Abstract

Lahan pasang surut salah satu lahan suboptimal yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai arealpengembangan pertanian, karena lahan ini tersedia cukup luas di Indonesia. Keracunan besi pada tanamanpadi beras merah dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan tumbuh dan kepekaan varietas tanaman padi beras merah.Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakter morfologi dan fisiologi pemupukan K terhadap serapan Fevarietas padi beras merah. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada lahan pasang surut tipe B, di Desa Telang SariBanyuasin, Sumatera Selatan pada bulan Desember 2014 hingga bulan Mei 2015. Penelitianmenggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari dua faktor, yaitu varietas terpilih 4 varietasdan takaran pupuk K ( 0, 50, 100 dan 150 Kg KCl/ ha) dan diulang 3 kali. Tanaman padi ditanam dengansistem tabela pada plot yang berukuran 3 x 2 m, dengan jarak antar plot 1 m. Data dianalisis dengan uji F,jika hasil uji berpengaruh nyata maka dilanjutkan dengan uji BNJ. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwaserapan Fe yang tinggi pada tanaman padi beras merah menyebabkan terjadinya perubahan baik karaktermorfologi maupun fisiologi tanaman, dimana respon setiap varietas berbeda-beda tergantung sifat toleransiatau kepekaanya terhadap serapan Fe. Pemupukan K (100 kg/ha dan 150 kg/ha) mempengaruhi serapanFe pada jaringan tanaman, juga mempengaruhi pertumbuhan dan hasil Padi Beras Merah

Abstract

Plant cauliflower (Brassica oleracea. L) is a plant which benefit as vegetables. Growth a nd yield of cauliflower can be enhanced by use of fertilizer Thichokompos origin cow rumen. The research aimed to explore the origin of the waste fertilizer Thichokompos origin cow rumen that can increase growth and yield of cauliflower. This research was conducted at trial garden Agriculture Faculty Baturaja University on April to July 2015. This research using Complete Randomised Design Non Factorial with 7 (seven) treatmen that 3 (tree) replication, in order to get 21 units of treatment. Based on the result of the research, the treatmen of sewage fertilizer Thichokompos origin cow rumen significantly affect the total weight matter, root fresh weight, shoot dry weight, root dry weight, root number, diameter and wet weight cauliflower. While at the variable height plant, the total number and the time which appnorgear influential (30 tons/ha) + ½ dose of anorganic fertilizer was recommended as the best treatment which improve the growth of 63,75 % ad 116,15 % if compared to the control.

Abstract

Pengaruh lama penyinaran dan panjang hari terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman krisan (Chrysanthemum sp.). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendapatkan lama penyinaran tambahan dalam jam dan hari yang paling baik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman krisan (Chrysanthemum sp.) Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di Dusun Talang Tinggi, Kecamatan Dempo Utara, Kota Pagaralam, yang dimulai pada bulan Mei sam Juli 2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Petak Terbagi (split plot design) Sebagai petak Utama adalah penambahan penyinaran dalam jam yang terdiri dari : Penambahan penyinaran 2 jam, penambahan penyinaran 3 jam,dan penambahan penyinaran 4 jam. Anak petak adalah tambahan penyinaran dalam hari yang terdiri dari : Penambahan penyinaran 20 hari, penambahan penyinaran 30 hari, penambahan penyinaran 40 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penambahan waktu penyinaran 4 jam dan penambahan waktu penyinaran 30 hari menghasilkan pertumbuhan tanaman krisan terbaik terhadap, diameter bunga yaitu 10,33 (cm), diameter batang yaitu 4,25 (cm), jumlah bunga 13,33 (tangkai), panjang akar yaitu 12,30 (cm) dan kesegaran bunga yaitu 12,03 (hari).

Abstract

Seeds are healthy and fast according to the needs in the field is the composition of the media in the nursery and water availability. The composition of planting media soil, sand and organic matter. In addition to the growing medium, water also affects the growth of rubber plants. Treatment watering intervals, associated with the level of water availability. Plant growth improves with increasing amounts of water. In contrast, plant growth is hampered by lack of water is often associated with a reduction in the rate of photosynthesis. This study aims to determine the effect of watering intervals at different growing media on the growth of rubber seedlings. This study uses factorial completely randomized design, with five replications. -1 Factor is the growing media with a volume ratio (%), namely: M1 = Land (100%), M2 = Soil + sand (20% + 80%), M3 = Soil + sand + organic matter (10% + 80% + 10%), + M4 = Soil organic matter (20% + 80%). Factor-2 is an interval watering, namely: P1 = 4 days, P2 = 8 days, P3 = 12 days. Interval watering four days on the composition of soil organic matter 20% + 80% showed the highest yield at the variable plant height, number of leaf stems, root length, shoot dry weight, root dry weight and plant dry weight of rubber.

Abstract

The experiment was conducted in Talang Inuman Teratai Urban Village, Muara Bulian Sub-District, Batang Hari Jambi Regency, with a height of 12 meters above sea level. The study aims to obtain Biolan 2 with the best dose that gives results in long bean plants. The experimental design used was Randomized Block Design (RAK) with six treatments consisting of N0: 0 liter /ha without fertilizer application Biolan 2, N1: 2 liters / ha of Biolan 2 fertilizer, N2: 4 liters / ha of Biolan 2 fertilizer, N3: 6 Liters / ha of Biolan 2 fertilizer, N4: 8 liters / ha of Biolan 2 fertilizer and N5: 10 liters / ha of Biolan 2 fertilizer. Each treatment was repeated four times with so many plot experiments 24 plots. For observations randomly taken 3 plants plot as sample. The observed components include pod length, number of pods, weight of pod and yield / ha. From the result of the research, Biolan 2 with dose 6 liters / ha has significant effect on the number of pods, weight of pod and yield per hectare but no effect on the administration of Biolan 2 with a dose of 8 liters / ha which gives the highest pod length.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan utuk mengetahui komposisi dan struktur gulma padi di lahan pasang surut, desa Manggaraya Kecamatan Tanjung Lago Kabupaten Banyuasin Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Waktu Penelitian dari bulan Maret sampai bulan Mei tahun 2017. Sedangkan metode penelitian menggunakan metode survei dan pengumpulan data secara langsung dengan menggunakan analisis vegetasi dengan metode kuadrat atau metode dengan (plot) petak, pengambilan sampel dilapangan yaitu dengan sengaja (purposive sampling) terhadap gulma di lahan padi pasang surut. Parameter yang diamati yaitu Kerapatan Mutlak,. Kerapatan Relatif, Prequensi Mutlak, Frequensi Relatif dan Indeks Nilai Penting (INP). Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan Komposisi gulma padi di lahan pasang surut terdiri dari 4 famili, 5 genus, dan 7 spesies dengan jumlah keseluruhan yaitu 656 individu gulma di lahan pasang surut. Struktur gulma padi di lahan pasang surut dengan nilai INP tertinggi adalah jenis gulma Echinochloa cruss-galli, dengan nilai INP sebesar 41,16 %.

Abstract

Sampah merupakan persoalan yang ada di kota-kota besar, karena semakin tinggi kepadatan penduduk semakin tinggi pula sampah atau limbah yang dihasilkan. Salah satu upaya untuk membantu mengatasi permasalahan sampah adalah dengan melakukan upaya sampah daur ulang dengan proses pengomposan, selain mengurangi sampah juga mengurangi volume sampah tapi bermanfaat bagi tanaman dan lingkungan fisik tanah. Pengomposan bisa dilakukan secara konvensional atau hasil fermentasi yang menggunakan bioaktivator yang hasilnya adalah kompos, yang merupakan pupuk organik. Tujuan utama aplikasi pupuk kompos yaitu menyuplai nutrient bagi tanaman dan memperbaiki sifat fisik tanah baik secara fisika kimia dan biologi. . Penggunaan kompos sebagai sumber nutrisi tanaman, merupakan salah satu program bebas residu kimia untuk meningkatkan produktivitas tanaman dan tanah.

Abstract

This research aims to know and get the kind of biological fertilizer is best against the growth and production of some plant varieties of union (Allium ascalonicum L.) on wetland rainwater. This research has been carried out in the land of farmers in the village of tugu sub-district Lempuing Jaya regency of Ogan Komering Ilir, South Sumatera Province from May until July 2017. This study used Randomize Design Group (RAK) Factorial combination treatment with 9 reply repeated 3 times and example of five plants per treatment. As the type of biological Fertilizer treatment factor (H) consisting of H1 = Biological liquid Fertilizer, H2 = Fertilizer Mycorrizha and varieties union (V) consist of V1 = Bima Gajah V2 = Bima Brebes V3 = Pancasona. The variable of observed was 1. Plant height (cm) 2. The number of leaves (blades) 3. Harvest age (hst) 4. The number of tubers per clump (clopes) 5. Fresh weight per clump (g) weight per tuber plots. Based on the result of the study showed the treatment of this type of biological fertilizer effect until very real for all variable. Treatment of varieties and the interaction effect was evident against variable number of bulbs, tuber weight per clump. Weight per tuber plots and not real against other variable. In tabulating the fertilizer treatment combination of mycorrizha and varieties of tuber weight per yield the best swat with an Average that was 2493.77 g/swath or equivalent of 9,98 ton/ha onion.

Abstract

            To increase the growth and production of pakcoy plants can be done by adding liquid organic fertilizer gamal leaves derived from agricultural waste. The research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Baturaja University, the time of the study began in September to November 2015. The study used this non factorial complete randomized design, which consisted of five levels of treatment of liquid organic fertilizer which was repeated four times, so it was obtained 20 treatment units. The treatment consisted of  A0: without gamal leaf POC, A1: 10 ml / l water of gamal leaf POC, A2: 20 ml / l water of gamal leaf  POC, A3: 30 ml / l water of gamal leaf POC, A4: Giving of gamal leaf POC 40 ml / l of water (with 200 ml / polybag). The results showed that the administration of gamal leaf POC affected the growth and production of pakcoy plants. Giving 20 ml / l of gamal leaf POC water is the best treatment and can increase pakcoy growth by 20.40% and production by 59.00% when compared to the control treatmentUntuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman pakcoy dapat dilakukan dengan penambahan pupuk organik cair daun gamal berasal dari limbah pertanian. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Baturaja, waktu penelitian dimulai pada bulan September sampai dengan November 2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak lengkap Non Faktorial, terdiri dari lima taraf perlakuan dosis pupuk organik cair diulang sebanyak empat kali, sehingga terdapat 20 unit perlakuan. Perlakuan terdiri A0: tanpa POC daun gamal, A1: pemberian POC daun gamal10 ml/l air, A2: Pemberian POC daun gamal 20 ml/l, A3: Pemberian POC daun gamal30 ml/l air, A4: Pemberian POC daun gamal40 ml/l air (dengan masing – masing penyiraman sebanyak 200 ml/polibeg). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian POC daun gamal berpengaruh pada pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman pakcoy. Pemberian POC daun gamal 20 ml/l air merupakan perlakuan terbaik dan dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan pakcoy sebesar 20,40 % dan produksi sebesar 59,00 % jika dibandingkan perlakuan kontrol.

Abstract

The research objective was to study the effect of organic and inorganic fertilizer on the growth and production of lettuce. This research was conducted from February 2017 to April 2017 at Green House, Faculty of Agricultural,Sjakhyakirti University Palembang. The research used Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 12 treatments and repeated 3 times. The treatment in this research was K (50 g.crop-1 cowmanure and 0 g.crop-1NPK fertilizer), L (50 g.crop-1 cow manure and 1 g.crop-1 NPK fertilizer ), M (50 g.crop-1 cow manure and 2 g.crop-1 NPK fertilizer), N (50 g.crop-1 cow manure and 3 g.crop-1NPK fertilizer), O ( 80 g.crop-1 cow manure and 0 g.crop-1 NPKfertilizer), P (80 g.crop-1 cow manure and 1 g.crop-1 NPK fertilizer), Q (80 g.crop-1 cow manure and 2 g.crop-1NPK fertilizer), R (80 g.crop-1 cow manure and 3 g.crop-1NPK fertilizer), S (110 g.crop-1 cow manure and 0 g.crop-1 NPK fertilizer), T (110 g.crop-1 cow manure and 1 g.crop-1NPK fertilizer), U (110 g.crop-1 cow manure and 2 g.crop-1 NPK fertilizer), V (110 g.crop-1 cow manure and 3 g.crop-1 NPK fertilizer). The variables observed in this study were plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), number of roots, wet weight of plant (g), dry weight of plant (g). The results showed that the organic fertilizer of cow manure and inorganic NPK fertilizer have no significant effect on the growth but has a significant effect on the production of lettuce plant. However, the U (110 g.crop-1 cow manure and 3 g.crop-1 NPK fertilizer) showed the best production of many leaves and wet trimming weight of lettuce.
