Abstract

 Student difficulties in understanding algebra particularly in factoring is because teachers have not been able to utilize manipulative objects (props) as a medium to narrow nature of mathematical abstraction itself. Props mathematics is a concrete object that can be manipulated, in order to bridge mathematical abstraction. Flip-flops and frond thatch are two things that will serve as a manipulative object in learning algebra. The purpose of this study are: (1) to describe the use of flip-flops and frond thatch as manipulative objects to enhance the ability algebra of junior high school students; and (2) To know the use of manipulative objects flip-flops and frond thatch will reach or not the ability algebra of junior high school reached an average of more than 65. This study is a quantitative study with experimental method. In this study there is only one group of research subjects derived from the 3 school level (low, medium, and high), the experimental group doing mathematics by using manipulative objects. To determine the ability of an algebraic increase to more than 65 will be used t-test. The result showed that the tcount ttable (5:44 1.67), so in this case H0 is rejected. Further in the learning process was also found that the students are very easy in factoring a quadratic equation by using the manipulative objects. The conclusions of this study are: (1) Learning with the use of flip-flops and sago palm frond as manipulative objects to the increased ability of algebra junior high school students has been going well and facilitate student. (2) Learning mathematics algebra material using props from the flip-flops and frond thatch can improve the understanding of junior high school eighth grade on the material algebra reaches an average (μ0) of more than 65.

Abstract

Kurangnya kecerdasan interpersonal adalah salah satu akar penyebab tingkah laku yang tidak diterima secara sosial. Rendahnya kecerdasan interpersonal dapat menyebabkan terjadinya perilaku verbal bullying. Penelitian ini mengangkat masalah adakah hubungan antara kecerdasan interpersonal siswa dengan perilaku verbal bullying di SD Negeri 40 Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kecerdasan interpersonal siswa dengan perilaku verbal bullying di SD Negeri 40 Banda Aceh. Hipotesis penelitian yakni terdapat hubungan antara kecerdasan interpersonal siswa dengan perilaku verbal bullying di SD Negeri 40 Banda Aceh.  Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri 40 Banda Aceh dengan populasi sebanyak 135 siswa dan sampel sebanyak 101 siswa. Populasi diambil dari 5 kelas, yaitu kelas IVA, IVB, VA, VB, dan kelas VI. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket tertutup dari masing-masing variabel dengan menggunakan skala likert. Uji reliabilitas dan uji prasyarat analisis menggunakan SPSS 16.0. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji korelasi Product Moment dengan bantuan SPSS 16,0. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh gambaran kecerdasan interpersonal siswa pada kriteria sedang dengan frekuensi relatif 80,2 % dan perilaku verbal bulying berada pada kriteria rendah dengan perolehan 67,33 %. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kecerdasan interpersonal siswa dengan perilaku verbal bulying di SD Negeri 40 Banda Aceh. Terbukti dari hasil analisis korelasi antara kecerdasan interpersonal siswa dengan perilaku verbal bullying diperoleh nilai korelasi -0,390. Ini berarti bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif antara kecerdasan interpersonal siswa dengan perilaku verbal bullying. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi kecerdasan interpersonal siswa, maka semakin rendah perilaku verbal bullying.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to influence the use of a scientific approach to student learning outcomes in science learning in SD Negeri 10 Lambung Bukit, Pauh District, Padang. This research is an experimental research type Quasi Experimental Design with the design of The Static Comparison: Randomized Control Group Only Design. The population in this study were all students in grade IV semester II SD Negeri 10 Lambung Bukit District Pauh which consisted of 2 classes totaling 47 people. Based on the data analysis, the results of testing of the data from the sample class are normally distributed and homogeneous. Furthermore, hypothesis testing was done by t-test showing tcount = 2.464 and ttable = 1.677 with db = 47 (n1 + n2–2 = 24 + 25-2 = 47) and a significant level of 5%. Based on the t-test t table (2,464 1,677) then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, with the conclusion that student learning outcomes that use a scientific approach are better than student learning outcomes without using a scientific approach to student learning outcomes in science learning in grade IV elementary school Negeri 10 Lambung Bukit District Pauh.

Abstract

The research aims at finding out the result of national examinationof two schoolsthat used school-based curriculum and K-13 curriculum. The research hypothesis is that there is a significant difference on the result of national examination in 2016 taken from both schools. The research approach is quantitative approach with comparative study. The data that is obtainedfrom the schools areanalyzed using “t” formula for difference test. Based on the result of data analysis, t test is -2.86154 and t table is 2.000.In conclusion, there is a significant difference on the result of national examination between a school with school-based curriculum and a school with K-13 curriculum. In conclusion, a school-based curriculum school got better result than a K-13 curriculum school did.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran atau proses belajar mengajar  merupakan suatu proses yang mengandung serangkaian perbuatan guru dan siswa atas dasar hubungan timbal balik yang berlangsung dalam situasi edukatif untuk mencapai tujuan tertentu. Interaksi antara guru dengan siswa itu merupakan syarat utama bagi berlangsungnya proses belajar mengajar. rumusan masalah dalam makalah ini adalah “ Bagaimanakah cara mengembangkan kompetensi guru dalam melaksanakan tugas agar menjadi  guru yang profesional?”. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengetahui cara mengembangkan kompetensi guru dalam melaksanakan tugas agar menjadi  guru yang profesional.           Tugas guru sebagai profesi meliputi mengajar, mendidik, dan melatih. Mengajar berarti meneruskan dan mengembangkan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Mendidik adalah meneruskan dan mengembangkan nilai-nilai hidup. Sedangkan melatih berarti mengembangkan ketrampilan-ketrampilan pada siswa. Tugas guru dalam bidang kemanusiaan meliputi bahwa guru harus dapat menjadikan dirinya sebagai orang tua kedua Sertifikat pendidik diberikan kepada  guru yang telah dinyatakan lulus dalam ujian sertifikasi pendidik, baik melalui penilaian forto folio mapun dalam latihan mengembangkan kemampuan profesional, serta diyakini mampu melaksanakan tugas memdidik, membelajarkan, melatih, membimbing, dan menilai hasil belajar peserta didik..

Abstract

Tujuan dari pembuatan makalah ini adalah untuk memberikan penjelasan mengenai unsur-unsur  signifikan apa saja yang mendukung pembelajaran bahasa inggris pada anak.Pemakaian materi otentik (authentic-materials) akan sangat membantu pembelajaran, terutama bagi anak yang belum mengenal bahasa target sama sekali. Salah satunya adalah dengan menggunakan metode yang menerapkan penggunaan budaya bahasa itu sendiri. Mengajar bahasa inggris pada anak membutuhkan cara dan metode khusus. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan komunikatif-integratif, kegiatan pelajaran pada anak akan memberikan pendekatan yang komplit yakni membaca, mendengar, dan menulis. Hal ini berarti beberapa jenis kegiatan diintegrasikan dalam sebuah kegiatan membaca. Pada dasarnya pelajaran membaca itu sendiri dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahapan, yaitu tahap prabacaan, bacaan, dan pascabacaan.Untuk mencapai sasaran pembelajaran bahasa inggris pada anak, Pengajar dituntut untuk terus memberikan motivasi pada anak dan lebih kreatif dalam mengembangkan bahan ajarnya,  lebih terstruktur dalam  mempersiapkan kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas, lebih optimal dalam memotivasi pembelajar, dan lebih memperhatikan setiap kesulitan maupun keberhasilan pembelajar.

Abstract

In accordance with the demands of the development of technology and information teachers are required to innovate in learning, one of them teachers should master the various uses of media in learning. The problems examined in this study are how the activities of teachers and students in the use of media variations and whether the use of media variations in Civics material can improve student learning outcomes in class IV MIN Adan Beureunuen. This study aims to see the activities of teachers and students in using media variations on the Civics material to improve student learning outcomes in class IV MIN Adan Beureunuen. The approach used in this study is qualitative with a type of classroom action research (CAR). Data collection is done by observation and tests. Observations were made to see the use of variations in the media in the learning process, while the test to see student learning outcomes. Furthermore, all data is processed using a percentage formula. The results of the first cycle showed that there were still many shortcomings. Both in terms of the media, teachers, and student activities. So the learning outcomes of students in the first cycle under the KKM. So it continues in the next cycle. In cycle II shows that there are better changes in the media, teacher activities, and students. So that student learning outcomes increase. In the first cycle the teacher's activity reached 90% with a very good category, but in the second cycle it had increased to 96% with a very good category too. In the first cycle the activity of students reached 66% in the good category, but in the second cycle it had increased to 79% in the very good category. Likewise in cycle 1 learning outcomes 52% of students are complete and in cycle II it increases to 79% which is complete. This means that the use of media variations can improve student learning outcomes in grade IV MIN Adan Beureunuen.

Abstract

This research entitled the application of models of learning make a match to content Globalization uterhadap student learning outcomes SD Blang Kiree. The problem in this research is how student learning outcomes by using cooperative learning models make a match to content globalization on class IV SD Blang Kiree. This research aims to know the results of the learning model cooperative learning using siswadengan make a match. This research uses qualitative research methods. The subject of research grade IV SD Blang Kiree totalling 25 persons. The conclusion that the application of the model make a match increases student learning results ketuntasan in SD Blang Kiree.

Abstract

Integrated learning is a learning model that has meaningful benefits for learners in everyday life. Integrated learning implemented in elementary schools will color a comprehensive process and learning outcomes. For that purpose, the preparation, planning, execution and assessment is a unified learning system. The role of teachers in the success of integrated learning in primary schools requires careful planning, the execution of the learners' fun, and a comprehensive assessment of the attitudes, knowledge and skills learned by learners. The integrated learning model uses an inter-subject approach. This model is an approach of integration between topics by combining concepts in math, science, language and art and social knowledge. This model is implemented by combining the subjects (interdisciplinary), setting priority of subject matter, skills, concepts and attitudes that are interrelated in some subjects. To create a theme, the teacher must first select the concept of several subjects, then be linked in a theme to cover several subjects, in a themed learning package.

Abstract

The results of the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) study stated that literacy culture (the ability to read and write) the Indonesian people in 2012 was the second worst of 65 countries studied in the world. The problem in this study is the low learning activities and writing skills of fourth grade students of Cimanggung Elementary School, Cimanggung District, Sumedang Regency. This study aims to determine the increase in student learning activities, teacher teaching activities, and essay writing skills of grade IV students using Think Talk Write models. The instruments used in this study are observation sheets of student learning activities, observation sheets of teacher activities, and tests. The purpose of this study is to improve the ability to write essays and student learning activities, describe the steps and process / implementation of writing essay learning by applying TTW learning models (Think Talk Write), and describe whether there is an increase in the ability to write essays by applying TTW learning models (Think Talk Write) on fourth grade students of SDN Cimanggung, Cimanggung District, Sumedang Regency. The research method used is Classroom Action Research with a research design used referring to a model developed by Kemmis and Taggart, namely a spiral model that starts with: 1) planning; 2) acting / acting; 3) observation (observing); and 4) reflecting. The research subjects were 30 grade IV students of SDN Cimanggung, consisting of 15 women and 15 men. This research was conducted for 2 cycles.
