Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of product quality, service quality, and social media marketing on customer satisfaction at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf outlet. The research adopts a quantitative approach with a causal method. A total 100 respondents were selected using purposive sampling-specifically, customes who had visited the outlet at least twice within the last three months and followed The Coffee bean & Tea Leaf’s official social media account. Data were collected trough questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression after passing classical assumption tests, including normality, heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity, and linearity. The result indicate the product quality, service quality, and social media marketing have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, both partially and simultaneously. Among the three variables, service quality contributes the most. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0,442 indicates that the three independent variables explain 44,2% of the variation in customer satisfaction. These finding highlight the importance of maintaining product quality, providing excellent service, and utilizing social media effectively to build positive relationships with customer.

Abstract

This study investigates the direct and mediated effects of transformational leadership, human resource competence and budget efficiency on public service performance in the Rancabali Subdistrict Government, Bandung Regency. Innovation acts as a mediating mechanism connecting these managerial variables to service outcomes. Despite growing levels of citizen satisfaction, performance improvement remains limited, raising concerns about the effectiveness of managerial interventions. Applying an explanatory quantitative design, the study collected data from 30 structured questionnaires and conducted semi-structured interviews with six local government officials. Results from multiple linear regression and mediation analysis using PROCESS Macro v5.0 reveal that human resource competence is the most significant predictor of service performance (? = 0.634; p = 0.001), although it shows no influence on innovation (? = –0.087; p = 0.545). Budget efficiency does not directly affect performance (? = –0.077; p = 0.469) but significantly promotes innovation (? = 0.199; p = 0.032), which fully mediates its relationship with performance (95% CI: 0.019 to 0.332). Similarly, transformational leadership indirectly enhances performance through innovation (? = 0.458; p = 0.004). These findings emphasize innovation as a strategic pathway through which leadership and budgeting can be converted into measurable improvements in service delivery under constrained bureaucratic conditions.

Abstract

Understanding why undergraduates commit to particular career paths informs curriculum design and career-guidance services in higher education. Guided by Social Cognitive Career Theory, this study explores the relationships among learning experiences, self-efficacy, outcome expectations, career interest, and career choice among 140 students in the Faculty of Administrative Science, Universitas Brawijaya. A validated five-part questionnaire captured perceptions on each construct, and Pearson correlations were computed to map their interconnections. Results show strong positive associations between career choice and career interest (r = 0.79), outcome expectations (r = 0.72), and self-efficacy (r = 0.68), while learning experiences correlate moderately with the other variables. The pattern suggests that cultivating engaging experiences that enhance efficacy beliefs and clarify expected outcomes can foster deeper interests, thereby aligning students’ eventual choices with institutional learning goals. Findings offer evidence to refine competency-based curricula and develop focused career-mentoring initiatives that bridge academic programmes with evolving labour-market demands.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of subjective well-being, self-esteem, and social exchange on employee performance within family-owned businesses (FOBs) in the Gerbang Kertosusila region. Unlike traditional family firms, the FOBs in this study are characterized by family members acting solely as shareholders, while operational management is delegated to external professionals and relatives. Using a quantitative causal-explanatory approach, data was collected from 308 employees across 10 family-owned companies and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS 26. The findings reveal that subjective well-being, self-esteem, and social exchange each have a significant positive effect on employee performance. These results highlight the importance of psychological and relational factors in enhancing the productivity of employees within family-owned enterprises. By emphasizing emotional well-being, individual self-worth, and mutual workplace relationships, this study provides valuable insights for FOB leaders in fostering a high-performing organizational culture supported by strong internal social dynamics.

Abstract

This research explores the strategy of human resource development in Jakarta universities in the face of digital transformation and the Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) policy, as well as the role of digitalization of HR management (Digital HR) in increasing organizational effectiveness. The method used is a qualitative approach with secondary data analysis from national and international journals over the past ten years. The results show that HR competence is the main factor in organizational success in the digital era. Technology-based HR development strategies, with stakeholder support, produce adaptive, innovative, and globally competitive human resources. Organizations that are responsive to technological and social change tend to have an edge over the competition. This study has limitations, such as the use of secondary studies that are not representative of all organizations, and has not been in-depth analyzing organizational cultural factors, technological readiness, and policy support. The absence of primary data also makes the research results theoretical. Nevertheless, these findings make an important conceptual contribution and can serve as a basis for further research in developing HR management models that are relevant to the demands of the digital age and the implementation of MBKM policies.
