is a quantitative approach with a sample size of 50 respondents. The analysis method uses analysis by testing using the SPSS tool. The results of hypothesis testing show that there is an influence of innovation in tutoring business management and the development of educational technology on operational efficiency at BINASI.

Abstract

MSMEs play an important role in the Indonesian economy, especially in the growing handicraft sector. However, many MSMEs face challenges in improving their competitive advantage and business performance. This study aims to analyze the influence of supply chain management practices and information and communication technology on competitive advantage and firm performance. This study uses a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 109 MSMEs in the handicraft sector in Bantul and Sleman Regency. Data analysis was conducted using SEM-AMOS to see the relationship between variables. The results showed that supply chain management practices and the utilization of information and communication technology have a positive effect on competitive advantage and firm performance. In addition, the application of information and communication technology is proven to be able to improve supply chain efficiency, which has an impact on increasing competitive advantage and firm performance. Competitive advantage also acts as a mediating factor that strengthens the relationship between supply chain, ICT, and firm performance. These findings confirm that the integration of supply chain strategies with the utilization of digital technology can help MSMEs survive and thrive amid market competition.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to identify and analyze the determinants, particularly the most dominant, in the preservation of bamboo weaving in Mekarsari Village, Selaawi Subdistrict. The research employs an exploratory factor analysis method. Data were collected through questionnaires administered to 112 bamboo weaving artisans in Mekarsari Village, Selaawi Subdistrict. Upon gathering the responses, validity, reliability, and exploratory factor analysis were conducted. The study’s findings revealed seven key determinants in the preservation of bamboo weaving in Mekarsari Village, Selaawi Subdistrict: Factor 1 (Cultural and Family Factors), Factor 2 (Economic Sustainability of Bamboo Weaving), Factor 3 (Market and Raw Material Stability), Factor 4 (Leisure Utilization and Cultural Relevance), Factor 5 (Innovation and Government Support), Factor 6 (Traditional Skills and Product Durability), and Factor 7 (Product Uniqueness). The most dominant determinant in the preservation of bamboo weaving in Mekarsari Village, Selaawi Subdistrict, is Factor 1 (Cultural and Family Factors).

Abstract

This review is intended to research the reaction of lodging rates and dining rates to local revenue in Garut Regency throughout 2015-2022. The information in this research was obtained from the Garut Regency Regional Revenue Service regarding records of the application of lodging rates and dining rates. The system used in this study is the quantitative one. An interrogation and document verification system was put in place to gather data for this study. Additionally, R-Squared, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing with the use of the F and t tests are the procedures utilized in this study. Data computations in this study were performed using the SPSS version 26 for Windows application. The results of this study show that the combined effect of restaurant and hotel taxes on local income is substantial. But upon closer inspection, it turns out that restaurant taxes significantly affect local revenue whereas hotel taxes do not.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of TikTok content trends regarding travel on the travel interest of Garut University students. This study uses a quantitative approach method by examining the correlation of spearman rank with SPSS 26 data processing tools. The spearman rank correlation test is used to measure the relationship between two ordinal or interval variables. The test results showed a value of 82.5%, which means that there is a very strong relationship with a range between 80% - 100% between TikTok content trends regarding travel and travel interest of University of Garut students. With a sig value. 0.000 which is smaller than the alpha value of 0.05 indicates a positive relationship between TikTok content and the interest in traveling for University of Garut students.

Abstract

Dynamic business developments, especially in the MSME sector, encourage business actors to continue to create competitive advantages through innovation. This study aims to determine the effect of radical and incremental innovation on the competitiveness of food and beverage MSMEs in Cirebon City. The study used a quantitative descriptive method with data collection through online questionnaires to MSME actors, and analyzed using SEM through Smart PLS. The results of the study showed that both types of innovation have an effect on competitiveness, where radical innovation includes fundamental changes, while incremental innovation focuses on gradual improvements. Implementation of the right innovation strategy can strengthen the competitiveness of MSMEs in the midst of dynamic market competition. Abstract

The purpose is to analyze the effect of hard skills on innovation individual capabilities at coffee small and medium enterprises. Data collection was carried out by census sampling of 45 respondents at 17 coffee SMEs. The results of the questionnaire were returned and valid. Simple regression linear analysis used for data processing. The research results show that individual innovation capability among coffee SMEs in is influenced by hard skills. The ability to use software and the internet, utilize tools and equipment, as well as conceptual thinking, can trigger the implementation of innovations and problem-solving in coffee processing for coffee SMEs. Thus, the actor of coffee SMEs can enhance their hard skills, as these skills play a crucial role in supporting their success, innovation, and sustainable growth in this competitive and rapidly evolving industry.

Abstract

Economic growth is one of the indicators used to calculate the success of a country's economy. Economic growth is formed from various economic sectors, which are a reflection of the level of economic growth that is occurring. This study was conducted to determine and analyze the influence of the tourism sector, consisting of variables such as the number of foreign tourist visits, the number of hotels, and the number of flights, on the Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) in Bali Province. The approach used in this study is a quantitative descriptive approach. The data in this study uses secondary data obtained from various official sources such as BPS Indonesia, BPS Bali Province, and the Bali Tourism Office from 2017-2023. This study uses a time series data regression analysis method with the Error Correction Model (ECM). The results show that in the short term, the number of foreign tourist visits has a significant positive effect on GRDP, while the number of hotels and flights has no effect and has a negative effect on GRDP. In the long term, the three independent variables have no effect and have a negative effect on GRDP. Keywords: tourism sector, GDP, economic growth, time series data
