This research was conducted with the aim to find empirical evidence about the impact of the application of the Batu Pijar method in learning mathematics to learning activities and student achievement in learning mathematics. This research was conducted following a class action research procedure with the Kemmis and Taggart design. The subjects of this study were students of class VI C of Elementary School 47 Jambi City in the even semester of the 2018/2019 school year consisted of 30 people. The learning outcomes using the Batu Pijar method show that there was an increase in student learning activities. Positive results on student learning activities in mathematics can be seen from the tendency of increasing student learning activities in each cycle. in the first cycle (with an average of 9.33), at the time before the application of the Batu Pijar method the result was 12.4 in the first cycle and continued to increase to 13.17 in the second cycle, a good classification with an average of 14.67 in the cycle III and also with good classification with an average of 14.6 in the IV cycle.. Likewise student achievement has increased in terms of average and mastery learning. Average learning outcomes increased by 2.51% (from 79.7 to 81.7) and mastery learning increased by 11.11% (from 90% to 100%). Based on these results it can be said that the implementation of the Batu Pijar method in learning mathematics, contributes positively in increasing learning activities and student achievement in mathematics

School children fall into the category of nutrition-prone so that they need fulfillment of nutrition elements because they can affect physical growth and brain development. This relates to learning process and optimum learning achievement. The research concerns the problems on the correlation between nutrition status and first-grade students’ achievements of Elementary School 5 Banda Aceh. The research aims at finding out the correlation between nutrition status and learning outcome of first-grade students of Elementary School 5 Banda Aceh. The hypothesis is that there is a correlation between nutrition status and learning results of first-graders of Elementary School 5 Banda Aceh. It used quantitative method with correlation research type. It took place at Elementary School 5 Banda Aceh with 53 samples that was taken from 2 classes, namely IA and IB. The data collection of nutrition status is obtained from body weight measurement and body height measurement, which later are analyzed using body mass index formula based on age (BMI/A) and threshold formula (z-score)to interpret nutrition status, meanwhile the learning results is obtained by taking the students’ mean score of mid-semester examination. Statistical test that is used here is Product Moment correlation test and hypothesis test using z-test with significance of 0.05 (5%). Based on the data analysis results, a description of student’s nutrition status clinically is normal on the criterion of good nutrition with an average of -1,3 and learning outcomes are on the criterion of adequate with an average of 6.5.From the result of correlation analysis between nutrition status and student’s learning result, there is 0.466 correlation value that includes in the criterion of moderate and hypothesis test result is z count (3.36) z table (1.96), so that Ha is accepted. Therefore, in conclusion, there is a correlation between nutrition status and learning result of first-grade of Elementary School 5 Banda Aceh.

A proportion of science subjects matter in elementary school are abstract concept; object of discussion away from the student environment, they can not be touched and felt, or even seen directly by eye. Instructional media is needed for learning the materials; one of media is animation which is designed specifically for learning in elementary level. This paper focuses on to discuss the use of animation media whether effective in achieving the KKM fourth grade students of Sekolah Dasar Negeri 2 Lambhe. Quasi-experimental design and Pre-Experimental of one-shot case study used in this research. The number of subjects for this studi was 31 students. The result based on formative test: 80.65% of students had score ≥ KKM. Based on pre-defined criteria, it can be conclude that the use of animation media effectively reach KKM students of Sekolah Dasar Negeri 2 Lambhe, for the material of Appearance of the Earth and Sky Objects.

Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Tindakan yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini adalah Model Pembelajaran Kooperatf tipe Jigsaw dalam pembelajaran mata pelajaran Geografi. Rumusan hipotesis tindakannya adalah : “Bagaimanakah pembelajaran dengan penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Jigsaw”,dapat dilihat dari aspek : (1) Peningkatan aktivitas belajar peserta didik, (2) Aktivitas mengajar pendidik, (3) Peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik.Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas XI-IPS1 SMA Negeri 3 Banda Aceh dengan tindakan dilakukan sebanyak 3 tahapan atau siklus. Model penelitian yang dipilih adalah PTK kolaboratif dengan melibatkan 1 observasi sejawat pendidik kelas XI-IPS 1 Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi aktivitas belajar peserta didik, lembar observasi aktivitas pendidik, serta lembar tes hasil belajar. kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah : (1) Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dalam pembelajaran Geografi terbukti dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik. (2) Sedangkan, jika dilihat dari aspek aktivitas pendidik, hampir seluruh aspek sudah dapat diterapkan, hanya sebagian yang belum optimal, yaitu perhatian yang belum merata pada seluruh peserta sidik. (3) Penerapan Model Pembelajaran kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw jika dilihat dari aspek perolehan hasil belajar peserta didik juga menunjukkan keberhasilan. Berdasarkan simpulan hasil penelitian, selanjutnya dikemukakan saran sebagai berikut : (1) Penerapan ketrampilan mengelola kelas sangat diharapkan selalu dilakukan pendidik secara tepat, khususnya untuk menumbuhkan minat belajar anak. (2) Dalam penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw, hendaknya pendidik benar-benar memperhatikan prinsip-prinsip penerapan yang benar, agar hasilnya dapat maksimal.

Most of teachers in Aceh have not applied innovative teaching models as suggested in the Curiculum 2013. Generally they teach without using curriculum models suggested in the 2013 curriculum. Teachers are not yet fully informed about the learning models, so teachers are difficulty and rarely apply in the learning process. Based on the problems experienced by these teachers, then the thing done to solve the problem is to provide training and mentoring activities. Subjects in this study teachers SDN Banda Aceh as many as 40 people. This study employed descriptive qualitative method. Training on the learning model based on the 2013 curriculum for two days includes: first day of theoretical training on learning model; The second day, the training to practice the learning model that will be developed. Further assistance in developing and practicing the model of learning in the classroom for four months. In the process of mentoring teachers guided from the process of making learning tools such as RPP, Media and LKS. The results showed that only 30% applied the models suggested in the curriculum 2013. Teachers' efforts in applying these models are demonstrated by the teacher's persistence from the process of making the lesson plan, it seems that the teachers who applied the models were enthusiastic in fixing model-based RPPs, looking at modules, designing the required media, and asking actively when something is poorly understood. Teachers are recommended to apply the 2013 curriculum learning models in order to have innovative classroom activities that can make the students active and enthusiastic.

This article describes an empowerment activity conducted to train various alternative skills opportunities for Goheng community in order to try to increase their income so that they can improve their economy and their surroundings. In line with the objectives, the targets to be achieved is 20 housewives who can skillfully knit a total of 20 wallets and 60 brooches, 19 housewives and 1 male who can skillfully decorate with henna, 2 males and 18 housewives who are skilled in massage.

The study is titled “The Ability to Write Poetry Free of Grade V Students of Elementary Schools Negeri Lamreung Aceh Besar”. The problem formulation of this study is “How the Ability to Write Poetry Free of Grade V Students of Elementary Schools Negeri Lamreung Aceh Besar?”. This study aims to determine The Ability to Write Poetry Free of Grade V Students of Elementary Schools Negeri Lamreung Aceh Besar. The hypothesis of this study is the Ability to Write Poetry Free of Grade V Students of Elementary Schools Negeri Lamreung Aceh Besar still not enough. The approach used in this approach is quantitative. The type of research is descriptive statistics that serves to describe or give an idea of the object under study through sample data or population as is, without doing analysis and make conclusions that apply to the public. The sample of this study is Grade V Students of Elementary Schools Negeri Lamreung Aceh Besar which amounted to 21 students. Data collection techniques used in this study is a test. From the data obtained, it is known that the ability of grade V students in writing poetry to reach less category with an average value of 51,381 (topography); 11,429 (diction); 11,751 (images); 9,762 (concrete words); 9,476 (style of language); and 4,905 (rhyme). Based on student learning outcomes proves that the hypothesis of this study which states that the ability to write poetry is free of grade V students of Elementary Schools Negeri Lamreung Aceh Besar acceptable.

Teaching creativity is related to teaching abilities that can create a conducive atmosphere that makes students feel comfortable and challenged in learning, by making new combinations and connecting new ideas based on information data or elements that already exist. Teaching and learning activities in schools are oriented towards high academic learning achievement by all students, teachers who have high teaching creativity will be able to provide learning achievements to their students. Student learning achievement is the results achieved by students from their learning activities taken to obtain knowledge and skills that can be realized by changes in attitudes and behavior. Student learning achievement is strongly influenced by the creativity of a teacher as in choosing teaching methods, teaching media, quality and careful in seeing the potential of children in the school environment. A teacher's creativity greatly influences a student's learning achievement. In this case the teacher who has the potential to creativity in class is very positive influence on the progress of student learning achievement. To produce high student achievement it is necessary for teachers to hone their creative abilities to the maximum extent possible.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruhi penggunaan metode inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar pada subtema gerak dan gaya di SDN 16 Banda Aceh. Hipotesis dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh penggunaan metode inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar pada subtema gerak dan gaya di SDN 16 Banda Aceh dan juga metode inkuiri lebih baik dibanding metode konvensional. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif, sedangkan jenis penelitian murni. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN 16 Banda Aceh yang berjumlah 61 siswa. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah kelas eksperimen berjumlah 31 siswa dan kelas kontrol berjumlah 30 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes yang berbentuk pilihan ganda yang berjumlah 20 soal. Rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen adalah 80,97 dan kelas kontrol adalah 72,32. Setelah data terkumpul, diolah dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik uji-t, pada taraf signifikan = 0,05. Berdasarkan kriteria pengujian hipotesis yakni terima H0 jika . Maka dari hasil data yang telah diolah, diketahui bahwa Sehingga H0 ditolak, artinya terdapat pengaruh penggunaan metode inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar pada subtema gerak dan gaya di SDN 16 Banda Aceh.

Materi matematika yang ada di buku guru dan buku siswa pada kuriklum 2013 dibahas secara umum dan tidak spesifik sehingga menimbulkan persepsi guru terhadap materi matematika yang ada di buku guru dan buku siswa pada kurikulum 2013. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana persepsi guru terhadapmaterimatematika di buku guru danbuku siswa kelas IV,V,VI pada kurikulum 2013 di GugusDelima Kota Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi guru yang tergabung dalam Gugus Delima tentang materi materimatematika di buku guru danbuku siswa kelas IV,V,VI pada kurikulum 2013. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru wali kelas IV,V danVI yang tergabung dalam Gugus Delima Kota Banda Aceh yang berjumlah 18 orang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif.Data ini diproleh melalui observasi dan angket.Data diolah dengan rumus statistik sederhana yaitu deskriptif persentase. Berdasarkan analisis data yang telah dilakukan bahwa (77,78 %) guru yang tergabung dalam Gugus Delima Kota Banda Aceh berpendapat bahwa kurikulum 2013 susah bagus dan baik di terapkan di sekolah. Analisis data tentang pesrsesi guru terhadap materi matematika dapat kita lihat bahwa (51,39 %) responden mengatakan materi matematika sudah baik dan sesuai dengan kurikulum 2013, serta materinya sudah mudah dipahami peserta didik. Sedangkan ada (48,61 %) responden yang tergabung dalam Gugus Delima Kota Banda Aceh, mengatakan bahwa ada beberapa materi yang ada pada buku guru dan buku siswa masih belum lengkap dan sulit dipahami peserta didik. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan disimpulkan bahwa persepsi guru yang tergabung dalam Gugus Delima terhadap materi yang ada pada buku guru dan buku siswa khususnya materi matematika belum sepenuhnya baik.
