Abstract

The development of the digital logistics industry, driven by the rapid growth of e-commerce, has led to increasing complexity of operational risks that directly affect service quality and corporate performance. This study aims to analyze operational risk management in digital logistics companies, with a particular focus on the processes of risk identification, assessment, and mitigation arising from operational activities, especially in last-mile delivery, warehouse management, and information technology systems. The research adopts a descriptive approach, employing data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and document analysis. Risk analysis is conducted using a risk matrix to determine the likelihood and impact levels of operational risks. The results indicate that the dominant risks faced by the company include delivery delays, digital system disruptions, scanning errors (mis-scans), courier human error, and an increase in return-to-sender (RTS) cases. Risk mitigation strategies implemented by the company include improving the reliability of information technology systems, providing courier training, standardizing operational SOPs, and conducting real-time monitoring of delivery processes. However, the effectiveness of these mitigation measures is still constrained by high shipment volumes, dependence on third-party applications, and environmental variables in the field. This study recommends strengthening enterprise risk management, integrating AI-based tracking systems, and developing periodic risk evaluation mechanisms to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability in digital logistics companies.

Abstract

The rice sector in Indonesia is crucial to food security, livelihoods, and socio-economic stability, as rice is the main staple food. Rice productivity (yield) in Indonesia shows significant variation across districts and cities, underscoring the need to optimize yields. However, visual analytics at this level and topic, using BPS data, is still limited. This research shows that descriptive visualization of spatial disparities in yield and structural characteristics can be approached analytically using a dashboard.  The analysis relies entirely on aggregate data at the Province and District/city levels from Sensus Pertanian BPS 2023 and the Disaster Risk Index (Inarisk) BNPB, which include 514 districts/cities and cover farm structure, farm practices, access to services, and demographics. This interactive dashboard is designed to facilitate exploration of visual distributions of productivity. The result shows various patterns of spatial and structural. This finding is actually an initial exploration. The dashboard serves as a practice for stakeholders to identify special provinces or districts/cities for further analysis, compare among districts, or formulate priorities for further analysis. This research is part of support for planning and decision-making based on data-driven approaches in the agricultural sector.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Google Maps social media marketing and entrepreneurship on the competitiveness of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Ciledug area in the digital era. The approach used in this study is quantitative, with the research population being Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Ciledug, limited to the age range of 20 to 45 years. The sampling technique used a non-probability sampling method with a purposive sampling approach, so that a sample of 100 respondents was obtained. The data analysis tool used was SPSS version 26. The results of the study showed that partially, the Google Maps social media marketing variable had a positive and significant effect on competitiveness, and the entrepreneurship variable had a positive and significant effect on competitiveness. However, simultaneously, both variables, namely Google Maps social media marketing and entrepreneurship, had a positive and significant effect on the competitiveness of MSMEs. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.527 or 53% indicates that the Google Maps social media marketing and entrepreneurship variables are able to explain the variation in competitiveness by 53%, while the remaining 47% is influenced by other variables not studied. This research is expected to contribute as a reference for strategies to increase the competitiveness of MSMEs, especially through the use of social media and improving entrepreneurial skills through relevant business innovation training.

Abstract

High turnover intention remains a persistent challenge for organizations operating in high-demand work environments due to its adverse consequences for performance, service quality, and human resource sustainability (Hom et al., 2017). Drawing on Job Demands–Resources (JD–R) theory, this study examines the effect of psychological capital on turnover intention through burnout as a mediating mechanism (Bakker & Demerouti, 2017). Using a quantitative cross-sectional design, data were collected from 110 employees in a service-oriented organization in Indonesia. Psychological capital was measured using the Psychological Capital Questionnaire (PCQ-12), burnout was assessed with the Oldenburg Burnout Inventory (OLBI), and turnover intention was measured using the Turnover Intention Scale (TIS-6) (Luthans et al., 2015; Demerouti et al., 2010; Bothma & Roodt, 2013). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and mediation analysis with Jamovi. The results indicate that psychological capital has a significant negative effect on burnout, burnout has a significant positive effect on turnover intention, and burnout fully mediates the relationship between psychological capital and turnover intention. These findings extend JD–R theory by clarifying the mechanism through which personal resources reduce withdrawal intentions and offer practical implications for human resource management in high-demand organizations.

Abstract

High turnover intention remains a strategic challenge for public accounting firms due to its detrimental impact on audit quality, operational continuity, and human capital sustainability (Hom et al., 2017). Grounded in Organizational Support Theory (Eisenberger et al., 1986), this study examines the effects of perceived organizational support (POS) and employee engagement on turnover intention and identifies the dominant predictor within a professional service context. Using a quantitative cross-sectional design, data were collected from 110 auditors at the Associate and Senior Associate levels in a public accounting firm in Indonesia. POS was measured using the Survey of Perceived Organizational Support (Eisenberger et al., 1986), employee engagement was assessed using the ISA Engagement Scale (Soane et al., 2012), and turnover intention was measured using the Turnover Intention Scale (Bothma & Roodt, 2013). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression analysis. The results reveal that both perceived organizational support and employee engagement have significant negative relationships with turnover intention, consistent with prior empirical findings (Riggle et al., 2009; Kurtessis et al., 2017). However, perceived organizational support demonstrates a stronger and more consistent predictive effect. These findings underscore the critical role of organizational support mechanisms in reducing employees’ intention to leave and provide empirical support for Organizational Support Theory within the context of professional service firms in emerging economies.
