Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes through the application of cooperative learning model of (think pair share) of class VII SMP Negeri 6 Kota Bengkulu. This research was an action research with 4 phases. There were planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The samples of this research are the students in first grade B junior high school number 6 Bengkulu city. The total sample of this research was 22 students. The instrument of this research used of the students learning’s score. The students learning’s score can be improved by several ways; a) Train students to make material conclusions or add information using their own language. b) Provide guidance to students in understanding the problems that exist at the stage of think and pair. c) Provide reading assignments to students about the material learned at the next meeting so that the student have good initial knowledge in learning. Increased student learning outcomes can be seen from the increase in the average student score from cycle I to cycle III 67.86; 74.45; 83.80 with the percentage of classical learning completeness from cycle I to cycle III 45,45%; 50.00%; 81.82%.Key words: Think Pair Share, the students’ learning score.

Abstract

The research aims to find out how to application’s Co-operative Learning Team Games Turnamen assisted in order to improve activity and study’s result on the material of  This study aims to find out how to apply cooperative learning model TGT type so that there is increasing activity and student response on the matter of integers and fractions. The type of research conducted is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with collection techniques through student activity observation sheet, test of mathematics learning result and student response. Student activity is enhanced by appropriate group sharing, providing learning guidance to low-ability students, giving admonitions and actions to students who do not follow the learning activities well. Increased student activity can be seen from the average score from cycle I to cycle III that is: 18,63; 21,38; 26,13. Student response is enhanced by guiding students to be more interested and enthusiastic in learning, as well as learning motivation in the form of game that is game turnament. Increased student response to the application of TGT learning model seen from the average score of student response questionnaire from cycle I to Cycle III that is: 35,3; 43.25; 65 Keywords: Activity,Response,Team Game Turnament

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara meningkatkan hasil belajar dan melihat respon siswa dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dengan soal open ended. Penelitian ini merupakan tindakan penelitian terhadap suatu  Kelas dengan tehnik pengumpulan data melalui, tes hasil belajar dan serta angket respon siswa. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah Kelas VIII.8 SMP N 18 Kota Bengkulu tahun ajaran 2016/2017 berjumlah 34 siswa.. Peningkatan hasil belajar dilihat dari nilai rata-rata peserta didik pada siklus I sampai siklus III yaitu 77,5; 82,2; 84,0 dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar yaitu 67,6%; 91,2%; 82,4%. Respon peserta didik ditingkatkan dengan membimbing mengerjakan soal open ended agar lebih tertarik dan antusias dalam belajar, serta memotivasi untuk membiasakan diri belajar dirumah. Peningkatan respon dilihat dari skor rata-rata respon peserta didik pada siklus I sampai siklus III yaitu 22,62 (rendah); 33,94 (cukup tinggi); 41,71 (sangat tinggi).

Abstract

This research is classroom action research (PTK) with data collection technique through activity observation sheet and test result of student learning. The subjects of this study are the students of class VII A SMP Negeri 11 Kota Bengkulu Odd Semester of the School Year 2017 which amounted to 32 students. The results showed that the implementation of learning strategy through cooperative model of learning type Think Pair Share (TPS) can increase student learning activity and learning outcomes. The increase of student learning activity can be seen from the value of observation of student learning activity of mathematics cycle I that is 19,67 (criteria enough), cycle II is 23,17 (good criterion), cycle III 26,17 (good criterion). Improvement of students' mathematics learning outcomes can be seen from the average score of student learning outcomes cycle I is 67.40; cycle II is 75,47; and cycle III has increase that is 82,34 and completeness of classical learning cycle I, cycle II, cycle III in sequence is 44%, 50%, and 81,25%. Keywords: Activities, Learning Outcomes, cooperative learning type Think Pair Share (TPS).

Abstract

The aim of this study was to find out how to improve activities and students’ learning outcomes by applying PBI (Problem Based Instruction) Learning Model. This study was a classroom action research that the technique of data collection was by using activity observation sheets and test of students’ learning outcomes. The research subject was class VII.7 SMPN 21 of Bengkulu City academic year of 2017/2018 with 28 students in total consisted of 14 male and 14 female students. The data collected descriptively used the mean score of the students’ activities, the average of the students’ score and the students’ mastery learning. The process done by the researcher was that the teacher gave example of story problem related to daily life. The teacher formed study groups consisted of 4-5 students. The group formation was varies based on the ability (pre-test) and gender. The teacher helped the groups facing difficulties and observed the discussion activity in solving the problems. The teacher asked one of the groups to present the result in front of class. Based on the research result, it could be concluded that the implementation of PBI (Problem Based Instruction) could improve the activities students’ learning outcomes.Key Words: Activities, PBI (Problem Based Instruction)

Abstract

The aim of this research was to improve Students’ learning score through application of learning model of Think Talk Write in seven grade of junior high school number eleven in Bengkulu city. This research was a classroom action research. The subject of this research was students of VIIB Class in junior high school number eleven in Bengkulu city which number 28 Students. The instrument of this research was students’ learning scores. Learning score could be improved by making students’ working paper with simple questions and steps so that the student would be able to understand the material easier and motivating students to study harder in doing Think Talk Write to achieve the completeness score. Enhancement students score could be seen on increasing of the students’ average scores from cycle I until cycle III, they were 67,9; 73,9; 86,6 with percentages of completeness of learning score from cycle I until cycle III were 35,71%; 60,71%; 89,29%.Key words: Think Talk Write; students’ learning scores

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah hasil belajar matematika peserta didik yang menggunakan pembelajaran pendekatan saintifik berbantuan media audio-visual lebih dari hasil belajar matematika yang menggunakan pembelajaran ekspositori di kelas VII MTs Negeri 2 Bengkulu Tengah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan populasi yaitu peserta didik kelas VII MTs Negeri 2 Bengkulu Tengah. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sehingga diperoleh kelas VII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan peserta didik yang berjumlah 16 orang yang mendapat perlakuan pembelajaran pendekatan saintifik berbantuan media audio-visual dan VII C sebagai kelas kontrol dengan peserta didik yang berjumlah 15 orang yang mendapat perlakuan pembelajaran ekspositori.Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan uji-t diperoleh nilai  yaitu 2,53 dengan taraf nyata (?) = 5% dan  dk = 29 menghasilkan  yaitu 1,699, jadi , maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar matematika peserta didik yang menggunakan pembelajaran pendekatan saintifik berbantuan media audio-visual lebih dari hasil belajar matematika yang menggunakan pembelajaran ekspositori di kelas VII MTs Negeri 2 Bengkulu Tengah.Kata Kunci :  Hasil Belajar, Pendekatan Saintifik, Media Audio-Visual, Pembelajaran Ekspositori

Abstract

This study aims to find out the mistake of students in solving math problems on the material integer arithmetic operations. This research is a descriptive research. The subjects were 25 students of class V SDN 88 Bengkulu City Odd Semester Academic Year 2017/2018. Data collection techniques used in this research that tests. Analysis of the data in this study was done descriptively. The results showed the students make the mistake of using the basic competence to determine the prime factors the Commission and the FPB, and resolve issues related to arithmetic operations, the Commission and the FPB, based on indicators: (1)Using the prime factors and prime factorization to solve everyday problems associated with the FPB in even numbers as much as 6 students, (2) using the prime factors and prime factorization to solve everyday problems associated with the FPB in an even number and odd as many as 15 students (3) Using the prime factors and prime factorization to solve everyday problems associated with the Commission on an even number as many as 14 students, (4) Using the prime factors and prime factorization to solve everyday problems associated with the Commission on an even number and odd as many as 18 students, (5a) Solve problems related to the FPB as many as 25 students, (5b) Solve problems related to the FPB as many as 24 students, (6a) Solve problems related to the Commission by 24 students,and (6b) Solve the problems associated with the Commission as many as 23 students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar peserta didik menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write (TTW) dengan model pembejaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan populasi seluruh peserta didik kelas VII SMPN 02 Kota Bengkulu Semester Ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik cluster sampling sehingga diperoleh kelas VII G sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan peserta didik yang berjumlah 32 peserta didik yang mendapat perlakuan model pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) dan kelas VII F sebagai kelas kontrol dengan peserta didik yang berjumlah 33 peserta didik yang mendapat perlakuan model pembelajaran Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang menggunakan Uji-U (Mann Whitney Test) diperoleh nilai  yaitu  dengan taraf nyata (?) = 5% dan , sehingga . Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar peserta didik yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write (TTW) dan hasil belajar peserta didik yang menggunakan model pembelajaran koooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) di kelas VII SMP Negeri 02 Kota Bengkulu.Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, TTW, STAD

Abstract

This study aims to determine how to implement cooperative learning think pair share (TPS) to be able to enhance the activity and results of students' mathematics learning class VII.2 SMPN 21 Bengkulu City. This type of research is the Classroom Action Research (PTK). Subjects in this study were students of class VII.2 SMPN 21 Bengkulu City totaling 30 students. The instrument used in this study is the observation sheet student activity and achievement test. The results showed that the implementation of cooperative learning type of think pair share (TPS) can increase the activity and student learning outcomes.Increased activity of students can be seen from the average score on the student activity observation sheet first cycle to the third cycle in a row: 15,5 (less criteria inactive); 19,95 (active enough criteria); 24,5 (active criteria).Improving student learning outcomes can be seen from the increase in the average value of students and the percentage of completeness classical study of the first cycle to cycle III respectively: 49.26; 63.46; 76 and 3.3%; 46.6% ; 83.3%.
